Its a wonderful free learning experience. I wish that there had been someone around but it was a hot Sunday so I can see why not! We caught it in-between season so there were few plants still in bloom (and dry due to the drought) but we did see plenty of bees. While there are picnic tables there was unfortunately no rest room we could find open to the public. I hope it continues to grow and educates more, my companion said he learned something and thats what counts the most!
It was relatively crowded but it was Saturday night. The staff is friendly. There are lots of arcade games, karts, and batting cage. As someone mentioned is somewhat dirty; it was hard to find a semi clean table to eat. Outdoor benches are also sticky. We had a 16 Vegetarian pizza for $20, it was ok. We went there for Mini-Golf and it was fun.
Had pretty fun time there. Prices were reasonably. Only complaint i would have is it got pretty warm inside and the ac never came on. IF YOU GO LAZER TAG IS THE BEST!!!
I always find the mini golf to be fun with the family! Havent really tried the food here yet, but Im sure itll be just standard fair low brow food. Was pretty fun doing the laser tag and other activities with the family though. I just find the gimmick of having to keep buying cards to put points onto so that we can play something really weird though
N/A because I went there for the batting cages. But they were still flooded from the big rain storm that hit the Bay Area 2 day ago.
Played laser tag and mini golf had a lot of fun. We lost our balls a few times in the course but they replaced it for us no problem. Laser tag was cool first time playing it.
Lots of memories here. Havent been in over 15 years. Now with my 4 year old son, Scandia is a great place to go for a leisure Sunday afternoon. We got there early anticipating the summer heat. Great call. We missed the lines, crowds, and heat. After a few hours we hadnt even worked our way to some of the fun activities like laser tag, water boats, or batting range. Well definitely back and bring friends. Worth a visit and pretty affordable. The snack bar was well priced too.
I love this place people here are very helpful I had a blast
Fun fun fun. Bring sanitizer and wipes. Bring your own snacks and water. Everything there has a ton of sugar and/or is fried.
The food can get quite expensive, a 16 inch pizza being 17.00 and a small soda at 2.50. We bought and shared a card for 36.00 which allowed us 4 hours of game play (the games where you win tickets not included) as well as a band for the cars and the boat. Granddaughter had a good time!
Fun times at the mini golf. Not too busy earlier, but crowds starting to come half an hour after we arrived. Arcade area was pretty much empty. The new arcade games were not enticing. I guess Im just an old school gamer.
We had a good time but only con is you Pay $150 for unlimited but they wont give you your tokens. Chuckie cheese gives you your tokens even if you pay unlimited for a few hrs.
Great place to take your kids and have a good time.. the food is limit but the 🍟 was great.
Really enjoyed the mini golf course. Arcade was fun but when you get down to 1pt left, you lose it as nothing is 1pt. Fun day!
I was very pleased and grateful for the cleanliness of the place especially the ladies that worked on July 30th I’d like to give them kiddos but honestly forgot their names they were very thorough and very friendly… the staff in the lazer tag was extra comforting knowing my daughter was a little bit scared… let us sit in with them…. Thank you!!! Also, the guys at the go karts we’re very friendly as well and was very helpful *Safety* was their main priority. Please give them my thank you!!! We had a blast!!!!
Would have gave it 5 stars but a lot of games were not working or broken and its very hot in there. Otherwise had a fun time and the staff is super nice! Will go again!!
Minigolfed and it was pretty fun. Not a lot of shade but the course is decent but some of the holes were in bad shape. Really fast too, if you tap it the ball goes flying.
Been around for years. Always a decent time. Can be noisy and pricey, but who goes to an arcade for quiet?
Fun time for these grandparents and our grandkids- after not seeing them for over a year due to Covid. Clean place.Ample parking. Nice staff, really nice staff. But pricey.
I came here today and hosted an 11th birthday party for my son and spent over $800 on this party and my son was denied getting on the go karts because the time ran out. Given that they had stood in the line for an hour they should have been let on the ride. I asked for a manager to resolve the issue and Julien showed u and was no help at all. What establishment ruins a kids birthday by denying them a ride on the go kart after waiting in line for an hour just because the time ran out as they were scanning the ticket. I’ll never come here again nor refer anyone. After spending all that money my sons birthday was ruined all over a go kart ride.Screw you Golfland, I can take my money and the business of all my family and friend else where. Not to mention there was a family of caucasians in the front on us in the exact situation and they let them go so what was the difference between us and them other than the color of our skin?
Great place for family fun, however the staff Need to sanitize doors and glass people touch more often
They have time play for 35$ for 4 hrs for arcade game witch is great when coming from out of town. Golf cours is fun and great staff.
