Don’t shop here. Manager is a liar. Do not believe the office signs: NO HIDDEN CHARGES.Told us (in notes from his mouth) our monthly bill (EVERYTHING) would never go higher than $130.Does this monthly charge of $176.19 show he spoke any truth?Also said I’d get a veterans’ discount. Never found out until after we signed the deal, had to drive 67 miles to a REAL USC corporate store with my DD214 to get that.Tried to call the local number… it only rolls over to a national call center.
I don’t plan on ever going back to the Ottumwa Store unless absolutely necessary. They actually want to help the customers here and are very pleasant.
I waited a long time just to pay a bill. The people behind the counter are overworked and need more help. Perhaps its because people dont want to work. But they were backed up about 45 minutes helping the two that were up there. They did a great job!
Very poor customer service at this store! Went into store to pay for the prepaid service plan last month and discovered a few days later that agent failed to actually renew my service!! This happened while I was out of town. Had to take an extra half hour to go to a US Cellular in Des Moines so an agent who actually knew what they were doing could activate the service I had already paid for!! NOT HAPPY!! Owner NEVER RETURNS calls!!
I highly recommend asking for Hunter!! He went above and beyond to help me find the right planon an Ipad for my daughter and gave me a great deal. He was kind, knowledgeable, personable with a great sense of humor and gave excellent service. Best experience with a cell phone provider. We are extremely happy with our service and device. I have have one happy lil girl!

Normally I would give this store a 5 but not after today. I went to pay my cell bill in person but was told that this store is no longer able to accept bills to be paid here. I was informed that as of 10/12/20 they are no longer letting customers pay bill in person. Either go online, mail or paperless bill. I did contact US Cellular them selfies and they informed me that since this stores is a 3rd party owned store that its up to the manager(s) and/or owner(s) to set how things are done.
Hunter Conley was a rude and obnoxious employee during my experience. I entered the store as an extremely frustrated customer but was engaged with another employee when Mr. Conley felt the need to inject his unwelcome, unneeded, and most unnecessary commentary. It only caused the situation to escalate...customer vs. employee. This is not a good scenario and one I would think U.S. Cellular would strive to avoid.....maybe some role-playing during your job interviews U.S. Cellular?
The best place in town for mobile phone service! Ive been a customer for a few years, and customer service has always been excellent. Nathan is my go-to associate for upgrades and troubleshooting. He is most helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Whenever my clients who are new to Fairfield need a local carrier, I recommend they go see Nathan at U.S. Cellular.
The associates working at this store do a wonderful job helping customers. I have been in several times over the past few years for technical help with phone in my family and they do a great job listening and problem-solving. I highly recommend them!
My girlfriend and I recently moved to the area and this was our first time in this uscell. the building itself and the things inside seemed kinda old and dated so i wasnt expecting much but i was suprised! i dealt with mitch but his boss (not sure of his name) came over when he finished with the person he helped and asked if he could help do anything either. they both seemed to know their stuff and were vary, vary personable. Im extremely impressed!
Jordy was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable in helping me change my plan and buying a new phone for my husband.
