After much research I concluded that the Grilla Grills Chimp was my choice for my Pellet Grill. I was happy to find that Grilla Grills had a showroom in Dallas. The showroom was beautiful and I cannot say enough about my salesperson, Curtis. He went out of his way and took time in explaining the construction and the positive aspects of the Chimp. He also assisted me with several accessory add ons. He was warm and friendly and made me feel valued as a customer. The Chimp as very easy to assemble and I needed no directions for a 20-minute assembly time. I look forward to my first brisket cook this week. Kudos to Grill Grills and Curtis for a top notch job, as well as their respect for the military and first responders. Well done!

Our Chimp is the best! It is the perfect size & design, and since it’s actually portable it holds the promise of adventures beyond our deck someday. I can confidently - and cleanly - prepare delicious smoke/grilled foods and monitor everything from my phone. We are having all kinds of fun. Our Big Green Egg is sitting off in the shade, untouched this summer. We moved up!

What a great experience. After research, decided to go local with Grilla as they have a showroom in Dallas. Was thrilled with the experience and knowledge. George was great, answered all my questions and made recommendations as to what additional toys I may want based on my cooking preferences. He made us feel right at home and shared pics on some of the tricks he does when using his smoker. After first cook, I realized I wanted an additional shelf for the top rack of which, again, treated me like family. He made a point to tell me to contact him should I have any issues. Totally thrilled with this purchase and cannot recommend enough. The quality of the product build is second to none and I look forward to using my Silverbac for many years to come.

The place was great. The people were extremely helpful and love the product. Just bought it yesterday and am eager to get it working. There have been an issue or two but we have contacted customer service. We are expecting a quick response and resolution. Once the issues have been resolved then hopefully I will be able to bump this up to a 5 star rating! Looking forward to get more products!

After a month of research, I decided to purchase the Grilla Grill Chimp and took a drive up to the Farmers Branch store. EVERYONE in the store was friendly and extremely helpful. Explained all aspects of the grill and answered all my questions. Before I left they wanted to reassure me that if I had any questions that they were only a phone call away. Un-packing takes some time because of how they have protected every part of the grill. I can not wait to start grilling on my Chimp. Thanks Grilla Grills!

Started off well, but at this point its become a nightmare and a pain. My smoker was outstanding for a year. Then the power quit working. Had to get a new power board and replaced it. Replaced that and got power, but then I was getting no fire. So I had to replace the ignitor. Well while trying to remove the ignitor several of the screws broke off as I guess from the heat in the grill kind of adhered them to the fire pot.So now I am at the point where I am being told; At this point it seems that youre going to have to drill out the broken screws.You wont be able to re-use the original holes.Next drill a few new holes and use self tapping screws to attach the burn pot to the base. I mean its become a freakin DIY project at this point just to get a year old smoker to work. I loved it early on and raved about it to people, but I honestly HATE it at this point with all the headaches.I will say their customer service is very responsive. I am just starting to doubt the quality of this smoker.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products. I found their grills/smokers to be built heavier than many of the well-known brands. I am just beginning to learn the smoker but I am happy with the experience.

A few weeks ago, my wife and I went to Dallas for a two day getaway. We went to Grilla Grills and purchased a Chimp. I absolutely love it. They will have a hard time making me go back to a charcoal grill. I love the two modes, one keeps temp really tight and the other creates more smoke. I will be smoking ribs on my chimp soon. I am going to incorporate a smoke tube and use pellets in it. This is supposed to create more smoke for a few hours. Ive done burgers, sausage, steamed some veggies, and cooked steaks and potatoes on it, so far. Everything has turned out greatGeorge and his crew were very friendly and helpful, as well.Great advice on the grill grate, by the way.I got a great sear on my steaks.

Two years ago I discovered Grilla Grills when researching pellet smokers ... without question my decision to go with the Silver Bac smoker was one I would do again ... matter of fact I loved the ease and quality of how it operated that I bought a second smoker for my son ...This week I had a minor issue with my grill and discussed it with the guys in the Dallas store ... these guys are amazing ... they took the time to answer my question and even showed me a video addressing my concerns ... now that is quality service that will earn my business again ... I have already picked out my new grill and will order it in a few weeks ... good job guys and I’ll see you soon ...UPDATE (7-10-21) … outdoor kitchen coming along quite nicely … received the Primate a couple of weeks ago and have completed several cooks … quality grill / griddle … outdoor kitchen is complete with Silver Bac and Primate … doesn’t get any better than this!!!

