Halal, Great prices, Fresh & Delicious looking meat, and friendly staff. Oh yeah. Did I mention, they have beef bacon?! Had to pick one up myself. Also a variety of arabic sauces and spices like kefta and shish-tawook sauce. Extremely clean. Definitely stopping by next time I need meat!

I do not recommend others to come to Jouni Meat shop.I got stomach sickness with diarrhea. I ended up seeing my family doctor.I strongly discourage anybody to get meat from Jouni Meat.I strongly encourage customers to explore better Halal meat shops.Overall, it was a horrible experience and this affected my health.

Great customer service and quality product. Bought few pounds of lamb, kingfish and pomfret recently. Everything was well packaged and cut to personal liking. Also I did not find weighing issues as other negative comments mentioned. I weighed all the items I got and it was exactly what I ordered. I’ve been a long time customer here and tried other butcher shops nearby but others haven’t beaten this place for me yet so I’ll continue my future purchases from here 👍🏽

I have been buying meat from Jouni for the last 5 years and I have never had any concerns. I would recommend this place for fresh meat.

My family and I have been doing business with the owner for over 20 years. The meat is great, the selection is great, and I can’t remember my parents going anywhere else because of the excellent service they receive here. Highly recommend to anyone in the Farmington/West Bloomfield area. They also have another location.

Always great quality, meat, chicken, and fish. Staff is responsive and friendly, happy to answer questions. Ive been to both locations with the same experience. I love the online ordering I can swing by and pick up its always ready and with the 10% discount online! I cant ask for a better experience.

Not sure what’s happening with all the weird 1-2* reviews, I feel like they are in a different dimension. I only have good experiences here, always good quality meat and chicken. Staff is friendly. I have witnessed weird requests in broken English and staff doing what they can to understand and accommodate. If you have your paranoia about how much is being “stolen” from you in the trimming and cutting process, do it home by yourself. Or ask for the trimmings to be packed for you to take home. Honestly I have a scale and I compared and I have never been “ripped off”.I had times where they were so busy that they forgot one of my bags, or I forget it and I forget to check. Next time I go there they remember me without me mentioning anything. They apologize (even when it’s my goofy mistake) and make it right by me. They are honest and I appreciate that. If you ever encounter a staff member being grumpy, maybe ask how is their day and be nice, we are all humans.

The place is actually clean, but the way employees are acting is horrible. A man Ghasaq, who was serving me last time acted like he doesnt hear anything. Also messed up my order and tried to improve the words I pronounce, his English by the way is not the best. So I was very dissatisfied and disrespected. I was recommending this place to my friends and family before because Usually they took a good care of their customers especially someone who choose this place for years. But not anymore . After my todays visit I have only bad feelings. If employee is tired or has some family problems they shouldnt work and talk to people at all.

My new go-to place for halal meats. Picked up 12lb of marinated chicken for a work cook-out, it was made fresh on the spot. Everyone at work LOVED it and was asking me for the recipe. Of course I told them it was a secret family recipe :D All joking aside, this place has top notch meats and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic! The staff here are always so welcoming and gracious. We have had the kafta, kabobs and ribeye several times. All are amazing. We always ask for cooking instructions and the gentlemen are always happy to provide instructions. You cannot leave without each person thanking you. I love their passion, appreciation but even more their quality of product.

Clean store, friendly and courteous staff/owner, reasonably priced, good quality stuff and great service! They cut, trim, chop and mince to your satisfaction. Lots of choices for not just ethnics but EVERYBODY. What is not displayed can be obtained upon request. It is simply a great place to shop for meat (beef, lamb and goat) poultry and fish! Their warm welcome and personlized service puts the customer in a good mood as soon as he steps in the store.

Today I had a bitter experience. There was a staff who was very rude I never had this experience before. For any reason he was shouting at me but I kept my calm and finished my purchases and walk away. Today whom I always place my order was on leave and I have to place my order to this gentleman. I ordered a shoulder and three chickens.While cleaning the entire shoulder and he put a small portion of meat aside and forget to include it, a person who was clearing the meat in the table and he took the small portion into a container and kept it in the freezer. I was abt to ask this he started yelling. Hence I kept calm.

The meat they sold me was a good quality cut and the guys there were friendly and attentive. They did have a lot of ethnic items there that werent really my thing, wish they would have had more of a selection of cuts displayed either on a sign or in the case. Over all good place to get meat.

I always go the Orchard and 12 mile Jouni Meat but so far only one guy is only honest and the rest are steal the meet chunks. I seen many times while one guy cutting chicken just by throw away some pieces into taken out skin waste and other guy comes and pick those stolen meat and save. Already they charging for chicken 2/99/lb and top of that they stealing the meat which is not fare to customers. if you ask the goat meat bone less and fat less they will give as you asked and they will steal more meat with taken away fat and they dont tell up front but they will add extra price $2 which is cheating to customers. . I also seen they will sell again that taken away fat with meat chunks in ground meat and sell to other customers. If you ask any back the very big personality guy will yell and very rude to customers. so recently me and my friends stopped and going to Jouni Meat and glad that we found Namaste Fresh Meat Market and they always treat the customers very well and most importantly providing very high quality fresh meat without cheating.

Extremely arrogant staff. the person who takes the orders over the phone has no aticates what so ever. I have been placing my order here for a long time when there was the other guy picking up the phone. He understood the customers requests well and was very polite. But now the staff has changed and my past 3-4 experiences were very bad.The baby goat is mostly tender but then there are a few times when you can tell the quality is not that great. The goat bone marrow bones they sell is definitely not goat. You can clearly tell it but the smell of the cooked meat.

Would be good if they weigh in front of us. Seems like we get much less than what they bill for. They say they take skin off the chicken after weighing but the meat seems very less.

The worst meat market I have ever been to. First of all they were arrogant and extremely dishonest. I bought 10 lbs of beef and when I brought them home, I found out that more than 5 lbs were just fat. Which I had to throw away. I never had this kind of experience. Also their meat is either super expensive or they were just super dishonest to charge me more. I normally buy meat from a middle Eastern shop in Hamtramc which is better quality and half the price. I am never ever going back to Jouni. That was my first and last time.

I called and ordered beef burger. The meet didnt have any salt or spices. When called again to ask the reason, they said I should have asked for for salt and spices! Really? I dont want the refund. You Just lost a customer.

I got 20 lbs of chicken. One lb per bag.All the bags we smaller than one on.Most of them were 2/3 of a lb.

I am a regular customer of this store and like the place but I had a really bitter experience today when I went home with the meat. I ordered meat but half of the order was bones. I didnt know bones and marrows are these expensive at this place.
