Everyone was so professional and accommodating. The service time was accurate, no long waits! I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The optometrist was extremely friendly and gave me several options to choose from regarding my prescription. The store was clean and I noticed that they sanitized after every customer. Just an overall great experience!

Pretty nice eye place, nice and clean with mask policy. Not as nice as my old eye place(Wing) tho. The glasses were expensive and less organized in the store. The lady we got (to do the second part of the eye test to help us find our prescriptions) spoken a weird seductive voice. They didnt do a color blind test, astigmatism test, or circles on a red and green background test, they did a far-sighted one though. Also they kept the lights on when they were doing the second part of the exam. They didnt put the magnifying glass looking things over me/my moms eyes at the end as a last check to see if we wanted to change our prescription. We received our glasses, but unlike Wing, We didnt get any cleaning spray or microfiber wipes/cloths(The only thing I got is the case you see below, which unfortunately didnt seem to have any color choices, and the glasses you see on my face) which was sad, BUT our glasses worked out for each of us, which was good. Pretty nice place but I suggest wing over it.

I had a great experience there today! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and well kept. Every step of the process was discussed with me and explained to me. The doctor was very efficient and listened to what I wanted to take from this experience. Awesome job!

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses online from a somewhat sketchy retailer and I was really disheartened when they finally arrived and fit so loosely on my face that they wouldnt stay on and I couldnt use them! I brought them into Visionworks and asked if there was anything they could do to help. Lynette (Lyn) explained that she could probably fix them, but that she couldnt guarantee that it wouldnt inadvertently damage them. Well, she took GREAT care of my glasses... and me! She got the sunglasses fitting like a glove and was very diligent and precise. Next time I need a new pair of glasses, Im definitely going to see Lyn to make sure they fit right!!

Best Eye Exam experience Ive ever had! The Optometrist is Awesome, super communication and honest. At 56yo, I know I no longer have eagle eye vision, she was helpful and gave me great recommendations for my eye glasses. Oh and Bonus!, my 2 pair of frames that fit my face will be ready in 2 weeks. Highly recommend Visionworks in Fayette!!!!!Id like to add that all staff are welcoming and helpful. All safety protocols are in place and the environment is clean.

Highly satisfied with the doctor who gave the exam. Dissatisfied x 100% with the associate that help us. When you know exactly what you want to purchase, and they try to convince you that is not good. You need to purchase this. Plus all the other things, the associate was doing as well. Just a VERY HORRIBLE WITH THIS PERSON. I hated I came to this store. Never experienced this in all the years I have been wearing glasses.

Not happy at all. My glasses where handed to me and when i ask if they would be fitted I was told I can try them on. I have been in glasses for almost 50 years and this is the first time I have not had them properly fitted. My Glasses are not comfortable and the prescription areas(3) are not located properly and now i have to go back and hope that on a Saturday someone is qualified to fit my glasses properly. Should have saved a fortune $294.00 out of pocket $739.95 without insurance and bought my glasses online.

Dont go there. Find somewhere else.*Why does a doctor have to be there in the store to pick up my glasses? I dont get it at all & why is there never a doctor there on Monday? Why are they open if they arent doing anything or letting people inside?*Why is the door to the store locked during open hours? I wasnt allowed inside. They werent locked when I came in for my appointment, nor was I stopped at the door & asked why I was there.*Why is it written on my receipt paperwork I can pick up today? And I called yesterday and they said I could pick up today?

The only reason I rated a 2 is because my Eye exam was great however, you will be sitting here long hours. I had an appointment at 4:15 and didn’t leave until over 6:30. Everyone just walking by without acknowledging you. It’s the lack of urgency for me. I am very disappointed and more than likely will not be coming back here.

Worst Experience ever. If I could rate them minus rating possibly I would give them. I was not provided the service even though I had an in-network insurance plan that is covered by my insurance provider. The staff didnt even wanted to see that I was eligible or not for co pay. Very rude service. Please dont fool the customers.

