Dr. Chung is such an amazing optometrist! I came to her for a second opinion and she immediately corrected my Rx and fit me into a better contact lens. She is such a personable and bubbly provider!Her staff, especially Alba, was kind and very knowledgeable. This was my first time here and they had all the answers I needed from pricing to insurance coverage and more! I highly recommend Dr. Chung and her staff!

I got my glasses from here about 2 or 3 years ago! Love them! They have been the sturdiest pair I’ve bought in about 25 years of glasses wearing. The service was incredible! I was helped by Alba who was incredibly patient, gave me options and helped me narrow it down, wasn’t pushy, and helped me get the best deal! Anytime I’ve been in the store since (to tighten or loosen... I move around a lot for work), they’re cordial, incredibly helpful and efficient! I will certainly be looking for my next pair there when I’m ready to freshen up my look!

If you need someone who is caring and understanding she’s the person to ask for. She helped me with picking out my glasses and was really helpful through the entire process from start to finish. I love going to Visionworks optical. They have the best eyeglasses and contact lenses in the store. During my annual check up the Optician is very accommodating and really takes time to explain my visual situation. The entire staff is very helpful and provides remarkable customer service particularly dealing with their Store Manager- Alba Alvarez. I am always satisfied and very happy with her excellent service.

Zina was very friendly and helpful with showing me the different kind of frames. Super cool as well. Doctor was amazing and the store was very neat. Finally found my home 💪🏽

The doctors are great, but the front desk staff doesnt represent them well. My order was wrong and although I received a notification for pick-up, the order should have been validated upon receipt and the error should have been communicated to me prior to visiting - I came in just to be told it would take up to another 2 weeks with no options to expedite the process. When I came to pick up my order, the sales floor was exceptionally messy with open boxes laying around with shipment/supplies with no team member present on the floor for several moments. Not cool.

Dr. Bose is very compassionate about her career and is beyond helpful. She dedicates quality time with her patients and makes sure you leave the exam room with no questions. All in all, I would recommend Dr. Bose to anyone who wants help with glasses/wants an annual eye exam. Very satisfied and will return in the future!

Dr. Chung is wonderful! She is very knowledgable and is willing to do research and take the time to make sure that the decisions she makes for/with her patients are the best ones. She is kind and patient and is always happy to answer any questions I have and put everything into words that I understand. I dont regularly write reviews, but Dr. Chung is a great optometrist that I wholeheartedly recommend.

First of all their scheduling are overlapping. I wait for 30 minutes. Maybe its busy or they are short in staff. Then they forced us to pay for digital test which was not even discussed during our check up. The doctor seems to be on the rush because there are more patients lined up outside. I doubt the accuracy of their refraction so I will go for second opinion. This is not a cheap place but they treat people like youre in charity ward.

Folks there were friendly, Dr. Chung was SUPER nice and fun to chat with, and she was able to help answer questions as we were doing the exam.I believe the reason that some folks may view the other staff as unfriendly is because English isnt their first language afaik, and honestly, making small talk in a second language is HARD. Theyre doing their jobs just fine as-is, and even without much small talk, they were able to answer questions and were very very patient with me being indecisive with what I wanted for my lenses.Overall, the experience here was pleasant, and Id come back if given the chance to.

I was in and out so quickly. I didnt have an appointment, Alba took me in as a walk in. I was happy she was able to squeeze me in right away. Alba and Dr. Chung were both so friendly, knowledgeable and so understanding of my needs. I am appreciative of their service.

These ladies are fantastic! Such a pleasant and efficient team. I booked my appointment online this morning, was in and out in 60 minutes. Full exam and I picked up glasses. I would definitely recommend this particular location!!!

Great service, Zina was very helpful. The glasses my daughter wanted werent there on the shelves, and she searched around the entire store. When she didnt find them, she offered her condolences, and told us to come see her if we found a new pair to purchase. If not, she would ship them in! Very helpful, very friendly, and an all around great experience.

I’ve been going to this location for years and the service is always great. They have knowledgeable employees and wide selections of glasses to pick from. They work with most, if not all insurance and the process is super easy. Highly recommended!

Dr. Chung was AWESOME and answered all my questions and did a through job. The ladies in the eye glass dept. were not very friendly or helpful at all. They woman that helped me was not very friendly/talkative or even ask me what I was looking for in my new glasses. I will go back for exams there but wont buy there glass.

The customer service at the fair oaks location is the worst Ive ever experienced, although Ive had great experience with VisionWorks at other locations, and that was the reason I chose to go. I was calling to discuss an issue with my prescription, after talking to 2 persons and was being told to hold on for more than half an hour, the other side just hung up the phone!!! Not recommended!!

I have been gong to Visionworks for years for my prescription glasses and every time I have an issue the employees are very quick and helpful. Their selection of frames are excellent and able to get my VSP benefits and why I keep going back to them.

I appreciate the helps of Sands, the technician that helped me find the perfect frames. I have searched 4 other stores and had given up finding the match to my favorite set that I had broken. I almost walked out with something I wasnt happy with just out of frustration. I was thrilled when she found the exact pair I had been searching for!

I don’t wear glasses but my friend went in for an adjustment and the person there was super nice! Adjustment only took like five minutes and she was very helpful and made easy conversation as we checked out.

Staff and doctor were not professional and transparent at all, were constantly trying to charge for things you didnt do. Was asked several times for a retinal exam that costed extra, even though I signed a paper that I wanted to skip that. I was never asked or pushed for this in any other clinics before. Overall very dissapointed with my experience.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this location. The moment I entered (ON TIME), I was chastised by the front desk who said I didnt pick up the phone calls. They called during peak work hours, and Im not even sure why they called so many times when I already confirmed my attendance online. I filled out all of the admission forms beforehand only for them to say they couldnt find it (and again, seeming to blame me and repeatedly asking me if I did them). Once they found it, they made me wait. I waited 30 minutes before asking what the status of my appointment was, and I was told it would be at least another 20 minutes. What is the point of making an appointment (and getting attacked for not picking up reminder calls about the appointment I showed up to, on time) if I have to wait another hour before I can be seen? It was very frustrating to leave my work early, take time off to make this appointment and to be asked to wait an extra hour as if it was no big deal. If I didnt ask what the status was, would I have sat there even longer? Im definitely turned off by Visionworks in general, and will take my business elsewhere. If they expect patients to do their part, they should reciprocate, at the least.

I had a rough experience twice. Not going back. First time - despite making appointment, had to wait for almost 45 min. Additionally, dilation wasn’t done. I was asked to return another day for dilation. Second time, I was prescribed incorrectly - everything seemed to be slanted when I used the glasses that was prescribed. I had to test again return to the place. They replaced the lenses for free with a revised prescription, but the experience was soo bitter am never returning to this place. I do not recommend this place.

Dr Chung was excellent. I found her to be very friendly and competent. She talked me through her process and answered my questions. I would definitely try to make future appointments with her.

Customer service not too friendly at first but when I expressed my urgent need for restocking on my prescription they came through. They were not busy at all. I hope they do better attending to ones needs. I had valid prescription and had called the day before. I was urged to come back. They ended up doing what I asked and it only took 6 min or less. Optometrists here are very good. Get your eyes examined here and take your prescriptions elsewhere. Dont buy the glasses here. They start with insanely high prices and then apply some discount, still quality not even close to costco glasses. Cant use my glasses as the progressives they sell are junk. Should come with a warning not to wear while driving. Had progressives before, never had a problem
