Friendly helpful staff, and an abundance of items makes it helpful to not have to run into town for this or that. An extra special favorite place when it’s planting season. Lots of choice. And I love the pet section – pretty good size :-)

Always good service and reasonable prices excellent people

I’ve been coming here for as long as I’ve lived in Whatcom county and love it. Now I’m in there at least every two weeks for hay and they’re always so helpful, and make it right if something goes wrong. I always forget how much stuff they have and find myself wandering regularly. Highly recommend.

I stop in quite often just to browse around. Seven years ago they had their chicks, and turkeys in . All were so cute I decided to buy a couple turkeys. Well wasnt long before a eagle got one, which left me with only the one....in which I named Bert. Bert is now 8 years old in May 2018 and is my garden partner and a wonderful pet. After a horrific experience at Ace, this place was refreshingly pleasent.My roommate and I always have trouble finding Home Fire Presto Logs.These guys were stocked up, which was amazing.Plus, their service was wonderful, which made the experience even better!!

I love these guys and gals. We recently moved into the area, they carry the chicken feed and specialty dog food I need. They have quite a lot of plumbing supplies as well. Just a really nice place to shop. I especially love the local artesian stuff in the store.

Always one of my favorite plant stops.

Well, I will never step foot in this store again. Just walked out of there after feeling unwanted at the store. The cashier just starred at us when we first entered without a greeting. Felt like we were being watched and being profiled. Ive been into this store a hand full off times with my husband who is white and noticed they did the similar thing but just wanted to give them another chance and my local support. Not anymore, I feel ashamed and embarrassed for even thinking of taking my sister from out of state here. Never again will I support this business.

Best feed & seed in town!

My husband purchased a Traeger Smoker/Grill from them 2 weeks ago. We used it three times and we love it. Today he started it up and the temperature probe that regulates it went kaput. He drove down to them, explained what was happening (temp kept climibing) and they contacted the Rep. Long story short here we finally got a call around 2:00 p.m. telling him to take it back down to the store and they would fix it for him. Finally after much ado with Traeger Rep and frustrated employees and us it was fixed. I felt badly for Portal Way Farm and Garden as their hands were tied by Traeger when they just wanted to trade out the unit with a replacement. They bent over backward for us earning our continued business with this mom & pop local business. Thanks yall, we appreciate you!
