Terrible experience. I wish that I had read all the 1 star BBB reviews before i visited. The stock pillow I tried in store was soft and comfortable, but the one I received from them is very hard. I have awful neck pain after sleeping on it. They do not allow returns or exchanges for many of their items including pillows so I am stuck with this useless item.

My husband and I went in looking for one specific mattress that we tried at a different mattress store. Sean was working and helped us find the mattress we were looking for. He then asked us some questions and had us try a few different mattresses just to see what we thought. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and super easy to talk with. He showed us an entirely different mattress than what we went in looking for and it turned out to be better than the one we originally wanted. Because of Sean’s expertise, we bought the mattress he suggested! We are so excited!

There were so many choices but thanks to the expert salesman I was able to narrow it down. I found the perfect mattress for me!

Had to find a new mattress, it was simple as that. We knew we didn’t want a warehouse mattress that was going to last us 6 month, we’ve been there, done that. But we also wanted the most bang for our buck. We started at a different mattress store. We tried various styles and narrowed it down to two that we liked, but was going to have to wait FOUR TO SIX WEEKS for a mattress. So we took a business card and went on our way.I told my husband about the mattress firm down the road. It was an hour before it closed and we had nothing to lose. He said let’s go. So off we went. We got to work with Sean (or is that Shawn? Shaun? Should call him awesome Dude cuz he was GREAT!).He greeted us with a friendly smile and engaging attitude. We told him about the previous store and he reassured us that there were tons of mattresses in stock and shouldn’t be a worry. So we started the shopping process.I must admit, my husband and I are characters. We were also very punch-drunk tired, so our humor was getting the best of us. There was a lot of laughter being had between us and Sean/Shawn/Shaun. But he never wavered from his job. He listened to our complaints of our current mattress, and previous mattresses. He gave many options, showing the benefits of each option. He never made us feel overwhelmed. It was like Sean/Shawn/Shaun was a friend giving us the inside scoop of the best option to get and why.We ended up getting a bed with an adjustable base (he even showed us the option of adjustable based. Dude, there are options of adjustable bases! Some with USB ports even!), and a pillow!Best part about it, WE GET EVERYTHING ON SUNDAY!!!! Holy smokes!!!Sean/Shawn/Shaun is the bestest, as is Mattress Firm!I am very impressed with the selling process. If the delivery goes as smooth and if the product quality is as good as the sales quality, I’ll be a lifetime customer.I’ll be back to update once we have experienced both.

Matt our salesman was awesome!!! Very helpful in picking our boys mattresses out & we bought a great mattress for myself & wife about 2 years ago. It came with a free adjustable base. We wanted to upgrade our base & Matt answered all of our questions. Great customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I went here last Saturday because we were looking to buy a king size mattress. As soon as we walked in, there was a black worker and a white worker at a computer. We weren’t greeted at all. After being in there for about a minute or so, I told my husband I was ready to go. As we were walking to the door, the black worker got up, asking if he could help. I said “no thanks”, and he then asked “Are you sure?” We then just walked out. It was extremely unprofessional to not at least say “Hi, we’ll be with you in a moment “, or something. We went around the corner to The Bedroom Store and purchased a mattress. They literally let money walk out the store, all because of their lack of professionalism.

We had originally ordered our tempur pedic online. But, they failed to deliver the mattresses. I was furious! So, I called to see what they had in stock that met our needs. Mat answered the phone and was so helpful. He was able to find us what we needed in stock, since tempur pedic online left us with just a base and no mattresses. I am in need of a foundation for the Serta Mattress I ordered that’s being delivered tomorrow. I had a problem with the one I ordered previously.I called Mattress Firm and spoke with Matt. I told him what I needed and he immediately looked it up. Can be delivered in 2 days. Took all of 5 minutes to get what I needed without waiting lengthy time as I have been doing.I’m more than pleased with Matt’s friendly manner. He was also very respectful and upbeat on the phone.Not the experience I had with the others I called. I will pass my great and easy experience shopping with Matt to my friends and family. I ordered a Serta box spring June 18, 2021. It was delivered to my home June 9th . It was damaged the the delivery man took a picture of the damaged box spring in my living room. I contacted customer service I explained in a chat session. Mattress Firm I gave me a list of instructions to complete online. I am an older Woman. I explained I was unable to complete the process. I then requested a refund. The representative told me that I had to try out the damage mattress for 120 days before I was eligible for a refund. I told her that was illogical, I could be injured using a damaged box spring... This is bad customer service.

Shawn in Fairview Heights, Illinois was awesome, well informed and patient. He gives you plenty of options and then steps back to let you decide. Definitely not pushy or condescending which I had just experienced with other retailers down the street. Very professional and would recommend this store above any other mattress retailers in the area.

My visit was extremely positive. The rep at the store was very positive, upbeat and had a great sense of humor. He took the time to ask about our preferences such as any back or neck pain and how I sleep such as on back or on side. So we compared the mattresses to narrow down to what I wanted. So I compared the feel, comfort level, and price to every mattress I had in mind to purchase exactly what I wanted. Overall, this is my second time coming here and never have any complaints. He is a breath of fresh air. I asked a lot of questions and all of them err were answered so I didn’t have any doubts when I decided with what I purchased.

My husband and I stopped in while mattress shopping on Sunday afternoon and we happened upon Bruce and Matt. Bruce greeted us as we walked in the door and asked how he could help us. We explained what we were looking for and told us about the 3 different types of firmness and asked what our budget was. He made several recommendations and was patient while we were figuring out what was really comfortable to us. We ended up finding a mattress in the close out section that was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Bruce and Matt didnt hesitate to get it out and put it on a frame so we could try it out. We never felt pressured or rushed while we were in the store. Mattress shopping can, at times, seem like car shopping, but Mattress Direct made it easy. Bruce and Matt were both very personable and we felt like we had new friends when we left. Weve been sleeping on our new bed for two nights now, and we are very happy. Switching to foam from springs is a bit of an adjustment, but I think well be much happier down the road! Thanks, guys! We appreciate you!

Bruce took his time to explain the benefits of multiple mattresses and helped my boyfriend and I find the best mattress within our budget. The check-out process was simple and the delivery was surprisingly quick. We appreciated that they dont charge extra to haul away the old mattress, unlike other stores in the area. We just passed our 90 day trial and we love our bed as much as the day we bought it. We hadnt had a pleasant mattress shopping experience until we came to this store. They also have a great referral program that earned us a free memory foam pillow.

Gregory was an excellent sales associate who was genuinely interested in my needs for a mattress. He scanned over 6 pages to find the right one for me. Even after we found the one I wanted I asked for more options and Greg did not hesitate. The mattress is being delivered to a store closer to where I need it thanks to Greg.
