This is my 100% go-to eye care place. I am a very indecisive person and I tried on nearly every pair of frames they offered.The employees were extremely patient with me and spent a lot of 1 on 1 time helping me out as well as explaining the different benefits ox their various lens and frame options.I brought in an outside prescription from another eye-care place. (They were very gimmicky and glasses/contacts/exam cost nearly double the advertised prices)Lens crafters were straight forward about all of their pricing and options and even without any insurance my glasses + contacts came out to an extremely reasonable price.Excellent experience, excellent customer service, and an overall excellent eye care facility. 10/10 in my books!

Went in to get some adjustments to some previously purchased glasses. Rain was phenomenal and super helpful. Tierra was also super patient and friendly while trying on frames and trying to narrow down options. They were both very attentive and knowledgeable! Thank you both for your amazing service!

The store manager Shelly was amazing. She took time to build a great rapport and answer all of my questions and resolve all of my concerns. She was resourceful and very personable. What a pleasant bunch of sales staff this particular LensCrafters has. I popped in there on a fairly busy afternoon to have a pair of glasses repaired. Unfortunately I had stood on the frames and they were completely at 180°. The frames were repaired promptly for no charge and I was out of there in 10 minutes. All in all a very good, albeit brief, experience.

Was able to schedule for an eye exam the following day on a Sunday. All three associates (1 male and two females) in the store were very helpful. From check-in for my eye exam, and choosing and purchasing glasses. They were really patient with me and very diligent at maintaining cleanliness of the glasses. They even helped me replace the rubber nose pad on my old Oakley sunglasses. I will definitely come back next year to use my unspent HRA funds.Appt with Dr Pham was awesome too! Answered all of my questions and gave great recommendations for my eye health. Highly recommended!

Getting glasses wasnt something I wanted to do, but it was something I definitely needed to do. I had no idea how bad my eyes really were until I had my appointment with the Dr here. He was absolutely wonderful, and had my issue figured out quick and I was seeing 20/20 again while looking studious in the process. Love the shop, love the staff, would 100% recommend!

Saw Phil to help me with some hard to find tiny screws. I brought in longer ones and he custom cut & sized the new screws for a perfect fit! No one else in town could or would help me with this. And his attitude is top notch, friendly, concerned, and helpful. Phil’s the best kind of human there is!

The lense crafters in federal way is absolutely amazing! The entire staff works together from the doctors to the receptionist all were Friendly, helpful, down to earth, no high pressure sales just offering a service and willing to help with expert advice! I am 40 and have been wearing glasses since I was 7 and this is by far the best experience I have had in all my years of eye care!

I needed to get glasses quickly and saw that this particular Lenscrafter has a lens making laboratory. I arrived at 10 am and was warmly greeted by the staff. Andrew, one of the staff, quickly helped me select a great pair of glasses and let me know what options were available to get glasses the same day. After taking my measurements, we agreed to get my glasses at 5 pm that day. I went to Best Buy and then to a coffee shop before I was to go home at 11 am. I received a text message that my glasses were ready. WOW!!! One hour from beginning to end. I called to verify and they said yes, my glasses were ready. I was greeted by the manager with my glasses when I came back and was able to take out my contact lens in their back. The glasses fit perfectly and I am using them while writing my review. I am DEFINITELY only coming here from now on for my glasses. Thanks, Lenscrafters!!!

Absolutely loved the customer service here! First time getting contact lenses— Dr. Pham was super nice and understanding throughout the entire exam and fitting. Jahaira helped me get the most out of my benefits and she thoroughly explained everything for me (in simple terms too, since I was a complete newbie). She also helped me explore my options so I was able to choose what was best for me. Overall, loved my experience here!

We were just helped out by Tomas and Tierra. My wife broke her frames and they went above and beyond to find a new pair of frames that her lenses fit into. It took them a long time to find a pair that fit, but they didnt give up. They could have easily told us no and forced us to buy new lenses. Not only did they spend extra time helping us but they made sure to get us a discount code too. Thanks you guys so much! Highly recommend.

My boyfriend’s glasses broke last weekend and he has been without his eyes for a week. After much calling around to see how to get them fixed we were referred to LensCrafters. We dropped his glasses off around noon and came back around 2 and they were fully repaired and ready to go. FOR FREE. He was treated wonderfully and he and I are both so happy for him to have some eyes. Thank you LensCrafters! You guys are so awesome.

