An upscale family thrift store with friendly and helpful people. I enjoyed the casual environment and broad range of styles in merchandise. Would recommend this store to a friend or family member. Was very pleased with my purchase. Thanks again and I will return soon for more great deals and service. -Ted Y.
The past few times Ive been in, Ive had rather negligent service. I usually stop by with a bag of my own to bring things home in, so, Im used to stopping at the counter to drop it off. But, these past times, Ive had to wait several minutes to both drop off my things and pick them back up. No one was out on the floor when I arrived.Later on, when I was looking at clothes, I noticed that there was someone waiting to make a purchase and heard the employees chatting and laughing in the employee-only section. The person at the counter waited for a few minutes before someone finally came out to help them. The employees also werent paying attention to who entered and exited the store, shouting hello when someone left.Decent selection overall, prices are okay. Your money is going back to the community, though, as with any other SVDP store. Theres some benefit to shopping here, but the staff soured my experience.
Wide variety of nicer higher end items. Their organization is of good quality. Its easy to find and go through items. There is a large selection of very very old books at this location usually also.
I was shocked by the high prices in this thrift store, and the cashier Victoria completely offended me when I presented a $15 voucher but I had more than $15 worth of items. She looked at me and said you know you have more than $15 stuff here and you have to pay the difference right?I replied that I was quite well aware that I would have a balance due and I was quite able to pay the difference. Then I told her to never underestimate a customer in her store. I might have spent more but her comment was really unnecessary. I definitely will NOT spend another dime at St. Vinnys.
Ive been recently down on my luck and was needing a pair of socks for work. Ive been wairing the same socks for weeks. I told the lady id give her the little bit of change I had left. But she says she couldnt give away (Donated) clothes. Even no id give her the little bit of change I had. 1$ for 1 pair of donated free socks seemed really overpriceded. And the way she was talking was shes running a for profit place and wasnt there to help the community.
The mens clothing section is pretty rough if youre not looking for screen tees or blue jeans. The prices are a bit much in relation to the quality. The St Vincent just north of there is much better.Lower rating for having to leave a bag at the counter. God forbid a hobo takes a coat.
Worst vinnies of all. Ridiculously overpriced and terrible selection. 8$ for a used UofO tshirt, yeah right
Such cute clothes!! The people were kinda weird ngl... I got a cute thrifting haul for cheap
You cant tell who the employee is and who the customer is. You have to look all over the store for someone to help you. Both employees I dealt with, had absolutely NO personality! I got the impression that they did NOT want to be there.
Great stuff. Fun shopping trip. Prices are great!
Theres some really nice stuff, but $400 for a used couch, nope, thats ridiculous. some of the clothes are also overpriced... disappointing. the staff seemed a little frazzled and not very friendly either 😬
Nice selection and quality of items. Men’s selection was particularly good.
Its a nice looking store but their prices seem a little high for a thrift store.
The only place i can truly afford to shop.. and i love it
Needed backpacks for few things and found two perfect bags that fit exactly everything I had but maybe a bit pricey as it was a second hand store and staffs were helpful and nice!
They are easy to access and they always have fabulously cute and unique clothes and shoes
Kind staff, Good selection of designer wear for Men and women, Great costume jewelry section. Fair to good prices.
The selection, fair pricing, and good cause makes for great shopping.
Clean, organized, and nice service what more do you need?
Great clothing selection but kind of pricey
Its mostly clothing, shoes, and accessories but its a small store so theres not as much selection as the other locations. Hardly any larger sizes for men or women and no childrens items.
Most of the clothing is from someones Grandmas closet. Couldnt find chic here.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! $34.99 for some torn, faded old Tripp pants. Everything was overpriced. Just go to the goodwill honestly.
Shirt marked .99 cents, took to the counter to buy and Kathy told me the shirt was actually 11.99. Feeling duped.
Prices on everything I looked at were ridiculously high for a used clothing store. Staff was friendly, though not very helpful.
They are really friendly and lots of good deals.
OVER PRICED!!! So much for helping the less fortunate
Good selection and nice employees right in downtown.
Good shop with a unique collection of clothes.
Not a great selection here. I expected more from a thrift shop in Eugene.
Way over priced 75% of new
Love the place and the staff is always nice
Etremely picked through and limited selection. They treat every customer like thief. Not a fan.
Lots of original styles at oak st St.Vinnies
Okay clothing selection but not the low prices I would expect at a thrift store.
Very scarce on available items, not a nonprofit organization.
Way over priced
My favorite St. Vinnys in Eugene
Just got some camo
Dismal selection, in a rough part of downtown.
A bit pricey on items
Spendy
Priced kinda high for used stuff
Over priced items
