I came in yesterday to pick out a new pair of glasses and was welcomed with some of the most hospitable and professional service I’ve ever gotten from an eye wear facility. Katie was extremely helpful and very patient helping me decide while working with my strong prescription and insurance plan. She really made the process as smooth as possible while giving outstanding customer service. I look forward to coming back in a couple weeks, If you are searching for a facility that has great staff and good deals on prescriptions this is the place to be.

I had a wonderful time at this location and with its people. I hadnt gotten an eye exam for a couple years due to my current glasses mostly fulfilling my vision needs. The whole place was clean, and everyone was so nice. Turns out I only had a minuscule change in my prescription, so I worked with an optometric technician to find a nice pair of frames and lens enhancements for sunglasses that would be covered well with my vision insurance. Been waiting to get prescription sunglasses for a while, so I left feeling excited. Everyone was polite and had my best interests and eye health in mind!

Great customer service! The ladies who work there are so amazing and are very kind and were willing to help the extra mile when I came to purchase colored contacts! This was the best optical appointment Ive had in a long time.

This place is great! The ladies who work there, Katie and Twyla, are just so charming, helpful, and lovely. They assisted me with all and any questions that I had. I had such a wonderful experience. The exam was quick and efficient. Definitely going back there!! :)

I was having trouble with my prescription and came back to Pearle Vision ~3 months later. Not only did they update my prescription, but they swapped the lenses out while I was in the store and didnt charge me for the lenses or the exam. Thats fantastic service, and Im very grateful!

My first impression was not good. Staff was not very friendly. Later I tried calling to order contacts during open hours and no one will answer my calls. Guess I will order from someone who wants my money.

I was able to schedule a same day appointment online with no issues. The staff was friendly, the doctor was knowledgeable and I found a new style of glasses that fits my face well. This was the best optical appointment Ive ever had.

I highly recommend Dr. Jeremy. His approach to eye care was easy to understand. I felt he gave great recommendations and advice on next steps. I enjoyed his customer-centric approach and ability to relate complex terms and conditions to easily understandable explanations and examples.

Upon walking into Pearle Vision, we were immediately greeted and made to feel very welcome. They asked if we had any questions, let us know about the deals going on and what was available and then let us look around in the store, which was so nice! My husband and I both found GREAT new glasses, since they had so many name brand, trendy options! The process of ordering was simple for us and we cant wait to get our new glasses! Thanks for being so welcoming, answering all our sily questions, and making it such a simple and easy process so that we could get in and out quickly! We will definitely be back again!

My son and I walked into Pearle Vision 10 minutes before closing on a Sunday. Haley was AMAZING! She took a lot of time with my son, who had never had glasses before, to help him find a pair he was comfortable with. She went above and beyond and stayed at least 40 minutes after closing!! What a negative experience!! Customer service was not great, they didnt ask before doing something if it wasnt covered by insurance, and they will definitely not be getting our business again. Very disappointing experience.

My entire family has been going to this location for several years. We love everyone here. Total eye care with quality products. The staff always works to get the most for my dollar. With 5 family members in glasses and/or contacts that adds up quick! We will continue to go here for as long as our insurance allows us to. Excellent job! Keep up the good work!

I cant speak to the optometrist, really, because my interaction with him was pretty brief. He seems pretty friendly and nice, however.I went to this location after having my eye exam by another provider. My vision plan offered significant savings if going to this in-network provider (Pearle). There are typically two staff plus the optometrist. I was greeted when I walked in, and thats where the proactive help stopped. Even though the one girl was not helping anyone, she wasnt interested in asking me what I was looking for, or in answering many of my questions except in the most general way. I ended up getting frames and lenses, and a week later, no ones called me. I called yesterday and was told they should be done by the end of that day. No call. I called today and only the other staff person is working with three customers in the store, so she needs to return my call later (sometime between 330pm and the close of business). I am REALLY HOPING that my eyeglasses are quality and do not reflect the somewhat-below-expectations customer service that Ive experienced thus far at this location.

I felt rushed by all of the staff even the doctor and was given a wrong prescription for my glasses. I felt no confidence in their staff so I asked for a refund. They refused, but when I argued they refunded half. Staff was short with me and returned my glasses without cleaning their finger prints off which I’ve never experienced at a vision store. Very petty. Now I have glasses I can’t wear and I’m out nearly $200. Poor service and complete crooks.

We were truly impressed with everyone here. They where extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They stayed open late to help my husband learn how to put contacts in. We would recommend Pearle Vision in Fitchburg to everyone. They went above and beyond anything we have ever experienced. Thank you guys so much.

