Im bouncing between Lowes and Home Depot for my home projects. I could say Home Depot has easy return process, and 1 time there was a lot of employee on the ground but only a couple cashier open, and a long line of check out. When we complained about it, they open a new cashier for us and prioritize our check out. I could say they have an amazing service whats why I give 5 star. (My pup in the pic, waiting patiently for his dad to come out of the store)

Again no help To be found. I think a directory at the front door would be so helpful. Always feel lost at these bohemeth hardware stores. Seem to wander aimlessly

Lovely staff. A place you can find everything you need for your house. You’ll not find good network reception once you enter the building, make sure to note down aisle numbers(helps you save time)

Not necessarily a review for the entire HD store but rather for one employee I feel deserves a pat on the back. I frequent FW HD at least once a week in the afternoon/eve for supplies. I just want to say THANK YOU to RICH at self checkout. Hes the older gentleman, I think in his 70s or so. This guy has to be the friendliest guy I have encountered under that orange roof. Always says Hey! when he sees me walk in the door and asks how Im doing as I am checking out with my purchases.Thanks Rich! for being you!

People! This is unacceptable. This stor promessed me to deliver my items three times and three times was skipped me. This is not service. WHAT HAPPENED WITH HOME DEPOT. Home Depot managers please improve FEDERAL WAY stor delivery process. Remember LOWES is just next to you and you already lost costomer like me and I dont want to have any business with Federal Way stor.Thank you.

The fed way HD has gone down hill. Getting into the parking lot has always been bad but now it’s crowded and difficult to maneuver in the store too. With pallets of things stacked in almost every aisle. Some aisles you can’t even get a cart down. Hard to buy large home improvement materials if you can’t get a cart to them.My biggest frustration is the pricing. They have started putting a cheap price on shelf tag. But when you go to check out that is only the price If you apply for their credit card. And I’m not talking a small price difference. Chicken wire shelf tag $19.71. At check out $44.99 unless you want the “$19.71 deal” buy applying for a credit card. Lowe’s had less choice but at least I know what the price is.

Can get Milwaukee tools here but not at the other place. and I have found Home Depot doesnt feel the need to change their store around every other month

Generally a well maintained store with good inventory. My only markdown is that the staff can be very hit or miss. Some are very friendly and helpful. Other times, it can be impossible to find help or the person you get cant answer your question and isnt willing to find someone that does.

I would like to personally shout out KC for helping me. He must have spent an hour teaching me about drill bits and making sure I was getting exactly what I needed for the job I was doing. 10/10 would recommend 👍

I was extremely uncomfortable shopping at this store today. Despite the state mask mandate, only half the customers and employees were wearing masks, people without masks refused to maintain 6 of distance, and the store only encouraged mask use over their intercom. When I asked an employee about it, she said she would be fired if she said anything to customers about it so her hands were tied. Guess Ill shop at Lowes from now on instead.

This one is pretty good. They had the grill I wanted.But no little propane bottles for it.Could have done better stocking the shelves, being the fourth, but am content shopping here 99 out of one hundred.

They always have just what I want. If you look really hard you can find discounts. Some people dont know this but they sale discounted peices of wood.

Went into the store about 10:00 AM today, Monday. NO cash registers open with clerks. Three of the four self checkout stations were open with about 10 people waiting in line to check themselves out. I went across the street to Lowes and spent several hundred dollars and didnt wait for a clerk to help me. I would like to say this is not normal for this Home Depot but it is.

I went there to buy some shrubs and some annuals. Was very happy and surprised to see a well stocked and adequately staffed store. The Employees seem to be happy also, well done Store Managers. I must disclose, I worked for Home Depot for 5 or 6 years.

Today my Husband and I had a world-class experience at the Federal Way Home Depot. We had a very laborious request for Larry and Tony in the lumber department cutting pieces for our kitchen cabinet and remodel. Both of these gentlemen took the time to understand our vision for our project and worked with us to ensure we are making the most of our material. Larry was a true expert and was incredibly efficient in getting us in and out all with a smile on his face! Outstanding employees like Larry and Tony are the reason we will be Home Depot clients for life!