Overall I am pleased with the visit. There are two items that needs attention. I had a 930 appointment, yet they didn’t begin pre testing until about 1000. After they completed that, I sat in the exam room waiting for another 10 minutes while they discussed lunch options.Second thing the young lady that’s the manager, was harsh and rude to customers and the staff as well.As if she had to convince herself that she was in charge.- she was overly obsessed with ordering lunch and with making sure everybody knew she was buying lunch for Dr. Braxton

Today was my first time at Visionworks. Everyone was nice and welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. Everything was easy and convenient. The doctor was extremely thorough and Qunicia was so helpful in assisting me find the perfect duo ( I got two pair) and she was extremely patient with me because Im so indecisive and couldnt decide. I would recommend Visionworks in Fayetteville without hesitation.

The doctor, the receptionist, and other employees were really great. Quinicia was the one person that seemed to be very abrasive and negative each time I visited the store. I visited the store several consecutive days because my work schedule changed and I would not be able to keep my initial appointment. I was told that I could come in as a walk-in on the day that I wanted to do my exam. Each day that I came into the building between 9am and 10am, she would meet me at the door and tell me that they were full for morning appointments and to return in the afternoon around 1:30pm or 2:30pm and each day I did exactly that, just to be told that they were full with afternoon appointments and to try back the next day. I visited the store Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before being able to be seen and only after asking to cancel my appointment. Each day that I came into the building, she was being rude an abrasive with different customers. I came to the conclusion that this may just be her personality, which does not work well when you are expected to interacte with customers. She got rude with a married couple in the wife told her that she wanted nothing to do with her and she wanted to speak to a manager and then she apologized but her mannerisms were still the same. I was really hoping to be assisted by someone else, anybody else, but I understand that do due to covid a lot of people are understaffed and it would probably be another hour or so before someone else could assist me. When asking questions about the pricing of my own glasses that changed from being around $200 to $530, she became very agitated and impatient and did not want to answer my questions about the pricing for blue glare and scratch resistant frames but she was adamant about not selling me a pair of $99 glasses that I absolutely loved without me purchasing the scratch resistant lenses for an additional $180 even if I sign something saying that I wouldnt hold Visionworks responsible if something happened to them. So I had to search all over again for frames that I liked. If I hadnt already completed the exam that I knew I was going to have to pay for either way, I would have just taken the prescription and gone to another optometrist to obtain my frames. I continually visited this store particularly because several of my family members have gotten their glasses from this location and really liked what they purchased, I dont know if it made a difference because they were using insurance or not but I dont think I will be returning. I felt like I was being rushed and overcharged. I got irritated everytime she would breathe hard or make annoyed faces each time I asked her a question, which only continued because she kept trying to fast talk around giving me a straight answer. At the end of the day, I was paying out of pocket and I did not feel good about my purchase because I just wanted to make sure that I was selecting frames that fit my face, that I would be comfortable wearing daily, and that wouldnt break the bank. If my rating was purely off my interactions with this one employee, I would have rated my experience at one star but because the actual Optometrists and other employees were so pleasant, helpful, and patient, I didnt feel that would be fair to the overall business because that rating doesnt represent the level of care or service that the others provided.

It went downhill quickly thereafter. There’s one associate who is absolutely rude and very aggressive. Worst location ever!