Outstanding, truly exceptional eye care! I had been to several other places in other cities and locally, came here after just receiving a prescription and glasses elsewhere but I just did not like the glasses and the strength seemed a little off, same RX Ive had for years from THREE other optometrists. Either way this place is amazing. I was seen readily and professionally. Thanks again.

Doc and his staff are truly the best. Personable, knowledgeable, and kind! For UW Employees, the assistants know how to maximize the VSP benefits and discounts. I never felt rushed, any question I had was explained and recommendations/possibilities I didnt know existed were offered. Did you know they can make magnetic custom sun glass clips with mirrored varieties or regular varieties for most glasses now? You do now and I bought a pair. MIND BLOWN! Thank you for a lovely morning and a very satisfied customer of 4+ years.

Dr. is great but staff consistently give wrong information. Recently requested updated prescription and realized too late it was incorrect. Now stuck with $250 worth of contacts that are not ideal. Have also had wrong contacts ordered by them. Seems like Dr. notes are not kept up to date therefore my record reflects incorrect information.

My wife gets her checkups and contacts here, and has nothing but good things to say about it. Shes especially pleased, as we were unhappy with our prior provider. Were friends with the owner, though I know they give a high level of service to all of their customers.

My entire family (all 4 of us) arrived earlier on a Saturday morning than we probably wanted to, but what we got was well worth getting up early for!! We found the service to be exceptional. The venture staff was professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and informative. They made the experience fun! I left with contacts (my first ever), my husband and daughter left with same day glasses, and I go back in a liabsolutely ttle over a week and pick up my glasses. We will absolutely return next year for our annual check up!! Thank you team at Pearle Vision on McKee Rd. for making our experience a wonderful one!

This was by far the best experience I have had with an optometrist. Was able to make a same-day appointment with Dr. Goetsch on the phone. Dr. Goetsch is knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and attentive. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. A decent selection of frames, and they were not pushy in trying to sell more expensive frames or lenses.

2 years in a row I have received excellent customer service from the doctor and the staff. I like that the doctor is hands on and knows his own inventory and helps customers when his staff are busy and hes not seeing patients. Brenda helped me get the most bang for my buck when using VSP insurance and also their in store specials. Anytime I called, Wendy had answer for me or explanation if there were any delays in receiving my contacts and glasses. Delays happen in the real world so when I get a courteous explanation, it helps. I recommend this Pearle Vision location to all but especially to state employees who have VSP.

Dr. Goetsch is very kind, personable, and helpful, as are his coworkers, and they all know what theyre doing. And the office isnt out to make the biggest buck, either. Because of a problem with my left eye that has left it partially blind, Dr. Goetsch recommended not even buying contacts for my left eye because itd be a waste of money. I appreciated his honesty!

What an AbFab experience!! Friendly service out of the gate! Crystal was a rockstar and made everything from the pre-screen to the best part, glasses shopping, a blast; but, mostly, she was genuine and cared about every step of the process. Dr. Jeremy was very efficient and super friendly! I’m sorry I don’t recall the names of the other two gals in the shop but they chimed in with technical and friendly assistance and it seemed as though everyone vibed with each other to ensure the best experience for the customer. So grateful to all and I can’t wait to rock my new frames!!

Outrageous prices - more than double most other places for the same productIt was such a shock what they charge for lenses, even with insurance they were still more than double what other shops quoted me for the same exact lens type and specificationThey seemed so arrogant about how they are so much better than anyone else when I asked why such a huge price difference, they essentially declare all other shops are inferior to themDefinitely avoid if outrageous price gauging is not something you enjoy

I am so happy to have found Dr. Goetsch! Ive been unhappy with my eye care provider for over 20 years. Dr. Goetsch is very knowledgeable and friendly. With my extremely high prescription, he certainly knows his stuff. The other staff is always very friendly too.

The tech did not sanitize anything. Usually when I go to the eye doctor, the techs sanitize all equipment they plan to use on me. Then when it came time for me to try on my contact lenses, the station was dirty and not well lit. I will never go here again. The prices are also outrageous for such a low quality place. Walmart would be better than this place, which is where I went with my Rx immediately after leaving this dump

II went to Pearl on McKee for the first time last fall. The glasses are very nice. But when I picked them up, there were some small stress fractures in the lenses. It looked like the one had been bent slightly as it was being put into the frame and there were tiny little line in the plastic. I didn’t notice it until I went over to the grocery store next door. I went right back and they just took them back and had new lenses made. But while waiting for the transitions lens to be made they made a 3rd set in the store that I could use until the final ones were ready. They also upgraded the final lenses to the polycarbonate, which is just a good token to customer service. Im going back for a spare pair soon.
