Had a 9am Appointment for 6/6/21 and part was supposed to have been ordered. The store did not open and no one called to confirm that they were not going to be open. Called corporate office and they said they would get back with me, but they didnt. Been here today 6/8/21 since 4pm and its 6:10pm and still waiting. But Roy has been very helpful and letting me know what is going on.

If I could give negative stars I would. I use to have good experiences with these guys. They took 10 days to fix my truck. I had to source my own parts. the manager Adam never communicated the whole time and still wont return my calls. I have had to file complaints with the state of indiana and the corporate offices for which they too are not calling me back. Horrible place. avoid at all costs! Do do darken their door!!!

Always price things accordingly and often offer deals and work with you. The gentlemen who worked the front counter today (1-28-21) is just the nicest and most helpful guy. Super professional team!

My wife was traveling with our kids and had a flat tire about 1.5hrs away from the store we normally deal with. This was the closet location to have the tire repaired and didnt think a minor issue would be so difficult to fix so I advised her to just have it fixed at this location instead of finishing her trip on the spare tire. My wife called after the repair was done because her vehicle had a horrible vibration and was worried they didnt tighten the wheel. I checked the balance at my shop when she got back and the tire was way out of balance as seen in the picture. They were nice enough to mount her spare tire back under the car but the tools required to do it were left loose and scratched up the rear trim on our tahoe. I highly recommend avoiding this location for any repairs.

I called to ask if they could replace my headlight bulbs, that I purchased else where. When I arrived, a nice young man Adam, greeted me. He remembered exactly why I was there. They swapped out my bulbs in about 15 minutes, and I was on my way. Adam, I hope you and the Boys enjoyed the pizza and soda. I cant thank you enough! Now I can safely get to work at night.

I went in to get my tire put on a new rim. When the work was finished, I went out to my car and checked out the work they did. Everything looked good except for the fact that the tire they replaced was missing the center cap and the old damaged rim was not in my car. I walked back in and told them they could keep the damaged rim, but please return the cap. Mike had the audacity to argue with me that my tire did not have a cap when I brought it in, even though I know for a fact it did. I even have picture proof of my wheel with the cap. You can see the cap on the wheel in this picture! Terribly unprofessional customer service, I do not recommend this business.

I will never take my car here again. I had a appointment at 10am while dropping my car off i was told my car would not be ready till 3 pm because they had 5 am appointment which does not even exist. and 4 9am appts. I order a tune up and oil change none of my fluids were checked. I need windshield wiper fluid there is none in my care its the simples things. this made me believe the jo was done incorrectly and now i have to go spend more money elsewhere to have my car fluids checked. When i called i was told fluid checks arent included in tuneups IVE NEVER HEARED OF SUCH THING

Professionalism and grace. They not only repaired my flat tire twice, at a discount, but they installed a new tire for me at no cost to me. I didnt even buy the damaged tire from them, but they gave and installed a new tire. As a single woman with no family nearby to help me, they showed me grace. I recommend Pep Boys Fishers to everyone. I am so grateful and thankful for their generosity and grace.

I would leave 0 starts if it were possible. My appointment was at 12pm. It was a simple 1 tire replacement. I said I would wait. Walked outside for a bit, it was 1:30 and my car was still sitting outside untouched. It’s 2PM right now and I’m still sitting at the waiting area. What’s the purpose of an appointment when my car can’t even be checked/Worked on at the set time? This job takes 15 min. 30 is acceptable. But making me wait 2+ hours for 1 tire. Safe to say I won’t be coming back. I’d rather buy the tire and have it replaced at a cheap shop on 38th St. like I used to.UPDATE: Car was ready at 2:30.

I always buy windshield wipers here as they will install them for you. The new Rain-X silicone wipers are amazing. Very quiet wipe and very clear window.Once Pep Boys accidentally broke my cars back window wiper arm while replacing the wiper. They made it right and handled the trouble very professionally. Ill certainly continue buying wipers at Pep Boys.Seeing is a fairly important part of driving, so thank you for keeping my view clear!

