When you go into a business and youre greeted nicely, helped immediately, it sets the tone for repeat business. I walked in with questions. Jim listened to what ailed my plants like a Dr. would. He knew exactly what my plants needed. I left the store with him holding the door open. I dont know the last time I felt the need to sit in the parking lot and post a positive review. Today I couldnt leave before letting others know what a great business this is. If you go, Ill probably see you there.

They have a great variety of goods for lawn care and pets. I went in for weed and feed and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Great customer service, they carry the bags to my car and their prices are very affordable.

This place is awesome!!! Went there on a Sunday, and they were actually closed, but the owner had stopped by to pick up something, he saw us and opened up. We were able to get all we needed, and at a great price.

Mr. Gillis and his son Jeff are awesome. They are always so friendly and helpful. I went by to get some sand bags in preparation for Hurricane Florence and not only did they have the bags but they also helped me to locate the sand I needed to fill the bags. They really are incredible. I would much rather do business here than any big box store like Lowes or home depot. Thank you guys for being so helpful always.

This is a very old-fashioned garden store. People are extremely courteous and very helpful . When I call it old fashioned I am saying that as a compliment. If you are tired of the Big Chain stores acting like you dont matter this is the place to go for your garden needs they also have a big line of products for your dogs and small animals on a farm.

Best Home Town Feed Store in the Fayetteville area!!!!

Jeff and the entire staff were very attentive when I came to lake rim lawn and garden. Affordable products and friendly customer service

They stock the Diamond dog food formula I feed my kids, and its $3 per bag cheaper than I had been paying on Amazon! Not only that, but the gentlemen refused to allow me to carry the #40 bags out to the truck and one gentleman opened my door and helped me up into the cab and thanked me for stopping by. Now THATS good, old fashioned service! I havent shopped there since it was Gillis & Lindsay back in the 80s, back when Id go there with my grandpa to get feed and calfs milk (you grow up and move to the city and away from your childhood home and forget about the Mom & Pop places all too often), but will be a repeat customer from now on. Its so good to see that some things stay the same (except the name).

Cant say enough about their service and hospitality. Billy and the rest of the guys know and take pride in their business. Their canoe rental is very reasonable and they will transport both ways. They are super family friendly also.

The store and its Father and son ownership reminded me of my childhood home town Country store. I rented a kayak and went out on Lake Rim for a while. It was a beautiful day and Im planning to go again soon.

Little known store, but they have a great amount of nick nacks that come in handy, and arent found in Lowes or Walmart. I go their for dog food/harnesses/bug killer/lawn improvement goods etc. This is an authentic mom and pop store, complete with a dog or cat at the register. Love it.

I go here all the time. Nice family business. They even bring their dog to work. Friendly people and very knowledgeable for all your garden needs as well as animal needs.

This is a great small business in Fayetteville! They have lots of lawn and garden related tools and such that seem to be farm/farmer based rather than universal tools from larger companies. I absolutely love this place, not just because of their selection, but also because they have second to none customer service. I have never ever carried a bag of feed or even a tray of flowers to my car. They load everything for me and always brighten my day.
