I was having a problem with my new phone and had no clue how to fix it. I walked into this store and was approached by this nice young man named Brian. Brian was very swift in helping me solve my issue and he was very knowledgeable. Overall I’m very happy with the experience and customer service provided at this store. I feel safe and comfortable now that I know can come back here and get great service. Thank you to Brian and Verizon! Great job

I came in with an old phone with a failing touchscreen and she spent a lot of time with me, helping me to transfer information from the old phone to the new. She worked with me to find the least expensive cell deal. She spent time teaching me new features of my new phone. This woman deserves a promotion! I had the most excellent retail experience of my entire life. All thanks to the wonderful and patient woman named Tyler at the downtown Evanston Verizon next to the Pottbellys. I was greeted with warm welcomes and a happy atmosphere. I then went on to explain my issues with my broken phone and she offered me much needed information about services, phone plans and upgrades. I got exactly what I needed for an amazing price and in a timely matter. Her fantastic multitasking and attentive skills put me at awe, as she was dealing with me and two other customers. Would highly recommend coming in and finding new phones and plans with this amazing young woman.

I have an iphone X, which Ive had for several years, and I use Verizon as my service provider. Recently, for some reason, I stopped receiving my email on the phone. Despite asking knowledgeable friends to correct the problem, I could not access my email. On a whim I stopped in at this verizon store and the only employee on duty Tyler solved the problem in less than five minutes. Kudos to Tyler! Excellent service and attitude. Will definitely go back if shes sitting at the desk.

I walked away with a new cell phone however with all of my things on it! AMAZING. I didnt feel rushed or pressured into anything. Everything was perfect!!!!
Our first visit was very good - the manager (I think) was very well versed on various phones and had a lot of good advice on what to consider in a new phone - value vs price. When we came back to purchase, the employee in the store at the time was not knowledgeable or helpful. Beware of purchasing from a non-corporate Verizon store. Verizon will not honor price guarantees unless you purchase directly from them on-line or through a Verizon-owned store (even though Verizon in either case charges for the phone in monthly installments over a two-year period).

Josh the manager told me different things every time I came in. When I asked to speak to his supervisor he told me no!? After going into the store 4 times I gave up and went to a different location and they fixed my issue easily.
Horrible management. Horrible service. Manager does not have test SIM card, cant sell you contract and does not have basic knowledge.I tried to get a contract. Manager said without even looking, that my iPhone is not supported by Verizon. After I insisted that he checks, he did took my SSN and run the credit, said it cant process it for unknown reason and gave me application number so even if I go to another store sale is his.I went to different store and my iPhone 6S Plus from att runs just fine, since it does support Verizon frequencies. Every iPhone 6S/Plus does for sure!Interesting is how this store has only 5 and 1 star reviews. Go figure about 5 stars.
Tried to return my recalled Galaxy Note 7 here today. The clerk said that if it hasnt blown up yet, it probably wont, and sent me on my way. Not so reassuring, especially since I got a text from Verizon 2 hours later saying that I need to stop using the device immediately.

The clerk doesnt seem to know what he is talking about, giving me false information about a new releasing phone (I searched what he said later online, and it was not true). I brought my own phone to open a line, and the clerk said I probably cant use it and he cant even check whether its compatible before I open an account. Guess what, I could easily check it on Verizon website without an account. Only thing he does is trying so desperately to sell me services and new phones that Im not interested. I had a chance to visit all the other stores of major carriers in Evanston (ATT, T-Mobile, and Sprint), and this is by far the worst.

I never write reviews, ever. So take it seriously when I say that this was the WORST and most UNHELPFUL retail experience I have EVER had, in ANY business. The opening store hours are listed both online and on the FRONT DOOR of the business as 9 AM. I arrive at 9:30, and the door is locked and no one is inside. I wait until 10, figuring maybe something happened to make the opening later. Young guy walks up at 10:08, unlocks the door and strolls in without even acknowledging me waiting by the door (several people had come and gone, trying to get in, since I had been there). I walk in behind him, and ask him if they usually open at nine monday through friday, he goes Nah. I explain the issue with my phone to him, he doesnt understand me and makes me repeat myself several times (he speaks English and is an american, so its not a language barrier issue, its just a competence issue). He asks me if I looked my phone up on the internet because maybe my issue is normal. I explain to him that no, its not normal, because I have looked it up. He had no idea what my phone was (despite them selling it there) and kept referring to how his OWN phone works (which is of an entirely different make). He was completely incompetent and unable to help me, and didnt even so much as smile or be polite. I left there, sat in my car, and called another verizon wireless store who was able to help me in a matter of minutes over the phone. While sitting in my car, I saw him leave the store, and just walk down the street. I never saw him go back into the store. For all I know, he locked up and several other customers are now sh** out of luck. Would NOT recommend going to this store, until management makes some SERIOUS changes.