Arrived with a dead battery. Literally had the vehicle dead in their parking lot 45 minutes before close. Stood in line for 15 minutes while 1 service guy was doing most of the work while men who appeared to be sales staff stood around. When I asked if their shop could help me with my battery was told they were practically closed for the night. I appreciate they gave me a jump but would have gotten 5 stars if their shop would have just spent 15 minutes to give me a new battery

Officially my go to place! Came in 7 minutes after they opened with a tire that was making a very weird noise. They not only knew what the problem was, were able to fix it extremely fast, but also didnt charge me anything for it being such a quick and simple fix. Amazing Service!! Most definitely will be using them from now on!

Walked in around 7pm on a Tuesday without an appointment for a battery installation (battery purchased elsewhere). Jonas helped me and was great! My car was ready in about 25 minutes, despite 3-4 people already waiting for their service to be completed. Jonas called right away and made this process seamless. They even placed my old battery in a box before putting it in my backseat.. other places have not done this. Thanks!

DANGEROUS! They stripped the lugs on all 4 wheels. Lugs are falling off the car while driving. When my wife called to address the issue the MANAGER was terribly disrespectful to her. Not only is this an unacceptable safety issue, customer service is awful!

Took my car there since I accidentally pulled my tire valve stem. Had to get my car towed since I didnt have tools to change the tire and because of the shut down from covid, the Walmart auto care was closed. Thats where I had bought my tires and have road hazard. Pep boys tried to take advantage of that and said I have to replace the tire altogether and another one. I asked them to just change to the spare. I took the tires to Walmart and they repaired then. There was a nail in one of them (without any side wall damage like I was told by pep boys) and the valve stem was replaced in the other.Never going there again and dont recommend these guys at all.

My appointment that I made with for 2 p.m. at pep boys for a routine oil change pm. At 3pm they hadnt even pulled it into the bay and I asked him how much longer it would be. He said I would be next but they were down to one person. I had an appointment and could not wait so I wasted my hour for nothing. I left without getting my oil changed and they never apologized when they hand in my keys back.

I was visiting Indiana last weekend and had my tire light go on while I was down here. I was worried that I had run over a nail in a construction zone on I-65, or that whoever slashed tires in my parking garage back in Chicago had slashed one of mine and I didnt catch it. I called two hours before the shop closes on Saturdays and the guy I talked to said that they couldnt even take a look at it that night. I asked if they were open on Sunday and he said yes at 9. I asked him to put me down for a tire check and he said he would see me then. I assumed I had an appointment. I arrived there the next morning and told him who I was and what I was there for and he said it would be a three hour wait. What is the point of an appointment if you cant look at my car at the scheduled time. The guy at the service center was a little rude and gave some attitude when I told him that and then I proceeded to ask if someone could just take a quick look at the tires to see if they even looked low. He responded very rudely and abruptly NO. I said it takes 5 minutes. You cant spare someone for 5 minutes. Again he said no. I will never waste my time there again, and Im a rewards member with Pep Boys.

Outstanding service just as I had recalled of years past and hear from friends and family!I needed 2 new replacement windshield wipers, purchased the Rainx brand then asked if they still help to put them on as I couldnt remove the old ones. A gentleman there said no problem and was already out in the parking lot attempting to take off the old ones to put on the new before I had even finished paying.When I got outside, he was struggling as I was with getting the old ones off my 2016 RAM 1500 while almost freezing in sub-zero temperatures. He finally asked that I drive into their garage, opened the door for me to pull in then he Immediately went back to work trying to get the old off. Finally successful with passenger side removal, new one installed he then struggled even harder with the drivers side.After several minutes he had success and I had my much needed new Rainx wipers and became an immediate new Pep Boys loyal customer. Now, they didnt charge a nickel for his hard work of which Id probably have had to take to a dealership and pay a small fortune for. Not at Pep Boys which is what has earned them the great reputation from so many other loyal customers. Ive dealt with them for years, but havent visited in many years past due to my employment at auto dealerships where I usually had my service done while at work. Since leaving dealership employment, I decided to watch my expenses and am very pleased that I found myself back at a long trusted business friend, being the better word.Thanks again to the nice gentlemen at Pep Boys!

