My sons car had a wheel lug bolt issue that needed to be repaired quickly. I called Nathan and he said he could take a look at it. I had a protective cover on the underside of my car that had come loose. I pulled into Tire Kingdom to see if they could reinstall it. Within 15 minutes, I was back on the road. Stephen took quick, efficient care of the issue. Excellent service.

Several weeks ago, I got a flat and drove to Tire Kingdom. My mom and I were treated like royalty by staff member Ryan. We were serviced amicably and efficiently. It was fantastic and I would not have wanted to stay nowhere else

Brought my truck in because I had a slow leak in my front passenger tire. Expecting they could just plug it and Id be on my way. They put my truck up, brought the tire in and showed me the nail. He said it was too close to the wall and that they couldnt patch it. I would have to buy a new tire. Well, I told him to give me two then so it would be even (the tires have about 25k miles on them). Truck is finished and I drive home. Well, my truck sat for 3 days (were in a pandemic, no one is going anywhere), and when I did come back out to go somewhere, the same tire was flat; I thought maybe I just had bad luck and hit another nail or maybe the tire was defective. I took it back to Tire Kingdom and they said the tire was not one of the ones replaced - they had replaced both rear tires. Well, there was nothing wrong with the rear tires, I specifically came in to have the front passenger tire fixed. They refused to acknowledge they made a mistake and claimed they checked their notes and said I had requested the rear tires be replaced due to low tread. All of this was a lie. The receipt doesnt indicate which tires were replaced, so I have no recourse. They didnt show me their notes. Somehow, miraculously, the tire that was unpatchable on Monday was able to be patched on Thursday. Im so frustrated that I lost two perfectly good tires on the back and now have a patched tire on the front. Seems like a scam to me and Ive heard others with similar stories. Avoid this store if you can.

I had a great experience at this location. I had picked up multiple nails in rear tire while on vacation and was losing air rapidly. Despite being slammed with business at the time, the guys retrieved my spare, balanced and mounted it for me, including replacing a faulty valve stem (thanks a lot Ford!) so that I could be on my way with the family. They ordered new tire in, which they mounted and balanced the next day and promptly got back on my truck (and put spare back) in no time at all. Very professional and knowledgeable, safe, efficient and superb attention to detail. Thanks to Vinnie, Aaron and Alan! Job well done guys!

Best customer service tires all over!

I watched as one of the TechniciansWas about to scam me and put in reg 40w oil when I paid for synthetic oil. The manager went out to confirm what I had seen and told me he would have all of the oil drained out and replace the oil filter which 9 dont believe because no oil was ever put through the new filter as the car hadnt been cranked. I also got 4 new tires and a front end alignment. So far the tires are good and drives very nice IF!! The danged emergency lights keep coming on because of the Broken/faulty Tire Pressure Sensor!! This has happened twice right after they put on my new tires and the Technician at Hyundai said the technician who installed the tires may have broken them. Why? On purpose because he got busted? Makes no sense. My advice is go someqhere else even if it is a bit more expensive. Its worth it. Dont go to this place!

Nathan is an ace! He helped my husband and I decide which set of tires would be best for my lifestyle. We went with Michelin Premier AS. We travel to Tennessee, as well. Hes very knowledgeable and truly cares about his customers. Makes you feel confident bringing your vehicle to a shop that you can trust, hes not someone who will take advantage of anyone. Its a rare find. The only negative I can think of is the windows are in desperate need of some type of shade. It gets so bright that you cant see. You have to hold your hand up to block the sun. And, the door when you go in and out it slams so hard it rattles the windows. Other than that an awesome place to bring your vehicle. I didnt realize they do oil changes too! I will go out of my way to go to this location. Ive always bought my tires here and had them mounted and balanced here as well. I will continue to do so! Great crew and better managers. They do whatever they can to be helpful.

I have taken two different cars to Nathan at this tire kingdom in the last month explaining that I feel I have a wheel bearing issues. Both times I was told that my cars have transmission issues and they are unable to work on my vehicle. My cars are covered through star crest and the moment I told him that he said he hates working with them. I understand that some company’s might be harder to work with, but that was uncalled for. Especially when I take both of my cars to Aamco only to find out that both cars had wheel bearings that need to be replaced. If you do not want to work on someone’s vehicle, because of the process you go through to get paid, then just be honest about that from the beginning. Don’t have me drop my car off in Jax at Aamco for 2 days for running tests to find out that you are not doing your job and it could have been fixed at tire kingdom all along!