The workers did not seem to want to work here very rude or tired NOT SURE so for 75$ i got to do the batting cages ONCE and rode a broken go kart ONCE everything was broken or out of order for maintenance was ok pre pandemic now the moral seems very very low and we were as curtious as can be wont be coming back AT ALL DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR FAMILYS PROMISE YOU WILL LEAVE DISSAPOINTED FOOD WAS HORRIBLE SERVICE EVEN WORSE ! I HOPE THEY CHANGE FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS IF NOT THIS PLACE IS GOING DOWNHILL
Great family fun! So many things to do, you can stay all day and not get bored.
We had a great day of fun with our family here. The only thing I would suggest is making sure the arcade equipment is better serviced and in working order. The bumper boats, mini golf, laser tag, go cart racing, and the batting cages are all worth the trip.
Such a fun place for date night, or family fun! Theres mini golf, batting cages, go carts, water rafts, photo booths, and arcade that starts at 5:00pm. Unfortunately there are quite a few arcade games that dont work. Food is available at the counters and for a reasonable price. There are also birthday party rooms available but not sure if theyre open right now during Covid.
Batting cages havent been updated for years. Waiting for a ball to be pitched anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes. Tried three different lanes with the same result. Finally ended up leaving the third machine after 8 pitches and wait 10 minutes for the next ball. Save your money and go somewhere else
Scandia Family Center was so much fun. All the staff was friendly and prices where reasonable. Would definitely recommend for kids of all ages.
It is what it is! Entertaining, but my home games are better, we just go for the mini golf - which is always a good deal.
Love it first time going with my kids. It wasnt crazy hot thank goodness. Love how there is plenty of food choices outside the area within a block or two of scandiaAnd gas stations. Its was kinda packed but we got there kinda Late in the day so but we still did everything we paid for.
Really good to see tjat theyre still open and they still have it all. Whole family happy😉
Some of the lights dont work on a few holes, other than that had fun and a good experience
I had a lot of fun here. I would definitely recommend doing laser tag. Itd be great if yall could mop the floor in front of the food counter. No one likes sticky shoes.
The batting cages are a great way to have fun while remaining socially distant.
Great place for family fun. Right off the freeway, lots of free parking. Miniature golf, go karts, and tons of amusement and video games. Snack bar, large clean restrooms. Great for all ages. Play games and win prizes. We really enjoyed the family photo booth! Close also to many popular fast food establishments (McDonalds with indoor playground).
It was fun place. Good for the whole family. 😊 Nice for adults who are still kids at ❤️.👍🏿💯😉
We came here with a party of six had an ok time mini golfing. But at the end one of are party made the free game hole. And when we asked the bald guy at the counter. He called us liers because he didnt hear a bell. Then the party behind us also made it and he gladly gave them their free game.
Drove out on a Tuesday morning and, as expected, virtually had the place to ourselves. Started with mini golf ⛳ to get through the 18 holes before it got too hot outside. Hit the batting cages after that, which only work some of the time but was still a lot of fun and a good workout. Cooled down with the boat ride where I couldnt stop laughing bc my son was soaking me the whole time! Last we jumped in the go karts which was a good time too. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Only things not available are the arcade and laser tag which is a bummer but understandable.
One stop shop to play all day with your kids. My son loved the go carts and laser tag.
Great fun for family and affordable and the pizza not bad..
Had so much fun with my wife and kids. Driven by probably 1000 times over the last 10 or 15 years. Its on the way to Tahoe or reno or sacramento or chico. Never stopped. Glad we did. Batting cages hard ball and softball. Mini golf, arcade, friendly staff and plenty of parking.. Go kart racing and water buggies. Fairly priced. Spent only $100 with pizza and drinks plenty of fun for a family of 5. Even when one of the vending machines didnt work they refunded me and gave me a fountain drink inside. Nothing is brand new but it doesnt need to be. Just good old fashioned American entertainment for all ages.
Food was pretty, rides and games were fun my family enjoyed it,lazer tag was exciting
Kayden helped me out at the go karts and he is such a great worker!!!! Worked so hard to helpme and my friends. One of my friends was to overweight for the Go Karts but he was so supportive and helped my friend lose weight!!! Thanks Kayden!!!
Love it yous to take my son all the time
Enjoyed the visit with my family... Some games where not working.... Miniature Gulf was amazing...
Got drunk played mini golf. Had a blast!
I like the atmosphere. It is a very fun place to take the family. It was fun to get out and do some fun things. I particularly liked the Go carts, golf & the boats. On a hot summer day the boats are even more fun.
Really enjoyed this place. Went with the kids during a road trip. Well worth stopping by.
Staff was super nice. The kids really enjoyed themselves!
Took My Kids There For The First Time In Fairfield I Gotta Say The One In Rohnert Park Was Better Because The Arcade Games Was Mostly Broken Or Not Working
Fun little center if you just want a place to take the kids real quick. Batting cages work well and fairly priced.
Great place for teens and adults alike. Goid prizes for the money too.
