I USED to love this pharmacy. Used to. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful, and amazing advocates for me when my physician’s office kept messing up my maintenance medication prescriptions. I used to absolutely sing their praises, ESPECIALLY the pharmacist/pharmacy manager Roland Ntankeu. Until the day I transferred my hormone therapy prescriptions from mail order to the pharmacy. Suddenly, I can’t refill my meds online. I get notifications they’re ready for pickup, get there, and they haven’t even been filled yet or are missing. I have to call repeatedly to get meds I fill around the same time every month, or they’re “not in stock,” yet miraculously found if I make a complaint. My controlled substance prescriptions, which my insurance allows filled 3 days early, somehow can’t be picked up til the day after I’m out, causing missed dosages and early-stage withdrawal. And I don’t have the option to fill them elsewhere. It’s tough enough being a pain management patient in your 40s because of a diagnosed genetic connective tissue disorder and autoimmune disease. People who are supposed to be helping you shouldn’t be making things worse by delaying or denying your access to the medications and treatments specialists have decided are best for you. And they certainly shouldn’t be doing it out of homophobia or transphobia. 👎🏻
Always good service when i visit to pick up my prescription
They do their job. Nobody smiles or greets you pleasantly but I guess thats not required.
Theres an angel working here.If I could give this pharmacy 10 stars, I would. To each their own, I suppose.
My 85 y/o Mom initially Used CVS till they no longer accepted her insurance. she had a Telemedicine Appointment and her prescriptions were sent there. I was advise her current servicing pharmacy would have to request the prescriptions be transferred. They called and requested. I checked with requesting pharmacy (Walmart) and they didn’t receive the FAX...That afternoon my Mom needing her medication called CVS and inquired on them sending the fax so she could get her medication...they said they would try it would take maybe 30 minutes. Well it didn’t happen According to Walmart. I called her pharmacy the next day and they still hadn’t received the prescriptions. Totally unacceptable...So I stop in CVS this morning and spoke with them. They faxed them yesterday at 3 and refaxed them right then...the issue is either the fax machine or Walmart...what say you???
Their pharmacist & their female technicians are incredibly rude. Spring Lake Walmarts pharmacy offers so much nicer customer service.
I have never had any issues with anyone at the pharmacy over the last five years that Ive been using them. From getting my daughters sickle cell meds to mine has only been wonderful. One of the techs did a Godly thing for me today and that I will never forget. Every place has issues, especially because we are all human. But just like them we all have our bad days. Thanks Walmart-Skibo!
The pharmacist and the tech were very kind. Prepared my meds ahead of time and I needed a new med refilled and they did very quickly
Ever time I request refills on my medication I usually wait 1-2days before picking it up and its never ready when I get there. I always pay new prices also on same meds because they really dont honor the drug coupons.
I use to love this pharmacy, but lately my prescriptions have to be sent multiple times before they can fill it, I can no longer set a pick up time, also I have had refills cancelled or put back without any notice before the 9 day time period. Occasionally dealt with rude associates.
If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would
Pharmacy tech is pathetic, waiting in line, no supervision, no assistance to customers, acted like she didnt see I was there. Simply pathetic.
First and last time using this pharmacy. They do not have any type of order. NEVER AGAIN...
Pharmacist Randy Maljoy is very unprofessional. He took my prescription at 1:00pm for 6 Valium. I was told it would take less than 30 mins. Two hours later I asked what was going on. Mr Maljoy was very rude telling me that there was no daily maximum on the medication. Having education at a doctorate level, I told him the prescription doesn’t even meet the daily legal maximum. Making his argument a judgement call. And, a thin argument at that because directions were clear: take two pre op. Take two upon arriving home. Take two before sleep. Exhausting the supply. All six of the 5mg tablets would be taken day one. Where the legal guidelines state 40mg is the maximum daily dosage. The prescription of diazepam was written for pre & post op lasik. He got rude when I asked why I wasn’t notified so I could have left or called the Dr to speed the process up. He wasted two hours of my time. I walked right by his window six times. Sat in the bench, right in front of him. They sat back there laughing and joking. Probably laughing about how they were making the man wait for no real reason. A pharmacist is supposed to have a relationship with customer that is like a barber. You get to know your customers. There’s nothing like that here. Except a man who is on a power trip. I can’t oretend to know why. I just know that every time I try to fill a prescription, he treats me like a criminal. I will not be using this location for anything ever again. Crime rate is high. Pan handlers meet you at the doors. What else would you expect? The inside matches the outside! Thugs.
Nice staff and pretty quick refills. Also very low prices if you dont have insurance.
They dont seem to enjoy their job. Not in no kinda of rush no matter how many people are in line. Always only one line open. Think I going to start using Walgreens.
Ordering online or by phone really useless. Expect 1-3 days for your prescription. Once had to wait a week for my diabetes medicine even after ordering well ahead of my refill date.
Pharmacy is always late getting meds out, always short, or always leaving meds out of your order
