World Stone Group was recommended to us by some friends and we couldnt be happier with the counter-tops and the service. Trent was amazing in walking us through the process and getting us taken care of in a timely manner. There was slight adjustment that noticed and needed after the installation, and they were able to get it serviced quickly and painlessly for us. We purchased our quartz countertops from World Stone Group and had them installed last month March 2021. The quality work done to have everything fit perfectly was exceptional. The installers that came that day were polite, careful when bringing the pieces in, and didnt leave until everything was installed to our satisfaction. Trent is the salesman you meet when you walk in. He was attentive to every detail to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. When I had a question, he called me back right away. This company was recommend to me. Trent personally helped with my selection and he found the perfect slab. I also purchased the sink from them, as they had a selection of higher quality than the big box stores,Every employee I dealt with was very polite and professional. They scheduled the on-site measure really quickly. The counter top was ready sooner than expected. When they came to install, on a Monday, it turned out my cabinets were not level, that was on me as I did not hire them to prep the kitchen. They rescheduled the install that same week, which was a pleasant surprise. The installers did have to do some cutting into the wall, they used a tool with a vacuum to limit dust. They did install the sink, but do not hook up the plumbing, Trent explained this up front. I love the counter top, sink, and highly recommend this company.

World Stone Group has been a great experience for our kitchen remodel. We remembered seeing them at the Home Show @ Suburban Show Place and thought lets give them a try. Even during the pandemic, it was an easy process and safe to make an appointment and make our selection of quartz. The sales team (Trent) was extremely knowledgeable of all materials and helpful with selection. Arranging an installation date was quick and efficient. I called a couple days ago and spoke to Trent. I inquired about the Quartz Silestone countertops and asked if I could have the same type Quartz slab as my backsplash. He said absolutely. He told me of all the choices and I said I would call back to schedule an in home visit.So, I called back today and I spoke to I believe John. He was very unenthusiastic to say the least. When I asked him about installing a Quartz Silestone backsplash he he replied we dont do repair work. I told him I wasnt looking for a repair. Im looking to hire you guys to install a new Quartz backslask and countertop.. He sounded as if he would rather be in line at the DMV than doing his job as he painfully said we do not even sell Quartz. I said, WOW! The website states that you do. Trent stated that you do!To sum this up, there are plenty of other companies out there. I will make sure all my real estate contractors are informed about this World Stone Groups communication

My kitchen was just completed and I LOVE my granite from World Stone. It pulls the entire kitchen together. They were fabulous to work with. I had a complex layout and they had great suggestions and ideas. All my friends have commented on how awesome my counter tops are. I love the mica and sparkle of my granite I highly recommend using them. Everyone thinks I paid a lot more than I did!! Success.

My wife and I went to the World Stone retail store on Industrial Park Drive in Farmington Hills Michigan this past summer. We were doing a major kitchen renovation. We designed our kitchen to be doubled in size, the finished size is 20 x 17, we bought a Sub Zero refrigerator, freezer and wine cooler, we also bought a Wolf gas range. We had all new Cherry wood cabinets installed. I tell you all this to make you aware that we wanted the best you could buy for this kitchen. Our experience with World Stone was exceptional from the time we first worked with a man by the name of Trent. We shopped 5 or 6 other stone companies, all were good and all had products we could buy. What we liked about World Stone is they made us feel comfortable with our shopping experience, helped us select the granite we wanted and had patient with us when we changed our mind and selected another granite. We have a island that is 10 by 5, I was concerned as to how they would get that piece in our kitchen, I think it took 6 men to get this piece in our kitchen and on our island. I dont know how they did it but they did it expertly with out a hitch. The delivery men were strong to do this job and very polite, they are the kind of work men you like in your home. There was so much to choose from, thought I knew what I wanted until I got there and realized just HOW many options we had!Trent was incredibly helpful to us, and very patient with me :)The installers were courteous of our time and home! World Stone Group is very unethical. Their sales manager would not call back my contractor, after several attempts. I called to talk to a higher-level manager, who could not find my order (under my name or my contractors). When they called me back they tried to blame their communications issues on my contractor. Originally, their sales manager said they could get my project out of one piece, which was incorrect. This delayed the process several more weeks. They took the deposit 7/2 (over two weeks after we started this project.) They were far more worried about whether we would give them a poor review - which they clearly deserve, rather than meeting my needs. They said theyd cancel the order, as a threat against a poor review. We believe they NEVER placed the order in the first place, since the office manager could never find it. DO NOT do business with these people, they are dishonest and unethical. After one call to a firm in Plymouth we were able to place an order, same product, with a delivery date less than two weeks out.

