Great diner on campus - complete with 50s music and good food

Located on Sacred Heart University property. By the sports facilities. Perfect. Exactly what one would expect of a NJ diner. Great food with student, parent wallet friendly, prices.

Burger and cookie Skillet were awesome. Nancy our server was fantastic.

I love being on campus and Im grateful that I was recently able to try food from JPs. I had a prepackaged buffalo chicken salad, as well as a chicken francaise. Both were hefty plates and the food was seasoned well. Each was $8 and change. If youre part of the SHU community Id recommend.

Food is good most times but id rather sit on the belt parkway at 5 P.M rush hour time or better yet Ive never watched paint dry but id rather do that then wait for service here. Id say your chances of watching a chicken cross the road are higher than getting fast and good service here.Thank you

First of all, parking is non-existent. Yes, the exterior of this new diner is beautiful, but...First time there last week for breakfast, and, we waited and waited for a server. Finally, our server showed up, but we still waited another 10 minutes for coffee and water.She took our order. And we waited for 35 minutes. He ordered an omelet and I ordered two eggs over easy toast and hash browns.Our breakfast arrived and I couldnt believe the eggs! They were gray, tough, and stringy. The toast was burnt, and the bacon was a glob of 4 slices stuck together that were way too salty. His omelet had RAW vegetables. I mean, raw peppers and onions! Hello? You have to COOK the veggies before you fold them into an omelet!OMG! Terrible service, and THE WORST BREAKFASTS we ever had! Never again!!!!

Great diner for the kids, very reasonably priced, good menu, perfect for college kids.They have a limited menu on weekends, but the waitress was nice enough to let us order from the regular menu.Very clean well run, restrooms clean, well maintained.We enjoy going there when ever were at Sacred Heart University.

Nice retro diner on a college campus with a small diner menu (not your traditional 6+ page menu at some diners). Its really hard to get seated immediately if you arrive after 11 pm ( ... youll have to wait at that time)! You can get food to-go as well.

Very slow. Just slow. Waited over an hour after we ordered to get food and the place was half empty

Weekly specials are nice, the milkshakes and really good and not like your typical diner with a huge menu, has a lot of breakfast options and their Reuben is awesome

Don’t Go Here!! Ordered onion rings came very cold, ceaser salad was absoloutely hideous, even the orange juice was disgusting. Very disappointing and i’m never going back again.

After waiting 20 mins for my order to be taken, the manager sitting guests tells me that I should have said something. Not really sure if thats how a diner works. Seems like no improvement of service since opening in 2017. Shame...
