One star is too much. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in the restaurant setting before. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel with sausage and this is what I got. I went to the counter and showed them my bagel and said “is there any way i could get another egg since the egg barley covers one side?” And LIZ- the employee said “that’s just how it comes- if you want more you’ll have to pay and extra dollar” (in very rude tone and didn’t even make eye contact). I will not be supporting this business any more and i advise you to follow. Not good food and awful service.

The ordering on their site is easy and the food is delicious! We got the Dagwood with a Avalanche smoothie and the hot ham and cheese with a Cold Rush smoothie. The sandwiches were big and full of meat and veggies and the smoothies were amazing! Well definitely be getting this again!

Dont order from Daily Bagel. They do not follow instructions. Ordered no onion and no dressing on my almost $9 sandwich (via Door Dash), and of course, it came with onions and was dripping in dressing. Had to toss the sandwich, so money was wasted. And, dont try to call them, either. They wont answer and the mailbox is full. So very disappointing.

Ordered twice so far, both times through Grubhub, both times I requested lox bagel without onions or capers. First one was lovely, no issues there. Second time... Well, look at the pictures. Luckily Im not allergic to onions. I already gotten a refund processed through Grubhub, so I dont need assistance on that end, but between ignoring my request + the genuinely sad amount of lox, the only thing keeping this from a one star is the fact that my first order was so good.Im not angry, Im just sad. :(

I ordered a chicken sandwich that was the smallest amount of chicken I’ve ever been served, EVER. Not exaggerating at all I wish I was. On the actual menu it seems as it’s going to be this amazing sandwich but it wasn’t :( the staff was super nice though!

So very disappointed! I had lunch at The Daily Bagel in June 2019 and it was very delicious. Today was a totally different experience. First, I ordered 3 sandwiches for my 2 friends and me. I was told she would bring them outside where we were sitting. After 30 minutes,I finally went in to check and the sandwiches were all sitting on the counter I take out boxes. 3 iced vanilla lattes were also sitting there. When I told her that I was told they would bring the food and drinks out, I was ignored. Then to top it off, the bread was very stale, the turkey was very cheap Deli Turkey, there was a very thin layer of cream cheese and an even thinner layer of cranberry sauce. The menu stated all sandwiches came with bagel chips. There were none. Such a disappointment!!!

As both a customer and a grubhub driver it does not matter if you have already placed your order or not, you stand in the same long line as everyone else there is no quick pick up. Additionally there is no disabled parking, the staff and manager refuse to make any modifications for their disabled customers whatso ever,, such as quick pick up, or even place holder in line... Despite your order being ready sitting on the counter. No matter how good the food is if a place does not treat people well I will not go back…

I understand inflation and that businesses need to raise prices ($2.70 to $3.25 for a bagel now) to keep up with rising labor costs, but...there was hardly any cream cheese on my bagel. Im hoping that this was a one time incident because next time I will have to inspect my food and buy more cream cheese if needed.

Daily Bagel - WHAT has happened to you?! You were (now past tense) my favorite bagel go-to. But a recent purchase of a cheese bagel and a bag of bagel chips means Im finding another bagel source. The bagel chips werent chips they were chunks and worse yet were stale. The cheese bagel? Hard enough to use as a hockey puck, also stale, with exactly 6 tiny cheese shreds, I suppose the minimum amount to be able to actually call it a cheese bagel. What has happened to the actually chewable bagels with a generous coating of cheese? What happened to your previously perfect bagel chips? Sorry Daily Bagel but Im shopping elsewhere from here on out.

Unbelievably rude cashier had the deadpan crudeness of a badly written comic book character, and literally threw a bag of bagels at me when I asked about my order (after 17 minutes). From the get-go she acted as if it was the most irritating thing on Earth to take my order, despite my warm (masked) hello when stepping up to the counter.During a pandemic it’s important to have patience with service people - absolutely. But when you ask for six bagels in a bag, and it takes damn near 20 minutes for 3 employees on a slow morning to accomplish the task, you know something is wrong. When the register-attending employee repeatedly treats you like garbage in front of others, they get a detailed public review of the experience. Here it is.Truly wish the bagels were worth the hassle. Had never been here before, most certainly never will again.

