The employees know next to nothing about the merchandise, they barely know which way to point when asked where something is located. Its definitely not their fault, they dont get paid enough to know anything more than how to smile. Every employee Ive ever dealt with was very nice and did the best they could with the training and resources theyre given. Walmart clearly under appreciates their employees and doesnt care enough about the customer to give their employees anything more than bare minimum in training. I feel awful anytime I shop there and try to shop locally whenever possible. Unfortunately some times the only option you have is Walmart & when that happens it really sux!

Theres 3 people here who are awesome and will do everything they can to help you. The rest (theres alot more employees) well lets say need to be retrained or fired. Also they are constantly sold out of items. Target is the spot in Humboldt.

Wasnt my favorite shopping experience bc I didnt really like its layout, however Ms. Mary in the fishing department was so nice & knowledgeable & accommodating. Thanks for your assistance with the jump starter & the cables started my olgirl right up!

Got there on shelf stocking night lots of empty shelves they quit selling cigarettes but still sell liquor and beer and wine. If you are looking for Humboldt county monopoly game they have a lot of them. Still a good place to shop but better if you find out what night they stick shelves and go the next day.

Customer service was really wonderful. Then trying to find an associate for a bike part?? But overall so friendly, helpful, and then i didnt have a screen to watch as my purchases were being made. Ugh

Been my go-to place for trading cards as our LCS is not getting the shipments they are ordering. You just gotta keep stopping by to if they have any stock. Once they do, you gotta be very nice and patient to the staff as trading cards are behind a locked case and they have a hard time getting that case unlocked if their regular customer s are taking their attention. Be courteous and kind and they will help.

Representatives were courteous and helpful. This store is small compared to most Walmaets so I cant always get what I want. However, on todays trip that had everything in stocks I wanted to buy.

I always feel like a criminal when I shop here. So many things locked in cases. Pet supplies, underwear, sewing supplies... Really? Plus No one is ever around to unlock it. Sheesh!

Worst walmart Ive been too, they dont have much in stock and there service is horrible. Dont get me started on only 2 cashiers out of 5. Been here 4 times and nothing changes except me going somewhere else.

Well I can’t say this was the usual happy shopping experience I have come to expect at Walmart. It is more like a satellite store…and such small selections which are unusual for the large chain.They were out of many products and lots of items were behind lock and key so we had to wait to get help to shop under the glass items for UNDERWEAR! Very very different and a bit confusing…Sad to say but l actually avoided this store for the remainder of my Eureka stay.

This store is good to me from shopping to cashing checks. Food, Kids toys, clothes and more. This is a good store for budget electronics and charging cables from the ONN. brand

2 stars cause its fun to watch the tweekers there.

The store is relatively clean and well stocked. The bathrooms are always clean. My only issues are: there are hardly any cashiers ever and the self checkout doesnt take cash(??). Also the parking lot is scary af at night with all the tweakers and weirdos hanging out and panhandling car to car. I literally had a man walking around with a piece of sharp metal approach my car (and any others with people in them). Idk what he wanted because I rolled my windows up and locked my doors. Is there any way you can get more security at night??

This place is easiest to BOOST from....if youre respectable about it and quick......dont linger longer for your stank to stink up the place feemee

Attacked inside the store and the workers never helped me. Disabled senior citizens are not safe inside Walmart. I cant walk today because of the attack. How do you ask for security and they never came. The store Moto is a safe shopping place. Its far from safe!

Tiny excuse of a Walmart. Not much choice in product. The cashiers are slow and the staff is rude and not very knowledgeable. The only saving grace was the older lady cashiering in sporting goods. Her knowledge of products and willingness to help went above and beyond. Not to mention she had numerous customers, was running to unlock paint and tool cabinets, was fielding customer questions and answering the phones and ask the white she somehow managed to keep everyone in line smiling and checked them out at a decent pace. That lady deserves a raise!

