The mechanic was very helpful showing me exactly what I needed to get my car fixed. And the store manager was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

This Mr Tire probably saved my life. The crew found out that my control arm was about to fall apart and showed me what needed to be done. I am very satisfied with the service, the tech, the management. They are great.

They claim they have no responsibility for the services/work they perform or are supposed to perform. They claim the warranty information on your receipt is false. They offer a discount but if you do the math its no where near what they say (60% vs actual 25%). They also have major inconsistences in their paperwork and will argue that if they circle a part green it was just a mistake and you should know that.

Hats off to Tia Strayham at the Back River Neck Rd. store She is very knowledgeable, and walked me through step by step as to what the problem was, and what needed to be done. A total delight!

Great service! Everything I needed was explained to me & the job was done timely!

Very disappointed. Took my car for alignment and they said my tie rod were bad and will cost over $1000 for repair. I took my car to 3 other shops to check and they said the tie rods are fine and were not tightened up instead. They said I don’t even need to change the tie rod and even if I did there’s no way it will cost me $1000. At first I thought maybe this store didn’t check it well but very disappointed after all the 3 auto shops I went to gave me the same response. Even the alignments were not done properly. Ended up paying over a days salary for nothing.

Ive had multiple positive encounters at this Mr. Tire location. As a busy man in the military I appreciate when companies pride themselves on service and accommodation. Tia and TJ in particular have helped me get needed repairs done and fit me in when I wasnt able to get time off. Im grateful for shops that go above and beyond for their customers.

I’ve been going to this Mr Tire since about 2014. They’ve always been very nice, they know what they’re doing, and tell it to you straight when it comes to maintenance. I’ve never felt cheated or swindled like a lot of these place around here. Also, this SPECIFIC location is the best when it comes to their staff! Story time.All in all, this Mr Tire is my go to location for all my cars from now on. Highly recommend.UPDATE 9/25: Had an oil change and 2 new tires. Ms Tia was super nice and helped me get the right oil for my car, considering I only have about 50k. Saved me some money and got some new tires. She also made sure I knew about what o keep an eye on, like battery and brakes. I’m not going to any other Mr Tire location but this one. They’re practically family.

Great company and great service but I do have 1 bad thing to say. I came to get an oil change and some other services for my car last week and while they worked on my car they said I can wait in the back, in the waiting section and I sat on the big red couch and 3 min later I see bed bugs crawling on my pants. I suggest you guys throw that couch away but again these guys took care of my car quick and for a good price, just don’t sit on their red couch. :)

Great location and great customer service. I came into the shop this morning for a wheel balance, and was taken well care of during my appointment. Mike, who works at the front is very professional and treated me with great hospitality from the start to the end of the service appointment. Also, the mechanic crew went above and beyond to repair something that wasn’t even on the service request. Awesome experience, and it’s always my first choice out of all the other Mr. Tire locations in my local area. I’ll definitely be back when I need a quick check up on my vehicle!

Use to be a great place to come. Made an appointment for 9:30, granted I know I wont be able to get my car back there at that time. I got there at 9:30, a woman came in after me about a half an hour after the fact Ive been sitting here. And she is out before me. I am getting an oil change and I am now sitting a little over hour in a half in.I will be going some where else, as I said understand not getting back there exactly at the appointment time, but its sad I am here almost 2 hours in.

My wife and I needed a front end alignment done for our 2013 Toyota Avalon. We decided to make an appointment at Mr Tire Of Essex. We were really pleased to find out that appointment times here at this place matters. The staff were dead on with our time slot. They handled our car with care and got the job done. We were really pleased with the friendliness of the staff. This place is very professional. We highly recommend taking your car here for any service. I also realized today which is 10-12-2020. That you can’t write 2 reviews on the same business. But I came back to this place of business for my van and once again I got the same results. The Lady TIa who works the front and the back in some instances was awesome. I don’t know where you all found her but please keep her. She is great. Just moved down to back River about four years ago and had to get two tires repaired for my boat trailer I took them up to Mr. tire was told it would take an hour to repair them I came back in an hour and a half they weren’t ready the gentleman waiting on me had a terrible attitude so I came back the next day and picked him up and he charge me more than what he initially said. About a year maybe year and a half ago I had tire issues on my Escalade and decided to give Mr. tire another chance and boy I’m glad I did looks like they changed all their management and workers every time I go in there I get treated with respect and with good service, I get my oil change there every 4000 miles and on my next visit they’re going to replace the gasket on my oil pan I highly recommend everyone using Mr. Tire On back River neck Road.

Customer service was top notch.. my truck was taken care of immediately. I spent a total of 35 minutes there. My only gripe is the A/C is broke and it was 100 degrees in the store 🥴.

