First store I personally go to every time I need any sort of equipment. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They’re extremely reasonable with their prices and offer many free used things that involved close body contact. Ex:berets, tan shirts, canteens. Etc. so if you need stuff like that for packing lists that you know you’ll never wear but need, get it here. Be a great person and donate it back when you’re done with it for other people who’ll need it later.

Best prices for anything you need. I came in and found exactly what I needed and they even gave me a gerber pouch on the house. Great people and great store.

Great service. I purchased an ESEE 5 knife that didnt have a sheath. Because there was no sheath in the box, got it at owners cost. I later learned they are sold without a sheath now. Because of his great price, and willingness to help me, I will continue to give him my business!!!!!!

I absolutely love this store !! I’m in the Reserves and husband is active duty so normally we just share whatever we are needing/missing but for the things we don’t have we go to Red Horse . About 99.9% of the time they have what we need . They are very respectful and very helpful and VERY reasonable in pricing. I came to them to trade in my new uniforms( because the ones issued to me were WAY TO SMALL) and I’m so glad I did business with them they didn’t rip me off (like their competitors tried-to) The Red Horse staff is very willing to help . DEFINITELY RECOMMEND COMING HERE FOR ANYTHING YOU NEED !!!

Next time I am in Fayetteville, this will be the ONLY surplus store I will visit. My friend and I walked in 15 minutes before closing time, and we were still warmly welcomed. We looked around and saw a few things that peeked our interest, but everything was VERY fairly priced. He was also willing to work with you on the prices so long as it was reasonable, which you dont see very much today. Military owned and operated, but they make you feel welcomed like nowhere else I have been. Thank you Red Horse for the awesome Gear and patch! Cant wait to visit yall again with more funds XD

I went to a few places first, being new here, and not only did he have the best prices but he was nice and forth coming with every piece of information. He knew where everything was and offered great prices. I wouldnt waste time anywhere else. Its a business that has the soldiers best interest in mind. Will be back soon to trade done old gear!!!

Stopped by here for the first time to get some needed gear. The staff was great and even helped me out with a couple insignia pins. The selection and quality was good. The only reason I cant leave a 5 star rating, and I really want to, was because my wife was with me and as the store got a little more busy, the language from the staff was less than desirable. I understand that it is a military store but not everyone in the military uses such language.

The owner is very knowledgeable and makes you feel like a regular the first time you walk in. He claims to have the best prices in town and all the evidence Ive seen seems to confirm it. Very affordable uniform sets, boots and TA-50 along with whatever other odds and ends you might need.Definitely worth a look and probably should be your first stop for gear around Ft. Bragg.

Very impressed. When a Soldier asked to buy a ruck, the owner asked why and advised him to get one through his supervisor, for free through the Army. Best military surplus store Ive ever visited. Not the biggest square footage wise, but had more genuine surplus items than most places 3 times the size. Its packed to the brim.The staff was super friendly and knowledgable, & prices were very fair. Went with my son and the owner took time to make him feel special. Well be back for sure.

Went there earlier today and it was without a doubt the best Military Surplus store I have ever been to, and I have been to every single one in the Fayetteville area. If you do not go to this store than you are crazy! It is located perfectly just outside the Fort Bragg gate on the left hand side of Reilly Road. The staff was extremely helpful and treated me good. They have a excellent selection and are even veterans! So I highly recommend going here even if it is just to look around. Ask for Mack and he will make sure you find everything you need/looking for.

I came in with a list of items I needed for air assault and they were able to help me out and I got everything I needed. They’ll answer any questions you have and their prices can’t be beat! Free helmet pads and straps (reasonable amounts, not bucket loads). They care about the safety and comfort of soldiers, not the money. But, lets keep them in business by buying something while youre there so we can keep this service available.

Well organized, quick service, probably one of the largest varieties in whatever you need thats close to Fort Bragg. Not the friendliest staff but its okay. Not to mention they have all the needs for your uniform, flashes, ovals, berets and they sew on the spot.

I went to the next surplus store (SAS) and i found he was too expensive for the same product that i wanted. I will shop every time here. Red horse is where my husband and I go to get my husbands gear that he needs for work. They are very professional and very kind. Anytime I go in there with my kids they always interact with them. I have conducted business transactions at numerous establishments in the area... None of which I can provide honest reviews for that correlate with any feeling of positivity or genuine craps given about my well being or that of the Soldiers that serve this Country. Until today, when I had the pleasure of speaking with another Veteran who actually understood what hell it is trying to turn ANYTHING into CIF. One that knew what an NSN was and could help me locate legitimate gear that I needed. Beyond that, the prices aren’t going to make you cringe and consider beating your battle buddy over the head for losing your E-tool. If you are a Soldier who wants to talk to another Soldier that understands your needs, and actually gives a hoot then I recommend you don’t waste time or money at any other “Tactical” military gear establishment.
