This was my 2nd time in life hiring movers. Whether good or service, I believe a companys job is to guide a customer through a process so there are no surprises.I made my reservation with Yeva (over the phone), who was concise, clear and upbeat. She asked thorough questions and I felt comfortable booking. Based on her questions, I had communicated that there were stairs, the quantity of boxes and told her a couple of my biggest furniture pieces, etc.Day of move, Ilya & Jake arrived at 9am (within the quote time range, yay!). It was a bit rocky at the beginning. Ilya seemed worried that I had too many items for 2 guys to handle in the allotted time. He expressed that there were far more items to move than were listed on my profile. I explained that had I been informed of the importance of listing EVERY item from the beginning, I would have done so.They ended up calling a 3rd guy over to help. Didier (sp?) came over and helped speed things up! Everything was packed, driven to new location and unpacked by 1pm (yay!). The guys were great, and Id recommend them to anyone moving locally. Just cant give a 5-star because I feel there was a disconnect amongst solicitation of information between customer to company.

The workers from My Pro Movers were great, they arrived at my home in Virginia at 9:00 AM and finished packing their truck at 9:00 PM.They made sure that all my furniture, glassware, etc were thoroughly protected before they loaded them into the truck.When they arrived at my 2nd home in Florida they took the same extra precautionary measures unloading to make sure nothing was damaged.I highly recommend to ask for Danial at My Pro Movers, you’ll be very pleased you did!Also I would like to mention, Danial said right from the beginning there would be no additional charges and he kept his word!!Steve

We contacted for a swim spa move. They were prompt and courteous with their response. They asked for details and lots of pictures. Based on what we gave them we were quoted a price. We contracted with them and made a deposit. Based on the ability to move the spa, I bought the spa and set up electric hookup. The day of the move, we paid in full. The movers showed up with equipment too small to do the job. We were then told the pictures were deceiving. We gave the model along with all the specs! We still were trying to work with them stating mistakes happen what do we need to do to make this happen? A foreman called me once at 9:15 at night to say he was trying to find equipment. I had to call him back repeatedly, when I spoke with him he told the price was quoted on last years costs not this years costs, and the cost would most likely be double or triple the quote on contract, if he even can find the equipment to do the job. ( they advertise they move spas). He said he would call back when he knows more….still no call. They did refund my deposit. I have paid for a spa, poured concrete, and had electric set up all because we had an agreement they could do the job! Very disappointed!

I used MyProMovers for a small move today and was very satisfied with the experience; they did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. These people were just total rock stars!! The original movers I had hired bailed on me and I needed to find someone to help me get moved in just a few hours. Everyone here is amazing. Quick response time and affordable estimate. They checked in with me to make sure that we were always on the same page for timing. Showed up exactly when they said they would. We just needed help moving a few large/heavy items including a washer/dryer. The movers were fast and professional. I have use MyProMovers 3 times for local moves, most recently last week as I moved out of my apartment. I’ve been very pleased with their process from the initial call through completion of the work. Their sales staff is professional, transparent and clear. Communication is good and the estimates are easy to understand. On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time (actually a bit early, with my approval), were very professional and worked hard to complete the move timely. This is my first time using a moving company so I did a ton of research. I narrowed it down to 4 companies and MyProMovers was hands down the best in terms of responsiveness, informative, and overall value. I was planning to confirm the move two days before but they contacted me first to confirm all the details. And then the move itself was excellent. Leonardo and Jose called to tell me they were on their way. Arrived promptly. They came with masks and wore them throughout the move (which has not been the case with other contractor I have used recently). They were efficient and did an excellent job all around. Very quick, professional movers. We used a color code system to organize our rooms and they were quick on the uptake. They took apart and put back together any furniture that couldn’t get through doorways, and they wrapped anything that was cloth. A smooth move overall.

