Verizon has been my cell provider for 20 years and the service has been very good. Up here in Humboldt County they dont yet have 5G and you are limited in terms of data usage in 4G, and coverage is not what it is in other populated parts of California. So a star off for that. But the service in the local store is very good, although the selection is limited compared to what you find in larger cities. And they sell many 5G phones for big dollars, but that service is years away from being here.

NO WAITING.. I used the kiosk to pay my bill in cash (machine does not give change) round up to next dollar. It was user friendly if youre trying to pay past due it will allow just keep moving forward on screen will split for the amount you are trying to pay. It was so EASY.

Poor service .... This is not only a dig on the store but verizon a company they are unwilling to help understand or work with problems. Verizon is only around to take your money and help those with money they dont offer help solutions or customer care they are there for you to buy phones and THAT IS IT. Ive never had a helpful employee or manager except when I was there to buy my phone that I hate and service that is ok at best.... not worth it at all go to us cellular....

Showed up at 5:25 pm and was refused service when I asked for a new phone. The store was empty and the employee was rude; refusing to help me saying, that they only can pay bills from 5:30 to close and I couldn’t purchase a new phone (after driving 45- hour). Went back to the car and ordered online. This place sucks avoid if you can or until they hire proper staff. Apparently the new hours of 10am-6pm is too strenuous for their employees and they need to get clock out ASAP. Great work Verizon.-e

The store staff was helpful and friendly. Due to Covid entry to the store is monitored and controlled. We only had a 5 minute wait. Our tech had our phone fixed in 15 minutes. No hassles at all!! Great service!!

Are not helpful anymore. Each time I go ot becomes more and more automated. Hubby got a new phone but they wouldnt help him set it up. They said he had to make another appointment to do so. One person seemed to care, but the young lady we got the phone from did not even say thanks. Bummer. Use to be very friendly and helpful.

Disclosure, that i ONLY put 5 stars up there because the men and women that keep verizon going on in there are super nice, always very helpful and knowledgeable of most jf not all things wireless. although, often i find they dont have what Im looking for... which is weird but whatever. I blame verizon, they USED to be the best, now they are snarky voices on the phone or they just hang up on you. Not our folks there at 1122 Broadway Eureka California though. They will take good care of you, better care if that subpar, cant keep their stock value steady verizon would kick down the goods. Thank you Men and Women for your efforts, if not for you. Id have nothing to do with that lackadaisical waste of wires and optics werizon... i got your best coverage

Very bad customer service. Ive been a customer for many years yet they still just brushed me off without resolving my issue. I spent hours on the phone trying to solve an issue with no success, was directed by them to physicall store, only to be brushed off with no resolution to the issue. Happy not to work with them again.

The store and staff are good and nice, but Verizon service up here blows. IaI was on at&t, I could stream anything, anytime, anywhere. I switched and Im so regretting it. Some days are ok, other days I cant even pull up a webpage, definitely no streaming on those days. Some parts of town never work at all. So bummed Im stuck in this contract

I broke my phone and went in to replace it and was greeted at the door and quickly helped out by a guy named Paul, he was very polite and very noligable about all the deferent phones capabilities and quickly pointed me in the direction I needed to go, he called me a couple days later to make sure the phone was serving me right !! They couldnt help me, but were nice and attentive at least once they got to working with you. About a 20 minute wait though.Edit - went back to switch my plan and the guy who helped us was excellent! Engaging customer service and theyre really willing to try and help you if they can. Still a bit of a wait but theres plenty of stuff to look at and browse while youre waiting. Itd be great if they had chargers readily available, but they offer them to use if you ask.

Some of the staff are so kind and friendly. I do have to say it took forever for me to get my promotion credit and my free Google home mini. 3+ visits to the store to get the ball rolling. I never had an issue with it before. This time I had to make sure both the store and the admin. were able to execute the issue. Took me over 3 pay periods to get it issued. That is what the sale rep. told me it would take to get the credit. Yet, my mini took just about the same to receive finally by mail. Guess from now on I have to do the walking...

Very disappointed with the service at this location. I checked in with the rep and told him I wanted to speak with someone about my data plan being insufficient. He logged me in and I waited 10 minutes to be assisted. I explained I keep getting overage charges and I need a new plan. He asked me for my ID. I obliged. Then he told me no, they dont help with service plans. I asked if he could help me understand the data saver function. No, they are not tech support either. Very unprofessional, as the male floor reps were more interested in their Bitcoin discussion than asking a couple questions upon check-in. They could have easily informed me at that time I would need to call support. Useless procedure. Lazy reps. Shop online and call support for real assistance.

