Ive been having lots of trouble getting my previous pharmacy and doctor to talk to one another to fill my prescription and unfortunately asked my doctor to try the rite aid at this location. After checking their hours I called around 8:30am just to make sure that they had at least seen the request from my doctor. I listened to their voicemail over and over listing their hours and asking if I wanted to speak with the pharmacy which I continued to say yes to as I just assumed they may have just been busy. By 8:45am someone finally picked up to angrily tell me that their hours are 9:00am to such and such. Something I guess I should have known as a new customer? It was a super frustrating experience on top of everything. I ended up calling a little later and got a much nicer employee. All of that being said, I wont be going back to this location for anything.

Pharmacy is super short staffed, however, they still try their best to help their patients. I was there for a shot and was observing the pharmacist who was helping cashiering, doing covid testing, and get my vaccine ready. The pharmacist was fast, efficient and yet tried to serve every possible patient and prioritize the work so no one waits so long. I feel sorry for whoever is working there, I hope they will get more staff in soon. Keep it up there, your work ethic is amazing.

I don’t know if they are still short staffed or what, but I have called every day for the last four days, more than once a day, to no avail. I am in California at the moment dealing with a death in the family, and I have tried to call them concerning my medications that are ready. And every time I call, it just rings and sends me back to the main menu. I even talked to an employee in the store, who kindly transferred me and also said that he would page them, yet to no avail. I am beyond frustrated at this point. Seriously thinking of changing pharmacies, even though I have been with this pharmacy over two and a half years. Extremely disappointed.

Horrible customer service at the pharmacy. Incredibly rude. If you have a choice, take your prescription anywhere else.If you’re reading this you can see a pattern. Rite Aid says “reach out” but obviously is not taking action. Customers deserve better. Stop enabling them by giving them your business.

I scheduled 2 covid vaccines online. Both times they were cancelled by email on the day I was to get my shot. WOW I am upset right now! I work face to face with people who have covid! I will NEVER shop at a Rite Aid again.

The lady that works in the pharmacy with has such a harsh tone with people I think she forgets she’s getting paid to be there so give it a least a little more effort. I’ve watched her be rude to multiple people that are just trying to get their prescription. The federal way location needs a new pharmacy lady to give out prescriptions!

Im not someone to write reviews but can we just talk about the manager Jennifer! I go into this store every other day and each time I pray she does not help me. She makes me feel that I am an inconvenience to her and that she is so busy that she runs around with her head cut off and completely rude with her snarky comments. I am standing there waiting for service and literally huffs at me and said ugh I was helping someone over there..... Then why did you come to me. I am so over her that I am taking my business else where!

This pharmacy seriously has the worst customer service. Every time I’ve come to pick up a prescription, I’ve witnessed rude staff who don’t seem to be sympathetic to their patrons. I waited in line today for 30 minutes and I watched every single person in front of me have a negative experience with either the pharmacists, the manager, or the window worker.

Everyone Ive encountered in this pharmacy are the rudest, most miserable people. Ive watched the work ethic in this pharmacy slowly go down hill over the course of the years of me coming here, and im happy to say I will never do business with them again. The pharmacist I spoke to today was literally so mean he made me cry. I couldnt believe he spoke to me the way that he did. No one behind that counter gives a s*** about their job. Just quit and pick a different career.

Don’t go here for your RX if you ever want to use the drive through. It’s always a super long line, so you end up having to go in a lot. Also “Lane 2” is drop off only but not labeled as such. I had my baby sleeping in the back, the male pharmacist told me Lane 2 isn’t working, and it’s for drop off only anyway, and they are closing in 40 minutes anyway so its easier to just come in and get my RX. I was telling him it’s not easier to come in for me… I’d have to wake my baby. He didn’t hear me because he quickly turned off the monitor and proceeded with other people. I am really upset with this type of service. Just rude. They don’t care and are so unprofessional.

Bathroom not accessible as someone stole key 5 days ago as stated by employee. Doesnt know when or if it will be replaced. The least that could be done is post on bathroom door out of service so customer doesnt wait for 15 min for another person to come out and then asking if you need a key. Im pretty dissatisfied with this location. My son has now been 2 weeks without his medication because this location has a huge failure when communicating with customers. You cant get ahold of anyone through the phone. Still havent gotten his meds filled! Whoever answers just puts it on hold & there you will sit for 20 minutes!! My daughter was seen by her doctor & prescribed meds yesterday at around 2 pm. I call at 5 pm to see if theyre ready and was told theyd be ready by 8 pm. Next day called again around 10 am still not ready. Its now after 2 pm and I cant get through & still havent received a text saying her meds are ready. Under no circumstance is this acceptable. Its frustrating! My son who is a heart patient needs his meds and I still dont know if they were able to get the insurance figured out. Still waiting on meds after 2 weeks for him with no word from the pharmacy where theyre at with their part.

