James was very knowledgeable about the products and helped guide us after we had a chance to try out a few mattresses. The short survey we took helped us narrow things down as well. We had to add something to our order the next day and James helped us figure things out quickly and efficiently. We ordered our new mattress and foundation on Tuesday and it was delivered promptly on Thursday. Much faster than we expected! We were kept informed all along the way about the delivery. The delivery guys were friendly and installed our new mattress very quickly. All in all, a great experience.

Desperately in need of a bed that did not create a painful nights sleep, I walked into the local Mattress Firm on the westside in Flagstaff and was greeted by one of their sales persons (James) right away. He brought with him a notebook and as we discussed what kind of bed I currently have and what I was looking for in a bed to replace it, he took notes. Right away he handed me a pillow to my comfort and began to find what bed felt right to me. After another 15 minutes and attempts for comfort on both sides and my back we narrowed it down to 2 beds. At this point James suggested that I take my time on each bed and I did. I went back and forth until the bed of choice became obvious and I was sold. He also asked if I would be interested in trying new styles in bed frames and I chose one with two reclining positions and a remote.James was incredibly knowledgeable on the construction of the beds and frames, along with where they are made. I bought Made in the USA and Im delighted that was an option too. Overall I give James and Mattress Firm a 5 out of 5 stars. I will recommend them in the future

My partner and I were serviced by a nice man named James and he walked us through the store and was very great in his demeanor!He told us about very great sales going on for most of the beds/mattresses there because of the New Year. We ended up getting a brand new Full sized bed for myself and my partner with a free adjustable base! It was affordable and we didnt even need a hard inquiry on our credit score because we applied for Progressive financing, which youll be approved for if you even got a job!!! So no hard inquiry ruining your credit!:) James really stepped up for us while we were looking for a new bed, and I cant wait to be able to sleep in it come this Friday, because we also got delivery for only 46 bucks!!!!!!!

I was having mattress drama for days. My current mattress was clearly worn out and I was out and about looking for a new one. I was shocked at the cost! Im not made of money and thought I could get a decent deal by buying a new mattress at a local warehouse store, they generally sell quality merchandise. But I was wrong - I slept on the new mattress one night and that was enough to tell that it was just not going to work for me. I was disappointed and really upset that I spent so much money for what I received. After getting a refund I went to mattress firm, and honestly I was sceptical. I had always viewed mattress firm as an over priced predatory environment similar to a car dealership, with salesman ready to pounce and shred . Upon arrival I met James - very polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable and guided me through the selection process, asking questions, answering questions and giving me options, both in merchandise selection and financing. He was up front and clear about all costs which I appreciate, and he understood and worked with me through the entire process . After I finally made up my mind, I purchased a mattress and some pillows and he even helped me load them in my truck. I appreciate his patience and understanding. Came to purchase a Purple bed and was very easy and still got the return policy even better than Purple offers.

Let me start by saying that this review isnt necessarily specific to this mattress firm its more of the online branch however, I did work with these guys initially and the things that happened took place post ordering. The shop staff was knowledgeable enough but it was overall the most frustrating experience to date. I will not be ordering from mattress firm again.I went into the shop a few times to look at the purple 4 mattress and my wife and I fell in love with it. The staff was nice and laid out all of the options. I had a few more questions in the weeks to follow so I decided to use the chat function online. I spoke with Mathew Soto and he said that if we buy now he could give us a discount and match the offer that was on the Purple website. That was more than enough for my wife and I to make a decision and go with the bed. After confirming in the chat and over the phone that he could match the deal on the purple website, we made our purchase. The next day we realized that our order was wrong and it took a few more days to get that fixed.After placing our order, Mathew said that we were locked in for the 26th delivery date so, my wife and I planned accordingly and had made arrangements for our current bed to be gone on the 26th. 2 nights before the bed shows up I received a message that said it was going to be delayed by almost a week. My wife and I were sleeping on the couch/floor until it finally arrived. The mattress firm quickly shifted the blame to the manufacturer and played the pandemic card (understandable) but when I contacted purple the said they werent experiencing delays like the mattress firm has stated. See attached pictures for the conversation.Despite having almost an entire month to ship out the accessories that were included with the bed, they failed to ship the sheets. Everything else came with the bed except for the sheets. The sheets just came in today, a week after they were supposed to, and they were not the ones I ordered. I talked to mattress firm again and I got a completely different response as to why it was delayed. He also contradicted the initial reason why the bed delayed. See attached pictures for the inconsistent excuses.I have a few things that I feel, to be fair, need to clarified.Were the accessories free? Yes. They accessories were free but it was part of the initial deal. We would have got the same deal if we ordered from purple.Did they attempt to make it right? Yes, they gave us a mattress protector and are supposedly sending out the correct sheets. I have yet to receive conformation of that at this moment because I closed the chat out of frustration.Everyone I spoke with about the delays were nice enough but I feel like there is 0 communication between all the different departments. This felt like it was the most uncoordinated and strained way to send a customer their mattress and accessories. For me personally it was not only literally painful but extremely frustrating. I hope this is the last time I ever have to think about the mattress firm. The fact that I got several different excuses for the delays was icing on this terrible cake.Im sure my case is extremely rare but dont shop at the mattress firm.P.S.The delivery guys were great though, so there is that. They set up the mattress and took away the materials so I didnt have to.
