Highly disappointed with my service at Carolina carpet. I had my entire house carpeted. I called the week prior, informed the manager I would be having an open house and showings as the property is for sale. I went to pay when i was asked to, and told there was no one in the store experienced to take my payment. I went back the next morning to pay. I was told my carpet would be installed that morning. I went to the house that evening to see the finished job. My old carpet was taken out and a huge mess left with no new carpet installed. I called the store and was told id be called back that they were unaware. after an hour i had no details so i called back again. Someone from the store met me at the house, he assured me the job would be finished that night as I had a showing for sat am. I went to the property sat am nothing was finished and I was not contacted. After the job finally got finished there was nails and staples sticking up all throughout the floor.. There were also razor blades left all over the house, front steps, and front stairs. I called for that to fixed I was told someone went out to address it, but when I check there were still staples and nails sticking in the carpet. I called four times to speak with a manager and never received a call back ever. I was extremely dissatisfied by the lack of regard and communication for a customer that spent over 3k for a job to be complete. Very unprofessional and unorganized, and multiple excuses for poor work. Never using this store again.

Awesome experience! Highly recommend! My husband and I decided at the last minute that we wanted to install carpet in our master bedroom after having our master bathroom renovation almost complete. We went into the store and were immediately greeted. We knew what color carpet we wanted, and we were escorted to take a look at the in-stock carpet. We found one that we liked, and the sales person also found a few that she thought we would like. We were able to get an estimate, place our order, and have it installed within a few days we had carpet installed! If you want a one-stop shop without going through a lot of estimates (because youre going to get the best price and customer service here) and contractors, you need to seriously look at the carpets in stock at Carolina Carpet and Floors. Highly satisfied, and we will return for future projects!

I purchased LVP from Carolina Carpet. The product was at a good price and service was outstanding . After meeting with Mr. Bobby McHugh, we looked at several brands and textures. He explained the benefits of each . After making my selection we set up a install date for the job.The installers from JVC were 1st rate. Mr. Jacob and Lalo did an fantastic job. They arrived early, very courteous and professional . The job was completed in 1 day with no issues and I couldnt have been happier with the results.Prior to selecting Carolina Carpet, I had estimates from Empire and 50 Floor. Their prices were ridiculous and not worth my time nor money.Its true that some of the best deals are local and I recommend that you check with Carolina Carpet for your flooring needs before signing with the big national brands.You wont be disappointed .......Kudos and Well Done..

Definitely would not recommend, they are almost a week late at putting my carpet in and is the only thing holding my family back from being able to move into our new home. No one will return our calls and it’s 3 days from my move out date I ALREADY PAID WHERE IS MY CARPET???!!!!

Great customer srevice during the purchasing process. After the flooring was installed, we noticed that the floor kept snapping when walked on, they told us it had to adjust to the temperature of our house the first time. The second time I called about the floor snapping they said its because its a rotating floor. Then noticed that in the kitchen they pinched the ice maker water flow tube, because it was cut too small where the tube come out of the floor. We called them to explain and they tell me their not responsible for appliances. They were too busy focusing on the fact that it was a refrigerator, rather than listening to what the problem was. So, we went to the store to speak to the Manager and that turned into her calling the police, which nothing was done because no threat was made however, she stated she felt threatened. (Why because a tall black man talking to you and he has a loud deep voice) With in a months time the floor started breaking into pieces and she refuses to repair the floor because she said she was threatened.

This has been the worst experience of purchasing a carpet. We purchased one style of carpet another style was brought to our house it was two pieces that didnt match. The installer takes it back to the store, we do through this back and forth trying to match since 8/1 and today is 8/8. On 8/6 I do to the store because they sent another 7in piece of carpet that didnt match, the rep goes to the computer to locate where the remaining carpet is we walk over to the carpeted original purchased but that is not the carpet that was installed in our house. The rep goes ”oh I remember what happened the carpet you picked out we didnt have enough to complete the order”. This was the first time we had been told this I was stocked. I asked so what is the name and price of the carpet that was given to us, she said I have no clue and thats where to issue comes in. I asked so no one wrote it down? Nope! Almost closing time I ask so whats the next step since there is nothing in the store to match her answer I do not know I will have to call my manger. She comes back after speaking with the manager, the owner had the nerve to tell the worker ”she had no clue how to fix the issue”. We took the sample of the carpet I brought from my home trying to match with every possible piece in the store. the owner left an inexperienced worker whos only been there for 3 months to handle a bad situation while going out of town for 2 weeks. I then speak to another rep on 8/7 who tells me that the installer approved the change in the carpet for us. I expressed to him our concern of never being contacted by the store to be informed of the shortage for the original carpet that we paid for. He kept saying well what you paid for was this amount and we gave you something for a higher amount. That still doesnt fix the issue of the store failing to contact the customer given us the opportunity to come pick something else out. 8/8 They then went to say due to COVID they couldnt take the carpet back thats in our house(no one knows the name does not have the paperwork to show us the name and price) but we have taken at least 3 different rolls of carpet in our house(it’s on our security system) that went back inside the store. When that was brought up the rep said thats only because we were trying to match the current carpet in your house.🤔 This has been the worst experience!!!