I visited this vision works location for the first time recently due to my normal eye doctor being booked up for a few months. When I came in for my first appointment the staff was very friendly and the optometrist that completed my eye exam and the young lady that assisted me with purchasing my glasses and contacts were both very welcoming and helpful. I was told that my glasses and contacts would arrive within 2 weeks. When the two week mark arrived I received an email saying that one pair of my glasses were available for pickup. I went to pick up my glasses and the gentleman that helped me was nice but I found it odd that they didn’t include any cloth to clean the glasses. They told me that my second pair of glasses and contacts have been delayed and should be in the following Monday. I received another email the next week saying the rest of my order was ready for pick up, I go back to the store and the woman that helped me this time had me wait about 20 minutes and then came back out with my contacts and stated that they couldn’t find my glasses and to try back the following Wednesday. It’s the following Wednesday and this week will make it a month since I originally had the appointment. I’ve called the store numerous times this week and have not been able to reach anyone and have been on hold for over 8 minutes each time I call. This is very frustrating and seeing the large amount of money I paid for my glasses and contacts after insurance I just expect to get some type of communication as to where my order is and what the hold up is. I don’t think that I’ll be visiting this location again.

My appt on Friday was cancelled 2 hours prior due to any unforseen emergency. However I was offered either to walk on Saturday or a date 2 weeks away. I elected to walk in. The staff was pleasant and very friendly I was seen within 20 minutes. The Optometrist was very kind and through as there were many clients awaiting. I picked out my frames, with the assistance of the Tech Katie was presented several options with my insurance. And was not pressured for the up sale. I made my choice and was out. After my husband and son getting an eye exam at the Visionworks in Fayetteville Georgia, returning to pick up the glasses only to see that they had the wrong frames for my husband. No problem, they will get that fixed. Wait two more weeks and get the notification at the correct glasses are ready to pick up! Drive the 20 miles to the store today (Monday) during their open hours only to be told by the lady behind the locked door that well they are open but they cant perform any services because they dont have a doctor on Mondays.... Thats okay. Ive already paid. No service needed. Just hand me my glasses. Apparently that is considered a service. ummm, that is not what Open means! The order ready for pickup confirmation via email, text, the website, AND the freaking door indicate they are open today 10-7. Why would you waste your customers time, money, and patience?!? Just give me the glasses PLEASE!! No luck. Called the 1800 customer service number and waited on hold for 20 minutes only to be disconnected. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH VISIONWORKS!! My family will NOT be back and I will be leaving poor reviews on every platform available to me. Ridiculous.

I came in for a routine eye exam about a month ago, my first time back in a doctors office since the pandemic began. They stop you at the door to take your temperature and have you sign in. I had a 9:30am appointment and was asked to take a seat in one of the socially-distanced chairs in the back. While waiting, I overheard one of the front desk employees speaking over the phone, saying that they were short on doctors, only taking appointments 2 days a week, and double-booking all their appointment slots. The doctor didnt walk into the building until 9:50 and I was seen after the first patient I shared a time slot with, at about 10:05. I can understand double-booking when necessary, but disliked the doctors own tardiness. Everything else was clean and efficient and my glasses were ready for me within two weeks (also, thats a long time and not sure if thats normal or pandemic related but Im not complaining). Will be back again next year!

This location was ok not bad being my first time. When I had called to make an appt I spoke with a John whom was very unprofessional and I really didn’t like the way he was asking me questions about setting a simple appt. But overall I spoken with a manager at my request bc John was just horrible to me and wasn’t quite attentive. I forgot what male mgr I e spoken with but he was awesome Gabe me my appt time without giving me hassle like one of his coworkers named JOHN did and he even apologized for his behavior. On the other hand the day of my appt when I arrived it wasn’t busy at all it was like 3 ppl there including me made 4 but it still went quite fast. Brittany was ok she verified my other insurance card to see can I get reimbursed or IF they were in network with my secondary insurance. I did like that about her on what she did but it seems like she be pressuring to get more money. Like my insurance covered up to $100 so I was going to do the 50% buy two glasses but the price was too high when I thought it’ll be cheaper. Then Brittany kept saying what she can and cannot do when am a budgeting customer little do she know that. I asked to speak with mgr but he left. Bc I was trying to see if they can knock it off a-little bc the price was higher than what I was expecting it to be. That’s the only reason. Then she was offering me $75 for a glare they put in your glass lens or etc but overall I just got some nice frames which was only one pair of glasses and knocked off $100 on those and I just paid the difference. That’s all that matters to me just saving🤷🏾‍♀️ and make sure am not being ripped off. The doctor from Nigeria (as told by an employee) can do better tho as in greetings. He walks past you with head down making you feel unwelcome and unsure about the place. But the only reason why I went further was bc of the other employees. They were greet able the most. You’ll assume/THINK the doctor would too. It doesn’t matter of how good a doctor is he or she have to have a positive attitude making US customers feel welcome. He only fake greets when he calls your name to be seen by him.

