Mike is the best amp tech in the state. He does an excellent job diagnosing, and getting to the source of the problem. He gives it to you straight, at a very fair price. We are lucky to have him in this area. Cool, honest guy with some great knowledge to learn from.

As others have noted Mike is the best - he has encyclopedic knowledge of audio gear like amps, pedals, keyboards - and puts that to great use in repairing all that stuff. With attention to detail thats hard to match, very reasonable pricing, and a great guy to just talk with, hes the go-to guy in Lane County for repairs. Ive been using him for 20 years and always been satisfied. If he says it will be done by Friday - you can count on that, which can be unusual in these service businesses.Highly recommended.He doesnt accept credit or debit cards, so either bring a checkbook or cash.

Mike has worked on many of my amps and most recently on my old 1950s Wurlitzer and the results are always excellent. 30 seconds of conversation with him is enough to know that A. hes a nice personable guy and B. he knows more about audio electronics than you will ever know, or want to! Thankfully hes very good at describing complex concepts in such a way that even I can understand whats going on and hes always careful to explain and justify any additional expenditures that may be necessary for any repairs. Highest recommendation!

Best dude for vintage and esoteric amps and pedals. The dude knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable, super nice and shares a lot of knowledge without condescending to you.I brought in my Marshall Valvestate 65 and he was already aware of the common problem with the reverb tanks in those amps. Asked me when I needed it fixed by, and did the job two days before I needed it. Professional, competent, and quality service all around. Definitely one of the best guys for amps possibly in the state.Dealing with substandard service from lutheirs in corvallis has made appreciate this store a lot more. Definitely worth the hour drive and I would recommend twisted wires to anyone in the area. Not that he needs any more bussiness 😂😂. (You will know what I mean when you walk into his store)
