I waited 45 minutes trying to find out what paint colors are available for a specific line of paint and got bounced back and forth between 2 employees who would just keep telling me to talk to the other person. I never ended up finding an answer. Save yourself a headache and go to Sherwin Williams, the customer service is much better.

Ive been coming here for over 30 years and it would usually be a 5 star review had I taken it before my last experience where the order wasnt delivered and I had to track it down, then it was incomplete. Eventually it was all sorted out and Im still a big fan

The guy who is at the front counter is very knowledgeable. The paints were made extremely fast wow then Latino chemists back there can work, party but quality is something to die for. I already have seen what they can do but today Im giving them commemoration for the excellent work that they do. 13 cans of paint on a flag and six of them were unexpected changes to orders. God speed to them all. Great business.

As a former contractor, I can assure you Benjamin Moore paints and stains are superior and that this locations staff has the most paint knowledge in our area. Store is clean, organized and its an easy in and out experience.

I love Benjamin Moore paint and like most of the JC Licht locations, but the Evanston one is overwhelmed and not very helpful. Takes a long time to get service and they have issues getting my orders right or in a reasonable time.

Staff was busy but made time for a Contractor in a hurry.

They sell top quality paint at full retail prices. They were helpful and pointed me to a board where a number of different contractors were listed. I think this place focuses on sales to contractors.

I am a JC Licht/Epco regular. I have run a small painting business for 30 years. The guys at JC Licht are the best. Great service, dependable color mixing, and they get me in and out if the store in a timely manner.Tony the manager is top notch. His staff is the best around. Always a good experience at Evanston JC Licht.

I called and asked for wallpaper ... Then asked who do you recommend install what Im buying?Answer: its against company policy for us to recommend that.What??? Thats amazing. $30 / yard and I guess I have to put it up myself.

Only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is Tony stepping in after Frank was short, unhelpful and couldnt talk anymore (his words) after I had the audacity to ask 1 or 2 questions ... would rather paint my cement the wrong color than deal with these guys again.