Stop by the Texas store today to grab the AT cart for my silver back. Ended up getting spice rack and some rubs also. The show room looked awesome and the guys were very helpful. Can’t wait to stop by again.

I knew what grill I wanted, Kong. The guys at Farmers Branch were great and patient answering my questions. First cook on the grill turned out awesome and I was surprised how little charcoal it took to get the heat needed, and how well it kept the heat. Next up is to smoke some meat!

Dont trust everything you see in their website. I ordered last may and received it June, weeks after their promised shipping date (a customer service rep promised Ill get it before Memorial day). The packaging was in tatters, the heavy product (which should be shipped through freight - honestly instead of regular ground, cutting cost maybe) got scratches and dents all over. You, grilla grills company, cant really blame the carrier for not caring about a 100 pound box while it is being shipped.I found issues everywhere. The only time they got things right was when they took my payment. After that it was a mess of a time. Delayed shipment, unfulfilled promises, sub standard and damaged product, you name it they did it. I emailed their customer service, told them of my issues, showed them numerous photos and they said they will do right by me by sending free wood chips (20 dollar WOW) that I never got anyway. Plus they absolutely dont care about veterans (they also promised a veteran package that never came).If youre going to buy from these guys, just visit their store, inspect the grill, and make sure that that is the exact grill they will bring out to you when you check out. Unless you want a headache that will stay for months on end. Then go ahead and order from them online.

Frankly, the accessories offered in the store are very reasonably priced, so we began outfitting our Grilla with several items. The whole buying process was a breeze and I know were going to really enjoy our new smoker!!

Picked up a great pellet grill from some great people! I have been researching pellet grills for a while and decided to take a trip to the store to see these in person. They were real nice and laid back and told me all about the grills without being a typical sales person and pressuring me. Was worried about it fitting in my car but they didnt mind measuring and we determined it would be snug but would indeed fit. They were real careful with loading to make sure not to damage my car while putting it in. Great experience and will definitely be going back to pick up supplies from them.

I have owned my SBA now for almost 2 years and can say that I researched for 6 months the pellet grills on the market and found that Grilla was the best value of all the brands. The smoker is great but the customer service is outstanding. The true test is after using for a long time, I would absolutely recommend and buy again. Grilla does not blow smoke at you, instead they let you own the smoke and take care of you with great products and service.

Saw them at the RV show and I picked up the fridge and sink combo and we love the value for money, I cannot build it myself for less it is everything I needed and at the right price. The employees at the stand immediately knew the answer to all of my questions and put no pressure on my to buy. They also went out of their way to help me load it into my vehicle.

I had an issue with the control board on my Chimp and after walking me through a diagnostic test over the phone I decided to run it over to Farmers Branch for them to take a look. When I arrived, three staff members came out to great me and immediately unloaded the grill and started their own diagnosis.After about 20 mins minor issue was solved and I was on my way. Family owned with friendly service...what a nice change of pace. Highly recommend Grilla! These guys take pride in what they represent and in their livelihood. Go get one. Made In USA too!

Called this morning and asked if they had the grill I wanted in stock locally. The guy I spoke to said they did. I came in to the store later in the day and the guy recognized me immediately. I purchased the Silverbac a few weeks ago and the Primate last week. Love both of these grills. They are both solid and well made. I have cooked briskets, steaks, sausage and jalapeños on the Silvebac and they were perfect. I have cooked steak, fried potatoes, bacon, and toasted bread on the griddle in the primate. Everything cooked well and it was fun. Buy these grills you will be happy you did!!!!!!!

I purchased a Chimp last week from Gorilla Grills store in Dallas. A good friend has the Silverback and the company came highly recommended. Assembly was a breeze, maybe 10-15 minutes from opening box to having it ready to go. I followed the stores recommendation for seasoning the grill which was pretty much the same as the instructions. Ive used the smoker 3 times so far and couldnt be happier, everything is coming out amazing. Instructions are easy and clear, recipes on their website are great and the experience in the store was great, no high pressure and there to answer all my questions and encouraged me to call with any more.