Had a great oil change and the time was quick. Great service and nice customer experience when dealing with new issues.

When trying to change my flat tire, I discovered I did not have a wheel lock for my car. The AAA man filled it up with air as best he could and sent me on my way, hoping it would hold as I beelined for Mr. Tire. When I called to explain my situation John, who I spoke to, was very understanding and assured me they could help. When I arrived they took care of my car, explaining every step and being transparent about any charges before work was done. My tire COULD have been repaired, but John noticed the rubbing thinning from driving on it flat and was concerned. I absolutely trusted his judgement (after all theyre the experts) and had him replace with a new one. This was my third flat tire, and third time at this location, and I highly recommend.

These guys were Great 😍Called at 6:00pm asking about an urgent tire change. I asked when was the fastest I could get new tire appointment. He said I can go now if I wanted to. My parents have been getting service done at this location for years. I went here out of desperation because of an issue another company told me they fixed on my car. (I gave them two chances and found out they broke something.) The guys at Mr. Tire were very honest and transparent about what they were doing. Answered every question i had and even showed me what they were doing to correct the problem. I will continue using this location for my car needs in the future.

Went there and waited for a synthetic oil change. Had the generic coupon that every company offers. They honored it with no prob. Service was done in less than 30 minutes. Also a prior visit of taking a loose tire there to be replaced which went well. I might try them for an alignment or some repairs in the future if it ever comes up. In response to the other review, I received no offer of a discount to write this.

The manager Al and associates were more than helpful.. I had questions ( being a female) and they took the time and made sure I understood the process needed. I came to the Mr tire on back river neck road based off a family recommendation. And needless to say I can see why my sister referred me. I am not the most up to date when it comes to what is recommended for high mileage cars. I’ve always done just a regular oil change. With the help of the guys up front. I. It only put the correct oil in my car. But also gained some knowledge between the difference of regular oil and high mileage.

I would try to go somewhere else if you can... they make people do 5 Star google reviews in store to get 5$ off their total, which is HIGHLY UNETHICAL so don’t trust the rating.After waiting 4 hours (with an appointment, not just walking in) to have 4 tires mounted and balanced they mounted 2 of my directional tires backwards. Tire is literally the name of the company...They did refund me about 40% of the cost and re-mounted them correctly, which took about 30 mins. However, I would’ve happily paid the full price to have it correct and on time. It takes most competent auto shops 1-2 hours to mount and balance 4 average tires.

These guys were honest and got me the solution I needed quickly and at the best value.

Mr. Mike was excellent, he shared all details that was needed about my vehicle very thoughtfully.

I usually don’t post reviews on my expierences, but I truly felt the want and need to leave this particular one. I stopped by the mr tire location in Essex, and was greeted by a gentleman at the door named Mark. I came in for pricing on tires for my 4Runner. I had previously priced up tires at a different location. Mark from the beginning was great. He took the time to go over different tires and their pros and cons. The differences between their rating. And how they would feel when driving. He took the time to explain in full detail exactly what each tire is meant for. Between all terrain tires. Regular tires. Everything. He was great. I felt as if he cared about what wanted and needed, and not just worried about selling tires. Give this man a raise ! He definitely deserves it. Between his compassion, his honesty, and his overall customer service is something I haven’t experienced at a mechanic shop before.

I’ll admit I’m not one to stay on top of preventative maintenance on my vehicle. I came in for my oil change, and was shown where I haven’t been showing much attention to my truck. Thanks to the staff here at Mr Tire, my truck feels so much better after a much needed tune up.

This review is titled, They went above and beyond. To give a quick rundown of my experience and why I want to commend them, I had an issue with a tire on a Ford EcoSport in Essex, MD yesterday, right off of 150. Short story, I destroyed a tire when I accidentally hit something and it tore a hole in the sidewall of my tire. This was when I found out that the EcoSport does not have a spare tire, or a jack, or a lug wrench. It basically has fix-a-flat - a bottle of goo, and a mini air pump. Clearly, this wasnt going to work with a two inch tear in the sidewall of a tire.This happened at about 6:30 pm, and Mr. Tires advertised closing time is 7:00, but I called and asked 1.) did they have a tire that would fit, and 2.) would they be willing to stay open if I could get the tire off and get it to them. They said yes, and yes. I got the tire off, ran it over to the shop and arrived at precisely 7:01. They jumped right on it and had me back out the door before 7:20, and in doing so helped me solve a problem that could have been a serious headache.The two gentlemen that stayed, were friendly, courteous, and seemed to be happy to help dig me out of the predicament I found myself in. HUGE thanks to both of them. They made their shop proud.
