First time on the Pumpkin Express and very impressed. 100% you need to take the family and make this a tradition.

Our kids loved the Pumpkintown Express! What a great way to celebrate fall. While I typically dont like having to pay more after buying the tickets (it was $4 for the Pumpkin Decorating), the fact that the money all went to charity made it totally okay! Its clear a ton of thought and work has gone into this event and our kids loved it. The opportunity to grab a beer while the kids enjoyed their time was also appreciated. Well be back as long as our kids want to go back!

The refurb looks great. Big selection, new bistro is a nice touch. Employees were helpful and knowledgeable.

This was a very pleasant surprise. We havent been in a few years. We are so glad we went this time. We were helped by an employee named Pat. She was the best. We will surely be back.

I love this nursery. Went to it before it was bought another local company loved it then, too. Great selection of indoor plants and the outdoor section is even more plentiful.

I visited Allisonville with my dogs and it was hands down the best nursery/plant store experience I have ever had. Everyone was so welcoming and kind and my dogs gots lots of love and attention. Jessica was great with helping me find what I was looking for. It was well worth the drive to the north side of Indy. I will absolutely be back in the future!

The reason for my 5 stars is Bonnie. She is very knowledgeable, very helpful and kind..She helped me last week to buy around 40 outdoor plants. I am hoping those plants will flourish. I will update my review hopefully with pictures when they grow.Thank you very much!

What a fun day for the grandkids with a trip on the Pumpkin Express to Pumpkinville! What imagination was put into the entire event! The travel through the different rooms of fun and spooky displays, talking animals, and lots and lots of pumpkins. They loved painting their own little pumpkins and the trick or treating in Pumpkinville. At $50 a train car for 4 adults and two small kids, it was a tremendous bargain! Everyone should go. Cant wait for the Christmas Train!

Incredible selection of outdoor plants, flowers, and gifts/decor. I was there for the houseplants though, and they were amazing! There was quite a selection of good-sized trendy and harder-to-find houseplants. Prices were a little bit higher than the “big box” stores, but totally justifiable in terms quality and selection.

Our first visit here and we were delighted by everything we saw!There is SO MUCH available here both in plant life itself as well as materials and decorations. It was fun to walk through from start to finish!Everything was organized and easy to access. Cant wait to go back for more!Special shout-out to Morgan outdoors for being so helpful for our newbie plant questions. There was also a helpful staff member in Indoor Plants that gave us great advice but I didnt get their name!

Tons of different plant options and great selection of gardening supplies and containers, etc. Have always found Sullivans to be a bit more expense but you get what you pay for a d I typically buy at least half of my plants and supplies from them. Excellent service and its nice to be able to support local business and not shop in a big box store. Highly recommend!

Great selection of annuals, perrineals, trees and shrubs. They have an excellent indoor area with decorations for the home. Some things are pricey, but you get quality for a little more.

Great selection of plants. I was picking up six Arborvitae trees. They were positioned near the entrance, a forklift placed them on my trailer, and I was gone in less than ten minutes. Thanks to Joe Sullivan, Scott and their crew for delivering Excellence in Customer Service!

I really enjoy this shop. They are a little pricier but that more than makes up for the special events they have been hosting. The events they hold are usually outside in their terrace area, which is nice for social distancing.My plants have always been big and beautiful and the employees are always willing to assist.

Disappointing. We called ahead of time about a specific plant, drove 45 minutes and received poor customer service and care. We were shown one variety, which was really sad. None of the plants looked healthy. We approached an employee for assistance, who radioed Jack about other locations in the store to find the plants and we were literally left to go looking outside in the pouring rain by ourselves, as the employee stated that she wasnt ready to go outside yet. After walking around helplessly and becoming soaking wet, we decided that we had had enough and it was time to go. No one else bothered to help us. We drove another 15 minutes to the beautiful Wasson Nursery. From the moment we walked in the door, we were offered assistance by kind and knowledgeable staff. The plants were in beautiful condition and we found a variety of plants to choose from. Suffice it to say, we will definitely be returning to do business with them from now on.

This the place is great for everyone who loves gardening. They have an amazing variety of plants, tools, and decor. The staff is friendly, helpful, and sweet!I have become a member with them on my first visit itself!

This place is beautiful! The plant selection is abundant and plants overall look great. The only down fall is not one employee cared to help a single person during my visit (+ 1 hour). They were friendly if someone approached them but they were focused on talking amongst themselves. Customer service could be improved but other than that, this place is great.

Havent been to any good nurseries since I have moved back to Indiana. I live in a less than desirable city so finding a good nursery with houseplants is few & far. I decided to give this one a chance & Ill be a customer as long as Im in Indiana. The selection was great. Plants looked healthy & the staff was incredibly sweet & helpful. I wish there were more variegation of some plants but I cant complain. I left a happy customer with new plants!

I went today and was waited on by Nick in the nursery area! He was very helpful and friendly! However, the checkout process is terrible! It always has been. Not clear where to stand to get waited on. Customer service missing entirely. No eye contact, did you find everything, no hello! It was the same before Sullivan’s bought it was hoping there would be a change!

Lots to look at, lots of gifts, flowers and plants. They seem to have a larger variety of plants than the Keystone Sullivans location, but I love both! Our first visit today was very pleasant.

We were looking for Bleeding Hearts and so called around 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon, were assured they had plenty in stock but wouldnt put them aside. Around 10:00 am the next morning we drove almost 30 minutes to get there, asked where the plants were located, they said they did not have any. Allisonville Nursery should just say they do not know if they do not know and not lie to get customers off the phone.