This is the place. They have a great selection of quartz and granite in stock. We selected our slabs then were offered a tour of their manufacturing area. As an engineer, I was very impressed. They delivered the quality that was promised. I would recommend everyone to go here.

Weve used World Stone Group for three properties over the course of the last four years, most recently last week - two condos and one house, and they have been fantastic to work with. I have never purchased counter tops before. I did research a bit online. We decided to go with quartz because I read it is the best for durability. I went to a few places, they only have small samples. After going to 5 places, We ended up at World Stone. They were great!! They had slab after slab of quartz. I felt way more comfortable picking from whole slabs then samples. I met with Lynda then Trent. They made it really easy for us to get our project going. We picked our exact slabs and they scheduled a measure for our counters. A couple weeks after that, my kitchen looks great. Thank you World Stone for making it easy! Me and my husband would highly recommend them to anyone. Very professional start to finish. We love our counters!

When Trent McCarty at World Stone says just give us a chance - I know we can find what you are looking for - believe him!!We wanted Fantasy Brown Granite - which is a hot item right now -and Trent bird dogged the pieces he thought would be perfect. Good thing! When we went to view the slabs at Dwyer, two other groupswere looking for the same thing and (since he tagged ours) we got the last slabs. Those slabs, by the way, - were exactly the type of Fantasy Brown we wanted! airy, diagonal flow with equal brown, white, and gray.We were very descriptive about all the aspects of the design and I believe that really helps! For example, we knew we didnt want seams inthe finished product - and with our layout it was possible - but had we not said that we had that expectation, we may have been surprised.Long and short of it - there were no surprises - except that it was a more affordable, smoother, efficient, and beautiful result than any of the other designs I have been involved with.We will continue to recommend World Stone Group! My wife and I shopped around tirelessly for Quartz in our kitchen. We decided to go to world Stone and we are so glad that we did. We appreciated the attention and service we received on our first visit, and I can be pretty picky (ask my wife). The pricing beat everyone else hands down. It was nice seeing a Full slab of Quartz instead of a little sample piece like everyone else, that made us more confident in what we were buying. Everyone from sales, measuring, and install were nice and pleasant to work with. We even had a date set for measuring and install and because our cabinets were installed soon than we expected we called World stone to see if we could get the measuring and install done sooner than what was scheduled, they were able to change the date for us on both measuring and install, and we had our kitchen done sooner than expected. We would highly recommend World stone, and have already done so to our friends.

Went to the warehouse yesterday to meet with Rick. We went over the layout for counter tops. Could not have been nicer or more friendly and helpful. Pleasure to work with. I will repost after install.We have gotten our counter tops installed (3/6/18)after delays on my end. Kerry was very accommodating with the scheduling. There was a small delay on arrive time not a big issue. Install went well the guys were great. After wiping the counters down my wife and I noticed a few small chips. We have not spoken with WSG yet to see what can be done I do have confidence that they will be able to solve the issue.

World Stone Group supplied and installed my granite and did a fantastic job. They had the job done when they promised and the people were very efficient and friendly. I would gladly use this company the next time I need a granite countertop.

If you want a company to not show up on time, cut stone in your house, no show and leave you hanging when they might come back theyre your company. Also edges not polished for pieces I was to install myself, whereas the installation manager had stated they should have never left the building but never resolved. Other issues but you get the picture.One pic is the debris left in the tub and never vacuumed up at the end of the day and the other is my exhaust fan (and duct not shown) caked with fine granite dust from cutting in the bathroom. The other exhaust fan was also caked with dust. I do not recommend. You have to call them for updates, not good communication. They have nothing but excuses.

Rob and his staff are one of my most dependable contractors, meeting their schedules, installing a quality product and following up with great customer service. I have recommended them to numerous customers, always a pleasure to work with.