Unfortunately, the person we purchased our home from used Carolina carpets. There were several spots of carpet completely unattached upon closing of our house with the expectation of brand new carpet.Carpet was soft but unclean upon arrival. We attempted to schedule several times before actually getting someone to agree to fix the problem bc we didn’t pay for the service. Upon arrival to fix the problem the serviceman was unable to speak to me without an interpreter on the phone and also, 2 hours late.

Do not purchase from this location and leave your stuff for pickup later!!!!!! Upon ordering a roll of carpet I asked to leave it because my dads house was not ready due to painting. Completed that and went to retrieve role and was told previous staff was let go from suspicious circumstances, a statement in which the company owner denied claiming defamation when it was the manager on-site that made the statement. Never got role, never got any answers. Was refused help by the owner, who was very defensive and accusing.

Less than 3 years ago I had my front hallway and walkway done, and I have many faulty issues that are due to installation problems. They will not repair or replace the flooring even though theres a nail sticking up through one part and the floors are not seated together properly. they insist its from my subfloors and I had an estimate it is not from my floors it was due to the crew that had poor installation the people that came into my home to try to do an analyzation of it one did not speak English and he was the one that would come out and replace the floors but due to past experience we will not allow them ever again to come step foot in our house for anything even though Ive used them for 24 years. as far as Im concerned these guys can go out of business they did me wrong and I dont recommend them to anybody

I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store. I felt that the representative was pushy about a particular kind of carpet she wanted me to buy. When I told her I wanted to see what else was offered in the store she rolled her eyes. If she ask you to measure your own rooms be careful. I did that and ended up with more carpet then I needed. When the installers are finished do your own inspection and look for any rips. I found a rip in the center of the carpet and the installer in charge didnt want me to report it. That carpet was replaced. The second crew came and reinstalled new carpet and it looked good, but months later I discovered that there was a clean cut rip close along the baseboard... about 2 from the baseboard that was pieced together in a way it would be hard to see unless you pulled on it or divided the carpet fibers.

I have to say my floors are nice, unfortunately beware when they offer the 12 mths interest free they put in their system your correct credit card and 12 mths . They told me 12 mths the unfortunately plugged in 6 mths and I had to pay it off in 6 mths or pay the interest. I have to say I will Never recommend this store to anyone.

Would NEVER recommend this place!Dianna is very rude and unprofessional!I had to cancel an appointment with Dianna due to an ER emergency and rescheduled for yesterday at 8:45 a.m. I called the store 24 hours in advance to give her the option of coming earlier at 8:30 like she wanted but which ever time would be fine.She originally told me that she had an appointment close by my house and would come right over.I was waiting for her to get her and at 8:38 a.m.,seven minutes before our meeting, she calls and said she was back at the office helping a customer that she got busy with because she was short staffed!!Even though she incovienced me and didnt have the consideration to call me earlier,I agreed that she could come this morning at 9.I woke up and took a shower and I was upstairs brushing my teeth and the doorbell rang.I rinsed my mouth and before I could even get to the door she was in route to her car and I said out loud, Dianna Im here come on in.She perceeeds to get into her car and calls me.I answered and said sorry,come on in,I need to throw on some clothes,it will only be a minute.She refused and said she is leaving,wow!I told her that she rang the doorbell only once which I heard but she didnt even give me a chance to get down the stairs and was very quick to leave.I was calm and apologized not understanding why she was being so impatient!I said Dianna, I cant believe you pulled off,I came right down and was hoping to get this done today!To my dismay,Dianna hung up on me!She had a very privileged and tempermental attitude!! I am glad that I found who the real Dianna was beforehand.I would not trust her not EVER! I have found that there are many of other places to shop that seem to have great customer service just by looking at reviews and I should of noticed her reviews before I contacted Carolina Carpet!I will be glad to take my business elsewhere!