Needed to do a little late night shopping on Monday and came around10:20. They’re supposed to be open until 11. Half the lights were off and the lady was rude and rushed me when I tried to ask for help. When I went through the self check out a man approached me and asked how I planned to pay for my items. Um idk, money?? Really a terrible experience. I could understand if it was 5 minutes until closing but not 40 minutes before they close. Really subpar staff.

Smaller version than what they have in a big city. Much less variety of products but still seem to have a little bit of everything. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly much more so than Im used to in other cities.

Stopped in today to Walmart Eureka. Sunday September 12th 1:30 pm while heading to Klamath CA. The place was packed, 4 checkers ! waited in line for more than 25 minutes. Finally got to our male checker on #8, slow as snails chewing gum with his mask below his nose,as we bought some things under lock and key, Associate that unlocked glass cabinet had to bring them up to line #8 so that was our only choice for Check out line. I’m talking about underwear, socks, under lock and key! Never seen anything like this. I’ll stick with my Walmart in Sonoma county from now on. This was absolutely insane!!! They need more checkers and more associates that walk around with keys to all the lock up isles. This store manager needs to learn to write a proper weekend schedule

I always enjoy finding better prices here than their competitors. Good selection, well stocked. Clean facility & helpful employees. The only thing is the customer service / returns department only stays open till 8pm. (Three hours earlier than store closing time).

This walmart does not have produce or large selection of fridge items like other walmarts. Best time to go is morning or evenings. Clean and friendly staff, this is also attached to the mall and has an entrance.

Not good. Went in to buy emergency clothes til our luggage arrived and was taken aback by how many items were under lock and key. Interestingly enough the underwear, which too were locked up, were different sizes in the same package. >< Who does that?

The Walmart closest to Weaverville cant find turkeys theyll look at a bar a basket full of our items Im not talking no one you carry on your arm good morning bush and asked me if I was actually going to purchase items out of the locked doors for the Fruit of the Loom for the third month in a row I had to go to the coast to find a properly stocked store with people who have worked more than 71 hours well I go tour Shasta to do Walmart no!

Eurekas Walmart is just sad. Empty racks... no variety of anything ... shelves so badly positioned & poorly stocked that I couldnt reach the one item I needed. And there were no associates anywhere in that department or even nearby. Associates looked unhappy to be there ... even the greeters. The city was so happy when the store opened a few years ago, but its practically a ghost town within a mostly empty mall. I hope they find a way to resurrect it soon or it could end up just one more empty building. 😐

Its an addition to the Mall, it isnt a mega-walmart, so it lacks some of what its Redding counterpart keeps in stock. You can get most of what youd expect but you may need to find other businesses for larger or specialty items. The crew working there have been pretty friendly, even in dealing with current times.Beside the store, theres beach and trail access across the parking lot. It doesnt look it on arrival but there are some sights if you need a break before or after shopping.

I usually avoid shopping at Wal-Mart for political reasons. But Good Rx had a prescription too low in price to ignore. One other thing that is no small detail--there was no line, instant service!

WalMart is one of my first to go to for almost everything. The company can definitely afford to give a little More to their employees sucks that they go threw many great employees.

Walmart definitely has some characters in there but has everything simple you might need. I filled up my apartment with household items from there and everything looks good and was cheap.. will be back but be prepared and dont be surprised at the people you see in there.

The worst store weve been too yet. The store is small and cluttered. Hard to find anything plus they were limited on grocery products (no fresh meats, limited amount of produce).

This is the smallest Walmart AND they dont keep their shelves stocked. There is absolutely no reason to go here.

Samoa cookhouse they have good food and the service is very nice and friendly to visit.

I dont understand why we dont have more Walmart stores up here. There is a huge supply and demand problem. The shelves are often bare, lines are ridiculously long, and its painfully obvious that employees and customers hate being here.

I went to the check out in hygiene area. The lady working register seemed miffed that i wanted to check out there. It was so busy. Why only 1 counter open in front besides self check out. Every time i go here theres only one check out counter open, WHY???? Service sucks for that reason..... Otherwise its okay here. Where are all the slippers????? Its cold out. ...