This is the worst most unprofessional optometrist office I have ever been in - went in for a scheduled 9:45 am appointment- was not seen until 11am. Staff is rude and unorganized- there was no social distancing. In the waiting area - staff was walking in with noMask- they did have mask when treating/seeing patients - appointment was rushed after the long wait they did not take questions- and to add Insult to injury as I was checking out the woman who was taking my payment took a personal call - caller “you busy” - staff “naw just checking this woman out she says she’s trying to get out of here - go head “ I’m not making this up she was still laughing and gossiping on the phone as I left - I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this location- I’m sure their untrained unprofessional staff are not giving accurate eye exams - I have an appointment at another optometrist office next week to get a accurate eye exam- a waste of time and money

Ordered lens for my frames late December. After waiting for over 2 weeks I called to see if my glasses were ready - oh yes, theyre ready...they just didnt bother to pick up the phone to call and let me know.So I go pick up my glasses, and wait and wait and all thses folk who came in AFTER me had come and gone... after over 45 mins the manager comes to tell me they broke my glasses!Ok.(I signed the document when I ordered the lens and wrote on the document I signed, after informing the manager that if they broke my glasses they would have to replace like kind/quality _ he agreed).So, they had me pick out frames to replace mine that theyd broken but promised to make every effort to locate my frames online first and asked to retain my glasses in order to do so. Of course there was nothing on the store that even remotely looked like my frames, but I picked out something as a 2nd choice. After a week, didnt hear anything, called them... they couldnt locate my glasses so they will replace with my 2nd choice.A month and a half ( after calling and being told oh Im sorry, your frames arent in yet) they texted and emailed that my frames are in -finally! I went to get my glasses today, February 19th, had to wait and wait again! What now!?Finally, guy comes out with my glasses, but wait, where are my glasses you broke. Oh, he knew nothing about them. I told him, I want my glasses.After another 10 mins, I kid you not, he brings me my broken glasses.Needless to say, I will never do business with Visionworks at any location again!

I went in on a Friday for an eye exam and I also needed some glasses. The guy who helped me pick out my glasses was awesome and super helpful, however my glasses were going to come in in two weeks so after a day of searching on the internet I found a website where I could receive my glasses within 3 days for half the price. I decided that I would rather do that and cancel the glasses I order with Visionworks.I called the very next morning to let them know I wanted to cancel my order and receive a refund, the young lady told me to call back Monday since there was no on there that could issue me a refund. So I called back Monday at 9:00 am and no one answered. I waited 30 minutes to call back, still nothing. I continued calling every 10-15 minutes until it was 2:00 pm!I called Visionworks customer service for help and they told me they couldn’t help me, that I needed assistance from this location.I drove up to the location and when I came in one of the employee’s asked me what I needed. As I explained to her my situation she didn’t bother to even look at me and just rolled her eyes. She then asked for my name and when I asked her if their phone lines were down she hesitated to answer and said “we’re really busy” when there were only 3 customers inside the store.She then goes to the computer to issue my refund and jokingly told her coworker “she wants a refund because she claims to be able to get some glasses in by Wednesday”.I am not one to post bad reviews but I felt unwelcome and like what I wanted didn’t matter. I was highly upset on how it was handled and how unprofessional this situation was.

