Itโs not possible to give zero stars; so Iโll settle with one. I decided to get a new sectional, I found the one I wanted on the Rent A Center website. I spoke with Sarah who ordered it for me. A month goes by and I still hadnt heard anything. Meanwhile, a friend ordered a couch set from the same place and got his furniture within a week ๐คจ I called spoke to Sarah(again) she states that they just received a shipment so she would call me right back after she checks. Three hours go by, no call. So I call again. This time I get Jerry, (I believe she is the manager) she tells me that when special ordering the furniture has your name on it, so my furniture was in fact there. She was just inputting it into the computer. A few moments later Sarah calls back, to make this part short I end up accommodating to them and go in the store to sign paperwork. While there I pay over $60.00 for the special order and the first payment set a deliver dated for the next Friday between two and four. That day comes and no furniture. I call in, Jerry answered the phone. I let her know I had a delivery scheduled but have not heard or seen anything. She says โ let me check what is going onโ came back then said โ Iโm sorry my driver called in sick today and we missed your name on the listโ First of all if the driver called in sick, why didnโt you just say that instead of putting me on hold and checking on it.. I donโt appreciate being lied to. Then Jerry says โlets get you a new delivery dateโ I explain that a new date isnโt going to work for me because my grandpa fell ill, so we were leaving town and I wasnโt sure when we would be back. I scheduled leaving around the delivery date of my furniture. I also explained that I was not comfortable paying for something thatโs not in my possession (understandably). Jerry goes on to tell me how special ordering works and that she had the same sectional I ordered in stock but it wasnt the one with my name on it but she is willing to give it to me. I try explaining to her that she and Sarah told me, my furniture was in, also that I had already paid for the first month. Jerry cut me off in the middle of my sentence, raises her voice, then tells me I dont understand how the special ordering works. I tell her that I get how it works but I do not need her to be flat out rude when I have been calm the entire time but understandably irritated. She cuts me off, again and continues to tell me I donโt understand how it works and she is just trying to explain it to me. By this time Iโm furious. I tell her how incredibly rude she is being then I said โ I am aware of how it works, what Iโm asking you is, if the sectional I was supposed to have delivered to me isnโt mine, and the one you ordered is not mine... then what did I pay for?โ Her response was โwho did you talk to when you paidโ I said โ you.โShe puts me on hold, comes back with a completely changed attitude and says โ Iโm sorry we misspelled your name in our system, letโs get you a new delivery dateโ By this time Iโve had enough, so I tell her that Iโm not comfortable doing business with them if this is how they treat people. I understand that people get sick, and the misspelling of names happens all the time. That is completely understandable. What is not okay is being down right rude to someone, when itโs 110% of the businessโs fault. She apologizes reiterates that she is short staffed, then asks me if I could pick up the furniture myself. I then tell her that by saying Iโm not comfortable doing business with them, I no longer want the sectional they have and that Ill be going into the store to get my refund. She tells me that shes not able to issue that refund because of the way the system works. I tell her โ I dont have the product, therefore, its never been in my possession and Im not paying for it, so Ill be in to get my money backโ Eventually, she works out a way to get my money back to me.If you like being belittled and treated unmannerly this is the place for you! ๐๐ป
Always had great service and Gerri the manager is very helpful with knowing your needs and finding the right product and a price you can afford! Also 90 days cash price !!!
Ive had nothing but good service here with Carlos, hes very helpful and professional. The other office staff need work with customer service and accuracy. Carlos is always willing to solve problems and give the best deals(Keep in mind I only buy for the same as cash price). The intrest on the rent to own prices are not worth it for me. I also have experienced some continuous calls in the past regarding payments and rude attitudes over the phone with other employees. But nothing too bad like in the other reviews I read. I was out of town one week and they called my work I was super irritated with this. Carlos always seems to want to be helpful and doesnt seem to tolerate it. He advises me to let him know if I experience and unpleasant interactions with his staff so he can solve it. I would reccomend them most definitely if you plan on doing the same as cash price. Any issue Ive had with new or used furniture has always been acknowledged and compensated for.

