This is a late night I cant find anything open burger and fries place. The Mac and cheese was like eating butter. The mozzarella sticks were good. Cheese burger was ok. Its a very thin burger patty.

Honestly I used to love this diner nowadays they hire just about anyone in the kitchen? Basically whatever you order is completely un-edibleI had too many bad experiences with my order I will no longer eat from the Diner i used to love it

Always love their food. Service is great (certain servers) some like to rush you. There is only one waitress we dont like. We dont even sit in our seats yet and shes asking us what we want to drink. She was very rushy and it wasnt even busy. She took away our plates without even asking if we were done and she gave us our check without asking if we were through. I really love this diner, and love everyone there. We have been costumers there for years. The best diner to go to

I had an omelette, which was bigger than my head! Brought most of it home. It was delicious! The service was great. Witstaff was very friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my visit very much.

Andros diner is without a doubt, the best diner in Connecticut! My family, friends and I have been going there for over ten years, and they never disappoint! The family that owns the establishment are super friendly and personable! Most of their staff have been there for a very long time, and they always provide amazing service! Slow and small. It was crowed because they wanted to fit as many people as they could. Took forever to get our food. People you came after us got their food before us. Would not recommend!

This place has gotten extremely ghetto over the passed few years. It’s appalling an actually sad because it’s very convenient. Monday night I was sitting with a coworker and our waitress was super inattentive she seemed more concerned about screaming her business so the whole restaurant could hear what she was saying forgetting our order and taking forever to replace it and honestly I didn’t eat my food I just wanted to leave because she gave me a head ache. We couldn’t even concentrate she was so loud and just kept going and going on about another coworker I would’ve hoped some one with authority would’ve told her to keep it down but the old man chimed in and kept it going. Pure circus act! We decided to go else where to continue our meet I will not be returning.

Oh, how Ive missed 24/hr diners! Staff was amazing, even though it was prom night and they were slammed! Prices were perfect, with a wide variety of food to choose from. Food was out in the fastest time Ive literally EVER seen in any restaurant, and the food was delicious! I was very impressed with how they had that place running like a finely tuned clock. I will DEFINITELY be back.

Disgusting, a snot on the window of the booth we were seated at. Is the topper. There food is all deep fryed if there food had a face it would look like 98 %of the people that go in this place fat slobs that should be ashamed to roll out of there house looking like they do just the smell of there omelet turned my stomach this was my 1st and for sure my last time EVER in this dump also the water they serve taste like the pipes in the ground loaded with rusty taste........ dog food 🐕

My first visit here. Stopped in with my mom around 5pm, so still in time for early bird special. My mom got beer battered fish and chips. Came with soup or salad. I got tuna melt. Which is my go-to at any diner. Waitress was nice enough to tell me the melt has tomato on it, which I declined. My mom got strawberry shake, which she absolutely loved. Waitress brought my moms salad out and courteously brought my coleslaw out so Id have something to munch on. My melt was very good. Her fish was good too. We both wanted dessert but got too full! Lol. Could I have found my local go-to diner finally?

I have been here many times and always enjoy the food but something happened this morning that I needed to share. A kitchen employee on the way to the bathroom at the same time as me stopped to let me go first.

Small local joint. looks like its been around for a long time. No Greeks on the premises. Very friendly Latino staff. Couple of eggs sunny side up over cooked. small sausage links and home fries barely edible. I dont think Ill be returning.

Found this place while searching for something open late while on the road. Better than our usual stops! The gyro platter and fried chicken were huge and delicious. The service was super friendly.

We visited late as a group of 5, but the place & customer service was nice. They lit a candle on a cake slice for our friends birthday March 2018- & that was special. Food was good to be from a diner. The bad thing I noticed is the parking lot is too small & at an angle & u cant park on the street either. Parking is manageable, but sucks.

This place was incredible- from the food, to the men whom greeted us when we came in, to the kind accommodating waitress. I came in for dinner with my little daughter and my nephew. They are generous with their food portions (unlike some places) and our food was done promptly!! All 3 of us ordered everything we wanted (I mean everything) and I was shocked at how good the price was when I got the bill! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and Im know for being a tough critic.