When I tell you these ladies are doing their thing, believe me! They made sure everything was constantly sanitized, everyone had on a mask, and checked temperatures (Even turned away someone whose temperature was high). All while providing fantastic service! Everyone was so sweet, professional and knowledgeable.What really sealed it for me was the patience the sales associate, Tastara, had with us. She made sure we maximized our benefits. My daughter had a appointment at 4:00 pm . We checked in @ 3:52. They literally didn’t call our name till 5:30. The wait time was so long to the point I was beyond frustrated. Why have a appointment and don’t get seen at that time . Make a long story short . We didn’t walk out till 6:37. I can’t make this up . I come to this location all the time . I have had the worst experience and makes me feel like I don’t want to come back here at all . That need to be fixed . The doctor, Lynette, Qunecia (Q), and Crystal were all very helpful and pleasant. The level of customer service was impeccable. There was a long wait for our appointments but never at any time did these ladies make me feel like my time was valuable. They made sure to update me and let me know i’m next and expedite my services whenever possible. I would definitely return here even though the McDonough location is closer.The only con is the Caucasian lady who works there with the bob hairstyle was mean and misquoted me saying my services would be $60 when in fact it came out to $6. She also seemed to be offended and confrontational about the fact that we weren’t purchasing glasses. She needs to work on her customer service but the rest of the team made up for it.

This location has some of the most unprofessional people working there. They pick up the phone and hang it up as if they are at home and not at work. They do not have updated calendars for the doctors, and they also do not communicate with one another as a team. I called to cancel and reschedule an appointment. I only got to cancel was not able to reschedule due to not having accurate calendar for the doctors. They never actually canceled my appointment and had multiple employees calling me to see why I missed my appointment. The day that corporate comes a s gets them together will be a blessing. It’s so unfortunate that my insurance company partners with them because the customer service is horrible to say the least. Horrible experience don’t waste time money or energy.

I visited this location for the first time due to my usual provider changing locations. They never answer the phone so I scheduled my appointment via my sister at the end of her appointment. The staff and optometrist are all friendly during my appointment. I was told my glasses would be ready in 2 weeks and I would be contacted when it was time for pickup. I never received any correspondence so while I was in the area one day, I checked to see if my glasses were ready. I was asked if I received a call or text to pick up my glasses. I told them no and I tried calling but they never answer. They manager checked and my glasses were ready. I tried them on and realized the prescription was wrong. I wasn’t able to see at all. I was told to come back Tuesday or Thursday to see the doctor for a recheck. I was told an appointment wasn’t necessary for a recheck and to just come in. I have been here waiting to be seen by the doctor over an hour after being told when I got here that I would be in and out.

It all starts with how pleasant Ms. Amina was with making me an appointment so swiftly and in such a nice way. She stepped away from her desk to assist me with frames as well and we laughed and enjoyed ourselves. Mrs. Katie is a very helpful, insightful and cheerful person. She made an indecisive feeling become at ease by explaining everything and helping me finalize my frames we picked out and what I needed to have for them. Joyce was a delight with her friendly personality, unfortunately, they swiped my card four times, and said my card wasn’t working, then said it declined on the fourth swipe. So naturally, we paid another way. Only to get home and realize my card was actually charged. Called them about the issue and the lady who swiped my card answered the call and told me to just tell my bank to dispute it 😐. My bank disputed the charges then charged me again months later. I called visionworks to get a second copy of the receipt to send to the bank, they told us their hours and said we could stop by any time. The. Store hours were meant to be until 6 on Saturdays, then changed even on the current picture on google to say they close at 5. It was 4pm. I stopped by and apparently their hours changed. Instead of just opening the door to simply say so, we were ignored until we called their phone and found out the hours had changed again without notice to 4. Terrible customer service. The lady in front, name started with a Q, only seemed interested in getting reviews from the customers without actually doing any work.

