Very delicious and affordable. The customer service was excellent. My family and I will be going back. We got a malt, a cone, a sundae, and a doggie cone for less than $13! Highly recommend!

I cannot thank the staff enough for the quick friendly compassionate attention they provided to me and my family. We pulled in to get ice cream and then a medical emergency arose.. They were accommodating with everything that we asked for came back and checked. 911 was called family member was rushed to the hospital, staff came back to make sure I was okay. I cannot thank them enough. And as soon as everything gets stable we will be back for the delicious items on the menu, especially the CHOCOLATE HAMBURGER..!!

This place is great. Friendly staff. Has a nice inviting shady spot to cool off while enjoying your favorite treats. Plenty of options to choose from. Even has a drive through if you dont feel like walking up to the window. Had a peanut butter shake this time. It was thick and very flavorful. Will be back.

Many options are available on the menu. I loved green apple flavored soft ice cream. My kids tried a variety of milk shakes and they said those were pretty good. But banana split was a true disappointment. The banana that was used for the split was not ripe enough, very small portion of ice cream and the toppings we ordered were not that specific.

I ordered a med twist with choc Jimmie, tried to give me choc chips, order cherry cordial sundae small, got van ice cream cherry sauce choc chips no hot fudge not whipped cream no nuts. Cost 7.75. I realize it is beginning of season but no where did I ask for choc chips.

We LOVE the dip! Its our first choice for soft serve. The cake batter is my absolute favorite, but they have so many amazing flavors. Strawberry, blueberry, banana, white chocolate, coconut, and of course your classic vanilla and chocolate as well as job dairy flavors like dole orange, and pineapple. Prices are very fair and we always have great service. If youve never been to the dip definitely give them a try!

I have lived in Fairfield for approximately 2 years and had never gone to The Dip. Last weekend I decided to give it a try.The hot dogs, burgers, and shakes are great. You may have to wait in line to place your order, but it is worth the wait.

I love this little shoppe, its situated on a hill and the only complaint I have is that its windy and my napkins fly away. Also, it used to be the Gelhot Golf Center, Im not sure how long ago that was though

Used to be great before covid, but after they reopened we got bad customer service, they got like three of our orders wrong, (they refused to admit they got the orders wrong) and get this; on the one order they got right, they hollowed out that ice cream!If thats not the scummiest ive ever seen, I dont know what is! (Looks like picture below) You are not supposed to just hire anyone who asks for job. You hire people who have experience, and you hire people. You dont even care if people have no experience or no brain.

Went here for the first time today with my special needs summer group. It was good soft serve but a little pricey, the kids small cut with sprinkles was over three dollars! I got the peanut butter treat shown below, it was tasty! Employees were friendly!

Had to wait 45 minutes for two smoothies. The owner of The Dip who was taking orders and payment charged me twice. Once we got the order it was the wrong flavor. Once we got it again it was wrong again.

This Ice Cream Stand is amazing! The choices of treats are so numerous that it blows your mind. The staff is so polite and patient while I decide and they provide great service with a smile and great recommendations. They are also fast. The tables are cleaned often by the diligent staff and there is a ramp for wheelchair access. The only reason that I did not give a 5 stars is because I did not have the chance to check out the restroom. I was very impressed and pleased with the quality and service. Look forward to returning again!

Very creamy soft serve in lots of flavors. No regular/hard ice cream though despite the name.

Me and my boyfriend were given waffle cones that were barely filled and had almost no sprinkles on them because one of the employees (Khrissy) had personal issues with my boyfriend a long time ago, another employee was super disrespectful and slammed the ordering window on us and had an attitude for the same reason.

Such a great place! The ice cream is always put together to perfection. The only issue is deciding from the enormous amount of flavor choices.

My family has loved The Dip since theyve opened. Every year when the season changes, we look so forward to this place opening. I cant get enough of the chocolate vanilla twist cone. Its all I ever order. We also love that theyre so pet friendly. We bring our huge black Golden Doodle with us for a puppy cone. This place has always rated #1 with our family.

The Dip is a great little family ice cream shop. They have a cool menu with rotating ice cream flavors and some cool dishes for kids that come with a little plastic toy/prize. As most of these shops do, The Dip can get pretty busy on a nice sunny day.

I really recommend the Tsunami! Its great for kids or if youre an adult and have a big sweet tooth, this is perfect. The covered outdoor seating is wonderful and it has fans to keep you cool.

Lots of variety. It is very delicious. The apple dumpling is like what grandma used to make 😍. Staff is friendly, and the wait goes quick .the only improvement I would suggest is a more organized menu for the drive thru, as in pics too. We love this place. We bring our out of town guest and have nothing but good things to say about it.

The place is great for ice cream, the wait for it isnt very long maybe 2-3 minutes at most even when their busy. The price for said ice cream is very cheap compared to other places that sell very similar items and ice cream. It has a lot of space to eat the ice cream if u wanted to do that instead of taking it home and doing that. They also have kiddie sizes for the smaller children.

While this is not the greatest ice creams it is the best in the area. Friendly people and a good variety help make it a nice choice. They also have sandwiches and the like but have never tried it. Outside chairs and tables and they allow dogs and even have doggie cones.

Recently visited for the first time...this place is deep in Fairfield, but unbelievable pricing and good ice cream- had a large red velvet/white chocolate waffle cone that was hungrily devoured....very delicious! Will visit again in the future 😌.

Ice cream is good but the owner is extremely rude. The owner should not be customer facing as she is horrible with guest. The employees are all teenagers and the owner talks down to then as if they are worthless. Ive seen this first hand in multiple occasions. Went when they opened for 2017 and was a long time guest up until then. Decided the owner will no longer receive a penny from my family for rude service.