Would give 5 stars but they been out of the fertilizers I usually buy for a month and half now. Need to be better at ordering popular items and stocking them. Other than that its 1 of my go to places for home improvement and gardening.

The staff at home depot are always willing to answer any questions. I recently purchased Levolor shades and Jacob was such a tremendous help. He made recommendations, answered all of my questions.

Start with not the greatest area you can tell when they have a police video tower cam in the parking lot😳. Person at customer service ignored me another person came and sent me to the wrong aisle found somebody else to help with my pre-order pick up he offered to help me load, but seems like an inconvenience so I did it myself.. and thats the power of the Home Depot👏

Terrible! 3 hrs to get a shed and 3 pieces of plywood. They were rude! Was supposed to have the plywood waiting at a register while we had our shed loaded. Went to get the plywood. Nothing! Everyone was confused and had to keep looking at my reciept???. Finally, some older fat dude had the gull to say well go get a cart and get the plywood Um no! You were supposed to get it and have it waiting! I wont be back!!!

Home Depot is a great place for home and garden! Our location is across the street from the LOWES. They didnt have what I needed today but Home Depot did. One or the other usually has what we need. We recommend them both.

Every time I go into home Depot I get almost everything I need but theres always something they dont have I dont get why they dont even have concrete rakes and at least Lowes has marshalltown they have the worst knockoffs you can buy craft for concrete tools no thank you and the other brand that they had no thank you up your game

Home Depot at the Tacoma location has changed from taking care of the customer to surveying and stocking the customer. Must be store policy now as I overheard then witnessed employees and possibly security stereotyping then follow folks as they entered the building. It’s pretty easy to head to Lowe’s across the street where that are more than happy to assist.

Employees are easier to find than they are at any other HD I’ve been in. The ladies at checkout were nice and my one year old son approved. There’s my 1 star. The other night, my wife went in before closing looking for a specific part. She went up to the front asking for help and was sent to the aisle and an employee was radioed to help. She went and stood there for 15 minutes, no one showed up. She waved down an employee, Tony, who at least put in the effort to help. He said it wasn’t his department but he called over someone else to try helping. That other employee didn’t show. Tony then called over the manager and instead of, well, being a manager he leads with “you know we’re closed right?” Seriously? She was in 30 minutes prior to closing. She’s sent to an aisle, ditch, then instead of investigating the situation you show up past closing to remind her the store is closed?!I know folks are tired in rush to go home, but do your due diligence and wrap up the day appropriately, lock the entrance, and help your customers already in the store! Good customer service. It works.

Horrible place to buy anything Samsung they offer warranty but dont cover anything its a total RIP off dont buy here ever 0 stars if you ask me

I had the worst experience with one of the workers there( Trevor) he was so rude and impatient he was rolling his eyes at me and my husband when we were asking for help trying to find an item. I had to tell him to stop and ask him what was he thinking, I told him he had no reason to be mean to us. It sucks cause this was one of my favorite Home Depot stores in the area and he literally ruined it.

Seems, well staffed and decently taken care of. The employees are helpful, the plant selection is better than the Lowes across the street.

But the Tool Rental department here is joke, the employees here are extremely disrespectful and treat you like a burden, groan & roll their eyes even when you are standing in front of them or simply ignore you on multiple occasions. Out of the last ~20 times I called the Tool Rental Department, over the past few months, they yet to answer the phone one time. Avoid them at all costs.

Unbelievably rude employees. Took 21 minutes and 5 requests to get a single key cut. Employee shows up and belittles me saying he doesnt have time to cut a key for me he has other customers. I took it to the manager who was also rude, no wonder why employees act like that here.

The parking lot is horrible, The Lanes between the parking areas arent wide enough for parking in the parking slots. I often come here as a last resort because I cant find the things I need at Lowes but Im often coming away disappointed by the product that Im offered at home Depot as well.

The sales representative was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We enjoyed her great personality.

I have had a consistent experience with this location. Helpful personnel and online orders worked good in terms of availability online and physical stock that actually matched.