My experience with this location is less than poor, the technicians usually always seemed put out, or they make you feel that you are an inconvenience to them, simply asking them to do their job. I overheard conversation with another customer and kind of the same spill. You dont have to make up excuses when you clearly uncertain on the Why!Will not be back

Made an appointment for an oil change at 11.00 a.m. had the same experience as many others have described here. The guy seems to be amused to tell me that no way my car will be taken in for service before 2 p.m. I asked then why the system let us place appointments? He was explaining, he understands but it can not be done. I feel the guy who works at the service counter dose not like to work at PepBoys, and trying to get the customers away from the place. I used get much better help from a very nice lady who would go beyond boundaries to to help when ever I have visited the place. Something is not right. Anyways I left the place to get my work done at some other place. The guy was not nice.

Made an appointment for 11am 5 days before. I told them I would not have a ride and would need to wait to get my A/C recharged. I was told no problem. Arrived today 20 minutes early and was told at best they would not even pull it into the shop until later in the afternoon. I told them I was told it wouldnt take long and I would be able to wait. Guy told me no chance and I should not have been told that. I could either set there for hours or drop it off. I took the third option and left. I was very surprised that two days later I received a call from the store apologizing and offering to waive the evaluation fee. I already had it fixed by then, but that was a great move on their part.

One of, if not the worst customer service/auto care experiences Ive ever had. Went in for new brakes on my car. I spent almost eight hours waiting because they tried putting on the wrong parts twice. After three days of waiting without a car, they finally got in the right parts they shouldve told me they didnt have to begin with. After the hours upon hours I spent waiting in the store, then days I was without a vehicle, they barely offered anything off my purchase for the inconvenience. It should have been free at that point, but I could only talk them down a little bit more. Will never use a Pep Boys anywhere ever again.

We made an online appointment around 9am for a 6pm appointment later that day. We got there 10 minutes early and stood around for about 5 minutes before someone helped us. My fiances brake warning light came on and thats all we needed checked to see what the problem was. We explained that we would need the car back tonight regardless (they close at 9pm) and the lady said they would take a look at it soon and let us know what the issue was. We waited until 830pm after no one calling us and drove back to the store. They hadnt even pulled the car into the shop and seemed like they had forgotten. They said they would take a look at it right now.. 30 minutes before closing. I asked what the point of being able to make an appointment if our car wasnt evening going to be looked at. The guy said we shouldnt use online appointments because they have no control over it. We said nevermind and took our keys. We will NOT be going back there ever... poor service especially just to check a warning light! Dont waste your time

Made an appointment to have my oil changed. Did not Prepay online because I wanted to use a coupon and there was no way of doing that online. Arrived before my appointment time at 1pm and was told that there was no one there to do the oil change until after 4pm?!?!?! WHY MAKE IT SO WE CAN MAKE APPOINTMENTS?!?! Thank goodness I did not prepay because I would have been stuck there for over 3 hours waiting to just see if anyone could change my oil. Do not go to this location. Paid for everything online as well as scheduling an appointment 3 DAYS in advance only to receive a phone call the day of the appointment to be told no technician would be in at the time I scheduled my appointment. Was rescheduled to come in 2 days later. After getting off the phone I called customer services and cancelled my order. Easily the most helpful part of the whole situation.

These folks are always very courteous and helpful.Yesterday I was buying a headlight bulb for my wifes 06 Taurus. I had a question about the best way to get in on there. A couple of the associates came out and took a look at the car. One went in, grabbed a couple of tools and installed it on the spot.I actually like doing that kind of stuff but I was pressed for time yesterday. I got a call that day saying they couldn’t honor my appointment because they were too busy and it wouldn’t work for them. Absolutely worst experience Ive ever had. I came in to find out what was wrong with my tire or if it needed replaced. Told them specifically which tire it was. They call me tell me my tire is not fixable and that I need a new tire. Okay, so they replace the tire and 2 days later I get off work, my tire is flat. I then look at my tire and realize they changed the wrong tire. I go back and talk to Alicia, she is very helpful. She apologizes and they look at the tire and say there is nothing wrong with the tire. They so some repair on the stem and ahe tells me if this doesnt solve the problem to come back. 2 days later, i get ready to go to work and tire is flat again. Go back in again, Alicia is leaving, she is already clocked out, but tells them to take care of me. Go to the counter and am talking to Robert and trying to explain the situation, Jonas comes in and is saying I told them the wrong tire and that it is all over the paper work, which it is not, and starts yelling at me saying Im a liar. Tell him I am not talking to him, he goes into the garage and he and the mechanic that put the tire om are talking about it. Im still trying to explain to Robert and tell him that Alicia said they would replace the tire since they had replaced the tire. He said then she can do that herself and stated he wouldnt help me. . At this point, Im not coming back. I wasnt trying to get anything for free, just get my tire fixed or replaced. I have never neen treated in such a manner and would never refer anyone to Pep Boys. Worst service and customer service ever. If i could score them a 0, I would. They do not deserve 1 star.