We had 3 separate jobs for the crew to do. Daniil took down some details and notes over the phone to make sure everything was clear for the crew for their arrival. Very professional! I moved yesterday 11/20/20 and My Pro Movers showed up on time with mask on. I had everything packed so llia and Navruz only had to pack the truck. They were professional easy to talk to. MyProMovers was excellent! I used them to move apartments. The movers were on time, friendly, and so fast. Everything was seamless and the set up went great. They did a great job and I am very happy with service. My only complaint is that my nightstands paint finish got damaged while being loaded because it was poorly wrapped/protected, but otherwise I am very pleased with the way the move went. Have a couple of extra bottles of water on hand for these guys especially in the summer. And while tipping is not required and they dont expect it, tip anyways. A friend of mine highly recommended my pro movers and said great things about their service. I gave them a call and I immediately felt like they were good people, just by the tone of their voice and the fact that they genuinely heard me out. They were warm and asked me a few questions about my move and went over all my options. They answered all my questions in detail and I felt a sense of comfort right away. They require a deposit and follow up with an email confirmation right away. They called on the week of my move and sent out 2 guys to move my belongings on the day of. The guys were extremely nice and professional, they worked amazingly fast and were gentle with my belongings. They disassembled and reassembled my bed and even fixed my wobbly TV, that I originally put together. They had no problem navigating to my new place in the city and were equally fast bringing everything into my new home. When I originally spoke to them they predicted my move would take about 3 hours and sure enough, it took them 3 hours. These guys truly went above and beyond. I will always use this company in the future and I highly recommend them!

The reps on the phone were very pleasant while scheduling the move. However when it was time to move the movers were very late. I felt this could have been handled by calling me and offering to reschedule so as to not waste anymore of my day. But I understand why they wanted the business and to accommodate my move that day so they dispatched two different movers to come out. The guy was super aggressive and petty. He was even argumentative with the rep on the phone so I told them to refund my deposit and leave. A few minutes later the rep called back and was so apologetic and handled the situation with the utmost professionalism that I wasn’t even mad anymore. He offered to make it right and have two other guys come out the next day. They came ON TIME and was so respectful towards my home. The experience was so pleasant working with them. They were even apologetic about what happened yesterday even though they weren’t at fault themselves. Rarely would I patronize a business after a bad experience but because they worked so hard to turn a negative situation into a positive experience that I would definitely use them again.

The MyProMovers moved a 1000 LB safe to my basement in a very tight area with no damage. The team was organized and very professional. I had my doubts they could manage it but they proved to be the right team. Thank God for MyProMovers. They are simply the best!

MPM provided a reasonable quote for my request and assured me that the job would be completed in the manner in which I requested. On my moving day, I had some initial conflict with one of the movers. The guys (Tito and Emilia) did a terrific job and got everything to and from my move locations with great timing. Not to mention rolled with the punches that we had logistically all the way. Very patient and quick on their feet to get the job done. Definitely hire them if you need a move.

The four man/two truck crew who came out to move our worldly goods to our new house was phenomenal! We have tons of stuff, but they hauled it out of our house, Tetrised it into the moving vans, and delivered the items into our house wherever we wanted them like bosses. To fit my drafting table in through my art room door, they had to unscrew and reassemble the legs. Then this morning a two man crew (one of whom had helped us the ENTIRE previous day) came out and loaded up all the stuff that was in our storage unit and delivered it in half the estimated time. I was hovering because I was SURE there would be something (besides our camping propane) that they wouldnt/couldnt move, but they took care of glass framed pictures, multiple piece/parts of stands, a finicky glass lamp, and more with no problem. If we ever have to move again, we would not hesitate to hire My Pro Movers again. Also, we still dont have internet in our new house, but I felt so strongly about them, I went to a place that DOES have internet connectivity, just to leave this review.

The guys they sent were excellent. They called to let me know what time they would be arriving within the time frame Id been given. They arrived exactly when they said. Though they were a little skeptical they could get my adjustable frame and bed to the top of my townhouse, they managed to do it. They packed the truck in less than an hour (all items located in two rooms on one level) and unpacked the truck in less than an hour (items going into a room on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the townhouse). Much quicker than anyone expected. They were a good price and found me on home adviser looking for movers. I would definitely use them again.

