I usually dont write reviews but I felt I should this time. My wood floors needed to be replaced, so I went on the web and started to review different companies. I wanted a good experience with my replacement. After much research, I hired Floor Covering International, a family owned business in Fayetteville, AR. The part I really liked was that Joe and Hunter brought the store (samples) to me. I could see how the different styles and colors would look with the furniture I have and the lighting in my house. They also hired the best contractor to lay my floors and they both arrived when the contractor come to look at the job and made sure everything was to my liking. They all took pride in what they were doing. They went above and beyond and kept in touch during the whole job. It was truly a wonderful experience. I am so happy with my floors. We had the pleasure of dealing with salespersons from Floor Coverings International after they were recommended to us on line. We wanted to update and replace flooring in our kitchen/dinning, and utility room in our home. The representatives came directly to our home bringing samples and information about their products and services. After looking at many options and getting information about each product, we made a decision on the product we wanted to order. [prices and service costs were explained to us along with a guarantee for services and workmanship.Our order was placed and in a short period of time a installation date was made. The installation crew arrived and began by moving appliances and/or any items necessary. Installation of the product went well and with detail to the job at hand. [during the installation process a floor panel had to be replaced, and the installers did so with the utmost of care.] The entire project was completed in a timely manner.We are very happy with the entire process. The flooring is beautiful and is an asset to our home. We would recommend this company to anyone needing flooring of great value, and service to go along with it.

I was amazed by the professionalism, accuracy to detail and even more importantly, the final outcome of my floors. They are just beautiful. I had my family room/dining room, hallway, 3 bedrooms and one bathroom done. They stayed on the job until it’s completion which was in a very timely manner. They made it easy to do business. I didn’t have to drive across town and walk past soda racks and shovels to find carpet. They brought the showroom floor to me.They asked me questions and looked at the problems I was having with the carpet I was replacing (pet stains) and made recommendations based on those issues. .They were trained and up to date on new technology, and helped me make decisions I would not have otherwise made. They showed me how to have a drastic increase on quality for very little financial increase.They guided me into making the best decision for me.I ordered the carpet, but the factory had an issue with availability. The owner, Joe Ferguson, ordered a higher quality carpet in the same color, and paid for it out of his pocket. Joe and Hunter were both very helpful during the process of replacing some flooring that was damaged by an A/C flood. Their communication was great throughout the process and they always arrived at my house when they said they would. The new tile looks even better than I expected it to when picking it out.If I need new flooring again in the future, Ill be calling Floor Covering International first.

My husband and I ran into some issues while installing our floor in the bedroom and we called this company. Joe came out to the house to give us an estimate and a bunch of helping tips and advice. He was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely recommend him.

First let me say that everyone was really pleasant. I have an old house and there were a lot of stains on my red oak floors from animals living there for many years before I moved in. I was told that its nearly impossible to get these stains out, very dark black stains. However, the group that came out to do the job did a miraculous job in getting those stains out. Though in the end, this meant that they had to stain the floors a darker color than I wanted to cover the few stains that just would not come out, the result was stunning and beautiful. There are a few small negatives but they are very small. The process is surprisingly dust free given how much they sanded off the floors. However, it was not completely dust free. Outside the rooms that were finished there was no visible dust but the Swiffer duster definitely picked up sawdust on most of the surfaces in those other rooms though it was a small amount. I would have preferred that some plastic be put over the doorways especially ones that didnt have doors in them to prevent this. Also beware that stain will get onto your baseboards. In my house I have painted baseboards on one side so we simply painted over those. But on the other side, the baseboards were finished wood so we removed those baseboards, sanded them to remove the dark stain, restained them with the lighter stain that they were originally and refinished them. Now honestly, this really needed to be done anyway since the baseboards were fairly beaten up. But if you dont want to do work on your baseboards then you will want to inquire about a project package that includes the baseboards. Or to otherwise be prepared to work on the baseboards after the floors are finished. I did not mind doing this work and in the end it ended up looking really great. The baseboards look better now than they have in a very long time. Im extremely pleased with the floors. I think the lengths that they went to to get the stains out of the wood was above and beyond what one could expect and the degree to which they succeeded and removed the stains was remarkable. I would highly recommend the service. The price was also reasonable.
