Charges cash for bags for CalFresh customers?!$0.15 per bag for CalFresh/EBT customers, really?! All supermarkets waive the fee including Target, Walmart, Safeway, Raleys, WinCo. Also, that bag fee is 50% higher than any other store in the area. What is so special about these bags?I bought some seasoned salmon on a cedar plank for the grill. Normally $8.99 but half off manager’s special at $4.50, good deal.The cashier needed a manager’s approval for the discount on the fish. A disheveled Caucasian woman shuffled up the the register and entered a code. She had an oversized sweatshirt with visibly dirty and ragged sleeves, no mask, and some stretch pants on. I commented to the cashier “THAT is your manager? She looked like she just rolled out of bed.” The rest of the staff wore proper uniforms and presented themselves professionally. What is this manager’s story? Ultra-casual Tuesday at 9 AM? Mid-week hangover?Get it together please, you are supposed to be a leader.And why are you charging me for bags?!?!?

Called in to get some information the girl on the phone was extremely rude. instead of saying no im so sorry about that she simply said no no no no.the time was 4:45pm on 10/25 i think we may need to retrain our staff on how to treat people calling in =)

Every time I come to this store, theres very few registers open and the lines seems endless, is frustrating waiting for so long. They need more personal.

Didnt find what I went there to get. No one knew nothing about what I was after, sent there by someone who bought the item there.

Store was clean and well stocked. Good variety of products at low prices. Parking is never a problem. Rare to wait in line more than 10 minutes. For food items Im not going to stock my cupboards (check expiration date),but great for that last minute throw together meal.

Great neighborhood store that has a wonderful variety of products, fresh produce, cheeses, as well as great meat. Employees are polite and helpful. The store is always well laid out and clean.

I simply love this store for the mere fact that I get to try new products from different countries that I find to be superior to those made in the USA, and at a price that I can afford. If you find something that you like your best bet is to stock up on it because if its that good chances are it will not be back in stock I think thats in the good stuff to the store to get you hooked on it and then you have to pay regular prices in our regular grocery stores.

Great deals at a low price

This store is pretty OK except for the huge number of transients in the area. The store cant help that though. Just keep an eye out for shady people in and around the store. Good deals can always be found at Grocery Outlet Stores. Also always be sure to check the date and beware of razor cuts that have went through the packaging of food that came out of cardboard boxes. Ive had problems with food packaging being cut through in the past by the box cutter opening the outer cardboard box shipping package. Thanks Grocery Outlet for the good deals!

Service has gotten horrible in the last few months.

The Fairfield store had campbell soup buy two get two free so I bought two went to check out the cashier said oh its not that one, I said your sign is above it and you have to honor it she said it is the cooking soup its cream of mushroom soup that is cooking soup, it was not honored, so I left it.This seems to be happening more often at stores, your sign says something and the sign was put in the wrong place, that is not the publics fault your sign doesnt match the product.

Bargains for days, check them out. I go to the one on North Taxes, always end up buying more than I need, but always fine good deals.

Great bargains on brand name items. The staff are courteous and helpful. Bring a sweater because it can be cold inside. Lots of variety. It can be a great place to get Christmas gifts. Id give it 5 stars but it is very dim inside and there is often only 1 cashier so you wait a bit to get checked out or until they decide to call someone. That being said, the bargains are worth it. Veterans can get a card for $3 off a $30 purchase that you can use over and over. The produce is pretty good. You can usually find different and interesting items to try as well.

Found what I was looking for.

This grocery outlet has a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as healthy eating options for vegetarians in the freezer section. They also have a large selection of carbonated water and wine. The store is always clean. Whenever I go grocery shopping I usually start here first 👌🏾

No social distancing and the cashiers do not enforce the rules

It is a good place to get excellent deals, things do change from day to day depending on what they can get from vendors. Be for the most park they do have average stock like a chain grocery store and then get some diverse options that you can really only find there, if you do not get them at that time..... You will not find them again!

One of my favorite stores. They dont always have what you need, however its like being on a treasure hunt. To me its fun to see what I will come across.

Had to negotiate with the manager to take back a pair of leggings I bought before pandemic and then they wouldnt take them back after during pandemic and they said to hold on to him until later but they finally did give me my refund

Stayed in Fairfield for a week visiting friends during my travels. Found this store and was surprised to see so many fresh veggies and fruits on display for sale. Prices very reasonable 👍. Im a pushover for fresh veggies and fruits so I purchased my share. There were many types of sales on other items too. I had to go back several times during my weeks stay. Watch for the sales and you will get some great bargains.😃

The place is okay for milk eggs and some vegetables. If there is something that you use and they have it then you better get it because it wont be there next time you go. PS look at the expiration date on everything.

Never been a huge fan of the Grocery Outlet chain. Their selection is fairly limited, especially their beer selection. Wish theyd have more variety. I feel like their goal is to make things as cost effective as possible, and this means having stock of items that are lower grade than most other grocery stores. I expect and want the option to get higher quality food items rather than not have a choice at all.

I love this place! Organic foods and other items at low prices. I find food items here that sale for 2 or 3 times more at Whole Foods. A few words of advice though, Always Check the Expiration Dates!

Ive shopped at this chain since 1982 when they were called The Canned Foods Store. They changed names when they added frozen and produce. They have some unusual items. That sort of thing makes shopping an adventure with a good deal too!

Although you cant always find te same deal twice, I personally love this store!! Theres never a been a time that Ive gone here & didnt find an AMAZING deal in one section or another! From house wear to pets, & from food to a nice variety of wines & beers!! So if youve never tried it, you really should, & if you havent been in a while; you should go more often!! Every visit is something new!! Just be sure to check the sale by date because not all food sales are meant to go into your pantry! Hence the affordable prices!! 😉😉💖

Grocery Outlet is a great bargain. You can usually find brand name stuff $2-3 off if not more. I like that their ads will tell you that they anticipate a sale item to be in stock until a certain date. Speaking of dates, make sure you look at the label; a lot of the bargain is the item need to be used up right away. Also there isnt much variety, on different version of items for example you can find the standard flavor of PopTarts, but usually none of the frilly flavors. You can also find the occasional seasonal item that is still good, just not the right time to have on shelves.

I find the store(Fairfield, Calif.) on Travis & Texas st., well stocked and easy to find items. Always looks clean! Its a 5 star store.

I have been shopping here for a while now and I find the service great. The staff and owners I have met and spoken with. They have a well stocked and clean store always.

I just slipped on their floor. Instead of cleaning up the soap or whatever it was The 2 employees in that section thought was funny. I didnt think it was funny at all. After I got ahold of the manager he reviewed the security footage and saw that I most certainly did not fall intentionally he was very polite and professional. As for the other 2 employees SHAME ON THEM!!!! I think they should be fired. Then we could see if we found that amusing as well. I have been shopping there for about 10 years and I have never experienced this behavior from employees at this store.

You get more for your money here. I remember when it was just a can food store back when I was a kid. You could buy canned goods at a cheaper price if the cans were dented......now look! Big improvement since the 50s and60s.
