This is a great place to have your vehicle repaired. Great small town experence! So i recently had a rear put in an older suv. Russ (owner operator) worked with me by letting me bring my own used part, was honest about the work that needed to be done and got me rolling with no problems at a price that was reasonable. Another friends shop quoted me $450... Thanks again russ you have a customer for life!

Russell is a true gear head, he knows cars inside and out. He will find the real problem when no one else can. He is affordable, and will back up any error made by him or his staff. Sometimes he gets too busy but good help is hard to find.

Don’t take your car to this shop. They will destroy your car. They won’t tell you all that’s wrong with your car until you pay your hard earned money, then they’ll say oh this other thing is wrong.They are not trustworthy, it’s all about the money.Take your car to get one thing fixed another thing happens. Great people there always work with me with the price love going there very reliable

It made me give them one star before I could post. I wouldnt take my kids bicycle to these people. They had my truck for four months,said it was a fuel pump, and a wire. I pick it up had it one day. It stopped working.had it towed again, this time he had it for six months. Ridiculous! How are you gonna treat a paying customer like this! Finally I sent someone to goget my truck. Russell took the full tank of gas I had, the wiring harness, the key,and the mounting hardware. I will never use or recommend this bum to anyone.

Great team! Russell is extremely knowledgeable and honest to a fault. He offers very reasonable pricing that fits any budget, and does not start any additional work for other faults/damage found without a customers knowledge and aval.Found them to be a bit overcrowded during our few visits, but this could be imparted to the place being super reputable. Its out of their control.I highly recommend.

HORRIBLE SERVICE .i don’t recommend this place to anybody, Go to a REAL car place what these people do is scam let me give you a scenario of how they work.. so let’s say you go to the hospital complaining of coughing up blood and a runny nose, the doctor checks you out and tells you oh it’s a cold. But really the doctor knows it’s lung cancer but instead of telling you he keeps it to himself and you end up dying faster. That’s how they deal with your cars

I have been bringing my cars to Russ for over 2 years now. I was referred to him from NAPA auto parts when I was looking for a wheel for my car. Since then I have taken my car back 6 or 7 times for various repairs. He is honest, trustworthy, and most important he will find the true issue instead of doing a quick fix or parts change. I had a repair made by Firestone before I found this shop that cost me almost $500 and the issue was not fixed. I brought it to Russ and after he found the true issue he fixed it once and for all. I just bought a new car a month ago and it broke down one week after I got it. (electrical issue). Russ took his time, found the problem and had me up in running the same day. The best mechanic I have ever been to. I would recommend him for any repair that you have.

DO NOT GO TO THEM! It’s a rip off !! Took my car to them and explained what was going on with it. They told me I needed a throttle body and charged me $600. Well first of all they ended up taking 2 weeks to fix my car. When they first started working on it, they said that they ordered the part from somewhere in PA. The day they originally told me it would be done, I got no phone calls from them at all so I called and was told that the part came but that whoever delivered it dropped it in the parking lot and broke it so they were waiting on a new one. Fast forward to getting my car back, I was literally having the same problem within the next week that I got it back from them. That made me doubt whether they actually did anything to it at all and wanted to get it checked out by someone else to confirm that but after coming up with $600 out of nowhere I rly didn’t have the money to put it back in the shop. Ok so it’s been about 10 months since Why Pay More supposedly did whatever to my car and now the problem has steadily gotten worse. Well Ive just moved back to the eastern shore so I took it to the only shop I have been trusting my car to for years and now they are telling me that Of course I need a new throttle body again. So I called Why Pay More Auto because there is supposed to be a 2 year warranty on the part and the guy I spoke with tells me that all of a sudden the part they used was a used part so it has no warranty. And I explained to him like how is it used when y’all even told me that the deliverer broke it and y’all had to order a new one and why was I never told that then or given a choice in that matter? He said that I didn’t make sense and that it was written in the notes in their system that it was a used part. So I asked him ok then if it’s used, then where did you get it from ? And he said “ oh we get our parts from all over” So Idk but to me this sounds like basically they got over on me and I was stupid enough to let them get away with it . PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE!

This is the only place I will take my vehicle. Have known these guys for years. They are honest, trustworthy and do great work. I highly recomment.

I have a bunch of vehicles, most of them 13-22 years old. Russel pulls off minor miracles and lets me get years and years of payment free driving out of them...for cheaper than anyone else.

Great customer service and they get the problem SOLVED ! When 3 previous shops either couldnt diagnose the problem or tried to charge a small fortune..

As a fellow small business owner it saddens me to write a negative review. Last year my experience with the shop were fantastic. I brought in my work vehicle, a school bus. I scheduled an appt. for routine maintenance. My vehicle was not worked on in a timely manner and I missed out on a work event right out of the gate. They had it for a week. Then there was an electrical issue that was never resolved. I paid for the repair and continued having issues, it was brought back and forth four times, I pleaded with them to please get it back to me or at the very least communicate with me, as this was my work vehicle and I was missing events. Russel refused to talk to me, or return my calls. I would call from my number and get voicemail and call from a friends phone right after and they would pick up and Russel or one of his people would swear they would call back. The whole thing was grossly unprofessional. I took my vehicle to a different shop where I had to pay again for the repairs that why pay more had done/not been able to do. Also, they left my vehicle open and unattended so someone stole my $100 blue tooth speaker and all my charging cables as well. I am so disappointed in this shop.

Russell is a top notch mechanic and knows what he is doing. He will work with you concerning what needs to be done to get your car on the road.

This place is the biggest joke around. Took my car in for a no start. And 2 weeks later i call and still no answer. So i decide to go down to shop and see my car all torn apart and theu were taking parts off my car to test on other vehicles. I seen this with my own eyes. So i finally had it towed to my buddis shop and guess wjy it wouldnt start. It just needed a fuel pump these fiols had my car two weeks and couldnt figure it out. Joke. And a ripoff. Shadyyyyyyyy. Wish i couldgive this place a negative 5 star review. Thats what they deserve