This place does not deserve a star. I scheduled appointment the day before, I get there 20 minutes early and they tell me I’m not on their list. I go in for a oil change plus a transmission fluid exchange. The manager says I don’t do transmission flushes on Sundays. Well then you should’ve put that on your website! And don’t tell me there’s a 30 minute wait after I scheduled my appointment the night before! Plus, in order to be a manager, you treat your customers with respect. He was flat out rude! I will never set foot in that place again. And if you are smart, like I think you are by reading this review, you will do the same. Trust me.

After they had me pay for my rim after they didn’t fix it I was back a couple days later because the guy at another pep boys said there was no work done and I needed to go back to same store. Got to store and he gave me my money bk and told me buy a rim and he will put my tire on free. Next day I come with rim at 11:00 am and was told it would be a quick change but by 1:00 pm I had grown impatient and was picked up. I called and was told it would be ready at 3. I got there at 3 and didn’t still get my car til 3 hours later at 6. I wish I could’ve gave them 0 stars.

Scheduled an oil change today and was treated very well. I had a tire with a slow leak and it was repaired without any issues, they also verified a few times to make sure they had the right tire. I was even brought back into the service station and was shown where the leak was coming from. I also needed my coolant thermostat replaced and I was told the price, told them I couldn’t afford that right now and that was that. I wasn’t pushed into getting it done.

Recently, my son purchased 4 tires for his Nizzan 350Z which was to include a $50 rebate. The rebate was declined because the Mfr said 4 tires of the same size were not purchased. The Z requires 2 different sizes (for front and back) and tires were purchased as per Nissan specs. We were not told that the rebate would not qualify and when we subsequently inquired with the store they said it was an issue with the tire company. Poor customer service like this will have me seriously considering taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Spoke to Jeff on the phone, he physically made sure what I needed was in stock and the item was waiting at the counter when I walked in the store. So far good selection of parts and mostly helpful staff, I did an oil change on my vehicle and went to get supplies when I told them I needed a crush ring for the oil plug they said if theyre site doesnt list it then it doesnt need one. I now have oil spots on my driveway and garage floor because I had to reuse the one I had.

My company had a deal with Pep boys to take care of our fleet. We started it 6 months ago, and in 6 months all 20 of us employees have decided that we will never go to a Pep boys again. ALL BECAUSE OF THIS ONE STORE. Bad customer service, and lazy mechanics. What else can I say! Go to the firestone on 116th and i69. Don’t give these people any more business!

Scheduled an oil change online for 12pm. We show up and the guy managing the counter says that his guy is out to lunch and wont be back until after 1pm. We tell him about our scheduled appointment and he shrugs it off saying, the website doesnt know what is going on in the shop. He doesnt offer an apology. He then tells us that someone else has an appointment for 1pm so his guy couldnt get to it until after 2pm. Terrible experience. I dont think they realize there are about 10 competitors within a 5 mile radius. I recommend choosing one of them instead. We went to Jiffy Lube on 82nd street and got great customer service.

I went in this store tonight needing help. My window went down and would not go up. I was out of town with children. The first guy I asked for help was sincere and seemed to want help but he sent me to the service department. That men at service departmart seemed to be absolutely annoyed that i was asking for help and said he couldnt help me for a couple of days....I said are you serious I just need help getting my window up. The service men just looked and me and said no we cant help you. Then the woman behind me asked for help and i watched the two of them walk out and help her. I then pulled around the store and saw them putting the parts on her car. So they couldnt help me but both of them went out to help her. I would have bought anything to get my window up for the night. I have never in my life been treated so poorly.