Love this shop, I’ve found almost all of my house plants from this store. Staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable, super excited to see the new additions they are building.

Ive never have experienced a nursery as fabulous as Allisonville Nursery & Garden. I could have spent all day there. And all my money!First of all the staff is excellent. I had to ask for help. First time for a cart. They were Very busy. She had a cart with her personal stuff in it. She cleared it all out of the cart and gave that one to me. Second question was, Where can I find your strawberry vanilla hydrangeas? At fist she said not sure we have them but let me go ask someone who might know. As quickly as can be she was giving me directions to find them. Yes you need directions for this place because they have so much. I followed her directions and there they were! Been hunting for these for awhile now.Then I found my Wu Hosta. Everytime I ordered one they would be sold out! It was a good thing that their carts arent any bigger. I would have had a hard time leaving with a half empty cart.They offer a variety of different things for your home and garden. All of it is classy, cute and at a decent price. But its not your dollar general or Walmart stuff. Better quality than that! I could go on and on about this place. If you love quality plants and garden stuff, this is the place for you!

I love this place, because they normally carry just about anything you could think of in the way of plants. Less than a week ago, I asked an extremely nice young lady, Lauren, if she could special order a Juniper Bonsai Tree. Her reaction was well give it a shot and see what happens!This afternoon, Miss Lauren personally gave me a call to announce that, not only were they able to order this special Bonsai Tree, but they got three sizes in today! Im overjoyed and I may take two of each size home with me soon, as Lauren agreed to hold them for me (primarily because they are a gift for my oldest daughter).Lauren, you have no idea how much this made my day... For that, I thank you!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!! Keep up the great work!

Love coming here to see all of the plants. Right now the place is backed to the ceiling with Christmas items. Plants and pots are all decently priced. Staff is about friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Very nice people with excellent products. Highly recommend for nursery needs. Bought 3 redbud trees and a bunch of box woods. Not cheap but the quality much better than big box stores. Had a Labor Day 25% off sale which was much appreciated!

I am a long time return customer to allisonville road nursery. The staff is amazing but on todays visit, the lady working with the succulents was very unfriendly when I politely asked if she had seen my water bottle (which I accidentally left on a shelf). Everyone else was superb but I didnt think she acted professional at all with her unfriendly attitude. It spoiled a good visit.

We thought this place was fantastic! Great little gift shop and lots of plants. Will definitely start making this a regular stop along with Forest Flower.

If you are a house plant person then you will love this place. They have hard to find plants at a good price.

Wasnt a fan of this nursery when it was owned previously but it has changed owners recently so I thought I would go check it out.Toby was most helpful in finding the plants I needed and gave helpful suggestions. Easy pay, easy in and out. The hardest thing for me was finding a cart! lolGreat selection!

Beyond great customer service provided by Greg. We had a small issue but he went over and beyond to take care of us and was even able to order us a tree we had been looking for for months! Pricing is definitely affordable as well! Makes our hour drive worth every penny!

Nice selection for end of season outdoor plants. However I came for indoor plants - Im new to the area and wanted to make a dish garden for my office. The website indicated that there would be a good selection - unfortunately the selection was equivalent to the local grocery store only more expensive. There were 0 containers in the style that I was looking for. Very disappointing. Will try other stores when I start planting next spring. Dont plan to go back.

I was delighted to get beautiful Norway spruces for such a reasonable cost. I only wish they had more trees in the fall since that is the best time to plant.

I went for the first time today. I usually dont travel that far north, but I decided to make a day houseplant searching. Ive been iso a moss pole and they actually had a good sized one for a decent price. I also found a sundew, which I recently decided was on my plant wishlist (like yesterday), so I was super excited to find one there! They arent just plants either. There christmas decor was so adorable. Ill be back for sure.

I reached out via email to see if I could order herb plants for pick-up since I have a compromised immune system and I’m not allowed to shop their gardens at this time. Scott responded to my email quickly and was able to have them ready for next-day pick-up. Ben loaded them into my car and Colleen handled my payment. I’m grateful for Scott, Ben and Colleen for going above and beyond to help me with my herb garden. The plants were healthy and full and we look forward to enjoying them over the next few months. I highly recommend purchasing your plants at Allisonville Nursey.

Wonderful experience! What asked an employee where a particular item was and he took us to it and gave suggestions on how to plant it and what product to use to give the plant a good start. Weve been going to Allisonville for years because they have wonderfully helpful employees.

Excellent inventory. Before the pandemic I contacted them via phone for quotes on trees. No one answered, left a message, but no one returned my calls. I wonder if the employees are coached to walk around and not help unless you are forceful?- which I am not. I go to nurserys for peace and relaxation.

Plant prices are fair (even below prices of other local plant shops) and there is always a huge variety. Called and was told they not only carried the plant I was looking for but that it was in stock. Drove two and a half hours, each way....not only not in stock, they dont carry it, ever. Totally wasted day.

I LOVE Allisonville Nursery! They have a great selection but what really gains my love is the staff. I cannot tell you how many times I have messaged them on FaceBook because of a plant question that has come up and I am baffled about what is happening. They always respond quickly and if whoever is responding cannot answer my question they get someone else who is more familiar with whatever I am asking about. They saved many of my houseplants and are always so warm and friendly.They have a wonderful selection of shrubs, trees, perennials, and annuals. Inside they have terrarium plants, fairy garden goodies, house plants, air plants, succulents, and cacti and other things as well.They are my happy place.