While our car was getting checked out across the road we walked here for breakfast and espresso drinks. It is a nice place with good wifi that serves bagels, bagel sandwiches and coffee drinks. My wife had the Bagel Melt along with her mocha and found it quite good. I had an Eggs, Cheese and Bacon bagel hot breakfast along with my latte and also enjoyed it. The little cookies that came with them were a nice touch. The people were nice and it was a good place to hang out waiting to hear about our car. We would go back.

Order for my crew all the time but last time the bagels were undercooked, very pale and chewy. emailed the daily bagel and the only reply I got was “appreciate for the feedback”.

Awful, just awful.I asked for light cream cheese amount on my bagels. And for them to be lightly toasted. Instead they burt all of the bagels. How disappointing..this place used to be good. Very sad. I order six bagels and all.of them were burt.

They get our order correct about 1/5 times. We don’t order anything complicated, yet most times they mess up on our order. Its very frustrating when this happens regularly. They also run out of bagels very quickly so best to go earlier in the morning.

Warm, cheesy, and melty. Those are a few words that Id use to describe the food at Daily Bagel. Nestled away among the apartments and car dealerships off Goodpasture Island Rd., this particular bagel shop has been around for quite some time (and for good reason too!) The food is reasonably priced, with most dishes coming in at under five to ten dollars a pop. Portions are regular sized, hot, and taste delicious! They also serve smoothies, which arent too shabby, and have coffee options. The staff is polite, though they always seem to be busy, which makes sense due to the high foot traffic and popularity. Like every other bagel deli, they have a wide assortment of different flavors and bulk buy discounts if youre on the go. Decent cream cheese selection to boot! All in all, this place is worth the eats if youre having a hankering for some good old fashioned bagely-goodness. 3/5 stars.

Do NOT order delivery / online. Daily Bagel has great food. But if you order online through a service, and they happen not to have an item that you order, they just make up their own mind about what to give you instead. They dont call, they dont do anything. I ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and 2 bagels for my family. The order showed up with just 2 bagels. When I called, they said, Oh we are out of cinnamon rolls so we just refunded that. Had they called to let me know that they couldnt complete my order, I would have cancelled my order. Now I have half and order and still have to order more food and hour later. Another example: one time they didnt have part of my order, so instead they sent me 2 cookies instead! I didnt ask for cookies, did not want and couldnt eat the cookies, so I had to fight for a refund. Other restaurants will CALL when they cannot complete an order and ask you what you want to do. Not this place. So I cant order from them anymore, and you shouldnt either.

I asked for light cream cheese, they gave me none, then I called to tell them and the employee actually agrued with me. So, the sandwich was awful but more than that, I shall take my business to Bagel Sphere. Much better sandwiches, much better service.

You would expect a Cashew Chicken sandwich to have cashews right? Not a single piece in the entire thing. I’m not in the habit of inspecting my food before I drive away but I guess that’s what you have to do.

This is the second time I have ordered through GH for daily bagel and the order was 80-100% wrong. The last time the whole order was wrong and that was my coffee and kids drinks this time I ordered 3 drinks which were all completely wrong and 2 sandwiches and 1 bagel the 1 bagel was wrong and only half a bagel AND the two sandwiches are soggy which is impressive considering they only have bacon and egg on them. I call the Daily Bagel and the boy I talked to claimed he made all those things for me and that they were right which is complete insanity because I DO NOT drink hot drinks EVER and I have my order right in front of me NO HOT DRINKS and they were all hot! including my kids smoothies were hot drinks! and he offered nothing, no help did not offer to redo the order just told me to contact GH then basically hung up on me. Completely disgusted especially today. Happy Mothers Day!

We are in the united states of America, where the US currency is the dollar.Yet they wont take anything above a $20 bill.So frustrating. Ordered my meal ahead of time, and wasnt even able to get it.As a business you should keep enough in the till to take whatever US currency comes your way.

Super friendly people behind the counter, great prices, large portions, and really good food all make for a great place to visit. There was plenty of outside seating options as well.