The people here are like family, just wonderful and the service can not be beat. The food is Amazing, the options are amazing, Andros has always been clean, but now it is taken to a whole other level.cI love this place and the people in it❤. I have been to many dinners around the USA, but this is my absolute favorite.

Andros is where I always go when I’m in that part of town. It is just a very good diner, with a wide selection and solid tasty food. It has a slight bit of grit to it but that is characteristic and part of the experience and the location.

Food was delicious. Peaceful ambiance. Waitress seemed to be in a hurry and rushing us to order.

It was the perfect time just came from vacation we decided to go and have dinner at Andros before going home we got a nice waiter very polite young men we were very pleased I recommended 🥂

Worst experience every time order out! They are always missing something or the food is burnt this is the 3rd time in my book 3 strikes and your out! This place used to have better customer service now the management is horrible! The manager literally got on the phone told me “hold on I have another call” left me on hold for minutes and then made one of the waitresses get on the phone! Like what kinda coward manager are you that you didn’t handle the problem!

On a $200 order on an overnight shift to a local emergency department, Andros could not rectify the fact that a sandwich was missing and another sandwich was completely apart on the bottom of the bag. Upon calling the diner; the “best“ they could do was to remake the sandwiches, but someone had to come pick them up. Seeing that they were 8 minutes away, no one from the diner could drive over because how ironic, no one drove that happened to be working that night. The response they received was simply that the doctors and nurses were unable to leave work to pick up the food; hence why delivery was also paid for. I guess $200 worth of money spent is not good enough for an 8 minute drive to satisfy healthcare providers.

I give this diner NO stars! but unfortunately, I have to give it a star. For the 1st time since COVID -19 began we finally decided to go get some brunch for our anniversary. We came to CT to see a house almost 4 years ago and this Diner was the first place we visited when decided to take the house, it is such a bummer this happened. The atmosphere was great. Our appetizer was great, there is was no complain about the food. However, when we received our main plate. We took a 1-2 bites and realize the rim of the plate was completely dirty. There was old residue from past food on the rim and it was on all 3 plates. It was disgusting! we call for service and the waiter brought the manager. As we are telling him about our dirty plates, he insisted it was our fingers from us touching it. We reassure him that it was not. He told us that it wasnt his issue because the plates doesnt get hand washed but go through a dish steamer. We asked him if we could please get clean plates and we dont mind switching out our food to a clean plate. He told us we needed to pay for 2nd plate, which it made no sense when we told him that there was NO issue with the food, just the plate. He immediately denied our request and walked away from us. We walked up to the check out desk and he demanded us to pay for the entire food that we did barely touched. We called 911 for help. We wanted to wait outside and he storms out to follow us and gets in my husbands face demanding us to pay!! During COVID we found that a threat! He didnt respect protocols. Still with police being there he demanded that we paid $35.00 for 1 appetizer and 3 side salads that came with our meals! and asked that we never came to the diner again. Even the policemen looked very disappointed and unsatisfied with his request. This manager should not be working there, He was rude, unprofessional, & careless! I really hope anyone who reads this review will reconsider this place! What happen to customers always right or at least meet our accommodations, we are paying for services!!!

Food is amazing! They used great quality ingredients. Ive been to other diners & ordered the exact same thing but the taste varied greatly! It was God but not AS good. Theres definitely a big difference. Great & quick service.

Average. Flavors were mostly very good. Service and the crew are awesome. Having said that I have to critic our most recent meal. Unfortunately this last visit was, yes, the last visit. Stuffed mushrooms could have been heated up longer, they should be served hot, not lukewarm. Gyro platter was salty. Coffee was hot water with coffee flavor, stingy on the coffee. Last visit the fries were cold and burger had some sort of salty seasoning. Oh and the tzatziki needed some flavor maybe garlic and some olive oil. So the food is, for us, too salty and should be served hot. Overall I want to like Andros Diner and return, but there are too many other eateries to try and possibly like better.
