Small little quiky mart....definitely locals are the main types of customers thatre had here due to the location and size. Also theres no big neon sign indicating its whereabouts. Hot pockets and bomb burritos are sold here, with the ability to cook such items as well cause they gotta microwave inside. This store is really a piece of history . Its been there for a long a**time which is pretty cool:) support your local mom&pop shops....newer big corporations are the devil!

Convenient when you arent able to get to a bigger market. Decent variety of alcohol & tobacco products. The owner is really friendly and helpful, older fellow with snow white hair.

Priorietor is very nice and engaging. Notwithstanding the considerable law enforcement presence directly across the street, beware when you park, and upon your approach from your vehicle to and from this establishment, as several assaults and robberies have occurred even in plain daylight along the street beside this store.Other than that, this is more than just a liquor store, with many of the corner market amenities that comprise the makings of a neighborhood destination within walking distance for residents of the area for common grocery items and sundries.The store is well stocked with daily consumable products and food stuffs to mitigate the need to visit a full blown grocery store in between those regularly scheduled visits to the supermarket.

A variety of products with a nice staff. ONLY issue is the homeless. They stand begging right outside the door

If youre desperate for booze and junk food, this is your place downtown. They also have some convenience products like cleaning supplys, and frozen food. The center isle is reserved for impulse purchases of Skittles and Mars Bars. Colas in the back so you have to walk past all those tempting treats to get it on a hot day. Cheers!

Mr. Marshall is a blessing to earth 🌎. Hes the older caucasian man with the limp. Hes very understanding and a great start to any morning as his super positive responses encourage the fire and drive to anyone. Id recommend stopping by and saying hi to everyone in the area. Hes a good friend and I give him my upmost respect. Hes the one person I am thankful I crossed paths with.

So I didnt buy anything here, but I did get lost and had a panic attack. I saw the market light on, went in, and the shop keeper was a super nice old man who helped me so much, he called a patrol car for me. I cannot thank him enough! A really nice and friendly place in Eureka!

The only convenience store in Old Town that Im aware of. The staff is nice enough but the clientele that was in there when I was there was sketchy at best. A woman was lamenting and dumping her purse out on the ground sitting on the floor and whining while I was shopping. Its a liquor store across from a county jail. Its safe, but not for the faint of heart

Ive been not coming here at 7 years for cigarettes so I dont get carded by any of the staff except by the young daughter ( I believe ) -- of the the two immigrant-americans which worked behind the counter.

Ok, Ill admit that they have a large selection of basic convenient items, but I am not a fan of their service. First of all, though this may not be their fault, they attract many homeless people and panhandlers. However, the other night, I was walking from my bus stop then I walked in to the store and asked the man behind the counter if they had a bathroom. He said no and told me to use the bathroom at the bar next door. I was still gonna buy a snack and then he grudgingly said, have a nice night. That is not how you treat customers. Plus, the sign on the bar next door said no public restroom and no one under 21 allowed. He gave me false information and didnt take into account the fact that I may not even be 21 yet. May never return.

Friendly service from a nice old man that has a little bit of everything. The prices are a little on the higher end but worth the convenience

A small convenience store with lots of selections in walking distance.

Its okay, but in a dangerous location. If you need something quick, and have no where near by to go, make this a last resort option.

Prices are too high. Service sucks. They sell cigarettes for food stamps on a favoritism basis. Marshall has sexually harassed women. I just dont like this place a lot. And the scratchers lose a lot.

Good convienence store, right across the street from the Humboldt County Courthouse and jail, nice employees, sometimes an unsavory crowd But good over all.
