I can tell some of the cashiers they have now do not like children. It is extremely obvious. Been coming here for 15 years and Ive seen the staff completely change. Cafe people are really nice as are a lot of the staff stocking the shelves.

One of my favorite places... the smell of books mixed with coffee. They had the magazines that I went in for. Friendly staff and helpful .

There is nothing as nice, if you are a reader, as actually holding the book you are reading. I love walking around this store smelling the freshness of their books. Always a clean store filled with helpful staff of you get stuck searching for a book.

Love love love coming here with my friends to browse their selection. They have a wide variety from romance and mystery to manga and comics. You will have to do a bit of extra digging if you want to find that random book in a series you read. The workers are always ready to help and browse their catalogs for it as well

I went there for a school project to see the variety of books offered to minorities. I did not see many for some minorities such as indigenous people. Other than that, it was fine.

Nice store. Every time I come, I see something new. And i come there regularly. Open till 9 pm. Can sit at the starbucks cafe.

Great selection of books. If its not in stock, they can get it for you and ship it to your house. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the cafe is a must...great coffees and food. I enjoy shopping in places where people remember my name. And I love Barnes and Nobles.

I love Barnes and Noble. I was helped immediately and cheerfully today when looking for a particular book as a Christmas gift for my 4th grade grandson The store (Fairview Hts IL) was set up for safe distancing and everyone wore a mask. There were many deals on tempting items and I grabbed one for myself and one for my spouse in addition to the item I came for. Sure hope they will stay in our community forever! Shopping online does not give you the opportunity to assess a books bulk, the size of the font, the attractiveness of illustrations, etc. Long live brick and morter bookstores!

The cutest book store. Atmosphere is great. The children’s section is welcoming for all the little kiddos. I love spending time in the cafe working being surrounded by books!

Whenever I go into this Barnes and Noble, its never too busy. Perfect for a little outing during these uncertain times. Plus, you really cant go wrong with fresh coffee and fresh books. This store is my happy place.

The store was just what youd expect at a Barnes & Noble. It was well stocked, organized, clean, and bright. The service was efficient and quick.

I came in looking for my friends just-released childrens book and the woman working the childrens area was great. She took me right to the book and when I told her it was my friends she even offered to redo the display so it was facing outward and I could get a picture. I wish Id gotten her name!

I would categorize this as a moderately high end book store. Plenty of the most popular titles in every major genres, great games and little gifts, a small coffee shop so you can really get comfortable, and an overall mark up for your quality experience.

We had a terrible experience at the Starbucks in barns and noble.My little sister and her friend were trying to order a few drinks for us and the cashier, Sharon T, was making them feel uncomfortable about their order. She was very rude trying to explain that they are out of flavors/drinks, was raising her voice, and sounded annoyed. They finished their order and they pulled out their Starbucks gift card on her phone. The cashier then told them they could not pay with it because they do not use gift cards. The other lady that was working at the time was already starting on their order, so they really didn’t have a choice to not pay. They had to pay cash and couldn’t use their gift card.The cashier was very loud so other costumers who were waiting for their drinks heard everything too.

This was a pleasant experience. Who am I kidding? I’ve always had good experiences with B&N.I was in IL for the weekend visiting my sister. We both love books. I was please at the selection of historical romance books :). After I had a good selection of books in my basket, my husband found a detective kind of game and a puzzle sphere. We went to check out and the associates were amazing. They let us use the coupons on my sisters account to get double the discount. We left with 120+ of goods for 88! That membership is worth it if your a bookie like me and my sister. We even decided to use those coupons you almost always get upon check out. You know? The one that is buy one get one free cookie? ^__^. I was informed it is basically a Starbucks. Ha! Who would’ve thought?I was really pleased with the cleanliness of the store, friendliness of the staff, and organization of the store too. :)

Lovely locations.Do not need a membership to purchase items that are fairly good prices. Quite atomosphere.Starbucks location is not a TRUE location, therefore the app does not work unfortunately, and some taste difference of the beverages. Fantastic range of items to choose for snacks however that many times are not common at general Starbucks locations.

For starters, I am not a reader at all whatsoever, ironically however I LOVE Barnes & Noble lol. The environment is beyond peaceful & quiet and the staff is so pleasant. The times where I was looking for something for myself, a gift for a friend or even the times that I take my son, I will say they do have a huge selection of books that youre bound to find whatever it is you are looking for. Theyre also super convenient in online purchasing...pick up is a breeze.If youre going for children, the kids section is also amazing for ever age. My son loves going and he loves going for story time. Another perk is if they sign up for the Kids Club the get a free treat from the bakery every year on their birthday i believe until age 12. But I love this store...everything about it

I am an avid reader. So I went into Barnes and Noble to see about the new 10.1 Nook. Adam was the gentleman that helped me. He was knowledgeable but not pushy. After answering my myriad of questions, I was able to make an inform choice.Checkout was seamless and quick. I would have given five stars but they did not allow a discount.The store was clean and orderly. They have a Starbucks if you would like coffee. They have places to sit and read. Lots of books are at your disposal.Plenty of parking and the restrooms were clean. They are handicapped accessible.I recommend this enjoyable family store. Take the family buy and read a book and enjoy the experience.

Love the smell and feel of a bookstore! I went there to purchase two books I could have easily gotten online, but I live not far from B&N Bookstore. Glad I visited. The guy who showed me to the books I wanted was not all that friendly, but the young lady at the checkout was very friendly.

This is my favorite Barnes & Noble within 100 miles of my residence. I love the layout of the store, the childrens area is superb, and their Starbucks is quick and on point. Clean bathrooms, helpful staff, and a bigger selection make this B&N the best.

Manager at B & N CAFE / Starbucks was not very pleasant. She made me feel as if my question regarding their product selection was a waste of her time.( please forgive me Im just assuming that she was the manager)I enquired about the Starbucks Komodo Dragon coffee. She snapped at me and said they are not a Starbucks coffee shop. I politely asked her arent these Starbucks products that youre selling, she said yes but we are not a Starbucks.I choose a different flavor of coffee beans and asked the cashier if they could please grind it for. She went the stock room the manager came out of the back and asked if I had paid for the product. I said not yet I just asked a question. The cashier reinterated that I had only asked if it could be ground. The cashier was very kind and curtiious.I enjoy shopping at Barnes & Noble but I will drive the extra 2 miles to buy my coffee at a Starbucks where I have had excellent customer service before..I believe she didnt know I had read their sign in their waiting area.;Do not touch things you do not plan on purchasingI purchased what I touched.I truly hope things change for the better😢😇

This is a very open floorplan B&N. Decent selection with a helpful staff. The kids area is nice and I like that it is separate from the toys. Helps keep my kids from wandering off.

Love to go in, find a couple of books to buy, and then go to their Starbucks. Today I had their creme brulee latte! Fantastic. Love to relax and look at my new books!
