I had no trouble finding what I needed. The store is organized. The service was nice, friendly and quick. This Dollar General store is easy to get to and large parking area. Very visible. Parking for handicap. Next to a Subway Sandwich Shop if youre hungry. Ollies Bargain Barn across the street with other shopping stores. There is a Meat Shop about 1block South. A library. The Dollar General store offers great prices and great choices! I buy a lot of household needs here, as well as, toiletries. Very reasonable prices! I always buy greeting cards at Dollar General stores. You cant beat the price and they are very nice, thoughtful cards for every occasion. Equal to the bigger card stores.

I liked it here because they didnt let people wait in line for very long if you know anything about the Dollar generals around here thats always a big question but I liked it the employees there were really nice

This is a pretty good place to shop. You get your Dollar General Store M prices and deals. It is conveniently located and has easy access. The only downside I have experienced on my visits is the store is ALWAYS in a state of stocking merchandise. This could be seen as a good thing too. It stresses me to shop where the aisles are blocked by carts of merchandise waiting to be put on the shelves. I will still shop this location but only for quick purchases. If the location gets more organized I will shop more often.

Honestly, I do not understand how this DG is still in business. There is always long wait times in the lines, and rarely do they have more than one person at the registers, but then find other workers playing on their phones hiding behind fixtures. There shouldnt be 10+ people in line, with three people staffed, especially with the pandemic going on. They have a sign stating that masks are required, but then allow people in without them, whilst theyre coughing all over the place. DISRESPECTFUL. Phone line is always busy, and never have they ever ANSWERED! This DG has been the same for years, which honestly, makes this unacceptable. How can an establishment continuously hire individuals that simply rather be on their phones then do their jobs---or clean?WORST DG IN EVANSVILLE!

They used to have a 6 pack of caned dog food, but now they dont and the single cans are now $1.00. Prices done went up.

Very busy store, checkout takes longer than usual most days...mostly due to understaffing. Large store and often well stocked.

Dollar General is usually pretty decent... but since COVID-19 the storeS have all had shelves that are just empty. SOLD OUT. People on a budget for the first time I suppose... I don’t think it’s DG’s fault at all. If anything they are giving us bottom line prices when everyone else is raising their prices. DOLLAR GENERAL, I SALUTE YOU!🙋🏻‍♂️

I shop here regularly and like the place. Only complaint is they are overstocked and cant go through aisles to get to things. Hope there isnt a fire could be hazardous.

North park needs to really clean up always a mess I go out a my way down to diamond av e store .just friendly and much much more comfortable atmusfear.and a more better managed store.and 8m thankful for them to I seem to always see working if no no at register 0n diamond they stock or price or clean.north park brings kids in to work t re adding them Trashing the store.

Usually not the best prices. The line to checkout is always very long. The store is usually hard to move around in, due to lack of space. Many times they are out of stock in multiple items. It is always very messy and cluttered. Great for quick stops and convenience, but dread going there.

Great place. Recent remodled had to look at everything. Wish Pollack and Greenriver looked this good and clean.

This was a really large and nice store. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. The problem was they only had one woman in the store working register. She had no help. Shelves were empty of many items. It was evident that it was time to restock but with one person thats obviously impossible. The sales clerk was a very nice lady but I dont see how she was managing by herself. I gave it to three stars because the shelves were so empty..

This store was the WORST Dollar General in Evansville. It was an ABSOLUTE mess. The employees were very rude and acted as if you were bothering them. The dollar store on Barker Avenue is 50 times the store this is. There needs to be something done by a district manager about this store. The Barker Ave store employees and manager are so friendly and helpful. I will NEVER go back to this store.

Very slow service, rude cashier particularly the cashier on 9-18-2017 at 10:19am. My father, who is an older gentleman on a walker, parked in the handicapped spot right in front of the door, sent me in to purchase one pack of Marlboro Light cigarettes. I did not have my ID with me so I needed to step outside the door to get his. She then told me if its his id he has to come in with an EXTREMELY POOR attitude. I got to the door and motioned for him but I stopped him when I respondents how much of an attitude she had. Im sorry but the man is 87years old, on a walker, and I a m 48 years old myself. Now she could have taken 2 seconds to look out the front door and watch me get his id. I decided Im NOT going to make him get out of the van and come in just for that, ESPECIALLY with her attitude. I told her never mind just put them back and we then went to Edco. You may not think this amounts to much right now, but trust me, it most certainly will. My father, as well as myself, USED to be very good customers since this location was in my neighborhood. In spite of the fact that the store is always a mess, boxes everywhere in the way, and you have to stand in line and wait for a cashier to finally make it up there. Neither one of us will ever be back. Plus my father has a tendency to tell others of all his bad experiences with local businesses. Oh, although I did get the cashiers name, she has short, dark, curly hair and running the register at 10:19 am on 9-18-2017. Have a nice day.

Had to run in quick for some snacks for a birthday party & was able to get in &out easily & without having to break the bank.

I like dollar general because its so much cheaper to shop there. And if you use the digital coupon app you can save quite a bit plus its convenient.

Always packed and only have 1 register open. Or no one on register and I always gotta go find someone to ring me up. And the store is always a complete mess!

Its dirty, unorganized and poor management. Only ever one person working. Manager always seems to be in a meeting. At least thats what the employees say. I refuse to go in this store anymore and whomever is the owner, needs to get their stuff together.