The pharmacy must be severely understaffed. Showed up for a 7p appointment after driving 2hrs in traffic from the north end, went inside at 6:15p, was told I needed to use the drive thru. Waited in the drive thru for over 1hr for a c19 test. Sat at the window for another 25min without as little as a greeting or explanation: they actually went out of their way to ignore people at the drive thru window. When I was greeted, briefly told c19 tests stop at 5p (despite my printout and 2 email reminders noting my 7p appointment). Another 20 min to talk to pharmacist and before I could take the test and leave. All in all just under 2 hrs + the drive. Felt bad for the pharmacist and the gal working there; Im sure they had to contend with some irate people throughout their day.

Great customer service! The pharmacist really took her time to explain to me what each medication was for and when to take them. Not too long of a wait which is appreciated since I didn’t call my order in ahead of time. Will def use this pharmacy again!

Was told I would get a call back. Never got a call and then when I did call they told me they called but I didnt answer NOT TRUE I WAITED ALL DAY FOR THE CALL IT NEVER HAPPENED. I can understand it getting busy and not having a chance to call but I dont appreciate being lied to.

PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I dont write reviews often, but could not help leaving one after experiencing such a great customer service. Deilana, who I believe recently started her job there just was amazing. She personally made calls to help me to the best of her ability for nearly two hours, helping other customers meantime. I had felt so bad for taking too much of her time, but she definitely stopped me from having the worst day ever. I was not able to complete my business I intended on accomplishing, which was not at all her fault, I was extremely happy with the service I was provided, thanks to Deilana. The situation I put her in may have been frustrating and demanding but she kept a smile on her face and maintained professionalism. Fantastic customer service, work ethic and personality.

Went to do a drive thru test. The employee was not helpful at all, didn’t provide any guidance on self-administering the test, didn’t provide any information on how to get results, and generally seemed like they hated their job. After 5 days of waiting for Covid test results, I received a notification saying that my sample wasn’t able to be analyzed because the sample was improperly taken. How is a layperson like myself supposed to know how to self administer my own nasal swab? So frustrating.Edit: I followed Rite Aid’s response and called customer care. Care said they would call back within 1-2 days. It’s been about 2 weeks now, and I am yet to have heard back.

The rudest workers! Follow you around like your screening. They have items up on the shelf where boxes I have bought are EMPTY! Guess they are following around the WRONG people. The Pharmacy is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. The Pharmacist had the nerve to tell me he wasnt going to fill my prescription because they were closing in 5 minutes! When my script should have been filled 3 days prior. I told him I drove 35 min to pick it up at last minute because I finally had gotten a ride since my car was in the shop. I had to actually argue with him to get it filled! 5 times in a row had problems. One time they told me my prescription wasnt their! The next day after I called my Dr to verify they sent it, they then said that yes they did have it the whole time. They lost my insurance information and also told me it was not their job to call my insurance company to see if my reauthorization was sent. It IS THEIR JOB!

I normally go to the fredmeyer pharmacy but decided to use this one just for the convenience of.being so close to the urgent care clinic. The dr sent in a prescription for some eyedrops. It Was a nice night so i decided to take my time walking over to give them time to fill it. Approx 30 minutes. Got there and still had to wait almost another 30 minutes for my eye drops. I may not be the smartest person but i know it doesnt take an hour to grab a box off the shelf and put the label on it. Stay away from this pharmacy they are super slow. They are the most convenient for me so Ive cut them slack despite slow service pretty much constantly, and the fact that every time I have renewed a prescription online they dont actually start filling it until I show up at the store. Not long ago, I dropped off a prescription and was told to come back in an hour. The next day I came to pick it up, and was told it wasnt ready yet and to come back in an hour. The next day...you guessed it. FOUR DAYS later I finally got the refill and they said oh, we didnt get the shipment until today.But the last straw came today when I found out that they literally LOST MY PRESCRIPTION for Adderall. A controlled substance. And they dont even have it in their files. Im done. Dont come here unless you have a masochistic streak.