Stopped in on a Saturday. We were from out of town. I had a tire that needed replaced, they had me out of there in 10 minutes or less. Great service and fair price for the tire.

Friend dropped his car off 4 hours ago for 2 tires. They have not touched his vehicle, he dropped it during work hours so he would have it in time for the hour ride back to Jacksonville, and they hadnt done anything. They have no reason as to why his car isnt finished and why he has to sit and wait after working all day and making arrangements to have his car ready when he was off work. extremely unprofessional, they didnt even call to let him know anything was going on or that there would be a wait period. Based on the other reviews on here, I would not go to the store......ever. Communicate with your customers if youre not going to have something done correctly. Now hes waiting 6 hours for 2 tires and still has to drive an hour home to Jacksonville. EXTREMELY Poor customer service!!!!

Tire Kingdom in Fernandina Beach is a really good tire store! I don’t hesitate to recommending them. In my opinion, they are really efficient, caring and try to do the best for you to keep your vehicle safe.We were staying on Amelia Island and on our way to Hilton Head. We noticed a screw in the lower outer tray left tire on our SUV.Stopped at Tire Kingdom, after googling tire stores in the area and they diagnosed the problem, new tire. Yikes! We had a special Bridgestone tire that had to be ordered. Nathanial ordered the tire for us to be installed on our way back home. They installed the donut spare and we were on our way to next stop up the coast. The new tire was ready to be installed on our way back! The whole experience was seamless! Service tech was great too!

100 miles away from home today & limped in to Tire Kingdom in Fernandina Beach on a split front tire with the steel belt showing. Nathan checked me in, verified the problem & made sure that was my only bad tire. He checked their inventory & discovered they didnt have my size in stock. While I quietly freaked out on the inside, Nathan figured out a way to make it happen & acquired a tire for me. The shop was really busy, it being a Friday, but even with the stock issue my entire wait was only 1 1/2 hrs. And bonus - the price was $30 cheaper than the last one I bought at Walmart.Nathan is the most helpful & considerate person Ive ever encountered in an auto repair shop. I want to replace the rest of my tires & have some other things done. I will make the drive & have it done there strictly because of his customer service. My tire was flat this AM, refilled with my compressor, couldnt find anything in the tire, went to Tire Kingdom and they told me they were slightly busy and would be about 20. Gave me coffee! About 40 later they showed me the nail trim my tire and my tire was mounted and I was ready to go. And the price? Well, because I bought my tires there it was no cost!! Super guys!!

Extremely slow and disorganized - Went in for a tire repair and it took 4.5 hours to get a simple tire patched. Should’ve went to my regular place - Goodyear in Yulee. Big mistake coming here

Went in for oil change - ended up with new tires which I needed to get - but hate them - partially my fault- they were cheap and drive like rocks - which I had been told they’d drive hard..“Needed” power steering fluid?“Needed” new rear brakes - ok - probably do - but now have squishy brakes and brake pedal makes a noise when pressed - didn’t do that before - took it back in - still squishy and makes a noiseWhile the personnel there were very nice - feel as if I was taken...hence the 1 star....always get a second opinion...wish I had

Great service from Nathan and his team. Im from out of town and had tire pressure light come on. They checked everything in less than an hour and all I needed was air in one tire. No charge.

This Fernandina location has repeatedly sent me away due to “no time” for a simple oil change, and I am a good loyal customer! I give up after I made an “appointment” for the next day, and they had no one at the counter for 10 minutes. Someone in the office behind the counter goofing off and making weird noises with his tongue instead of working to help customers. Never Again!!

Staff was courtious and office was clean. I thought I was doing okay purchasing 2 tires and an alignment, that is until I got home and my husband saw the bill. My husband was furious that I was sold 80,000 mile tires for our 2014 minivan and an additional road hazard warranty (on top of the 80,000 mile warranty I was told the tires come with). My husband went to the shop to adjust the purchase order and then came back ranting that I signed for it, therefore I own it; they wouldnt do anything. Ladies, shop around first or let your husbands take care of it.

Great service, Steve the manager help me with a tire issue on one of my fleet vehicles and found out one of my idler arms was about to break on the front of my vehicle which would have cost me to lose control of my vehicle and cause me to have a accident because of the amount of driving I do. When you go into an automobile repair shop anymore your concern are they going to sell you more than what you need. Tire Kingdom good service knowledgeable about their product and always looking out for your safety of your family and others.

