The super market is good for certain Hispanic products and produce. This review is mainly in regards to the cafeteria. My husband and I use to LOVE eating there as it was affordable and the food was great; they use to charge by meat and plate size. They recently switched to charging by pound and meat type. My husbands oxtail with rice and beans was $23 and my goat with rice and beans was $13…. After adding on one large horchata our total was around $44. That is absolutely insane. At that cost, we’re being robbed. You’re getting half the amount you use to get at a higher price. We will no longer be eating there as the prices are unaffordable.

Their food is fresh and delicious I love the oxtails the steak and onions and the stew chicken the seasoning is to die for I love this place

This was rice, beans and bones. Was supposed to be goat smh... I definitely wont be returning. Especially after seeing the picture review of meat being cut on a trash can.

Make sure youre checking the dates on the food and products you buy here!! I made the mistake of buying food here and didnt think I had to worry about frozen food being moldy and in bad qaulity. Weve gotten other things from here and its been horrible!

I’m torn, although this place offers a variety of items other super markets don’t, it’s so overpriced and their service is so horrible it’s almost like they hire people based on who looks angrier and more bother.

For the last year I have been buying a particular item with ebt now all of a sudden i cant... its herbs... and I been buying them... as much as I come here for certain items im so over this place.....Not to mention its listed as grocery

I went there today thinking this current situation will affect their food supplies but they still have all the items I need to cook my traditional Hispanic dishes.As I was shopping, I grabbed more items than I could hold in my hands and one of their employees offered to bring a cart for me without me even asking for it. That’s great customer service!

First time Ive been in for quite some time. Needed to find a couple of special dried chiles for a specific recipe. Staff was helpful and selection of peppers was amazing.Shelves looked a little threadbare though.Will be back now I know their stock better.

Great place to find international food.

Located on Bonanza drive, across Morganton Elementary, this market have a lot of produce, fish, meats, and even an international aisle. In addition, this market have buffet section, for those who wants a quick bite. Nice market!

The best International supermarket for military families around the area. I dont mind the 2hrs drive from my base station to Fayetteville so I can get stuffs I need.

This is one of my favorite places in Fayetteville now. I love that I can find everything from El Salvador that I miss, plus, I can find many of my favorite things from many other countries. Last week I was looking for something specific and I was able to request it and I got it! Awesome place to shop at a good price.

Great store.... Prices on fresh veggies and fruits are low.... Fresh meat prices are lower than or the same as big box stores... Baked goods are amazing.

I think what this store is doing is immoral and disgusting. There prices vary in each nationality consumer shopper. In other words, you can go to the Mexican section in the store and a product might be one price; but go to a Jamaican section and the same product might be three times higher. I found out the hard way. I know how they are set up so, to avoid paying $9-$12 dollars for rice, as I have. I priced it in each section and found it $3.99 in one section for a large bag. When I got to the register the represented charged me $9. I explained to her this was not so. The manger took it to the highest section and brought back the smallest bag, for $3.49. I said okay what ever. However, then they did not put the rice in the bag. I called and the represented remembered me and said to come pick it up. I want the next morning and went to the section where I had gotten the rice, and as I said the rice for a large bag was $3:99. I took a picture. The manager then told me to show her. I did. As, I was going I told her I understood how they had their store setup, and the price variations based on nationality. She smiled, got the bigger bag and charge me the .70 cent different.

This place has become terrible. At one point it use to be the best place in town to have some latin food for lunch. But not anymore. The food has become tasteless, dry and over priced. The rice was hard and had no taste. The pork chops look delicious, but upon trying to cut into it with no success, you soon realize it’s pointless and you soon find out it has no taste. Please avoid this place at all cost. Your wallet and your stomach will thank you.