The worst experience at this store. I am not sure if all LensCrafters is like this but I will not be visiting any. I went in to get lenses replaced on my frames that I bought elsewhere. The insurance verification took a long time so one of the associates there said that I can leave the frames there and once the insurance comes through they would call me and finish the transaction over the phone. I didnt want to wait longer because I have already waited 30 plus minutes so I left. I didnt receive any calls that day so I called in and asked what was going on and they said that they were almost closing but did not get anything back from the insurance company. They said they would call me when the insurance comes through. Next day, I DID NOT GET A CALL BACK so I went in again but of course they misplaced my frames. They started to look for my frames which I left the day before and seemed frustrated at the situation as I was sitting there so I felt totally uncomfortable and the attitude displayed was so unprofessional. I kept hearing REPEATEDLY why were the frames left there without a transaction multiple times. They did find my frames and was returned but they could have handled the situation better in front of their customer. HORRIBLE experience. Never going back there.

Service was spot on. Moral was high with staff, however they do need to be a little more low key with peoples personal information like repeating addresses and medical info aloud. still a minor flaw for a great experience. They were very respectful with my family’s ssn which is what really counts.

I had the best experience at this specific location ( Southcenter mall ) with these specific associates. All were fantastic to work with from the eye doctor to the sale associates on the floor. Everyone was a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend Lenscrafters for anyone looking for eyeglasses/contacts and eye exams and I would highly recommend this location purely based on my singular visit here. Copay $40 more expensive than other optometrists to do a non-optional retinal scan. They do not tell you this beforehand as its not a 50 dollar copay its a 10 dollar copay with the retinal scan costing an addiontional 40.I went in for a return after I found this out and was made to wait an hour and a half for 30 seconds of the managers time to do a return.I highly recommend going to a different location and giving a more professional business your money

My encounter with the manager at the Federal Way, WA store yesterday was incredibly unprofessional and against LensCrafters publicly posted policy. I decided to return a brand new pair of glasses and request a refund because they had broken twice within 2 weeks and after telling the technician the story of the glasses, she told me they generally advise people not to buy that particular type because they are fragile. No one told me those type of glasses are a known problem. The manager walked over and asked me several time ‘What is wrong with THESE glasses’? Of course I told her, each time, I don’t have faith in them given my experience and what the technician just told me. She said ‘there is nothing wrong with them, we sell hundreds of them’. Not only her words but her attitude was angry and dismissive. This was all very public. I asked to talk to a store manager, she said ‘that’s me. You’re stuck with me’. Wow. I was completely blown away. Ultimately she said ‘you don’t want any resolution’ and finally did the paperwork to issue the refund. I will never go into another LensCrafter store. I will share this experience with my company’s benefits office as well as the insurer. In addition to the incident described, just trying to get these glasses was fraught with problems. Each time I called to see if my glasses were ready, the technician told me they had texted me and I never responded. Well, each time they told me that I asked what number they contacted and it was not my number. Each time. And each time I asked them to correct it and it was never corrected. I am done with LensCrafters. Lastly, the “30 day happiness guarantee” means nothing when the manager, of all people, doesn’t understand her role in managing people, service and policy.

Poor customer service, very unprofessional. Dont go here at all. I went here last week to exchange the frames I bought at LensCrafters Tacoma (which has a better customer service and care). Somebody already told me about this location - poor service but I didnt listen, still went here to check their selection of frames.When I came in the store nobody came to help. All employees seems not to care, not friendly at all. Philip (Technician) helped me out and sort things. But when I came to pick up my frames today it was the same frame I had - Sarbjeet (probably the manager) Not sorry at all for the mistake/inconvenience that happened. Very rude to talk to.All employees at this store is very rude and always on their phone. Go to Tacoma or somewhere else instead. By far the worst customer service I experienced w/ lenscrafters.

I took my son to see Dr.Pham and we couldn’t be happier! I was able to schedule an appointment for myself at the same time and have a prescription for glasses for both of us!I have read some of the negative reviews and it have nothing to do with the clinic! Its your responsibility to know what your insurance covers and doesnt cover not the staff or the Dr. Take some responsibility for your own health. Dr. Pham is as skilled as he is kind and professional.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. My daughter and I went there because our insurance covered the exam with no co pay. We are told we have to pay a $39.95 fee in order to get the exam. The optometrist was very rude and short with me if I didnt understand what she was wanting me to do.