Overpriced! Almost 300 bucks for just a battery service and repair (fiat, mind you). Tried to charge me 90 bucks for engine diagnostics, when it was just a battery check and replacement. Didnt change my oil as requested because they dont even pay any attention to their online appt tool and told me to never use again because, they dont like it? When I walked up to to the counter ahead of my boyfriend they asked him if what he needed and completely ignored me. The whole process was an argument and the manager enjoyed standing 8 registers away, lying, and making you wish you were having a root canal.

I went on line to shop for tires. Found a set of 4 that was priced around $500 including installation (4th tire was free.) Went into the store and was quoted a price $100 higher. I showed him the online quote -- and he stated it was store policy to require the road hazard warranty be purchased to get the 4th tire free. I told him the online order did not require that -- and he stated they do not honor the online price. When I contacted Pep Boys on line tech support - they informed that some stores do not honor the online price. I will never shop at a store with this type of policy. I went to fix a whining noise from power steering pump. Leak from rack was identified and replaced. The whining sound was initially there after the rack replacement but now its gone 95% after a few miles of ride. To make it fix 100% they said PS pump needs to be replaced. I denied that as am fine with this now. Happy with the service.

I scheduled an appointment to change my oil at this Pep Boys location the morning before a long road trip. The appointment was set for right when they opened up, so when I got in and the man behind the counter was busy doing paperwork.I was getting antsy after ten minutes of him continuing with his papers and not acknowledging me, when a young woman and her mother walked in and he immediately asked how he could help them. After he finished with them he continued to not even look at me until a new person walked in looking to set an appointment, and I had to forcefully step in front of him and say that I already had an appointment. Once my appointment was processed, I asked if my car would be ready in thirty minutes like the website said. He laughed at me and said it would closer to an hour.Three hours later, my car gets finished up, and he hands me my keys, and then I was cut loose without being told where my car was. This was the worst oil change experience in my life, and it made me get on the road much later than anticipated. I will not be using Pep Boys in general from now on, and I will recommend my friends avoid it at all costs. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because they did (eventually) change my oil, and the people in the garage seemed to be better at their job than the person behind the counter was.

Never had such bad service in my life. Was with my friend to get his oil change in his ford expedition and we had a 3pm appointment and dropped it off a half hour early it took 2 hours for a simple oil change and on top of it they were rude and sarcastic when i asked why it took so long. I wont be going back for anything

For diy people this is a great store. The staff working the parts section of the floor are knowledgeable and clearly have encountered many of the problems that I have and give good advice. Although some of their prices are a little high (10% ish I find) I check prices online while I shop to compare with amazon etc. The service department however is a whole different thing. I have had some problems similar to what others have said regarding oil changes etc. In short just avoid letting them touch your car. It takes forever and will be very expensive in the end. Still three stars though because I have had great experiences with buying parts and getting advice here.

I needed a tire I bought previously to be mounted on the rim and be put back on and balanced on the car. I dropped the car off on a Sunday around 1. The female at the desk said she would have the job done by 6 PM that day and she would call. 6 roles around and I have not received a call to let me know if it is done or not. I try to call and of course 6 is when they close on a Sunday so no one picks up. The next morning I come to get needed items out of my car for the day. The attitude I recieved from the employees was irritation and annoyance towards me after asking about my car and for the keys. I then checked to see if they had my phone number correctly written down. The employee could not find the paper work or my information in the system from the previous day which only tells me that it was not entered in or saved! On to day 2 and waiting for a 15-30 minute job to be done.I understand that it is a busy time but this is unacceptable treatment and operation from my view point. Put a business at max capacity and you will be able to tell how well they operate and who they are. Pepboys in Fishers doesnt stand out as one that can stand the pressure and treat their customers well at the same time.**Update: 3 hours later I call to make sure they know the tire is in the trunk and made sure they were aware of which tire needed to be replaced. They told me it would be done this afternoon. This is now going on 24 hours my car has been at this location. Owner, get your management under control or you may not have a business at that location for long.**Update # 2: I call to check the progress of my car. The associate who answered said that it was in the shop now. I said oh great, when will it be done? To which he responded when its done. Ill give you a call. I said Id really like to know a time. Then he hung up on me. I had to call back and ask him to go to the shop, ask how long it would take, and report back to me. How is corporate or who ever runs this place not all over this?!