Awesome time for the most part, employees were aloof or just didnt care.Talking about the mini golf transaction/arcade area.
It was really fun for the kids and it wasnt too crowded.
Couldnt go on race cars, they said their the right height but they still had to have a grownup well I have 3 grandsons two could ride but only with useryt but my 2 yr. Old couldnt even ride a all.i payed almost $160 for all of us to play and ride everything for 4 hours the only well could do was golf and video games, also they said the 2 yr old was free, but we tried to go on the playland, and they were gonna charge us $6 dollars for him, so much for free, so by then we werent to happy,so we loaded up and went to chucky cheese, where we should have went in the first place, would have saved $200 wont go back to scandia
So much fun for everyone in a family. there is an arcade, go karts, laser tag, mini golf and more
Nice range for baseball and lots of games inside but i didn’t like the go kart it was pretty slow I think there were many parents who take there kids with them to ride that’s why but should be some fast cars too, and races should be done separately, track was little small but was fun !!
This place used to be so fun, but they need to hire more staff. We waited for the bummer cars for more than an hour and there was only one dude there. There should be at least two out here, definitely don’t recommend coming here on a Saturday.
We usually do Scandia after our Jelly Belly Factory visit (and occasionally stop by historic trains in the area) as part of a days worth of family fun. Scandia may be dated a bit but you cant go wrong w video games, laser tag, mini golf, childrens play area, kids food and the boat and car rides. I left off a star because several games in the arcade werent working during our visit. Not sure however if the pandemic and social distancing requirements played a role in some of that.
Food is bad but arcade is fine, although the games cost a bit of credits to play, alot more than Dave and busters.
Super fun for a good price. Nice quick get out of town activitiy
Fun place for everybody very hot and no shade at least shaving areas for kids and seniors I seen a lot of people having a little bit of issues
Lots of fun but they need more employees to help out. Staff was friendly and doing a great job but were overburdened. Time to hire!
Fun golf, bumper boats, go carts, and big nice arcade!! Clean, and affordable!
Great overall experience for the first time there! Definitely recommend for families to get together and enjoy some fun!! Cant qatt to go again and try more fun!
Scandia is an outstanding venue for family outings and recreations with an assortment of video games; miniature race car experience; mini putt putt golf; and many other activities.
Love this place, much has changed, but for the better. Mini golf the an arcade.
Only did mini-golf. Had a great time!
Great miniature golf courses. Depending on how fast you play, youll get at least a few hours worth of fun for your $$, cant beat that. The arcade was pretty dated but still fun, the tokens seemed to stretch a long ways. I got a $100 card for my 4 kids and we went home with almost a third of the card unspent. The laser tag had a long wait so we skipped that. The facility was cleaner than expected, but also very loud. I recommend going at night during the summer, the daytime heat was brutal on the golf course. We brought bottled water from home and no one complained. The fries 🍟 were good, but I dont recommend the nachos. Would recommend n visit again!
Worse experience ever, last time I was there one of the employees gave us a hard time, still went back to give a chance and same thing happened..never again what bothers the most we drove 40 minutes to just go there
Gets 3 stars only because they have batting cages and I love to hit. Cages suck though. Machines are always delayed waiting on balls to refill. I had to ask the attendant multiple times to check our machine because we were so delayed. Ill be looking for other cages to go to.
Food was cheap and was decent half the arcade machines just take your credits when you buy the wristband for unlimited there’s no arcade credit along with no laser tag or batting cages included they seemed clean and wasn’t over packed
Not that crowded . A/C was great to beat the heat. Arcade, mini golf, food and more
Arcade is still shut down (not their fault covid rules) the mini-golf course is Im shambles. Weeds and murky green water. The go carts are pathetically slow. The batting cages are nice at least
Me and my boys had a great time. Not busy at all.
Have some fun take the family and enjoy yourself with the arcades driving the cars oh and the new laser tag is off the wall
Looks like the same crowd that ruined places like Chucky Cheese has moved on to other family places like Scandia. It used to be fun, but anyone can have kids without a test, so I’ll let you decide how to take that.
Paid for the all you can play for 4 hours card. Mini golf was packed, overcrowded, 20 minute wait just to get clubs, then wait more at each hole. Go Karts was a 30 minute wait. About half of the arcade machines were broke down, glitched, or just shut completely off. Laser tag was booked full with a 2.5 hour wait for a 10 minute game... This is not the place you want to be. Scandia, get it together. With signs everywhere for social distancing and half the games turned off, you think they would limit the amount of people on the property, but no. People everywhere. The only person I saw cleaning was a dude vacuuming. At least no one is gonna be getting COVID from the floor, zomg.
The best place to take your kids or to have a party. I havent been hear in a while do i dont know how full it gets during these times. Will recimmend to family and friends.
Unfortunately only certain amusements are functioning, with that said... Great time. Great atmosphere. Felt safe.