This place gets 5 stars because it’s the only place around where you can get Latin and Caribbean groceries in one place. Usually I can find what I need here to make certain dishes. They have a nice selection of vegetables and fruits as well. All the different types of meat you might be looking for; chicken feet, oxtail etc. They also have a hot food bar that’s very affordable and very tasty. It has a wide selection. You can find a bakery section will all sorts of pastries. Some of my favorites things are the drinks and snacks that I can find here that is from back in the Caribbean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the one time I ran into an issue the manager on duty was very professional and took care of us.

Compare Foods is the most slept on jewel in the grocery industry! They have the freshest cut meats that can be cut to selection, cakes and pastries!! Best of all, they have a deli restaurant with seating for dine-in services!! They offer military discounts at the register every Tuesday and Monday thru Friday at the Deli Restaurant!! Fruits and vegetables are fresh! Its a great store with friendly staff!

The bakery is the only good part of this whole store. They are independently owned and operated from the store itself. Anything you buy at the bakery has to be paid for at the bakery. Freshly made and the bakery is SO nice and friendly. Recommend 10-10 FOR THE BAKERY. *Try the tres leche cakes!! 😋

The food court changes each day, but the chicken, goat, and ox tail are great. The rice and beans dish is not bland or spicy. The groceries range in price, sometimes being more expensive with regular items. You should go for the hard to find food items, like blood sausage or goat leg or pork belly, which are better priced.

I got married on Sept. 10, and I bought all my food here. The head cooks name was Maribel and she is absolutely the best! She took care of everything in an extremely professional way. And the food was a hit! They really delivered big time on my big day and I appreciate it immensely. Bravo, Compare foods and Maribel!!

Be careful when you buy items in this store, you have to always check everything before purchase, they never check their products and have of the stuff you buy is already expired and they don’t give you your money back when you bring back the expired items. Also their meets are not fresh

A contemporary Latino supermarket,you can find almost any food from South America or Latino Culture.The sweet bread area and the cafeteria is my best choice.The people here are very friendly staff.

We drive a few miles just to come to this store...yes shelved products are more expensive thats why we have Walmart and I guess the Dollar store. This stores core is their meats. We pick up a wide variety and its good quality meat. It should be treated as almost a specialty shop. Love the atmosphere and bright welcoming colors. People do dance here too.

The food court inside this beautiful store is amazing. Honestly the best ethnic food of its type in the area. They can deliver, the only issue is I do not speak fluent spanish, so I need to point to order. Very good food, making it a solid five star even with the language barrier.

If you are latino this is the place you come to get your products! Im puertorican and I can get my root vegetables, herbs (recao y cilantro), plantains, products from Kikuet, coffee, Malta, sofrito, just to mention a few... I even found Indulac cheese this week 🙌. The cafeteria is amazing and the bakery is really good. All the personnel are always very kind.

I only gave one star to be able to give my review... This place used to be a good place to buy our products however after different management the food is higher priced than other places, also the freezers are causing foods to have freezer burn, they do not have fresh food; it looks like its been there for months at a time and they put signs for Special but charge you higher than what the product cost and when you speak to the manager he refuses to honor the sale price. This place has declined so much that its a shame!!! They either need new management or keep losing many customers. The cooked food area is full of roaches which is disgusting... I prefer to cook at home since I know what goes or doesnt in my food. Yuk

Ive been shopping at this location since I was stationed here 4yrs ago and Ive had a bad experience only once where I was waiting in line to order food in the cafe area and the lady serving skipped me and took the lady order standing behind me after they laughed and talked the server walked away as if I wasnt there and when I called her back and asked if she was going to serve me she asked me what do you want as if I was a bother to her . I immediately went to see management and it was addressed on the spot atleast I felt it was. I dont speak Spanish so I assumed it was. I still shop at the location I just do not order from the cafe and this happened almost a year ago. The guys in the meat department are always very friendly and courteous. I find good quality meat and fruit. A little expensive sometimes, but worth it in my view.