Oh my God this store is awful. The Boss and Meloney are jaded. I got out of the gym today and went next door to return some ear phones I bought that didnt work. somehow I assumed I went to this federal way rite Aid but, I guess I went to the one near my home in Auburn. Also my item wasnt on the receipt which I was trying to figure out. Things happen. Not everyones a liar!I its Christmas time Ive been to so many stores I guess I got confused.They treated me like a person who is trying to steal from them ! This was the most humiliating moment of my life. Im sorry Im human and I make mistakes but you could have handled it better guys. Maybe help me figure out what it went wrong. I was racing from urgent care to this pharmacy, hoping to fill my daughters prescription before they closed. I called to let them know I was on the way and the lady requested the insurance information. I pulled over to give it to her, but there were complications. She patiently helped me try to figure it out, then suggested a different number to try. She somehow sorted it out and told me she would try to have it ready (it was 9:42pm by this time and they close at 10pm). When we got there at 9:48, she had it all ready! I just had to sign and I was on my way. I was quite impressed and very thankful that my daughter did not have to wait till morning to start her medication.

Sad the world we live in today. I went in yesterday afternoon(10-9-19) to buy something. They didn’t have the color I want so I end up buying some batteries and another item. Walk out the door and start to beep. Let the older lady check my bag and she accuse me of shoplifting. Told me I had shampoo in my pocket. Feeling very disrespected and upset. Empty all my pocket and said wat shampoo. In front of customer no less. I’ll be in contact with my lawyer this week because that was ridiculous. This pharmacy has been in absolute shambles for the last couple of months. There is always an extremely long line, and it’s rare that they get things right my first visit. I’ve had to go 2, 3 even 4 times for 1 prescription, and this has been on multiple instances, but there is always some excuse for why it is not ready. Anytime I call first to try to confirm my scripts are ready, I’m on hold for a very long time, 20 mins or more in some cases. I could drive there quicker to figure out if it’s ready or not. I’m not sure what is going on because it has not always been this way. I hope they can figure things out soon...

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I Recently moved from Auburn. .. I use to go to the Rite Aid on South Auburn Way. . I had no trouble with them and they had great customer service. .. since I moved to Federal Way and had to change location to this Rite Aid here off of 320th it as been nothing but a nightmare. They never have your prescription done on time! Dont matter if you call it in 3hr beforehand when you come in your gonna have to still wait! I just dont get why they are so unorganized when they have so much staff working at the same time. They really need to get there priorities straight! They all can use a Customer service Class.They need to learn how to be more on time with there prescription.

The manager ALWAYS complains whenever I ask her about anything or ask for things only kept in the back. She sighs and grumbles the whole time, even if its not me shes talking to. Shes rude and exasperated every single time I come in. All the front staff are fantastic and always apologetic for her. They are very friendly.

Federal way RiteAid is understaffed....I call my prescription over the phone and the machine tells me it will be ready at a certain time, I show up, and always have to comeback another day because they oversold my prescription. A couple of times the guy told me that my insurance wouldn’t pay for a whole months supply and lied, because when I called my insurance they said that the guy did a charge test and they approved it. But they were out of my prescription as always, so he gave me a 15 day supply and lied saying that my insurance wouldn’t pay for the entire month, he did that to me twice. Don’t use this pharmacy it sucks!

Every rite aid store Ive been to hires the rudest people. It must be a prerequisite to working there. They told me 45 minutes for my prescriptions and it was over an hour I waited they never called my name in the store but I got a text message saying that they were ready. I had two boxes of Kleenex has with me and she didnt ring them up when I asked her if I needed to go wait in line she said no Ill do it this time. If my insurance would let me use any other pharmacy I would in a heartbeat.

Terrible terrible pharmacy. The manager is a moron. After repeated attempts to use them over the last few yrs I give up. The service is unbearable. They have given me the WRONG prescription twice. The manager is extremely argumentative. He will argue absurd things and get loud and aggressive. Hes unprofessional and by all accounts unqualified. They just refused to transfer a prescription to Safeway or give me info on it being ready over the phone. I called Safeway and they said thats Illegal, then said they wont do business with them until they call them. Wow. Avoid the pharmacy at all costs! The twin lakes one is night and day better!

