Very good small store, once i walked in and looked around i knew i would be leaving with something. The prices are spot on especially on tools from custom makers like Bearkat and Jeff Hamilton. The place also has planes you can test and hock blades. Over all i had a great experience and would recommend to anyone in the area or driving through.

Bought a couple hundred dollars worth of tools from Bill a while ago. He shipped fast. One of the chisels in the purchase was ground poorly and it was lobsided. It was a 20 something dollar chisel. When I noticed it and contacted customer service, Bill told me that I could send it back for a replacement and would have to pay shipping both ways. He claimed it was a cheap chisel and it was normal. He advised me to spend more on chisels if I didn’t like the ones I bought when I told him it wasn’t normal.Lee Valley is the way to go. Years of great customer service from them.

Scott is awesome! If you are able to go to the storefront, its fantastic being able to actually try out many of the tools. Im a hobbyist and he was very patient with me, going over all the pros and cons between the tools so I was able to get what I really needed. I am excited to continue increasing my skills so I can justify getting more high quality tools from him.

Bill, the proprietor, is very knowledgeable about woodworking tools, techniques and solutions. He is dedicated to provide a much needed environment where hand tools can be inspected, tried and experienced prior to purchasing. I value this very much as most woodworking hand tools are once in a lifetime buys and I hate to have to buy something to then find out it doesnt fit or do what I expected.Bill is sincere in wanting me to find what I want/need as much or more than he wants a sale. Ive been a patron since he opened his store and have never regretted it.