Asked for the bagels for here but got them to go. Also took a long time to get the toasted badges. Coffee was almost drink by the time the bagels turned up. My wife had the hot bagel melt and was in love. I had the peanut butter bagel -- as one of the more closer to vegan options -- and it was okay.

Ordered everything toasted w/plain cream cheese, everything toasted w/butter and a modified egg&sausage bagel sandwich. All were terrific and fresh. Good coffee too. Friendly service.

Wow, very recommended, from the fresh delicious bagels and their own cream cheese blends, I had the artichoke, parmesan and garlic, and the coffee!! It was a delicious treat for my mouth, start to the very last bite!

I ordered from here for the first time with Postmates and it was delicious! They added these cute little freshly baked cookies in my bag which was very nice of them. Will be ordering my breakfast here more often!

My husband and I were visiting Eugene and chose to get a couple bagels here. We ordered online - an Asiago bagel and a marbled rye. When I went in to pick up the order, there were 5 employees at the counter and not one of them acknowledged me standing there until I said something. Not a smile, not a hello. Then when I got my order, I was disappointed to see the marbled rye wasn’t actually a bagel, it was just a thin piece of toast. Their website listed marbled rye under the bagel choices. And the Asiago bagel was dense and dry. Won’t be back.

Great local place, good authentic style bagels.... And all the gang that work there pretty awesome!

The food was very good, however, the service is not as good especially when they are busy. Our order was taken by someone else. When asked about our order after waiting for a bit we were told they had to redo the order. After waiting again the order was still not being made, had to repeat again what we ordered. Finally after waiting maybe 30 minutes we were able to enjoy a breakfast. In my opinion the calling out process of each order could be less confusing if a persons name was used instead of calling out the order itself(some orders sound similar)

I love their bagels, but Ive ordered take out from them twice recently and both times the sandwiches were missing half of the ingredients, and they were mixed up. They have disconnected their phone line, while the email is available and they do have a a person who responds.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They are so kind and they are always quick to have orders ready! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

The new store is fantastic. Great fresh bagel, sandwiches, smoothies and coffee. Their staff is so friendly and really helpful. You need to stop by and try it out. I won’t get my bagels from anywhere else.

Daily Bagel is very close to my home and very convenient, however they sell out of popular varieties of bagels by 9:30am and then never refill or make more. And time and again they will have batches of bagels that sit there filling sales space and dont sell. Ive had better luck getting bagels I like from the local grocery, where there is variety and plenty of stock. I wont be going back.UPDATE: A relative of mine offered to buy bagels for breakfast. We had no idea they were from the Daily Bagel until we asked later. My spouse took a bite from one of their bagels and there was a piece of blue plastic in it. Naturally, this resulted in getting sick after finding a foreign object in the food. My relatives complained and promptly never heard from the Daily Bagel again. No explanation. No apology. No thank you.

Im a repeat customer and have never had such bad customer service here. Yesterday I paid for a breakfast sandwich and a chai to be delivered, but only a sandwich came. By the time it was delivered the store was closed so I called them this morning to tell them what happened. I was treated as if I was lying because the worker on the phone wasnt there yesterday and they said I guess Ill have to take your word for it To which I politely replied that I had my receipts. Needless to say if Im going to be treated like this over a damn chai I think Ill take my business elsewhere.

Great smoothly, done improperly: To be fair, this is a popular bagel joint in the area and Im coming in at breakfast time. It looks as though they were fairly busy this morning. Choose to drop by for a different breakfast before a quick stint at work. Asked for no whipped cream by the young man at the counter (was orange, mango, strawberry and yogurt), yet the lady who made my drink didnt get the memo apparently. I kindly asked for it to be removed and she did a great job at that :-) Would have been a 5 star experience otherwise!

Been going here for years and will never get tired of the bagel options! They also have amazing coffee and smoothies! Always friendly service and fresh food and juices always available!

The bagels are decent at this location and I appreciate that they do not egg wash. I have used them for many breakfast-catered events that I have coordinated. I put in my order via phone the day before and it has always been ready at the time I have requested it. I also enjoy the quiet outdoor seating area that is available there onsite.

