Ed, Great Floors, Federal Way. I needed to recarpet an entire house, inexpensively and quickly for sale. Ed provided excellent advice and suggestions for a neutral color. Installation was handled professionally and installers checked their work one final time before leaving. They were not happy with how one seam looked and fixed it. I contacted Justin, the store manager, with a short notice, pressing need for carpet in two rooms. He responded quickly and thoroughly by visiting my home to estimate personally with samples in hand. The he same day he emailed a very fair quote. We later scheduled his installers and the rest is history as they say. Installers were every bit as courteous, professional and thorough as Justin. My children were the beneficiaries of the work. They appreciate the great carpet as much as I do. I very highly recommend Justin and his crew at Great Floors Federal Way.

Great Floors in Renton. Poor customer service. 3 employees sitting at the entrance. No one greeted me as I walked in. Had to ask for help. I was looking for vinyl sheeting. I was shown the sheeting area. Never saw the employee again. I picked 3 samples. Without knowing it, all ended up being vinyl planks placed in the sheeting area. Ended up taking home samples I did not want. Sales person should had seen that it was not what I requested. Brought back the samples next day, again all 3 saw me walk in with the samples, but again all 3 just sat there staring at me. Had to ask for the samples to be checked back in. Would not go back to this Renton Great Floors.

Dana was wonderful! Top of the line with customer service! From the beginning of the job to the completion of the job, she was there the whole time. Dana listened to my request and was very thorough explaining what my options were. Not pushy and very caring. Thank you, Dana!!

Visited Great Floors on a Saturday morning. There were 3 people working and no customers. I had the information for the type of floor I wanted including the brand, which they carried. I had three questions: was it easy to cut the floor myself (DIY), what would an estimate cost, and did they have the floor in-stock in any of their stores or would they have to order from the mill. Their responses: regarding cut the floor = watch YouTube, regarding the estimate = they were able to provide it, regarding if the floor is in-stock = didnt offer to call their other locations and said Id need to wait until Monday. When I requested to have them call me = please call us, were likely not going to remember to call you but well try.They didnt call needless to say. Im not sure if they were having off days or what it was but I was extremely disappointed and cannot recommend enough to go elsewhere.

I had am amazing experience with Great Floors in Federal Way. From the consult with Kim (shes the best!) to installation date, the entire process was made simple and straightforward. I would highly recommend Great Floors and will be using them again when its time for my new kitchen floors!

If i could rate a zero I would. Took Maureen 45 minutes to ring my order up for 4 pieces of t molding to complete my project. Horrible attitude and customer service. They also do not allow any refunds for excess flooring. Had to call to find out my order was ready for pick up. As a contractor I’ll never use them or recommend to any of my clients.

We had a rush job to get new carpeting in an estate property so we could sell it quickly. Great Floors staff and their installers were a huge help in making that happen. We had the house ready and listed in 10 days then sold it 4 days later at $15k over asking price. We are very pleased. Thank you, Mac!

My family and I recently bought a new home and re-carpeted as well as extended the hardwood floors. Dana helped us pick out exactly what we wanted and was amazing! She does everything she can to maximize the products and reduce our cost. The installers were also amazing! They did a great job and were very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Good place to work as an installer

The team at Great Floors in Federal Way truly worked together to help us with a full house reflooring project. Dana worked tirelessly to order samples, answer questions, and brought the entire project within cost with exactly what we wanted. Ron and Maureen jumped in early in the decision process to show us additional flooring options the day we dropped in and Dana was out of the office. Ron even drove right over for an impromptu measurement. Now that is customer service! Great Floors, great team! Thank you