Terrible. The two who delivered my couch ended up gouging the drywall and wood moulding all the way up the stairs. I ended up having to tell them to stop and go back down and take off the legs/feet of the couch (which they should have done to begin with) and try again before they made it worse. They never apologized for the damage done to the wall and one delivery guy even had the audacity to be rude to me. I tried to talk to the manager Carlos about the situation and to show him pictures of the damage, but he wouldnt even begin to reason with me or listen to what I had to say and Insisted that I call corporateThe couch which WAS used also came with a great amount of dog hair and food inside of the crevices which my wife and I ended up cleaning ourselves.The only clean part about the couch was the outside which looked to be simply wiped down.The whole situation is just a giant lack consideration and respect for other peoples homes. I will never be coming back here again, PERIOD.
Horrible Business to work with !! They block my delivery entrance. Harbor homeless urinating and dedicating on their premises and do not clean it up a simple fence would remedy this - Corporate just files another ticket - sad they want nothing to do with bettering the city they are located in

I had an agreement for washer & dryer & they completely totaled my floors. POOORLY trained STAFF!! My husband even showed them how to use the straps the carry in their truck... both employees haaad nooo clue on how to use those

These people will straight up harass you and tell everyone your business. Their own policy states no more than 1 phone call. We dont harass the customer. and yet if I wasnt in when they wanted me to be THE DAY MY BILL WAS DUE I would get upwards of a dozen calls. Even when I would pay early online you nest believe they called the day I wouldve paid my bill normally. One day while I was out running errands, to pay them was included, my neighbors called me and told me that they pounded on their door looking for me and told them I was late and needed to pay my bill! It was due that day! One time their driver showed up and told me his boss told him he had to break into someones house and he did it! I even called the corporate office and they told me nothing this store was doing or had done was OK at all and yet nothing changed. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! GO TO AARONS!! They are much better and nicer and will work with you!

Awesome service, great deals too when you do the 90 same as cash option. Usually $20 down and I get my item delivered the same day.I see people complaining about phone calls. They dont usually call you unless youve missed a payment. I am also on their do not call list, it is an option.I got my TV (Sony Bravia) there for $500 less than the sale price at Costco.

Still struggling with the payment situation. Having to pay hundreds more than we should. One man called and freaked out on us for late payment, when we paid it 3 days prior!!! Not only did we pay it, but we had made a double payment to try to get ahead a little. When we told him to just come get the washer and drier, he freaked out even more, swearing and yelling that he was not coming to the reservation to get it!! There is one woman that is nice on the phone and very professional. I like to deal with her only. I have used the web site to do my payments and they have messed up on each occasion!! I will not be doing business with them again!!
This place is literally ran by Eureka finest CRACKHEADS. Iโve never been late on a bill and paid everything on time I ordered furniture 8 weeks ago and had to pay a deposit twice for some items. They delivered a used dishwasher that I did not want it was full of dog hair and Macaroni an cheese. So I had them take the dishwasher and stove back stove was brand new but was not the one I ordered. They also delivered the wrong table but I decided to keep it. They never call to let me know whatโs going on with the rest of my furniture that I paid for they only call the morning my bill is due to make sure Iโm coming to pay it. Every 10th of the month my phone is ringing as soon as they open because Iโm probably there biggest customer and itโs sad the people that run this place. Rob the sore manger is always behind he doesnโt even return my calls when Iโm asking are you still deliverying today and then they donโt even show up or call to say hey we arenโt coming today even tho we already scheduled but your stuff still isnโt here yet. I have never been so disappointed in a company I have had rent a center all over the country an I have never had as many problems as I do with this place.
Have good deals if you do the 90days same as cash deal! Otherwise you will be paying hundreds to thousands of dollars more than the value of your merchandise. The company doesnt send out monthly bills or send an invoice of how much you have left to owe. They will continue to call you 2-6 times a day until you make your payment and will call all your references and harass them too lol make sure to pay on time the will literally stalk you down!

We rented a refrigerator when our old one died and we were waiting for our new one to arrive. All of our dealings from rental, to delivery, to pick up were friendly and professional. We couldnt believe how easy and inxpensive this option turned out to be!