Worst experience in auto repair and oil change. Said nothing was wrong with my car even though I had repeatedly told them it kept overheating. On the way home it, guess what, overheated. They didnt even check my car. Annoying that also even though I had made an appointment online the people who called in after me got to go first. Ended up finishing 3 hours after they said it would.

I had an appointment for special order tires to be mounted. Was told it would take about an hour. I waited. An hour later the tires had not even been taken to the service bay. When I enquired I was told that they would be done before closing ... in an hour and a half! My #1 pet peeve is other people taking the liberty of wasting/stealing my time.

I made an online order on the evening of 7/10 for 4 tires and received a confirmation email that same evening letting me know that they were ready for pickup. The email stated that I needed to be there within 24 hours of the order so I went the following morning to pick them up.I was told upon arrival that only 3 of my 4 tires were there and I would need to come back later. I was also told that I was overdue for picking them up and should have come by 7pm the previous night. (which would have been within 50 minutes of my order having been placed.) They were a little rude and abrupt with me and basically acted as if this whole situation was my fault. I came back in later that day and was able to get my 4th tire but they had no idea how much my online receipt said and I had to spend more time explaining which of their online deals had applied to me. I never got any apology. It was totally ridiculous.

This is the GOOFIEST establishment to ever be built and all of the stoned hipsters working there need to be FIRED! I LITERALLY called and made an appointment yesterday for a transmission filter change with some goober, and once I showed up this morning 10 minutes EARLY the silly manager comes up and cuts me off telling me they cant do it today. I told him I had an appointment, and he says oh well! Nobody here can even do the job. WASTE OF TIME and honestly if you do real research on Pep Boys they were on the news for actually doing MORE damage to peoples cars to get them to come back for additional services. Throw this entire company in the TRASH! theres a reason they have more ONE STAR reviews than FIVE STAR. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, Id rather let a 5 year old with a monkey wrench do it! Just STUPID!

Terrible customer service! Called to ask if they could work on our diesel truck before it was towed to them. They told us yes (they were the closes shop). After we dropped it and left we got a call an hour later saying they now COULDNT do the work. They didnt have the proper equipment. Finally after 4 hours we were able to get our truck to a GMC dealer. BUT it was too late in the day for them work on it. So now we have to wait another day because Dustin the service guy didnt know what his shop can and cant do. Not only did they not help us get a tow we had to bring a receipt back to them to get reimbursed.DO NOT GO TO PEP BOYS!!!

Terrible recent experience. Had a recent blowout, and needed 4 new tires for my car. Made an appointment for 7pm that day. That afternoon, I arrived at 645pm. From 645pm to 7pm I just stood at the service counter waiting to be helped. Many service advisors walked by, but none offered to assist me. Finally, at around 7pm I got someone to stop and take my keys. They stated that it should take no more than an hour. After 45 minutes of waiting, I got worried because I didnt hear my car pull in (my car has a very distinct read:loud exhaust) I went outside and lo-and-behold the car was still parked where I had left it. Wondering back inside assured my suspicion that it hadnt been touched yet, as the keys were still on the counter where the service advisor had left them. After waiting another 30 minutes (so it is 815pm now) I asked the service advisor for my keys. He then told me that he had a mechanic there that could do my tires and that my tires were in stock. I would certainly hope that they were in stock, seeing as how I had set up an appointment roughly 12 hours earlier. Refused to give me my keys for 5 minutes while he constantly told me it was the next car in line. At that point I just got mad, reached over and took my keys. Kind of defeats the purpose of setting up a 7pm appointment if no one is going to touch the car until 830 doesnt it?This shop used to be fast and had a quick and courteous staff, but after that experience, I doubt Ill ever take my car back there.