Big thanks to Jeremy. Delivery was stalled via FedEx, as I ordered from the online store and the grill was coming from Michigan. Jeremy stepped up and personally delivered a Chimp grill from the Farmers Branch store instead. And get this, the original delivery showed up today all beaten up and the Farmers Branch store is coming to get rid of right off my front porch. Thanks very much!

I had been looking at Pellet Grills for a while, after seeing and touching almost all brands available to actually see, the Grilla Alpha was by far constructed better. The customer service at the Farmers Branch location was awesome, Jeremy answered all my questions, without being pushy. I called on a Saturday morning, they put it together and I was grilling Saturday night. There was no assembly charge. 👍

I started doing research around three weeks before pulling the trigger on a new grill. after the research decided on a grilla, found out that there was a Dallas tx store so decided to go look at them first hand. arrived and was greeted and the conversation started. now the grilla doesnt have every feature i wanted in a pellet grill, but the sales guy showed me that i do not need all that. was extremely helpful is showing ways to cook on this without the sear option i wanted. even had videos of his own personal grill and how he uses it. was glad i went there first, might have bought something i would have regretted if not. looking forward to my first cook on it today and many years to come.

I bought a new Alpha smoker today and Sam and George from Grilla were great from the start. They were both knowledgeable in the product and very helpful in making my decision. George even showed me some personal pics of cooks from his Alpha. The product seems very well built with some heavy duty stainless steel cooking grates and stainless drip pan. Just back from the Farmers Branch/Dallas showroom. After lots of research I had narrowed down to either the grilla or silverback. Finding the local showroom was a pleasant surprise. Everyone there was very friendly and went over all the differences like it was their first time, let me go to town handling both and even pointed me over to the dent n scratch grills that would save me money. I decided on a new grilla, but found that the box nor the bare grill was going to fit in my vehicle 🙁 - no problems, theyre delivering the grill to me in a couple of days, no charge 🙂 - I know its free shipping of the web, but never expected theyd deliver from the store 👍. Kuddos to both employees - even with several families starting to come in, the were making sure everyone felt welcome and multiplexed between families to keep everything moving smoothly with no one feeling ignored. Picked up a Chimp at the Dallas Store. Everything was ready to go and in stock. I had a 4 hour drive so they made sure the grill was safe and even placed a tarp around it so that it would not get rain on. The grill was very easy to setup! Did the burn in and now I’m cooking my first pork loin to try it out.

I recently purchased the Silverbac as the unit from a materials of construction perspective appeared to be superior to Traeger. Unit is superior to Traeger from a materials perspective; however, I have tried to use it twice and both times the unit has started on FIRE! The unit is unable to maintain a fire in the burn pot and begins smoldering and then feeds in an excessive amount of pellets into the burn pot eventually overflowing it and then flowing into the bottom of the smoker of which then combusts into a large flame! I would not place this unit next to anything combustible, especially your home as it’s “Safety Hazard”! I have now been working with technical support for over a week and they now have me swapping wires in the field in attempt to help them troubleshoot it remotely! You would think with a safety hazard as severe as this they would send you a new unit and avoid the risk associated with my safety and that of my home!Update, 6/12,2021 received control board and I installed per the video that was sent to me. Unit started right up and fan started and it heated up to 200 degrees quickly so I was hopeful it was fixed! Fan shut off at 200 degrees and it slowed climes to set point t of 350 without the fan ever starting again. Put meat on and about 10 minutes into the cook it started smoking heavily between the hopper and the grill. Opened the hopper/pellet bin and smoke started billowing out of hopper. Shut unit down and had to finish cook on old gas grill. Nothing but problems with this grill! I want to return this lemon!!!!

This is my husbands second smoker and he is in love. We love the product and the great accessories that can be added. We have been to this showroom 4 times and their customer service has been top notch with each visit.