My floors were installed maybe 3-4 weeks ago. Im still having to work with this company to get all that I paid for.At the beginning the lady who sold the floors was awesome. We ordered floor that was not stocked and they had to order. A week passed from when we were told they would have the floors in and had no call from them so we called them.On the day of install the floor guys were supposed to be here between 9-10 and they got here at 11:00. Of course, this was after I called the store. I was told by a Charles he was calling the installers and would call me back. I never got a call back.I after ata hou I called him and was told they would be here at 11. Btw- the floor installers were amazing.Anyways, great floors did not order enough transitions for the doors. Looked at my invoice and they are on there. The next morning I called the store to get a solution.I spoke Rodrick (store manager) who said he would order the transitions and have them installed the following Monday and would be here between 9-10. 10:30 ruled around and I called the store the figure out where they were. Rodrick told me he would call the worker and call me back. I never received a call back. (Supposedly he left a message). I called him a hour later to find that the guy is coming around 11. Again, they forgot about me.I believe the manager didnt order the transitions but pulled some that he thought would work off the floor. These were completely different transitions that did not match.Anyways, I had to call the manager again because he didnt call me. He knew there was an issue with the transitions. I was told he ordered the correct ones and shipped overnight to install Thursday between 9-10.Well on Thursday that was a no call no show.Now I am waiting for the store to open to call. I want a refund for the amount of hours I have had to be home and keeps calling this store.My family owns a property management and real estate office in Federal way and was one of the reasons why we used this company. Never again!

They had what I was looking for and pricing was good.

They do the job. Was a little tough to get them mailed down on the installation date for kitchen countertops, but we worked it all out. End result was good and price was okay.

Dont go here in a Sunday. No warehouse staff.

Customer service is very poor, been trying to get great floors back to fix squeaks and cannot get anybody to show up? New counter tops have cracks. Not very happy with Not So Great Foors!! Do not buy from these people.

The time in the store was fine. We even paid to have our home measured for installation. We were never contacted again. I had to go back to the store 2 weeks later to ask for a refund on my deposit. They blamed the salesman we had. I told them I could change salespeople if they wanted my business. They never contacted me. What a waste of time!!

I rated my experience as one star because it started off well. Dana helped me with a tile sale but my first choice was not available. According to Dana the wait could be as long as 6 weeks, so I went ahead and purchased my 2nd choice of tiles. As luck would have it, a few days later we stopped in at another tile store and they COULD get my first choice, and even at a lower cost. We purchased them on the spot. When I went back to Dana for my refund thats when everything went downhill. First she said that they RARELY do refunds. Then she got it approved ( from her boss?) and I drove the tiles to the supplier. They inspected the order and deemed all tiles were good. Then the song and dance began. I called, visited, called, and visited the store checking on my Visa refund. Excuses after excuses from Dana. Five weeks have passed and my patience is gone. I should note that during all this time, she said she would call me and only once did she actually follow through. Time to schedule an appointment with the Federal Way Great Floor store manager. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future and suggest you do the same.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. My experience was similar to every person who also gave a one star rating. My fiancee and I came into the store about a month ago and was helped by a saleswoman that said she had been working for great floors for 20 years. The saleswoman suggested that we pay the $50 to get our floors measure so she could give us a accurate quote. Their representative came out the next night. He was very friendly and fast. 2 weeks went by and we heard nothing from the saleswoman. We went back into the store on Sunday and a different salesman informed us that the lady that was helping us was not working that day. He took my name and and number. He told me he messaged our saleswoman to let her know we were still waiting on out quote/bid. About a week went by and once again never heard back from out our saleswoman. I wrote an email to Great Floors via their website explaining my situation and disappointment. Once again I never heard back from great floors. We ended up going to Lumber Liquidators in Tukwila and received 5 star customer service. So we gave Lumber liquidators our $8,000 worth of our business. They will also get our future business and recommendations to our friends and family. The very least I expect from great floors is a refund of $50. Since I didnt even get what my measurements were.

I went in for flooring and they have plenty to choose from. The staff is friendly but not motivated. I took some samples home. I went in there again to order flooring on a weekend day. The salespeople seemed preoccupied but the store wasnt that busy. I left a voicemail for a staff member since I couldnt get help the day I was in there. No one called me back so after about a week i ordered the flooring from somewhere else.

I have tried using this store a few times but have gotten so frustrated I use a different Great Floors further away from my house. It takes days to get a call back if they bother to call back at all.