Absolutely fantastic! My fiancé and I have been coming here regularly for the past 4 years. We love the staff and owner, the food and the coffee. Perfect spot for breakfast and lunch. And to any naysayers, please dont come back: that place is packed as it is--no room for negativity :)

Great bagels, good meal selections and great staff.

Food is always good but the service is consistently terrible. Every time I walk in the people behind the counter just stare awkwardly and never say a word, they seem impatient and annoyed when you order and they literally won’t even say goodbye to you. It’s so uncomfortable to go in there but I love the food and it’s so close to work so I just deal. I’m not asking for a parade when I walk in but at least acknowledge you have customers and maybe treat them a little nicely.

My wife and I love coming to this place for our weekly bagel and coffee date. Delicious food and awesome coffee! The best neighborhood bagel shop.

Leaving a review for the 545 E 8th Ave. location. I was SO excited that they moved in to this location, and I still love their bagels but boy do they lack customer service. Ive been in twice - the first time theyd only been open a short time so I chalked it up to a new location working out the kinks. Went in today and youd think that the employees are forced to be there or something. No eye contact, very little interaction, and both looked angry/maybe hungover. My bagel was barely toasted, my latte had no flavor (I asked if they could add some and they did - much appreciated), and my coworker had to microwave her drink when we got to the office because it was lukewarm.Really hoping this location can pull it together. Ive always loved the original location and had at least decent customer service there. Giving it another month before I try again.

Don’t postmate these people, one of my items was missing, the other didn’t have the additional add ons I requested and paid for. Frank the supervisor on shift in the AM on Saturday said they where the middle man and couldn’t do anything about it. I should’ve taken a pic of the bagels I did receive. Overall not worth it.

Hardly any lox on sandwich. Tomatoes that are unripe and hard when we live in a community with ripe, organic tomatoes readily available. Over $17 for two sandwiches with barely any lox and green green tomatoes. Im done visiting this store. Dont bother going.

Bagels are fresh with many choices to pick from. Good sandwich and coffee selections as well. Service is pleasant and quick. Sometimes finding parking can be a challenge.

I dropped in this afternoon to get a coffee for me and a hot chocolate for my youngest. The place was in desperate need of a good cleaning -- most of the tables were dirty, the counter by the cash register was covered in crumbs, and the floor was well on its way to filthy status. I can understand if the staff are slammed by a rush of customers and just havent had time to clean up yet, but there were only a handful of customers in the place (only two tables were occupied) and several employees appeared to be just wandering around trying to look busy without actually doing any work.If thats the care they put into maintaining the public area of their establishment, Id hate to see the condition of the back areas.

Usually a wait so not a place to go if your in a hurry and the bagel sandwiches (pulled pork or burgers) are not very good, the pulled pork had like a pinch of pork... Not even enough to cover the bottom of the bagel and its 7 or 8 bucks... Bagels and coffee are great and staff are always nice but stick to the drinks and bagels. Also they have incredibly good cream cheese w multiple flavors

Friendly and good food! Had plain bagel with roasted tomato cream cheese. Filling and yummy. Good comfortable atmosphere.

I base my review on 4-5 visits to this place. Overall, the food is not bad and the use the fresh ingredients but the service is ALWAYS awful. The over the counter girls just dont listen or have a problem with understanding (Im just judging from my own experience). The last time I was there they somehow managed to screw a simple order three(!!!) times which says about either inexperience or something worse. They are also not friendly at all. I would suggest the owner of the place to instruct them accordingly, so they can just do their job. I live nearby but I have a hard feeling from the last visit, so Im not even sure if I want to visit that place anymore. Once again - VERY RUDE STUFF!!!

Such a great place to go for a breakfast bagel, and fortunately for me they serve them all day! The bagels are fantastic and its a great place to relax for a breakfast sandwich and coffee.

Daily Bagel is my usual Sat and Sun morning stop while walking my dog because their coffee and delicious bagels. Their recently expanded lunch menu has made it my weekday lunch stop as well.

Outdoor sitting is nice. Bagels are fresh. They get there very very early to get us the best bagels!

