I was recently traveling with my family, when my rear brakes started to make a terrible grinding noise. It worsened significantly over a couple of days. I initially went to a Firestone, who told me I needed new calipers, rotors, and brakes -- they quoted me at over $1500. My husband called Sheppard Volvo, they were able to work with my travel plans, got me in first thing the next morning and had me in and out at 1/3 of the price tag in less than two hours. They did a courtesy check of my vehicle as well to make it sure it was safe to travel the rest of the way home. Nick in the service department was extremely professional and knowledgeable. So happy with my experience overall -- we cant recommend them enough. Thank you again!
The guys at Volvo are top notch! I had been putting off buying a new car for quite some time and Val, Kenneth and Corey put all my worries to rest. I got a killer deal and am so so happy! I LOVE my new car and will absolutely be recommending to everyone! Thanks again! :-)
Thank you to Val, Charlie and Abraham at Sheppards Volvo for making our purchase a great experience. After a week of me kicking tires and asking questions they were very understanding and answered all my inquires and were very helpful.Id highly recommend these gentleman and this dealership, they go all the way to make your buying experience comfortable and enjoyable one.Thank you again John & Carrie Wurth Gold Hill Oregon.
I had a recent experience with Sheppard Volvo of Eugene (OR). I took my 2001 Volvo S60 in for a recall (strong gas odor ?fuel pump leak), but apparently the recall did not pertain to my vehicle. What started out as a cpl hrs to diagnose ended up being a 5- day hold on my car. It would be understandable if repairs had been done, but no repairs authorized and they kept the Volvo for an extended period of time. I called into the service department daily and kept getting voice mail, so I left messages with either a callback telling me that my car would be ready in a couple of hrs n that they’d call me back as soon as it was ready, or no response at all. It was a crapshoot of who I would speak to- three different people who didn’t seem to communicate with each other. On the day of pickup, I had called and left voice messages to three different people. No call back except from their shuttle driver telling me he would be picking me up in 10 min. Upon inspection there were items missing from my car: pocket knife, tactical flashlight, n my emergency road side kit n flares. This is who represents the name and face of Volvo. I expected better. I’ve been servicing my Volvo at what I consider to be a very reputable business Eugene Car Care (formerly Swedish Engineering) for coming up on two decades. I’ve never had issues of communication, or theft. They are straight up and honest, competent and courteous. Their mechanics are Volvo Certified. I feel very spoiled by their services. You should be so lucky to have Ed and his crew to be the face and representation of Volvo. Their reputation precedes them. Sheppard Volvo of Eugene lost their credibility and respect with this customer. Special Thanks Goes To Nickolas Pantle.
I love Sheppard motors, the family aspect truly shines in there service quality. The staff is friendly and helpful always willing to put your needs first (yes I know they get payed to do this but they go above and beyond). The owner Phil is a true gentleman and TIKTOK STAR. When I have a job and can afford to buy a car I will be returning. But for now I can only dream off becoming part of the Sheppard family.

I was dreading shopping for a decent used car, but the experience was almost pleasant. The salesman didnt use those pressure tactics I was expecting. Offered me a great price.
We love Sheppard Motors, We have bought 2 cars from Tony Johnson! He is our #1 Sales guy! We love him...
I was ripped off big time by the service adviser Nickolas Pantle. He is very rude and demonstartes unprofessioanl behavior with a major attitude. Be careful when you sign the service order, they will try to rip you off in something that you did not agree to have done. He is very shady. Also, look at the Yelp review regarding the service department. Someone had the same expereimnce that I did at Sheppard Volvo where they did not authorize the repair.
Awesome, learned more about my Volvo that I was unaware these features are included. Avery Smith very informative and pleasant. 🙂
Jerry Wing helped me with my struts, and though it was a difficult fix, his customer service was excellent. Many thanks to the service team at Sheppard who took care of my struts though it took more time than expected. I had a great experience and the team at Sheppard made sure it was done right.
Great service.. very friendly place
Bob Ross was very friendly and demonstrated excellent customer service during our visit. He went out of his way to make sure we got the service we needed.
Great personalities here, friendly and proffesional!
Our salesman, Tom, knew everything about the new Volvos.