I will start with the good - I was able to pick up my glasses the very next day after coming in. However, customer service was definitely lacking at this location. This was by far my worst customer service experience with Lenscrafters to date.I came to the Federal Way location about an hour after getting my eye exam at the Tacoma Mall (Macys), where the customer service had been phenomenal. I decided to come to Federal Way after the representatives at the Tacoma Mall told me that this location would be the fastest at making glasses (a week there vs a day at Federal Way).As I walked in to Federal Way, I was greeted very coldly and was informed that they closed in about an hour. Eventually, someone came to get my information - and while I picked out some frames, it seemed as if she pretended to enter my information for the entire time...from the other end of the room.After waiting some time for her to come back to help me through the process, she never did (and its not like she had another customer) - and so I walked over to her to see if she had forgotten about me. Only then did I get the help I needed...but it felt as if I had to beg for help.In short, if you are not in a rush to get your glasses - you may want to consider another location, if customer service is important to you.

I would give zero stars if i was able to, my husband and i came in and there was no one in the front desk. We waited a bit to see if anyone would come to us but no one did. In that moment, the phone began to ring. Then a woman came towards the desk and I thought we were finally going to get some service but then she answers the phone instead. But that wasnt the biggest problem. The biggest problem came when we were still waiting and a woman who works there came to help a man who had entered AFTER us. That alone told me two things. One they dont want my business and two, their customer service is terrible. I would rather go to Americas Best because at least they acknowledge customers.

ZERO STARS! My advice, do not buy anything from this company. Lens fell out of 6 month old frames. Went in to Fed Way store where frames were purchased. They said the wrong screw was cross-threaded into frames. They are the ones that installed the screws. Told us there’s nothing they can do. REALLY terrible customer service. They do not stand behind their workmanship or products.

ZERO STARS. My advice, know your insurance benefits BEFORE you come in. First the eye exam. Tacked on extra services (retina scan) I didnt need and was not informed those services were optional and not covered by insurance. Contact lens fitting, what a joke. I told them what contacts I currently wear, guy brought me a pair of dailys to try on. The expiration date on the package was about 6 months past due. Asked if they were comfortable. Literally 10 seconds of his time. No additional fitting procedures at all. EXTRA charge. My daughter got some glasses. The employee was a newbie it seems, had to keep going to another person to ask if she was doing it right. They tacked on some antiglare coating charge without asking if she wanted it. When I later asked about the charge since my insurance covers that feature, the manager said well she got the tier 4 anti glare and my insurance only covers tier 1. What a scam they have. BUYER BEWARE. One thing i can say, at least the glasses seem okay. But who know if i got some upgrade antiglare feature or now. Will never be going back.

I was way more happier here than I thought I would be. The eye exam was quick and easy, and the people that work here are really nice and professional. This is one of the last placed that still make the glasses there in the office. After the exam was over they sent my prescription off and they were finished within an hour. Im glad I used LensCrafters.

I had an Exam & bought my Glasses here 2 1/2 Years ago. That was great! Came back here just recently because Im​ due for my next Exam & get some new glasses after 2 1/2 Years & Savannah is awesome. She checked my Insurance to make sure if Im​ covered, Came in as soon as I​​ can and helped me along the way to see which glasses are best for me that i chose. She also listens carefully with any questions that I​ have and answered them very properly.Recently, Something was not right with my new Glasses that wasnt adjusted right. So i came back the day after I​ picked up my new glasses and she helped me right away to get them adjusted right.So, If anyone wants a great experience and someone whos very knowledgeable​, Helpful & Takes their time answering any of your Vision, Lenses & Frame questions & make sure you have a great experience, Id recommend going to Savannah & shell take great care of you!

Horrible customer service! Yesterday 3/28 I came in, Michelle is so rude and unprofessional I am not ever coming back here again. First when I came in my appointment she let me know that my insurance would only cover this and that. So I declined some services due to how much some extra exam items were. Also Michelle stated I had 60 days to get a contact prescription through my insurance. I decided to go with frames instead, the doctor was quick and not so much caring to my eye needs. When I finished I did not like any frames I saw. So today 3/29 I called to see what my options are regarding contact lenses. She was so rude when she answered the phone assuming I needed to schedule when I said I had a few questions, then told me she would look up my insurance information and call back because she was in the middle of helping another customer. When she called back she could not even answer my questions and said I would pay out of pocket for my contact exam. This place is a complete rip off when I called my insurance they told me they covered both exams and lenses. They will try to get over on you for you to pay more then.I would suggestion and recommend if you were helping another customer then why answer the phone? You could have also put me on hold, I could have patiently waited. Also always check with your insurance in which I did what she said to me is false I do not plan on coming back here.