I have made appointments with them on 3 different occasions and each time, they were at least an hour late. I asked to have a runner made from the left over carpet, and Quentin stated that it would be fine. l was also told that I would only need to pay for the binding and not the carpet, which he didnt keep his word after showing up late on 3 different occasions. I asked to speak with his supervisor who has yet to call.

I would recommend considering a different company to purchase carpeting from.Last year my mother purchased new carpet throughout her home, which included a warranty. During the last hurricane the house had flooding damage to the home which damaged the carpet.The insurance company was willing to cover the cost of repairs for the carpet since Carolina Carpets manager informed us the carpets warranty was no longer valid. The manager/owner came to the home and even inspected the carpet to verify its status. The manger/owner told us multiple times over the span of a few months that she would provide a letter detailing the voided warranty; which would allow the insurance company to cover the cost. Whenever we would call following up we were told she is out of the office for various reasons. After multiple promises and excuses no letter was ever provided.I’m not sure what the issue is with providing this letter if the warranty is voided. But due to the manager/owners delay my mom risks the insurance no longer covering the cost due to the untimely processing of Carolina Carpet.Personally I feel this needs to be fixed and simple promises kept. Based off this experience I would highly recommend any place else. Hopefully this issue is resolved because there are few other recourses available other than filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This company is #1 in customer service! Even though we hit a snag with installation, the staff went the extra mile and some to make it right. The young lady who handles customer service is wonderful - attentive, personable and very professional. We needed flooring completed to meet a deadline for our rental property and we had problems with the original installer. The customer service rep called in another installer who did an amazing job. My husband and I are very satisfied and plan to call on them again for a home project real soon. Thanks team!

Piss Poor Performance, Diana did not return my phone call, Henry Dodge failed to write up the estimate. Really bad attitude and poor excuse to why the estimate was not completed. I gave this company a week plus to have my estimate ready and I had to call them twice before I received a dial tone...do your home work and research before you commit

I recently had flooring installed in my rental property. The staff and installers were friendly and professional. They came out to measure one day and installed the next, excellent Service. I left a key for them to install the vinyl in my den, Kitchen, Laundry room and bathroom. I love it! The carpet in the 3 bedrooms look great! I trust them and would recommend them to my friends and will use them on future projects at my home.

They also worked with our budget. I am very pleased with the carpet and installation. The customer service was also exellent. We are getting ready to have some tile work done and this is who I will use.

FAN-TAS-TIC! Outstanding! Look, we had no idea what we were doing but we did a lot of research. After shopping with national online stores and get hosed on that deal, we went back to shopping local. We went to Carolina Carpeting on a whim, even though we wanted hardwood. We thought, weve been everywhere else... We went in and got some massive pocket saving help. The rep asked us pointed and specific questions and steered us from over-spending by several thousand dollars and making a HUGE costly mistake of installing the wrong kind of flooring for the construction of our home. I had some repairs done today. First off they showed up with grass dirt and looked like poo on their shoes and was just gong to walk into my home. My carpet that was fixed you can still see the padding on the edges. One guy was watching tv more than half the time while the other one worked. They keep leaving the door open and letting my heat out. They had ZERO respect for my home!

If you want a crew showing up hours late, on a Sunday evening, with scetchty guys in your home, this is the place. They will get in fights in your front yard yard, throwing nail guns, while the company owner wont answer her phone because its Sunday. They will eventually get the job done though, leaving scratches on the brand new flooring you just spent thousands on, as well as your brand new laundry machines. I have a 3 page write up of similar issues they didnt care about.

Had some repairs done to our rental home over a year ago on Thornwood place off Raeford. Heidi was pleasant in store. The two men who came to my house were not and frankly freaked me out. We went back and forth figuring out which carpet from which closet to use to patch an area that was ruined. Eventually the guy snapped at me and said Listen lady what do you want to do. I came to a decision and they began the work. The short dark short-haired scruffy guy stood around most of the time while his tall co worker did most of the work. I came to my room later to see the progress only to find the scruffy guy had found my husbands machete type knife (on the shelf in our closet) hed received as a gift and opened the case to look at it spinning it around in his hand) Asked him immediately to put it back in the case and hand it back and not to touch our stuff. After they left the carpet looked as good as itbwas going to but a couple of days later you could see it bubbling terribly around the walls. I called once to speak with Heidi and left a msg. Then after thinking about I just dealt with it because if they were the only two installers I didnt want them back in my home to correct it. Im sorry I dont have their names but they were sketchy and unprofessional.

