I’ve been going to Sara at the benefit brow bar for years and years, I don’t let anyone else touch my brows because she’s truly an expert! The service is always awesome, she makes the process fun, easy, and quick which is perfect for me! I can’t recommend Sara enough, she’s amazing!

I had a hair appointment with fareena today and she did a fantastic job on delivering the service I asked for, maybe even more than what I asked for. I am super in love with how my hair came out and I will definitely be coming back to see her. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for an expert stylist!

I love that Ulta is really close to me and I dont have to go to the mall to get certain products. Theyve got a great variety. And I really enjoy shopping there!

Easy to schedule online for cut and color

This place always have good deal because they let customers exchange when not satisfy and all the deffrent companies cosmetics.

I sent my sister to do an in- store pick up. She informed me that initially the associate was going to give my order but required ID and they would only do it once. Fair enough. However, the associate apparently then stopped, as my sister almost had the bag in her hand, proceeded to stare at my sister..... then decided to treat my sister like a thief and call the manager. I am more to happy to obey the rules, but they could have informed my sister more politely AND certainly could have been more straightforward, in saying that they would give it to her, then suddenly take it back. Poor customer service....and seedy associates. The manager was considerate when I talked to her...so at least there is that. I love ulta...if you live close by just go to the fair lakes one....good advice, I have never felt misled, and the associates are KNOWLEDGEABLE.

Service is slow. Staff dont care if there is a big line no one will open up another register. They just make you wait 15 min in line with only one cashier to take care of a bunch of people in line. Poor management.

Clean. Hands sanitizer is right at the doors. Lots of products. Some products here are cheaper than at Target. I had a pick up order, order pick location is right at the front so you dont have to walk around the store. The process was fast and efficient. They do ask for DL in order to pick up your order.

I visited the Fairfax City Ulta to purchase Urban Decay eye primer. The sales staff - there were 3 milling around - didnt offer any help and even walked right in front of me while I was picking out my makeup, violating the 6 foot rule. I expect customers to do that, but not staff. This place is my least favorite to get makeup, but its by my house.

Some staff members are happy to help and are always polite but theres this short Hispanic lady with glasses that is too damn lazy to help you out and she always has an attitude.

Ulta is always great when you need to find a gift for wife or mom :)

It has many beauty supplies but very expressive

Good at helping me find the item I needed but the free gift was out of stock. So when I suggested they take the sign down or offer a different gift they gave me three of those mailer samples of perfume. Wow. So close to the same value as the robe or throw blanket. The third star was for trying I guess.

10:55am my toddler and I walk in the OPEN doors and this lady jumps in front of us and rudely says “ma’am, we open at 10!” I look at her and say “oooookkkkay?” - “I mean 11... 11.” We step back outside in the 40 degree cold & she locks the door behind us.Now, it’s 10:57 and my little is back in his car seat & I will not be back to shop at this location again.

This place is always super organized and stocked. Today the staff was very helpful and nice when we didnt know what to get. I like that fact that everything is in order and they always have stock of products.

This by far is my favorite ulta location. Why? Well, everyone is so happy to sell and share product details and answer all of my crazy questions. Janessa who is the Retail Sales Manager is AWESOME and helpful. Nevertheless everyone who works at this location is always helpful.Thank you, this kind of help really makes a world of a difference. I despise of Sephora so I am happy to walk in and go here.

A great cosmetics store on Main St. of Fairfax city offering a diverse selection of beauty and salon products and services. A very well organized store with each product line comprehensively labeled and knowledgeable sales staff who never push anyone to buy their products.

Poorly stocked branch, rarely can find a tester, staff trying to be helpful but not good at it.

Cassandra helped me find my perfect match for foundation. She was so patient and kind!

Store personnel at this ulta store is extremely nice and helpful compared to one at FairLakes. They will take their time to find you the best product. I have stopped going to the Fairlakes store and come here instead.

Went to get a new foundation that actually matches my skin and gives me coverage. A young lady helped me but wasnt able to match me. She asked Stephanie to help me and she sure did! She took her time with me and answered all my questions. This is definitely the best Ulta in nova. The Woodbridge and Manassas stores are garbage.

First time to use ulta. Dont see the point of coming here except to get very few rare brands. You can just go to sephora or drugstore to get most products. But this is just my opinion. The employees are nice although it was kind of hard to find them. The place is clean and well organized.

The layout is kind of weird but the staff is nice and most things are well stocked. Less of a polish selection than other Ultas in the area, but a number of stocked clearance towers.

Ive been lied to you at the store. I have never had a great experience at this store. Tonight really was the best. I walk in the door and all they do is stare at me and then the pregnant woman runs to the front never welcomes me like they usually would have another Ulta and then she runs back behind me SIGHS!!!! and never asked me if she could help me. So finally I asked if there was anyone that had any customer service skills? INGIE thought she was being funny on the next aisle from me and never responded to me. I confronted her and shes laughing. This is the worst Ulta ever!

Terrible. No customer service at all. Employees are mean specially that short Hispanic lady. I was looking at red nail polish and was about to open one to try it and see if thats the correct shade of red, she screamed at me saying that I have to buy it, try it home and bring it back if I dont like it. Im a grown up woman I dont know how she allowed her self to behave like this. Not to mention that if u buy anything online and for some reason return it, They treat u like you stole it or something(even though all the receipts and order conformation are printed). Omg that attitude they gave me made me feel like returns are just prohibited. A big no no. I started shopping at the location in Springfield, at least I get greeted when I walk in and Def. No one screams at me.

This store didnt place a $7 eye shadow in our bag but charged us for the purchase. Then they accused my daughter of trying to get an item for free. Last time we visit this overpriced cheap store. Customer service they have not.

Let me first say, this is a review only of the Ulta Salon. Everyone who worked at the store was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. I was never pushed into sales and was generally given fantastic advice.On Sunday I tried the Ulta Salon. I have been bouncing between stylists for a few months now, trying to correct a haircut from June. I havent had highlights since May, and thought that Id like to go medium-ash blond for Fall (from high lighted warm blonde). I found a picture online of the color and brought it with me to my appointment. The stylist brought out some color samples and together we picked a color and she started.The color we picked was 12av, which I later learned is a very bright blonde-- not at all like the picture. Not only that, but on my hair it turned brassy and yellow. I commented before she cut/dried that the color was bright and she said just that this is the color you picked. I let her start drying because Ive had high lights that look different wet than dry... but as the color dried it just stayed yellow. We stopped and I said that I was sorry but this was just really not the look I wanted. I showed her the picture again and she reminded me that I picked this color out (WITH her though, trying to match the shade). She then said that I might not be able to get the hair in the picture because the girl has high lights, might have extensions etc. This was really frustrating because I saw her ahead of the appointment to pick out the colors and discuss the look and if she had said I cant do that or your hair wont do that, I wouldnt have spent the time/money.She offered to put a glaze over the color and took out another book, and again we looked at a darker ash color 8n10 or something. She colors the hair with something that looks very RED, washes, and starts to dry. Now my hair is the color of an old penny, and dull. The store was closing/closed, my hair cut was choppy, the color was wrong and dull, and I had to leave.The stylist didnt consult the other stylist working when the color didnt turn out right, and I didnt get the impression there was a head stylist available. She genuinely seemed to want to correct the color and make me happy but I am disappointed she didnt recognize her skill level and refer me to someone more experienced.