Horrible. My doctor sent a prescription there. My husband picked it up. 1.The important direction of not eating with food was cut off and not on the bottle. Poor warning!2, I took medication as it was directed--I did my research. Then I had a bad reaction. My doctor said I was allergic. So I called the pharmacy to let them know and put it on my list of not to take.3. Ordeal! For an hour I tried to telephone the pharmacy with their number on my bottle. Ordeal! First they passed me off and then their phone (accidentally) disconnected. I called back. After going thru their encumbersome message and pushing the appropriate number, a real person answered. I asked for pharmacy. She deliberately hung up. I called back repeatedly and they did not answer. What is going on? This is unprofessional.Would you want this lack of professionalism taking care of your prescriptions that will impact your body and well being????

This is the worst pharmacy. The staff is rude. My doctor called in a prescription for me, simple antibiotic, nothing complicated. I waited an hour to go pick it up. Got there and told it was going to be at least 2 more hours. There was no one in the store. I have no idea why that would take so long. I wouldn’t be so upset if the girl was at least apologetic about the long wait. Get more staff for your pharmacy. The lines for their registers in front are always crazy long too. This store is clearly understaffed. There are always people out front asking for money. They need to fix this locations issues. I won’t be back.

This is the worst Pharmacy in Federal Way. Whoever is writing positive reviews about this Pharmacy must be an employee. Every time I call to check on a prescription I receive massive amounts of attitude from everyone in the Pharmacy department. The young woman at the drive thru window acts like it some inconvenience to her that you are there to pick up your prescription. 2 times now they have messed up ordering medication for my prescription and then decided the best thing to do would be to give me attitude because they messed up an order. I would suggest anyone use any other pharmacy but this one, unless you enjoy being treated like absolute crap. Google requires I leave a star rating but 0 is not allowed or I would use that.

The pharmacist would not listen to my insurance rep and give a 3 day supply of my seizure medication. They have no compassion whatsoever. I will never purchase anything from this store ever again. I am telling all my friends and relatives to stay away as well. Its a shame, because the Rite Aid pharmacy in Lakewood, is number 1 in my experience. Worst Rite-Aid Ive ever been to. They send you a message that your prescription is ready, but dont actually get it ready for you. Ive also had doctors verify that this Rite-Aid receives prescriptions via fax, but will lie to you and say they never received it to buy them more time because theyre always behind schedule.

I’m a chronic pain patient and have filled my pain meds here the pst several months. My doctor sends the script electronically a few days before it is due to be filled. I always call to make sure it is there, that’s never an issue. The first few times when I came in to pick up they were usually just getting it filled now, every time I come in I’m told come back in an hour. I need it fille in the morning as I work and cannot pick up later. The staff is very rude and give me the impression they don’t want to be there. I willBe going back to using CVS from now on. I know from my pain doc that they have told other patients that they have to wait 5+ hours for their meds. This is absolutely ridiculous and absurd. There is NO reason you need 5 hours to fill a medication! Bad place, awful people!

My doctor place the prescription for me. When I reach the pharmacy one lady told me to come back in an hour. I come back after an hour, another lady was the there and said my prescription JUST came in and told me to come back for an hour. When I told her I was asked to come back earlier. Then she asked me to wait, she went somewhere. When she come back, she told me we dont have your medicine, come back tomorrow afternoon.... I normally dont write reviews but this experience set me over the edge.. This is not the first time but it will certainly be my last with Rite aid pharmacy! My son is really sick and was prescribed antibiotics yesterday at 2:00 pm. They did not have it ready... I came back today at 1:30 pm and the lady that was working the register said she needed my primary insurance information, I told her the kiddos only have that one insistence, she insisted I get the info to her... I asked why no one called me about this and she said hmmmm let me check in our system of anyone did notify you...Nope! I ask her how long will it take to make the medicine she said an hour after she gets the info.. okay so I get the info, she sends me over to the lady that deals with all the insurance information 🙄... this is what Im told. So we already have all your information but the problem is your inurence says you have a primary which makes this one your secondary ... aha well thats not correct so you need to call them again and have them fix that.... what?!!! Where were you half an our ago with the ????? I call again and am told I have to wait four hours for that to get fixed an another hour for them to make the medicine! All of this could have been avoided if I had simply been called or given correct steps to make it right! But no they look completely lost and keep saying oh Im sorry about that! Do your job and you wont have to be sorry .... on top of that there were three customers who were turned down because there prescriptions werent ready or they didnt have enough information! I have been using this pharmacy for many years and never once have I had a bad experience. They have caught meds my doctor prescribed that Im allergic to twice. Me, my daughter and my son in law will continue using this pharmacy for years.