I made an appointment for my son over a week ago give them the insurance information, was told I would get a call back on how much it would cover same day. 4 days go by I kept calling the right hand doesnt know from the left hand finally got ahold of somebody they would call me back never did end up canceling the appointment. Very Limited store hours at the Federal Way location. Open 9 hours a day. This makes it very inconvenient to shop here. This is a single building retail location, you should be open pretty much 9am-9pm. It is difficult to pick up glasses after work when the store closes at 7pm. Only open 7 hours on Sundays.The sales staff is mostly incompetent. If an order can be done wrong it will be done wrong at this store. The staff is not nice or pleasent to work with, they are rude and condescending. These are the people who will tell a customer I dont like your tone or attitude, I am only a clerk, I dont get paid to put up with you...This location will make you wonder why they have a lab here. They were unable to proivde my glasses in about an hour even though I have a very normal prescription and ray ban frames.This is a part time location. Everyone at this location, including the eye doctor, acts like part time employees. Little attention will be given to you as a customer. The clerk working with you now is not going to be there when you pick up your order. They sure wont give you service that will keep you coming back.Next year Ill be trying Americas Best or Pearl Vision since I had to wait two weeks for my glasses anyways. Glasses in about an hour, yeah right. Only open during the times were at work?! Shop at the Federal Way location at your own risk.

Quality Control of this location is very very BAD. I purchased three pair of glasses from this location spending over 3k. One of my frame was damaged by their lab so they ordered a replacement frame for my damaged frame. Within two days I received the call that my new frame arrived, I rush to the store to find out that they ordered a different color for me without consulting with me. I asked the lady that was helping me why dont someone check to make sure the order is correct prior to calling me to tell me that my replacement frame is here??? Oh, we can reorder for you again. Oh lord...again???? This is my last time of doing business with this store location. I will stay clear of this location and will let my friend and family know to do the same thing. Please take your business somewhere else but this location. I will update my post once I receive my replacement frame.

From the time I walked in until the time I left I was treated well The doctor explained what he was doing and what the results were every step of the way. The ladies in the front of the store helped me find the best frames for me and got me measured in no time at all When I picked up my glasses I discovered some discrepancies that were not ok with me so they allowed me to use the glasses until my new and corrected glasses came in I will go back to them in the future.

The Eye Doctor cares about your sight. The 1 I have been dealing with is 100 about doing right by you the 1st time. The Sales personnel U may have 2put your foot down with about you bringing your OWN FRAMES versus LENSCRAFTERS MARKED UP FRAMES. Sales tried to write my PRESCRIPTION UP too look like they didnt have onsite. Wow. Other than that a Goid Place to get your EYES BACK RIGHT.

The Optometrist was very thorough. You may pay a little more for the exam but you get what you pay for. There were more test and equipment than I had ever seen for an eye exam for a prescription for eye glasses. I felt this was well worth the mony. The doctor was pleasant and professional.The rest of the staff was courteous, very competent and delivered as they promised. I am quite pleased with the experience.

Everyone was polite and gave me great service. However, the complaint I have is with my glasses and prescription. I took my glasses back within the 30 days because the initial prescription wasn’t right since my eyes were strained and my vision blurry at times. They did fix it. However, I still think my prescription is off because after fixing the problem my eyes can’t adjust to the new lenses. Consequently, I see better with my old glasses than with the new glasses from LensCrafters. While my experience with the doctor and all the staff was good, I’m thoroughly disappointed with my glasses as they were a waste of money.

The two ladies at the store I encountered were not helpful and not friendly at all. I was almost forced to get service/exam I did not need (retinol imaging). Very poor customer service indeed in my opinion. Dr Pham on the other hand was kind and professional. Would not revisit this location in the future.

Horrible Experience! Been getting my glasses here but lately is been a nightmare, I am so disappointed with my RayBans because they keel falling apart and wiggle so much. It says made in China and kept going back to get a different ones but they don’t care. Don’t use this glasses because I am very unhappy. Be aware

Great customer service from first walking into the door, getting my eye exam done by Dr. Pham and then having Derrick help me with picking out frame and lenses. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you!!