While the movers were nice I was disappointed. The move started off on the wrong foot as there was miscommunication with the process and what should have taken place prior to the move didn’t. The movers were not prepared, started off fast but slowed down very quickly. They argued a lot and spent a lot of wasted time rearranging the truck etc. which of course cost me as it’s an hourly charge. After they packed the truck they left to go to the store, took several breaks which was understandable but time should have been removed. I ended helping them and going to the store for water. My desk was broken, chairs scratched, bed dirtied, missing pieces from lamp that was taken apart. They did not wrap things that should have been wrapped. Did not put down anything on the new carpet. They left trash in both places and outside. Very unprepared! In the end I ended up paying a couple hundred more than quoted, which I understand is an estimate but should not be too far off. After my post I was offered $50 by Michael/Mike to change my review and provide a 4 star rating.....Well I don’t know what you’re investigation was based off and there’s no reason for me to lie. It’s also interesting how over the phone it was a very different conversation as if my complaints were not the first time you were hearing of such things and you could see what I was saying.

Great movers! From the Daniel, the kind/upfront professional who scheduled my move, to the great team of movers who are friendly, professional, efficent, and careful with your possessions. I had a heavy glasstop dining table that I wanted lined up with a light fixture, and they took extra time to line it up, but also make any changes so I was satisfied. And they showed up 10 minutes early! Overall, a great stress-free experience!

Edwin and Santi were our movers and they were wonderful. They both wore masks the entire time and were helpful with a tough move that required organizing the truck in a certain way. All around made moving in the pandemic a little bit easier.

It was a long day with two truck loads of household items. Some very large pieces that were difficult to move including a piano, but the crew worked hard and professionally all the way through it until it was done. All of the crew was very friendly and courteous. Reasonable rates for the large job that it was.

They were on time. We’re very careful with my stuff and made sure they did not touch my walls when moving our large items (couch, bed etc). Very polite and hardworking.

This is actually the second time Ive used MyProMovers in the last 6 months. The first was a local move within Alexandria, and just recently to consolidate 2 of our storage units into a new one closer to home. The two movers I had were very deliberate, nice and hard working. I had no issues with them and they asked me for input along the way. I’d recommend them for others looking to move. Recently had mypromovers relocate a very heavy and sensitive piece of equipment from one house to another. Removing it was incredibly difficult but they pulled off quickly and professionally. Highly recommended!!!

I hired pro movers to pick up a side board that my wife bought at an auction in Maryland to bring to our apartment in Falls Church VA. I found them to be flexible and very professional, This was a smaller job than their normal minimum. Instead of telling me no, we were able to work out an arrangement for a shorter job for a reasonable price. The driver was in touch from before he arrived at the pick up location on. He and the other mover were able to pick up the object without our being present. They identified pre-existing damage in photos that they took and texted to me at the time of the pick up so that there were not subsequent issues. They arrived at our home timely, got the piece into the apartment, successfully negotiating any issues that the building might have had. They were patient with us as we identified the exact location where we wanted the very heavy piece placed. Could not have asked for a better experience

I booked MPM for a local move with about 1BR apartment worth of items. They were prompt with communication, on-time, and the movers worked great. My A/C was broken so it was hot and humid and the movers handled everything professionally.The destination had lots of stairs, and I had no bumps/scrapes in the drywall. They took directions on placing certain boxes in rooms and assembled my bed without issue.I would recommend, and I will be using them again.

The guys did a great job moving my belongings. They were able to squeeze my couch that I was convinced I’d have to sell through a narrow doorway in an old building. I’ll probably hire them again next time I move!

I found this moving service via Angie’s List. It was a top-notch experience from start to finish, for an affordable price! They were a little behind in getting to the location, but they called me in advance to let me know, so that didn’t bother me at all. In fact, I appreciated them reaching out.I moved items from a storage unit into a condo building, and I had a fair amount of items sort of haphazardly packed (I had family help me move the items into storage and we are 100% not pros). But that didn’t seem like a challenge for My Pro Movers. They worked quickly and efficiently to unpack the unit and properly wrap delicate items for transport to my new home.They swiftly unpacked my belongings and were careful not to damage not only my belongings but the condo elevator and hallways!I would *highly* recommend this service and will definitely look them up for future DMV-area moves!