We recently had both the kitchen and bathroom countertops in our condo in Novi replaced by Stone world. During that time we sold our unit and needed the project completed to meet the closing date way ahead of schedule. Trent worked closely with our contractor and pulled us ahead in the schedule to help us meet the deadline. The new owners were wowed by the outcome and we are very appreciative of the effort of the team at World Stone. We couldnt say more about the service provided and responsiveness of Stone World. We highly recommend them...and Trent.

We purchased our quartz counter top and we were very pleased with the quality of the product and the service. Top notch experience for us.

We were on the hunt for soapstone. I found World Stone by accident. They are in an area with several other stone suppliers or fabricators. I walked in 5 minutes before they closed. Expecting a quick answer or brush off, I was met with a tour of the place and we never felt rushed. They did not have soapstone on site but gave me a list of 4 other suppliers they work with. We found what we were looking for and had worldstone quote us. Trents (My salesman) quote was the lowest of 5 others. I put down a deposit and the came out to do the template. Fast, prompt and the template guy is very good. Thats when we discovered that the slab we picked was not long enough to get a seam in the right place. Trent offered several suggestions to try an help. Ultimately we had to cancel the order. The seam location was a deal killer for us.But Trent and Worldstone treated us perfectly through out the process, even when we had to cancel. We ended up at another stone distributor/installer since they had the size slab we needed. But they have not given us the same treatment as World Stone. And we paid more than World Stones quote. WORLD STONE IS THE BEST SHOP WE WORKED WITH. Im so sorry it didnt work out. I hope to use them again in the future.

We had a terrible experience with World Stone. Our sink fell out while doing dishes. It turns out they didnt install it with any supports. Trent and the owner, Rob Straky blew us off and would not return our calls. With a sink full of water soaking through our wood floors and down through our drywalled basement ceiling, we were forced to file a home owners claim. Thousands of dollars later our insurance company is now going after theirs to try and recover the cost of the restoration and repairs. I wish I would have researched this company more before using them. I have now read similar reviews regarding their poor customer service and unwillingness to stand behind their work. Learn from our nightmare and find a more reputable company.

ZERO WOULD BE THE NUMBER. Stay away. My wife and I have been trying to get the counter they installed fix correctly since July 2014. Trent the salesman never calls back and always dodges us when he can. We left over 15 messages for the owner Rob Straky to get a hold of us but he must not care because he still hasnt called. As an owner of a large company myself I always encourage my customer to get a hold of my if they have any questions. Not here. Once they have your money good luck trying to get what you were promissed

Great customer service, reasonable prices and a great product! I recently remodeled my kitchen and purchased my granite countertops here. I originally went here because I called all around Metroo Detroit looking for someone who would hone a specific type of granite. (Not your usual absolute black) Not only were they the only ones who had the ability to do it on site, but they honed a piece for me while I waited, and showed me the process. It ended up that I did not like it and chose a completely different slab. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful through out the whole process, always responding to my many email and telephone questions.I am not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, as my countertops are certainly most granite. Or if they are not, they are fantastic and I would not change a thing.The installation team was very nice and any issues that I noticed after the fact were taken are of quickly I am VERY particular with the products I choose. I research everything to a ridiculous degree and I am very pleased with my countertops and the reasonable price I paid for them. I would highly recommend the World Stone Group.

The end product of our countertops being installed are nice. However, the process was not pleasant. Overall the company had poor communication. When the installers came out the first time, it was determined the cabinets were not level enough to install the countertops. I was not told the levelness of cabinets could be an issue, or that it was my responsibility. After the installers left it took a day and a half to reach World Stone to reschedule an install. I would assume World Stone would call me to determine what to do next, but it was the otherway around. I found a carpenter to level the cabinets on short notice. I have two children under three, so having an inoperable kitchen was a major inconvenience. The second miscommunication, is I had planned to reconnect the sink the night after the countertops were installed, but was told after they were installed the sink needs to sit for 24 hours for the adhesive to bond. I originally planned to only be without a kitchen two nights, but it ended up being 8 days. Overall, there was poor communication.

Trent was fabulous. GREAT customer service.!!

They only glued the sink to the countertop and never installed any sort of mounting hardware. Consequently, the sink just fell through making a HUGE mess!!!