Everything was clean and orderly, a nice environment to browse. Best part yet, I have had my Grilla Grill for a month and have been cooking on it almost nightly...very impressed with the quality and ease of use. I had been doing research on wood pellet grills for a while. I looked at Trager Pro 575, Weber SmokeFire Gen2, Camp Chef Woodwind, Green Mountain Grills, Pit Boss and I was disappointed with the quality of these grills. Those grills either had bad reviews or were flimsy! I was hesitant to buy the Grilla Grill Silverback online so I was very happy to see that they had a showroom in Farmers Branch. The store was clean, organized and showcased all of their grills, accessories, wood pellets, rubs, sauces, and they even had t-shirts. Upon entering I was greeted by very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I inspected the Silverback and the quality far surpassed the other grills that I looked at, especially the Traeger pro. This grill is heavy, solid and well constructed. I purchased the Silverback, the accessory kit, front shelf and the cord wrap and I am very happy with my purchase. Since I was able to fit the grill in my Honda CR-V, I was eligible to get a few freebies which was awesome!!! The staff loaded the grill for me and encouraged me to call if I ever had any questions. This was a great experience. I will be back because I realized I should have also purchased a grill mat!

Been looking for a Pellet smoker but choose Grilla based on other reviews and the customer service reputation. Visited the showroom in Texas, Curtis and all of the staff were extremely helpful.What persuaded me was the stainless steel inside, dual temp controller and the double wall construction.... I bought the OG and am extremely impressed with the smoke it delivers!!

I researched and researched pellet smokers as I wanted to add to my options for smoking meats. I literally tripped across this product while reading an article that made reference that the product they were reviewing was not as structurally sound and built as good as a Grilla Grill. I finally pulled the trigger on a Grilla Alpha and I have used it three times since I received it yesterday. My goodness what a quality product that holds it temperature and with the Alpha Smoke feature, provides the same smoke flavor as my stick burner. The quality of the build and how it holds the temperature bodes well for the winter and not having to buy a thermal blanket. The set-up was so easy and the videoes they have produced make it so easy to follow. From the moment the truck dropped it off to finishing the seasoning the grill was exactly 60 minutes (45 minute run time on the seasoning). I have a small apartment patio and it fits perfectly and is so easy to maneuver in to place as well.Now, on to customer service. I have never experienced such a quick response to my emails and questions and never once have I been made to feel as if I am a bother. The only reason that I give the Grilla and Grilla Grill company 5 stars is because they dont have 10!! Dont hesitate to pull the trigger on this pellet smoker.

I drove an hour to the Farmers Branch location since I saw they were having a scratched/dent sale. Mark had posted a video advertising it. Got to the store and George said they didnt have ANY grillas with dent/scratches. But he absolutely took care of me since I came to see them. Picked up a new Grilla, extension grate, pro wheels, and a rub. Fantastic customer service. He even served me some chicken that he was cooking on a Grilla. I might be an hour away but I want to find time to get out there again. Ive found my new favorite BBQ company.

Have been doing research on the various Pellet Grill offerings for over a month now and had my selection narrowed down to the Grilla Grills Silverback Pro model. Spoke to the service staff at the Farmers Branch, Texas showroom and they were very helpful in answering all my questions regarding the Grill and its various options. Made the purchase today and am now awaiting its delivery - 5 Stars all the way for Grilla Grills...

Great experience stopping in to buy a grill. The Team answered all my questions, were attentive, loaded the grill into my car, and provided a couple free goodies for buying in store (free rub, sauce, pellets, and shirt). I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Quality products and A+ customer service.

I had been researching pellet grills for the past year off and on. When this location opened locally, I went by to visit and the staff was very friendly and helpful.Even before I bought a grill, their customer service was top notch. I followed their Facebook page, and it was refreshing to see a company respond so well to customer feedback. If any changes or suggestions were offered, it didnt take long for something to be implemented to address any shortcomings.I went back approximately two months after my initial visit, and the representative remembered me. I ended up purchasing a Silverbac and their outdoor kitchen set. My patio was still under construction at the time of purchase, so they even held the products until it was complete.If you are thinking of purchasing online, and this place is somewhat close - make sure you choose to stop in! They offer freebies for picking up local from their storefront :)

Picked up a new Grilla from the store. I’m still trying to figure out how to get smoke flavor to the meat, but the grill is well made and the shopping experience was great. Very attentive staff and seemed to really care.

Picked up my Silverback about 2 weeks ago. Great customer service, and they were quick to help me get it loaded. If you are considering a pellet grill or kamado style grill check these guys out, you wont be disappointed.