Purchased carpet from them, installation was a nightmare! Measured incorrectly 3 times. We were told we would receive compensation for the multiple days taken off work and for the inconvenience. None of our calls have been returned, no compensation. The installer who is an outside source was going to assist in compensation and they too have disappeared. We were left walking on padding for weeks, had to reschedule our holiday trip, they got blood on our walls and left it! The entire experience was awful and the way they handled it and ignored it and my no attempt to make things right leaves us never wanting to shop Home Depot again. Nor would I recommend them for their flooring or any other service.

Nothing particularly notable about this trip, not too busy (excluding the traffic).The store was well enough stocked but the plumbing department seems to have stuff shoved in any available bin.Staff was nice.

Its become my favorite place to shop as of late. I find myself suggesting we shop there more then not lately.

Well the garden center in the front is nice but then you walk back to where the lattice and other miscellaneous items are and card board was scattered so I had to be careful walking the isle. Pallets of product in the middle of the isle.. Akward to get around lol.. Arethey understaffed? It was in the mid afternoon...weird.

Based on my experiences here, customer service is not the best after dealing with different employees. Good stock of items. Would maybe recommend.

This Home Depot had awful customer service. We waited for someone to come help us for 20 minutes just to have them tell us everything that we were interested in buying was not in stock. We even asked about other items that might be similar to what we were looking for. Still to be told they just didnt have anything. I dont see how hard this was considering we were just looking for a nice Drill/Driver set.You could obviously tell this person just really didnt feel like helping us. Too bad for them. We went to Lowes across the street and spent our money there instead.

They have a TERRIBLE process for managing rentals, its extremely frustrating to be waiting over 30 minutes for rental equipment while also seeing other floor employees stand around on their phones or chatting with each other. Train more people on the rentals please!!Revised down from 2 stars to 1 star after waiting nearly 30 minutes and talking to 4 associates to get a simple ladder off a shelf. The guy who finally did help me was rude and incompetent as well. Seriously, worst customer service ever!!

I like stopping there, not always ideal, but the same problem is at pretty much all of the major hdw stores. Ive been working for an apt co for several years now. Her units are all relatively close and were built in the late 50s to early 60s. So there are quite a few areas that are in need of some tweaking. BUT, items we constantly need become unavailable. Just dropped from their inventory, but there are literally hundreds of other apt complexes in the same area many of which are the same general age. I happen to believe this is a HUGE SHAME ON YOU IDEA, because they can all be ordered at substantially higher cost as special orders. Now, if we were the only ones needing these things this all might be reasonable but that is just not the case. It is nothing more than corporate MONEY GRUBBING !!!! On a 1- 10 scale 5 - 6.

I came in 30 minutes to closing, I needed help finding some electrical material ( I am a 22 year old girl who knows nothing about that) I had a man help me, sadly I didn’t catch his name but he had a long beard and was SO friendly, helpful, and totally understanding that I had no idea what I was looking for. I showed him everything I needed on my phone and he helped me find all of the materials I needed. I really appreciated his help, otherwise I would have been completely lost. He also mentioned if anything I bought was wrong he worked the following night and would be happy to help me find the right things. I hope his management acknowledges this review because he was a 10/10 employee and did a great job.

I love shopping at this Home Depot but today I encountered a very rude customer service representative by the name of April. I have never felt so discriminated! On the other hand the manager Gabe was very respectful and helpful.

They have wood, nails, paint and all kinds of stuff you would expect in a home improvement store. What a concept! They should expand and build right next to Starbucks stores or malls. Oh wait, they already do. Never mind...

Home Depot was fine I found what I needed, but I dont see how a person or business will stay in business with the self checkout I watch a customer with a package walk right by their customer service people and never ran their package it was obviously in their hand but the employee was just on his phone texting . Thats no way you run a business.

Home depot is the best hardware store around. Only one thing ever that Ive gone looking for I couldnt find. Most of their people are smart and can give you intelligent answers to your questions and they know the layout of the store to help your find what your looking for