One bad apple can ruin a whole bushel! There are a couple female workers at this pharmacy that cop an attitude with my elderly mother who cant hear. I have had positive experiences at this store, but some of the women working at the pharmacy are plain RUDE!

The pharmacy technicians are rude. They act like you are bothering them by making them do their job. All i did was call to ask about my prenatals daying i lost them and what i could do in the meantime until the 29th which is when they refill and all she said was i had to pay a months worth out of pocket or wait. Then informed me after i was frustrated that they could call my insurance company and see what they could do and to give them my cell nunber so yhey can text me when my prescription was ready. I was so confused because im not paying a months worth of pills for 5 days of pills i need. They are so confusing and rude. I hate this pharmacy have always had nothing but problems.

Rude employees, horrible customer service, losing my prescriptions (my doctor had to electronic send, call, and fax multiple times), getting prior authorization for my meds but then not filling them, out of my medication even though they know when I get my meds, etc. Unprofessional, rude, arrogant staff.Yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back... ANITA a pharmacy tech was rude, obnoxious, hateful, and hung up on me mid sentence. Yes, HUNG UP ON ME!!! Then I called back trying to explain the problem and that their math was wrong on the amount of days the prescription was supposed to last. They wouldnt answer the phone to my number. I called 5 times and pressed 0 to be transferred to pharmacy... I literally heard a pick up and a click each time. It was then I realized that they truly were and are actually denying me of a medication I have to have that is incredibly DANGEROUS to miss a dose of... PEOPLE HAVE DIED GOING OFF THIS MEDICATION for a day and they didnt care. I spoke with the manager GARY he was not helpful and proceeded to blame the whole situation on me because I was angry when I spoke to him... OF COURSE I WAS ANGRY YOUR EMPLOYEE WAS RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME. He basically acted like I caused the situation. I spoke with the pharmacist TRACY and she was just as rude as ANITA and refused to correct THEIR error NOT mine. TRACY actually said I am to busy to deal with you! And set down the phone didnt hang up but left it off the hook where I could hear what was going on. TO BUSY TO DEAL WITH ME... seriously to busy to deal with a LOYAL Rite Aid customer who between me and my father get over $10,000 worth of meds a month. I AM A GOLD MEMBER FOR GODS SAKE that tells you how much money they are making off of me. Not that they care. I was literally in tears at their drop off counter because of how badly I was treated... I was treated as though I was some kind of druggie or something that didnt matter, my pain didnt matter, the fact that I could have seizures or die because they wouldnt fill my prescription on time NOT early as they were trying to say. It was simple math I showed them and Gary their manager agreed that my math was right and theirs was wrong BUT said and I quote What do you want me to do about it? We cant change the computer. Really? You cant fix how you guys put it in the computer with the wrong amount on the script. So, because I suffer from chronic pain I was treated like a a POS drug addict. I whole heartedly believe that the only reason they were giving me problems correcting it when they saw the SIMPLE MATH plain as day (75 pills at 3xday=25 days NOT 28) was to protect their rude employee ANITA and her original actions. I would think that if your employee, Anita (and Tracy) treats a customer as she did me (and probably many others) they would at least be SUSPENDED until she got more customer sensitivity training NOT defended! Under no circumstance should a employee (multiple employees at this particular store) in a customer service position be allowed to degrade and belittle a customer as these employees did to me and GET AWAY WITH IT!! I hope those phone calls were recorded and corporate listens to them!This Rite Aid is a joke and should be put out of business (or fire everyone and rehire new friendly people) they give the entire Rite Aid brand a bad name. I guarantee you that they have lost a lot of business because of this store... I miss my old Rite Aid in Mill Creek on 128th they were so amazing... After dealing with this rite aid in Federal Way I am done with Rite Aid unless I move back to Mill Creek area. So to sum this up... DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! Boycott them all together until they get rid of their rude staff starting with Anita and Tracy... as far as Gary the manager goes he is OK but needs some serious training in customer service... he need not defend his hateful, arrogant, and rude staff he should stand up for Rite Aid customers that the rude staff is running off... They couldnt even pay me to go back to this rite aid until ANITA and TRACY are FIRED!!!

Horrible horrible pharmacy so slow and never have any prescriptions ready even if you call at 630 am and try to pickup at 3 pm . I have never spent less than 20 minutes at this pharmacy. I cannot wait for CVS to open down the street. Do not go to this pharmacy.