Went to have hitch put on car and I must say I have never been treated with disrespect like I was from the assistant manager I am told well they cant put my hitch on .but when I ask the assistant manager why and what I can do or where I could go he just walked away and was very rude .mind you when I went back in the store I had my best friend on the phone so he would know why they couldnt do that and the assistant manager said I told you why your after market mufflers are to big and said so it the muffler nit the pipes and he walked off and answered the phone .at this point Im very upset cause it was very rude to just walk away from me while we was talking .so I walk outside and my best friend gets the number and calls and talks to the assistant manager. and first thing manager says I dont know what she told you but its a lie really my best friend says I know she isnt lieing cause I was on phone the whole time listening to you talk to her and you should of just dismissed her like she is noone when all she wanted was answers. the assistant manager at this pepboys should not be a manager because he knows nothing about treating people with respect .he is very rude and disrespectful .and I get they cabt put my hitch on but the assistant manager could of tried to help me come up with another way to get it put on and for him to tell my best friend I was a liar when I had my best friend on the phone the whole time now you got a manager calling costumers liers

This shop is awesome! AWESOME! I shop there all the time and the staff are very helpful finding stuff and making good recommendations on parts. This shout out if for service. I was doing a brake job and had a frozen screw I could not extract (broke several tools trying) drove it to PBs Fishers, they torched it, extracted it, put in my new screw and I drove it home to finish the job on a saturday with a bay full of cars IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.Thanks again is all i can say. This is a great shop.

I went in on a busy Sunday needing some tires and an alignment. Joe got us worked in, (we left the car at 2:00), got got the work done before closing time (6:00), and got us on the road. The tech (Nick) pointed out a wiper problem during his inspection, and they fixed that as well. Very satisfied, and will return.

Went to this location this evening. I got a flat tire at Walmart across the street. I had my daughter with me and didn’t have anyone to change my tire at the time. Walmart refuses to service me due to being so busy so I came to Pep Boys around 7:40pm. The store closes at 8:00pm. I walked in with my daughter asking for some help. I needed a tire change. The entire store was empty outside of the employees (all men). They refused to service me. A woman and a child with a flat tire. I am so disappointment in how a store full of men had no care to help me. They proceeded to close the store leaving me on the parking lot waiting for help. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Poor poor service and lack of care.

On February 7th, 2019, my husband brought in our car (2001 Volvo V70) to this location to have the oil changed. We thought all had gone well after the oil change was done, as the car was running just like it was before. On February 18th, 2019, my husband was driving to come get me from work when the car started randomly shutting down and was sounding like a rod had been bent due to knocking noises while driving. He was able to limp the car to this location after their mechanic had already gone home for the night. On February 19th, 2019, we were contacted and informed that the motor had seized up and would need to be fully replaced due to the amount of damage done to the motor. When we asked them what happened to cause this to suddenly happen like it did, we were told over the phone that the person who had done the oil change had just dumped new oil in and did not do a proper oil change on the car, causing the eventual seize of the motor. When my husband pointed out to them that they were the ones to do the oil change only 12 days earlier, their tone changed and they said that they would try to do a head change to see if that would fix the issue. The afternoon of the 19th, we were told the head change would not work and they were going to try to find a new (to us) motor to replace the seized motor. My husband was told to call back the following afternoon around 3pm for updates. On February 20th, 2019, my husband called again and was told that the person looking for the part couldnt make it to work, so no progress had been made. On February 21st, 2019, they had informed us that they had found a motor but it was the wrong type (ours doesnt have Turbo, the motor they found did have Turbo), so it couldnt be put in our car. Finally, on February 22nd, 2019, we received the final call that let us know that the new motor would be $2000 with an additional $2000 in labor costs. When we pointed out that they had admitted fault, they got defensive and said that there was no proof that the oil change had caused the motor to seize up, despite admitting that previously. Their only accommodation they would make would be knocking off $1000 off of the labor costs. We ended up having the car towed home, at our expense, and do not recommend this location to anyone at any cost. Our car was running fine prior to the oil change, and now we will probably not be able to salvage the car.
