Upon entry, store was a little smaller than expected, but they make up to it with a variety of fresh breads and pastries as well as seasonal goodies. Couldnt help but take a bite of some sourdough as I got into my vehicle-- it smelled too good to wait!

So this week the county relaxed mask rules. If you are vaccinated you dont have to wear one. So unwittingly we walked into this store unmasked. Like 5 stores we went into. And by the way, I am fine with masks. So a simple I am sorry go get your masks would have worked. I picked up items and turned the corner to face being loudly reprimanded to get out if I didnt have a mask. She was so rude we walked to car and drove away. I can pay full price for the bread and not be abused at regular store.. I will give this a miss.

Love this place! Here’s why:A loaf of organic multigrain bread for less than half the regular Safeway price & at least $2 less than Winco’s, friendly & helpful people, fresh & clean store, & a big reusable shopping bag for my haul. I go once a month on my way back to Eureka from Arcata. Freeze most of it and we’re set for a month. They have every type of bread I used to buy at the grocery store, plus some I hadn’t heard of. Sweet treats too, from other baking companies (including my favorite macaroons!), and even some other yummy local products if you need a quick meal. You owe it to your food budget to check it out!

Some of the nicest folk Ive met, and you may find it hard to leave without armfuls of bread. Highly discounted as the source, with an occasional bargain rack and wall, and for certain purchases you may get more free bread. They also carry other products such as cookies and pastries, seasonings and spices, jellies, and even soups.If you or someone you know is facing certain struggles, this might be a great place to supplement sustenance.

They rock!! I special ordered low carb bread and buns and they called me when it came in fresh off the truck!!! Super nice people and excellent bargains!!!!

Good deals on fresh bread, doughnuts, condiments and beef jerky. Large parking lot, but scary getting back on to the freeway. You have to cross the freeway to drive North. You have to cross the freeway from the Northbound lane if youre driving from Eureka to the bakery.

On Friday May 3rd 2019, along with other bread products, I bought a loaf of Organic 100% Whole Wheat bread with sell by date of May 09. When opened on Monday May 6, green mold was found growing on it and it was thrown out. When I called to let them know about this I was told they would replace it. I’m giving a one star review because they had no interest in knowing what type of bread this was, what the sell by date was or how long I had it before it went bad. Seems like they should be more concerned about such complaints and want to know if there is a pattern. Update: Changed from one star to three. I returned several days later. They replaced the moldy bread. They explained that the organic bread doesn’t have any preservatives and is thus more easily gets moldy if too moist when packaged.

Love this place. We come here every time were in Eureka. I get my 6 mos (we live in Ceres) worth of quality, healthy, wide ranging breads and other baked goodies. Great deals. Love the gals that work there. Always working to get more product on shelves as were snagging them off. They keep well in the freezer. Pull a loaf out. Leave on counter to thaw. BOOM, fresh bread again. Yumm.

Every time i come in the wonderful smell of fresh baked goods is always wafting in the air and i love their selection of jams and gravies and they have a little perk point system and lots of deals on fresh bread that make me always happy to come back! plus the workers there are always nice even as busy as they are :)
