I feel bad that I ended up not using their services however, when I changed my mind because a better offer had presented itself he was understanding and professional. Never been so offended in my life. Very rude management. They also made a point to yell at me to wear a mask while i was at the entrance but allowed other non black folks to shop with out a mask. I had a return of a bike that i purchased a protection plan for and they treated me like I stole it. Never going here to buy anything else.

First of all Ive been dealing with Cash America Pawn for several years,I had terrible experience at their Federal Way Store.I had just picked up my pawned item and as I was leaving I decided to look at a gold chain..the same clerk asked for my ID and then he asked for a major credit card which seemed odd as I had just picked up an item I had in pawn. while looking in my bag for my card another clerk approached me several times asking me if I need help..On my next visit I was scrutinized/followed as soon as I walked through the door.I came in to pawn an item and after I gave my ID and item to same clerk as above he told me I needed to take my shades off..although he had my ID and item in his possession..I wonder how many other patrons are treated that way..or could it be I was scrutinized because Im 6ft1 and African American???

Went to pickup an item from layaway and wanted to look at another jewelry item and they required two forms of ID to even look at an item. They did request this previously. Very insulting to the consumer. My first transaction here will definitely be my last. I will never be back

Rude and it was hot on a Sunday broke and out of gas had a dewalt 20 volt fan with battery and charger he ask me if I had a receipt for it I told him no I bought it off offer up and he said ya unfortunately without a receipt they couldnt take it (if I had a receipt I would have took it back to store and got all my cash back and bought it back at another time and not got a loan that I would have to pay reduculous interest on ) Ive dealt with them for many years never had a problem until now !! Cant believe the nerve of them how shameful to have a name like cash america !!

This is another huge corporate bank, Steer clear of these guys. There are several Pawn shops around that value their customers, getting to know repeat clients, yes they profit from what they do but only to a reasonable and responsible extent. NOT so at Cash America, everyone is a faceless number to them, your lucky if you get a genuine smile out of them let alone a fair price with straightforward dealings. They are a huge risk to trust putting anything you care about in their hands, and regardless if you dont have an attachment to the item, you will not get even close to a fair pawn price. They are there to feed off of other peoples hard times and without blinking seek to drain them by giving the least possible while charging beyond reasonable amounts in every aspect of the business. This is not a company anyone should be doing business with, they need to be starved to extinction.

Walked in a long line that moved very quickly with two rock stars instead of four people. Jessica was great multi tasking with everyone in the building gave me a good deal and good service. I would seriously come back here.

The Cash America Pawn on 33012 Pacific Hwy S, Federal Way, WA 98003, is terrible!!!Please think before bringing your designer handbags here. I had to learn the hard way now my designer handbag has lost its value because of a rude and jealous employee! She ripped the tag out of my handbag because she wanted it! The staff and the manager acted clueless and disrespectful when I told them about it! I wish I could sue them but it would be my words against theirs. If the employees take a liking to your things and especially if its a designer bag and keeps commenting how nice it is, am almost certain that they will do something to it so you cant pawn it there anymore or will try to buy it from you at a very low price! Now my designer handbag is ruined!! This cash America is trash!!!

Customer service is foreign to these people. First off if you PAWN something they try to make you change your password which causes difficulties when you get you property back and cant sign in. The reason they say is cause people gave them false passwords. Well you have to use the password to log in to change the password. Thus confirming the password is correct. Waste of time and it will go out of business soon! you can change things once its yours until then dont modify or change my property.

The store is very busy so its hard to get help. Especially if you want something in case... Youre basically screwed then. So why did i give them a 4 star review? I gave them 4 stars because i took my son in to buy a video game and of course the only game he is interested in is the most expensive 1 they got. So at the register i asked if the prices were firm and was toldb yes. So i told my son i couldnt pay that for a game and they cut the price down so i could afford it. Thank you Cash America

I was waiting in line (which didnt take to long... you will understand why) and everyone infront of me trying to pawn things got turned down, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! and then I get up there and they refused to take my 3ds because the serial number was rubbed off, of course this isnt completely their fault. They were also VERY rude! If you want to go to a pawn shop there is one about 5 and a half miles from this one called Pawn Depot, they took my 3ds and helped me out, they were very nice and if you need to pawn anything or buy anything AVOID this place and for your own sanity go to Pawn Depot.

I bought a tablet today and no charger came with it so after paying extra money for a recipet that allows me to return it I decided I was going to buy a Xbox game but they didnt have the disk for a game they had on the shelf so I picked another one. The guy who rang me up didnt check to see if the disk was scrathed or anything when I opened the case after buying there was a bunch of sticky carp all over it luckley I was able to clean it seeming how I didnt pay the extra money so I could exchange/return it. This location blows.

Place is a joke. Worst pawn shop Ive ever been to. Ive giving them chance and chance again to redeam themselves but they always fail.. took in an couple items that all together were worth well over 100$.. they offered me 15$.... When I said your kidding right... They said oh well thats cause u dont have alot of history here..... So your telling me because I dont pawn alot of things then because of that your gonna low-ball the hell out of me... So if a brand new customer comes in to pawn something your gonna offer them nickels and dimes because they havent pawned alot of stuff there?? Thats a great way to get new customers... So I left shaking my head once again.. drive down the street to Elite Pawn ( best pawn shop ever) and they offered me 45$ for the same exact thing I was just offered 15$ for at this place.... If that doesnt show how stingy and crooked this place is idk what else would.. do yourself a favor. Dont waste your time with these people.

Ive used Cash America Pawn before and ive had positive experiences at the Puyallup and Auburn locations but this Federal Way location was horrible. The manager was rude and didnt know what she was doing or how to evaluate my laptop. They have a policy where the device must have 50% battery life. I had approx. 54% left (knowing that is a requirement.) The manager decided she wanted to make some calls after i had already turned my laptop on (she wouldnt allow me to plug it in either). I had explained to her my situation as soon as i walked in the door. She ignored me and i had to repeat myself numerous times letting her know the password for the laptop. By the time she was off the phone my laptop had 49% battery life left.... So they would no longer take it on a loan. No apologies, nothing. Extremely rude. I will never visit this location again!

This is literally the worst pawn shop I have ever been too. I have bought several things there that did not work. Never, ever buy a cell phone from them. They do not even check to see if they are locked out. I bought a paint sprayer from them. It worked for about an hour then the pump started to leak through a crack on the inside. I get the feeling they tried to jerry rig it to sell it. I returned it on the 7th day and they made me take in store credit. They dont take anything for pawns. They are super rude to the point where I would give back attitude.If corporate is seeing this you guys really need to clean up this store. Ive been to others and they dont act like they do at this one.

This location is a joke. I’ve went to location in Tacoma several times and they are very flexible. I went to this location since I just moved to area and got turned away. I see why they have such bad reviews. I’ll just drive to Tacoma.

After waiting for 30 minutes in line to loan something, they treated me like I was dirt. The store wasnt to busy when I got there then it became packed as I waited. Two employees took off early from what I gathered. While wait in alot of them were jus standing around and not working or trying to help people out. I will be back to get my ps4, other then that I will NEVER go back