My husband and I purchased laminate flooring plank from these people. The salesman told us that that specific flooring was a great pick blah blah, the day they came to installed everything went smooth until they left and we noticed that the pieces that they go between rooms were terribly installed, they were coming off, some of the pieces of the flooring were crack on the corners, when I called the business to let them know my concerns, I felt like I was doing them a favor. Then finally a week later they sent somebody to fix the room diveders only and the guy was kinda drunk, and said before he leaves he was going to comeback to fix the cracks in another time, which never happend, nobody give us a call, very desapointed. For sure we won’t be using this company again. Lack of professionalism

We brought a house recently & the seller have the carpet replace throughout the house. We picked the carpet since were buying the house. We dont know much about the customer service since we didnt really deal with them. Anyway, the reason why we are giving them a 1 star (we would give 0 if that was an option) because they did a really sloppy job. You can you where the carpet was connected, some are already coming apart. Certain area are bumpy (like bubble) & there are stuff underneath the carpet that are super sharp. In some room the carpet wasnt put all the way to the wall. Seriously it like a five years old work on it. They litterly throw the carpet on the floor & called it done!

Sadly we had a horrible experience with this company. We chose them because they had great reviews and after talking to them about our situation they seemed to be perfect for what we needed. We are military and were close to a move, we needed carpet replaced in our house so we could sell it. We scheduled for the following week to have it installed. We scheduled for Thursday before the Monday we were supposed to move. The day before install we contacted them because we were supposed to get rain and wanted to check to see if we needed to have them come a different day. They assured us it would be no problem. The morning they were supposed to install they called at 8 and said they were on their way. By 1130 we had to call the company because nobody had shown up. We were toldthey werent coming because of the rain. Then the installer called and said they werent coming because their truck broke down. So we scheduled for the next day. Again in the morning got a call saying that the crew was running late and but they would be coming. We called back after a while and were told that this crews truck also broke down. They told us they were sending someone else. The two man crew showed up after noon to do a three story house. Deanna, the store owner showed up shortly to tell us the crew would stay until it was completed and that she was sending a second crew to help after they finished another job. The second crew didnt show until after 4. At 8 we were told they would need to come back to finish the third floor, and asked if they could come back on Sunday if they couldnt make it on Saturday. The crew left before we could walk the house, to find out the second floor wasnt finished either and we didnt have a phone number for the crew. Called the compaby on Saturday to talk to them about what time they would be coming back and to address some problems with the areas they did. The living room had a huge very visible seam down one side and steps that were done horribly. Sunday one person came back to finish the job. But told us he would have to come back on Tuesday to finish and fix in issues. They knew we were supposed to be gone on Monday. We went up to their office and spoke with Deanna about the issues. After claiming to not know they hadnt finished the job, complaining about the crews, and looking at the pictures we sent, she gave us an apology daid she would come by and look at it and swore it would be done Tuesday. My realtor had came and saw how poorly the carpets were done and got involved. There were burns in the carpet, random cuts and holes in the middle of a room, carpets were cut too short and it didnt even reach the baseboards. Areas were lifted, seams were bubbled, carpet was seperating, the stepps werent tacked down right, some carpet wasnt even laid down, just cut and set in place and so much more. They came today, the same one guy and not the whole crew that was supposed to help. He finally got it all finished. Deanna never showed, even after speaking to my realtor twice saying she would come look at it. They had the worst customer service and completely tried to take advantage of us. They assumed that we would just be gone and not care. We had to push our move and now have to travel seperatly in order to get stuff done because their promised 1 day install took 6. They kept saying sorry we were with a client, treating us like we were clients. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone, especially any military family. Even my realtor has put it out to her agents that they are not worth a dime. They never even offered anything to make up for the problems they caused, like a refund on the installation we paid for. What a horrible experience.

Go somewhere else that knows a thing or two about customer service. Purchased a remnant to use as a large area rug, even though we wanted to exchange, within 24hrs, for a larger remnant we cant. They do not tell you this before you buy! We will be going elsewhere for future purchases.
