I’m a 60 year old Caucasian male with coarse, curly facial hair. I’ve been using electric shavers my entire adult life. Only certain brands give me a close comfortable shave.My Remington “Black Man’s Electric Shaver” died. I figured, OK I will buy the same thing to replace, as it’s pretty old.Turns out, they don’t make it anymore. I did some internet research and could not find a replacement electric razor that had consistent good reviews for guys like me.Mike, owner of Shaver Shop of Evanston to the rescue. Note; three other mall based shaver shops that I used over the last 40 years had all closed.Mike had to source three different vendors to find replacement batteries that could be soldered to my razor’s motherboard.