Disgusting. Seriously, you should be ashamed. On top of having horrid customer service, their cafeteria is ROACH INFESTED!!! I am tempted to report y’all to the health department. I saw a girl open the fryer while I was ordering and guess what? The entire Roach Sanchez family seeped out of there like a plague of locust. Oh my word, I was sick to my stomach. I’m hungry and pregnant and just wanted some oxtails. Saw that and had to leave the girl with a half made plate. I’m sorry girl but y’all can’t be feeding people from a filthy kitchen like that. Ew! No fresh fish everything is frozen but the best price in the area for things like squid and octopus.Wide clean isles, neat and clean as any, well lit.I give them 2 stars because the customer service is terrible. Girl at checkout doesnt speak English. When she rang up my 2 items I was buying she asked me if I was military and I said no, but there is a big sign taped to the counter that says they offer 10% discount to military or senior citizens. When I noticed it I had already handed her my money. I said why didnt you give me a senior discount? She said oh you have to be 65 or older. Im 68 I told her, she said do you have any ID? So showed her my drivers license. She said oh too late. Finished... I said do the transaction over. What? She said.. I asked again she turned her back on me. Hey I said, do the transaction over and give me my discount. You asked me if I was military but you didnt ask me if I was over 65. No she said transaction is finished and besides I cant do it. I said get someone else who can do it, so she yelled in Spanish to the lady in customer service and she came over frowning heavily. Speaking only in Spanish to the girl, when Told her hey I didnt understand a word you said, she just waved me off, then they redid the transition over. Both of them never saying a word. Both clearly unhappy they had to spend 30 seconds to correct the mistake. I told them both they need to smile more at the customers. And left with my purchase. Will I go back, yes but next time Ill be prepared for the bad customer service. Dont accept mediocrity.

Coca-Cola con azúcar y bollería deliciosa. Gotta love Mexican markets! They also have a fantastic variety of fresh produce and meats that you cannot get at Food Lion or Harris Teeter. Plus a cafe with some of the best authentic Mexican food around.

This place has gotten so much better since I went in there years ago. Their products have expanded and are better stocked Their customer service visible. When I found that i had bought spoiled refrigerated products the supervisor didnt give me a hard time replacing them although the purpose and event in which we purchased them was affected i didnt lose my money. I would have easily given it 4 stars for its growth and product improvement plus the food bar had improved as well the few times I saw it or so i thought, Unfortunately my last few visits were disappointing. this last one bothered me most. Tuesday they were out of the meats that I like to requests from the meat area but was told by a helpful young gent theyd have it the next day, so I came back the next day on Wednesday only to find that they didnt have it, Ok not a big deal i asked for a different cut of meat only to be met by a butcher who clearly was reluctant to help me and kept telling me to go over to the shelves. I buy meat from this store because i dont have to get the meat i want prepackaged. Thats why i thought they were there. Already disappointed by his behavior i went to order from the hot foods only to be met by the young cashier who walked off midway of me talking to her to eat the strawberries that she picked through from the food bar. No excuse me, nothing, just turned around and walked off as i was talking to her I thought wow, should I have spoken Spanish, really, i waited as she took her time eating because those strawberries had to be good. but instead of coming back she sent one of the other ladies who was cleaning to come wait on me. I so wanted to tell her my thoughts on this and walk out but i knew the message wouldnt have been received well and my hungry kids wanted those #%^! $ empanadas that i never feel like making. I thought, well maybe they were shutting, the hot food bar down early since it was snowing and everything on the bar looked expired. Another lady was removing the food labels, and was picking through the fruits as well and since they were spraying down the floors and using soap and water which was splashing evetywhere they had to be shutting down because theres no way theyd serve that food.... It wasnt 5:30 yet so I dont know . .

Super cheap and they have some many hispanic products. And the only place with Puerto Rican and Dominican Food. I can make my own Mexican food at home now. I felt like I was in Mexico when I walked in.

Please do compare the prices here, they are expensive. That is if you can read the labels ok since about half the lights in there are either out or flickering. They also blast Mexican music, so if you dont listen to that normally it may give you a headache.
