Customer service here is god awful, employees have no clue what they are doing unless they are checking you out for buying a defective mattress. Highly recommend taking your money elsewhere.

I went there on New Years Day to find a certain item for my bedroom. I was so glad they were open cause a lot of stores were closed. The sales associate was so nice and helpful found exactly what I needed in less than 10 minutes. Great customer service great experience highly recommend them.

She was very knowledgeable and helped us find the mattress that fit our requirements within our budget. Not to many good sales

The salesperson that took care of me was quite possibly the friendliest guy I could have imagined running into yesterday. A genuinely happy guy. Your company is lucky to have a fella standing behind the counter in an empty store on a Saturday, with his shift likely coming to a close, that will treat people the way this man treated me. Not only was I satisfied with his knowledge and understanding of the product, I was more taken aback by his kindness. This is the kind of treatment that creates return business. I hope he’s there when I come back for a mattress.

After searching high and low and trying to get the most for our money, my husband and I had such a wonderful experience at American Mattress. The salesman, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable about the products in his store and was very courteous and professional. We have since bought 2 other mattresses from him and couldnt be happier. I would recommend this store to anyone really trying to get quality service with a quality product.

Very good prices! There was absolutely no sales pressure. My mattress was delivered when they said it would be and everything went seamlessly. The sales manager, Mike Kelly, and the Regional Manager, Jimmy G., were both professional and empathetic, and they helped me pick the right mattress for me! I have been shopping around for a new bed for awhile now and I realized I needed to sleep like an angel on a fluffy cloud. So I went to a few stores in the area, which of none were able to meet my needs. All the salesmen were just trying to get me to buy the most expensive bed they had. Finally I found American Mattress!!! As soon as I walked in the salesman Anthony Vitale was very friendly and let me look around without the hassle. When I finally found a couple beds I was interested in, Anthony was able to answer all of my questions, very knowledgeable! I ended up purchasing a super pillow top at a great price and I could not be happier. You Rock Anthony!

On November 1, 2015 I went to The American Mattress Store at 2839 W. 95th Street Evergreen Park, Illinois 60805. I went inside the store where I was greeted by Sales Manager Mike Kelly. Mike asked me if I knew what I was looking for and I said yes I knew that I wanted a mattress set and I knew what size. Mike also asked if I had ever been to The American Mattress store before and how long it has been since I bought a mattress set. He explained to me that mattress sets have change since the last time I bought a mattress set. Since I told him what I was looking for he had me try three different mattresses. Mike had some suggestions to help pick a mattress and told me to take my time and come back multiple times if I need to because picking a mattress set is very important . I decided on a mattress set and Mike also suggested a bed frame and he also asked if I needed pillows . The mattress set that I picked was exactly how much I thought it was going to be because I did some research on the mattress set before I went to the store. I wanted the mattress set to last for awhile so I didnt mind paying the price for a quality mattress set. My mattress set was delivered the next day with no problems and it was even delivered earlier then the time frame that I was given. Mike called me a week later to make sure the delivery went okay and to see if I was having any problems with my mattress set. Mike told me when I was in the store that American Mattress Store has a 30 day trail period which means that if I dont like the mattress set that I bought or changed my mind about the mattress set I can come back and exchange Mike also told me the mattress set comes with a 10 year warranty, but if a stain gets on the mattress then the warranty is void so he suggested that I buy a mattress protector and I did. I had a very wonderful experience at The American Mattress Store. Mike Kelly was very polite and friendly knew how to do his job and he even sent me thank you card from the store with a hand written note inside. Mike treated me very well and made sure that I knew that if I am having any problems to give him a call. When I get very great customer service I remember. I would recommend this store to people I know looking for a mattress. I love my bed and I have not had any problems yet. The delivery men were polite and friendly they set up my frame to my headboard and put the mattress set up quickly and they even brought my mattress protector and put it on the mattress for me. They took away my old mattress set for me and my delivery and set up was for free.

Horrible experience and poor business standards from the company owners. This place lies to its customers and employees. They tell you your item will be delivered in 3-4 weeks because they need to order it and 4 months worth of lies later, the customer is canceling their order because it still hasnt come. They also find any reason to void your warranty which is ironic since its used as a selling point. Higher prices than competition.