Stay away from this place. They are overpriced, and offer poor quality product. The only reason I went to Lens Crafters is that I broke my glasses, and heard they could do it same day. When they told me it would take a week I should have run! With insurance, I paid $300 NOT including the eye exam. If I recall correctly the full price was around $600 but not 100% positive.Fast forward to a month and 6 days later (note that they have a 30 day warranty). My glasses that are scratch resistant have developed a terrible scratch, right in the center of my view. I took it in, went through the blame game, Well you probably cleaned them with your shirt, Do you place them face down at night, etc. I held up a pair of prescription sunglasses I have had for over 2 years saying, I treat them like I do these, and I have had these for over 2 years. While my sunglasses have minor scratches, they are nothing like the scratch that developed in 36 days.Of course, unless you pay $35 for a 1 year warranty, they will not do anything after 30 days. All other places I have bought glasses from offer a 1 year warranty for free.The assistant manager was nice, and offered me a 20% discount on lenses. When I asked how much it would be with the 20% off, they told me $398!!!!! Why the hell would I spend $400 for a product that you dont stand behind, which is obviously faulty?I politely asked for my prescription, and will be ordering glasses from Warby Parker. They have glasses starting at $95. If you need high index lenses, its $125.

We came in and ordered glasses in September and was talked into trying tri-focal lenses. I had originally ordered regular glasses and sun glasses. I came right back and canceled the sunglasses order the same day because I wanted to try the tri-focal lenses.I submitted all the paperwork to my insurance and received reimbursement for the ONE pair I ordered. I never received a call saying they had arrived, and contacted the company several times about the receipt and I was charged for both. I kept being told they would get back to me. I even came in in person and was told they didnt show I had anything. They would get back to me. Life got busy and I forgot to pursue this until preparing my taxes and one day I received an email from them with a receipt about the sunglasses (mind you I canceled them). I have continued to call 1-2 times per week for the past month, promised a phone call back and nothing. Today I was told sorry, we cannot reimburse you the money we charged..even though the glasses were never ordered, never picked up and never listed on the copy for my insurance. No way to pay me back, they didnt even show me ordering them...just simply asking about the price. I found it interesting though if I can find MY copy of the paperwork they can in fact reimburse me. I dont have a copy of a purchase, because I never ordered them. They cant even find an order...simply that they overcharged my account because I had ASKED about the purchase amount. Worst customer service ever.

The doctor was nice, and the technician who helped me locate and fit my frames was great. However, just like everyone else it seems, I had a terrible experience with the docs front desk woman. Middle aged, Asian, rude as all get out. I arrived about 30 minutes early for my appointment, and after spending five cleaning out/reorganizing my bag, she interrupted me with a lets get this show on the road, youre going to be late and were all waiting for you. I looked at her incredulously, said Im way early. She almost argued with me, then just looked at the time and huffed about until he was reafter for me. You know. 45 minutes later.

Absolutely horrible! They seem like greasy slimy car salesman of glasses! They wouldn’t pull my insurance and told me my ID # was invalid and needed a credit card until they could figure it out. After i saw the doc, picked my frames then they tell me I’ll have to pay in full and submit it to my insurance for a rebate.....umm noooo instead of them just saying they don’t take(or are just to lazy to look up) my insurance they tried to tell me how my insurance worked! Are you F-ing kidding! I know What my insurance is!Eye doctor (which isn’t affiliated) was great! Saw the eye doctor, then picked out frame which they only have super spendy ones, went and started talking to the gal to get my price. Which I’m already tempted to leave over their dumb pay in full and submit BS, then no joke the gal tells me well you’ll be getting half off your lenses since you don’t have insurance.....yes i do!!!! Then tells me half off is $395 just for the leneses!!! So they were originally $800 and your doing a favor ripping me off for $400!! The frames were $300! So they wanted me to pay $700 right then and there then submit it to my insurance! What a F-ing joke! I laughed at her and told her no way I’ll go else where! Went to Vista Optical at the Fred Meyers she had ZERO ZERO problem looking up my insurance! I got a pair of glasses and a pair of Sun glasses with the dumb fancy computer lenses plus two year warranty on both for $296!!! Less then the frames alone at LensCrafters!If you don’t want to be ripped off or waste a few hours of your day and be snarked at and looked down upon then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go ANYWHERE ELSE!!

I moved up to Washington recently and needed contacts for work, I ran out and had my prescription sent to this location from my previous Optometrist. Unfortunately, the receptionist (Debbie) was very condescending and difficult, she refused to help and suggested that I drive 4.5 hours to my old doctors office to pick up a pair of contacts to hold me over. I wont be giving this Lenscrafters my business, I urge you to do the same. If you like good customer service DO NOT speak with Debbie.