This was my first time there and it will probably be my last, which is a shame as its within walking distance from my work :PThe food: The food is excellent! my bagel sandwich was toasted to perfection with the heavenliest of ingredients used. It was pure bliss in my mouth.The service: The service was crappy. I showed up at about 2:45pm, and they close at 4pm. It looked like they were already getting ready to close up and were annoyed with me wanting a sandwich. I (and another customer) stood at the counter while an employee swept the floor. I assumed that someone else would be out to help us....nope. When the employee decided she was at a stopping point of sweeping (which felt like a good 1-2 minutes after we were standing at the counter) she walked over and took my order. I paid with my debit card and when I didnt write in a tip she gave me this look like are you kidding me? Whatever, Ill get over it.I wait for my sandwich and it just gets tossed up on the glass counter when its finished....no heres your sandwich or thank, have a nice day. I walk up, grab it and look her right in the eyes and say Thank you and I dont even get a reply. She just looks away and starts making the other sandwich.Like I said, its a shame. It would have made a great daily lunch place and the food was amazing. But Im just simply fed up with spending my hard earned money at places that treat me like crap.

Been coming here for a few years-- because I love the lox cream cheese. However, in recent visits, the service has been even slower (which I thought was not possible) and they are starting to skimp on the cream cheese. Last visit, I walked in as the employee was counting money, apparently she could not stop to take my order, so I had to wait. She did not wash her hands. I placed my order, used the bathroom, and still waited 5-7 minutes at the counter for my bagel (which was seriously lacking cream cheese). If they had any competition this place might close. Employees have one speed- SLOW.

The food was very good, and it was ready quickly. The young woman who took our order was very nice!

Why do I keep going back to a place that has very low quality food and very high prices? ONLY because of its location. Not very many choices in the Good Pasture Island area. New ownership greedy and stingy. So disappointing.

Good bagels. The only problems with this place is its location. First, it is hard to find and the area it is in is a bit difficult to navigate in & our of. This place is hidden from the streets close to it.

They used to have decent service, clean tabels, and good atmoshpere. In the last few months service has declined, the tables are always left dirty after a customer has left. This morning we were getting breakfast and all the tables were dirty, me and my wife had to clean one for somewhere to sit. The employees were having a conversation behind counter, several of them were not working and saw and did nothing to clean the other tables. Time before that they messed up several of the people before us orders, stumbled through ours and had trouble even giving us proper change. Over all we will probably not be returning customers, and very sad one of our favorite places declined so much.

Food is good but if they have default mandatory tip (you can decide not to tip ), you should clean up the tables more often. They are gross...crumbs all over the floor..

Wow its amazing

The bagels are good, smoothies are nothing special, and coffee is nothing better than I could get at a 7-11. Most annoying is the lack of good customer service. I ordered a bagel focaccia sandwich to go. The menu states: Topping choices include Swiss, mozzarella, cheddar, tomato, mushroom, bell pepper, onion, olives, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon and bacon. I told them that I wanted tomato, mushroom, bell pepper, and bacon on my sandwich. Upon arriving home I discovered that my sandwich was covered in Swiss cheese. I took the sandwich back to get a new one, and they refused to make me a new sandwich because it was my error. I dont believe I ever said I wanted ANY type of cheese on my sandwich, let alone Swiss. I will not be back.

Went here once and had a pretty good experience. The second time, not so much: We asked for our bagels to be extra toasted and it seemed as if they hadn’t been toasted at all. The bagels themselves actually tasted stale. Customer service wasn’t good. And finally, the coffee was also disappointing. Probably won’t be returning.

I LOVE their food. Absolutely superb!! BUT, the people working here are so rude! I keep stupidly coming back because I love the food, but then remember--I have to deal with the rude people!

This place is really hit or miss.Sometimes they are friendly, sometimes they act like your mere existence is an inconvenience to them.Sometimes the food is great, sometimes the sausage on my sausage, egg, and cheese bagel is freezing cold like it just came out of the fridge.One thing that is consistent is they put a little tiny, warm, melty chocolate chip cookie on top of my bagel in the togo box... because you know what goes great with sausage, egg and cheese? Melted chocolate oozing all over it! I wish they wouldn’t do that and I ask them to please hold the cookie, but again, it’s really a flip of the coin whether or not I will be having chocolate on my onion bagel today. ;)
