This shop is fantastic. The owner is knowledgeable, and the care they take is impressive. Ill definitely use their boatyard for all of my future needs while in Oregon. The prices are also fair, and they discuss everything in detail without acting like your questions are dumb. Theres also a cute office dog, and who doesnt love that?

I stopped in looking for a boat, found a little old ODay I liked so I bought it. Scott is a good guy, seems to above and beyond to help in the sailing community. If youre looking for a boat or advice Scott is the person to talk to.

Excuses ranged from: Its raining, to Im too busy and Call me again next week. This is one of the businesses Ill review as I guess they dont like money?!Tried multiple times over a 2 month period to look at 2 boats (Catalina 27s) they had for sale for around $6k. The owner was never willing to meet me to look at the boats for reasons mentioned. Ended up buying the exact same model boat from someone private party for $8k. It was a nice boat! Used it for 6 months as planned, resold myself for $6,800.He also had trailers I was interested in which unfortunately ended in the exact same story. He was rude at times, telling me he doesnt have time to Talk this much when he was the one asking me to keep calling him back to see if it was a good time?!Hesitant to ever try again with this guy. Waste of time.

One of the only places to get boat work and parts. Not the greatest selection, but the prices are great. Scott really cares about the sailing scene and is a real mover and shaker. The only problem I have is the owner, Scott, smokes in the shop.

Under Way LLC provides top notch service to sailors in and beyond Lane County. Scott is always ready to help with any problem. Most recently, when we blew out a jib sheet on Friday night, Scott met me at his shop Saturday afternoon and shortly we were on the lake again enjoying a beautiful evening sail with new jib sheets. They have launched and pulled our Catalina 27 for the last 6 or 7 years and helped with all sorts of rigging and outboard motor problems. Scott also rents sailboats, stand up paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, etc from Orchard Point. Its a great company and I highly recommend that you check it out. Give Scott a call for anything you need for your sailboat or if you are thinking of buying or renting a sailboat.