Every time I called to place an order for contacts the young lady that answered the phone was not able to take the order; therefore she took my info and I was told that I would receive a call back to take my order. I didnt receive that call. I would call back & be placed on hold only to be told the same story AGAIN. I was trying to avoid going in the store due to Covid-19. Luckily I found my prescription at home & placed the order online. I will say that I did receive the call back the day after I ordered my contacts. I only used this Visionworks bc of my job provided insurance & convenience. I will be finding a new eye doc!

I had a great experience from start to finish. The most memorable person to help me was Britanny. She was excellent, so excellent she squeezed nearly $500 out of me with insurance! You go girl! Loved the glasses she picked out for me and the honest feedback when I picked out a ugly pair trying to be cheap😂😂. Thanks girl! Can’t wait to pick them up!

Once I pick up my sons glasses I will never use them again. First off we waited 3 hours to be seen and to add insult to injury not only did we have an appointment and had to wait, we had to wait longer cause they took someone who had walked in after only waiting an hour n when I asked them about it they just didn’t care. Then I was told to pick his glasses up on the 28th of July so I call several times just in case something could’ve of changed n of course no answer. So u get there just for them to tell me there was no doctor in so he couldn’t get his glasses n to come the next day n guess what still no glasses. Smh sorry customer service n communication skills never ever again!!!

Theres a lady who works there and I think her name is Katie. Shes got short blond hair. Anyways, she is absolutely awful. She was so rude to me the entire time I was there, and she was trying to squeeze money out of me for no reason. She even tried to telling me what kind of frames I currently use, and why me spending an extra $85 would benefit me (she was not even correct on her guess of what frames I have right now. I was insulted that she would think I dont know my own frames.) Also, she lied to me about pricing. She gave me false pricing at least three times during my less than an hour stay. She also was told three separate times to call my insurance to verify things before she finally listened. Unbelievable. I felt so used here.

Good experience from the time we walked through the door. Wait wasnt long at all. Qunicia was quick and very knowledgeable. Victoria, at the front desk, was very pleasant and friendly, as well, when checking us in. The optometrist remembered me from 2yrs ago. (I was surprised.) Took about an hour for me and my daughter from start to finish. Loved the service.12/28/18Went back to pick up my daughters glasses and as soon as we entered we were greeted by several employees. Someone attended to us quickly even thought the store was packed. The service from Daniel was great. I asked for some information about my daughters prescription and he was more than willing to provide. Even went a step further than I expected. Thanks for great service.

My wife had a horrible experience there. Getting her glasses was a disaster. No one called when it was ready. And when it was available it had scratches on the frame that was being passed off as ok. I was going to go here to get my eyes examined and purchase glasses but having seen this i will go else where and I advise others take your business elsewhere.

I originally forgot my debit card and had to run home, not only was she understanding (still allowing me to pick my glasses of choice) but she was very patient with me in returning right at her break and still helping. Although they were busy, Patrick U. always reassured me he’ll get to me soon. Once he was available, he was THE BEST at helping me choose frames from the large selection. He also gave helpful opinions when deciding once we narrowed it down. I’ve never had an interaction like this when choosing new frames. He was friendly and even shared advice regarding things beyond just eyewear.

From the gentleman who checked me in to the really sweet eye doctor who took her time even though it was busy and to Katie who very patiently helped me make decisions and checked me out. I have never had such a great experience at an eye doctor. I orginally had an appointment at Americas best to find out they did not take my insurance, the exam was only free if I got 2 pair and the contact ex would be $88. I left there and went to vision works. It was late so they couldnt see me that day but set me an appointment for the next day along with my 2 teenagers. We came in the next day and all 3 of us were in and out it took about 1-2 hours, we never had to sit for long periods of time. I HAVE ALWAYS WAITED OVER 2 HOURS WITH AMERICAS BEST. Brittany was great she offered great advice, was friendly and patient. My total was $65 with 3 pairs of glasses and 6 months worth of contacts. Will definitely be returning.