I’ve had Verizon service on iPhones since the first iPhone was available on their network. The service in Humboldt County was always the best. Now it is the worst. I have a family plan and iPhone XS, an IPhone X, and an IPhone 8. The service is a joke now. Texts don’t deliver, calls constantly dropped, and don’t even bother with the data speeds. Can’t even open most pages now. Constantly have to turn the phone off and on again. Putting it in airplane mode and on again doesn’t work. The phone has to be turned off and on again. Garbage service. Fix your network. Or maybe AT&T will finally surpass you. As far as I’m concerned your company has breached our contract. When I cancel I will not be paying any cancellation fees. You have shut down local towers willow creek is one.Update: Called Verizon *611 as recommended. Explained the issue our county is having. I was asked if I can provide some land for them to place a tower. 🤣 I said, that’s their job to figure out not mine. What a joke.

They had what I needed. It was the main manager who helped me. He not only got what I needed. He helped me put on a glass shield on my phone. But didnt take the time to make sure he got it on straight, so its slightly crooked. If he would have taken his time then I would have given 5 stars. I understand having a lot of customers but when it comes to doing the job right do it right! I spent $39.99 for it should have just done it myself could have done better job! Oh Well lesson learned!!

It usually takes a long time to complete a transaction (purchase, upgrade, etc.) and there is often a wait before they even get to you. However, the customer service has always been great. The long wait times are likely because staff is willing to take their time answering your questions. Ive watched them upgrade people to their first smart phones and walk them through every step.I always do a lot of research before upgrading (read reviews, watch videos, look at comparisons, etc) but I still have questions. Staff has always patient, even when Ive struggled to make a decision about something as silly as the color of the case I want.

I have trouble empathizing with the employees here. I know its Eureka and you deal with a lot of weird customers, but thats no reason to be so smug. Ive been here multiple times over the past two years and Ive dealt with multiple employees at this location. You guys need to climb down from your sanctimony pony and be nice to your customers.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I walked in fully expecting to buy a phone, and was treated so poorly- questions going unanswered or answered vaguely, brushed off with a smattering of arrogance and malcontent I entered in a good mood and left feeling completely written off. Went in to Verizion store get iWatch5 and iPhone 11pro. Not to busy on a Sunday afternoon. Kevin was our Solutions Specialist. He was knowledgeable and efficient at his job. I was trading in an old iwatch and he was able to get everything sorted out and get us a great credit. The color my husband wanted for iwatch wasn’t in stock so it will be delivered in 2 days. The iPhone is available the 16th. Really happy with Verizon and Kevin. Our receipt was easy to read and understand. Follow up emails are great also. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was just in the Verizon store to buy a iPhone 6, for my husband and I we were told that we could not upgrade our phones until our contracts ran out even though our phones were eligible. I was so mad at the sales associate Nick and the manager Jenn for their snarky attitude towards us we left. Came home and called the Verizon 800 number and guess what I got, 2 new iPhones with all the discounts the store is offering and I was treated with respect and I felt like the gal I talked to listened to me. I was on the phone for 20 minutes and got all of my needs met. I was in the store 45 minutes and walked out mad.

Tldr Deceptive, chronic problems, polite sales staff, very few other options available.Verizon relies on its monopolistic position and has been overall slow or unresponsive addressing issues. Consider US Cellular?We have 12 lines (business and personal) and have an issue with Verizon EVERY month. Watch out especially for deceptive up-selling or add-ons : No one at this store is ever actually doing you any favors. They lack simplified paper descriptions of plans or deals - theyll have you sign an electronic contract so make sure to check your next bill very closely. We can almost guarantee you are being charged at least $10 extra per month, likely more, for some special feature you dont want or need. We have had consistently poor service for years. Often we have the same issues repeatedly or across multiple accounts. Avoid Verizon if you have any other option.Very few carriers cover Humboldt, especially rural Humboldt. US Cellular has good local coverage, but lacks the national presence. We are always considering a way to be rid Verizon.The sales people are extremely polite and are quite accustomed to disgruntled customers. Beware that you are not being placated with additional up-selling.Best advice if you do use Verizon: Check your bill carefully and think carefully before accepting whatever additional upgrade they are pushing on you. And keep an eye on them.

When dialogue on my cell phone said I did not have enough memory for updates, I drove 45 minutes from Trinidad to Eureka for help, since I had received Verizon assistance over the phone week previously and my cell phone was again not working properly. When I arrived at the Verizon office I was assigned a tech who took my phone and did a few corrections in approximately 4 minutes and handed me my phone and said it was fixed. Today, next day, I am having the same problems with my phone. I called the number listed on the local Verizon office web page and was switched to a remote tech (not the local office). Again, same issues: unable to suggest or correct the problems with my cell phone. I am thinking the only solution is to find a new carrier.