They were so kind and helpful today. After the Yulee branch said they could not even look at my tire issue, I went to Fernandina and was in and out in 30 minutes! I would recommend anyone to drive the extra few miles to go to that store.

I would highly recommend avoiding the Fernandina Beach location of Tire Kingdom. I do not personally have experience with other Tire Kingdom locations, but based on this experience I will avoid this company altogether in the future. I went here for a simple tire rotation and oil change for my Toyota Prius. Prior to this date I had a tire on front passengers side which was leaking air. I had personally been refilling the tire with air when the tire pressure was low. This information will become pertinent to my experience. After receiving my car back following the tire rotation and oil change I had paid for I began driving my car normally. The following day I received a low tire pressure warning on the dash. Upon personally checking the tire pressure I found that the tire with a leak in it was on the front passengers side. This indicated that my tires were not in fact rotated. A service I had paid for. I called them and explained the situation and they told me I could take it back in that day and get the tires rotated. I had to take time out of my day to go back to the Tire Kingdom in Fernandina. When I told the employee (the same employee from the day before and the man I spoke to on the phone an hour earlier) that my tires were not rotated he responded well what makes you think your tires werent rotated. I again explained that the tire which had a leak prior to paying for a tire rotation was in the same position. The employee told me that he had watched a security video of his fellow employees rotating my tires and that indeed they were all rotated. He attempted to dismiss my claim at that point. I was persistent because I had paid for a service that had not been provided. Following this the employee went into the back for 2 minutes and when he returned he reported that he re-watched the video and all of thee tires except that one had been rotated. He agreed to take the car back to rotate the tires. This experience alone was extremely off putting. I paid for a service that was not provided and when I approached the business about the situation I was met with resistance in an extremely unprofessional manner. I had to fight to receive a service I had already paid for that was not done. To me this is unacceptable. However my friends the story does not end there. A couple weeks later I noticed that my car was leaking oil. I checked the dip stick and was practically out of oil. I brought my car into a local shop (not the Tire Kingdom) to find out the cause of the oil leak. The culprit for the oil leak was the fact that the drain plug was left halfway out of the oil pan. This as a result of the poor quality work from the Tire Kingdom. They could not even bother to make sure the drain pug was in. Poor, Poor quality of work. I am extremely unimpressed with the Fernandina Beach Tire Kingdom. Unreliable, poor quality, and extremely unprofessional. I would highly suggest avoiding this place.

When i entered tire kingdom to purchase 4 new tires i had no issue with my tire service monitors. after the installation of my new tires i now have the service tire monitor light on constantly. the problem was created by tire kingdom and they have no intention of owning up to it. but they were kind enough to offer to fix the problem for $150. per wheel. take your car to pros. these guys are learning on the job. the great resolution for there damage is a coupon!?

Goodyear tightened one of my lug nuts so tight after a tyre change that I couldn’t get it off after a puncture. Took it to these guys and they removed it and fixed the puncture on the same day for free. Very grateful and will return.

Great customer service, convenient location for islanders

We were out of town and the company that changed our oil before we left town, totally screwed up and has ruined our vacation. They wouldn’t even return our calls. However, At least we came here and they took our car right in, even when they were slammed. We were so lucky for these people helping us right away. They were so professional and nice!! I wish places were we live were this polite and helpful. Ask for Stephen the manager we can’t thank him enough.

Theres a reason why the word tire is in their name. They do tires. Theyre part of this town and they work hard to make the locals happy. Thanks Steve and crew.

Tires were not balanced correctly, took it to another TK, they explained each tire had approximately 6 ounces of weight, The weights should be at most 3 ounces per tire. The tech at the Yulee location said the weight was just added to each tire, instead of properly correcting the weight. I took it back to the original location three times to get it corrected, never corrected.. My time, like most folks is precious. I spent $865.20 on tires.I had an appointment at 2:00 and my vehicle was not serviced to 4:00Secondly, I took my wifes 2007 Jeep to get serviced, I explained I thought it needed brakes, the manager told me the brakes were fine, I knew they were not. Within three weeks and less than 200 miles driven I took it the Yulee TK, the brakes showed hot spots on them and needed replaced asap. This could have cost me alot more, if I didnt obtain a second option. The Yulee TK was sure a different experience. Not to mention it was not safe.I am not looking for any future discounts, but action be taken with employees the Fernandina location should be investigated.I ask corporate contact me to discuss, I plan to fill a BBB complaint.
